You don’t have to have any dental knowledge to understand the process once they’re done explaining! This will now be both my son and I’s dental office.

Fantastic experience: My experience today (first time at a dentist in over a decade) was great! Though I’m not a huge fan of dental work to begin with, the staff here is awesome. From Dr. Shaw, to Noelia, and Marisa, these guys all knock it out of the park! I’m looking forwards to using them in the future! Also props to the woman answering the phone (I’m afraid I didn’t get her name) - social skills off the charts!

Negative experience: Service was Horrible!! Receptionist was nice friendly and patient. Dr.Shah was rude. She looked annoyed after asking if my daughter could have extractions same day. Making faces and telling me they are overbooked the rest of the day and I will have to wait. She was not friendly at all. We were told to speak insurance verification lady. She seemed friendly but did not help. After a visit of X-rays not confirming insurance….they come to tell me they don’t have my insurance on file so they could not move forward. And we would have to reschedule. I left and get a phone call that they can’t find my daughter on my insurance. So I hang up call another office and they find her insurance within 10 min. Poor service. Dr is Rude. Miscommunication. At the time of visit the Ac did not work as well. Not their fault but did not help someone who was upset and given poor patient care experience.. I was told extractions would be same day to find out they don’t do that. Very unhappy. I took time off work to have nothing done. Waste of time.

Negative experience: Told me come in 20 minutes before my appointment, waited and got treated 20 minutes AFTER my original appointment time. Went in with tooth pain left with tooth pain, dentist didn’t seem to concerned.

Fantastic experience: I've been a patient for years. Clinic is always clean, staff is always friendly and never a long waiting time. In and out in a timely manner.

Negative experience: This dentist office is usually very nice and friendly. But I had an appointment at 4 pm (the office closes at 5), you would think that’s enough time for a general cleaning but the dentist (Dr. Shah) seemed very rushed and looked like she was ready to leave. I hesitated to ask her a clarifying question but I did anyway and honestly she seemed annoyed and bothered. They were also supposed to do sealants on my son’s teeth but somehow there was a miscommunication between them and they didn’t do it. Now I have to wait another 6 months to get them done. The hygienist did mention it’s an extra 5 minutes and the office didn’t even go over the payment with me. I think they were just ready to go so they didn’t bother. Everyone seemed rushed like they were just ready to go home. It was during the week and an hour before closing but it was such poor customer service. I had a missed call after I left but they didn’t even bother to leave a message and I couldn’t talk to anyone because they called exactly before closing. I would suggest getting an early appointment to see if they still have the same attitude. But in my opinion, you’re running a business and every patient should get the same service from every employee. Sadly, that’s not the case at this office.

Positive experience: My verdict: superb hygienists, awesome front desk, meh doctor. Been visiting here for the past few years. I am very impressed by the general preventative care services provided by this practice. Jade the hygienist has been super friendly and gentle and really makes routine care a great experience. Sara is another hygienist that is very thorough and skillful. The front desk staff are all friendly and welcoming. If you are here just for the dental cleaning stuff, I think you are in the right place My experience with the dentists are a bit lukewarm. My main dentist is dr. Shah, who always gives me a "it's-5pm-so-shut-up" impression. She constantly storms in, delivers a heartless conclusion like "you need a root canal" without any explain, and storms out. She also seems very keen to shovel me to her endodontics friends. I had an old root canal service done elsewhere that left a scar tissue that needs to be monitored. In spite of hearing my explain, every time she just rushes to the conclusion that I have a re-infection and need to see her endodontics reference (and I had to make an appointment with my own endodontics just to find out things are fine)...not questioning her skills, but I certainly cannot vouch for her patience or empathy.....I had very limited experience with Barron and Puckett. they seems to be fine.

Fantastic experience: I know google maps is a strong influence when it comes to choosing a place to visit and for this reason I don’t usually throw around good reviews left and right very easily unless they deserve it. The dentist that saw me has been working there for about 10 years and is worth every penny this place charges. I hadn’t been to the dentist in years since the last dentist I went to was a pretty painful experience. Here they were super professional and great at relieving my anxiety. I got a deep cleaning and one filling. All completely painless although since everyone is different I can’t guarantee it will be the same for you but my teeth were pretty bad so I fount it pretty impressive that they look as good as they do after the treatment. They’re an only a few negatives about here and I owe this place nothing so I will happily disclose them. First since it’s a very popular dentist (and for good reason), with tons of return customers, their schedule is usually packed so same week or even sometimes same month treatment may be unavailable. If you’re willing to put up with appointments in the far future then that’s the first obstacle. Second they like to split up treatments into lots of visits. Seems they wanna charge the insurance as many times as possible. I don’t mind as I don’t owe my insurance any loyalty either. They can have at them but be prepared to get like half your mouth cleaned two weeks from now and then maybe the second half a month after that. Then the filling the following week. That’s how it went down with me anyways. If you pay out of pocket it seems u can get it all done in one day but the price will be pretty high and that’s compared to market rates in the general Houston area not my own personal finances.

Fantastic experience: I spent a considerable amount of time searching for a reputable dentist office, and I am delighted to have discovered Pearland Family Dentistry. I was seeking a practice that would alleviate my anxiety and provide a comfortable experience; I can confidently attest that they exceeded my expectations. If it were possible to award more than five stars, I would do so without hesitation; however, five stars will have to suffice. I am thrilled to declare that Pearland Family Dentistry has earned the trust and loyalty of my entire family, and we are pleased to have found our dentist of choice.

Negative experience: Not for people with dental phobia or anxiety. They will not read your past medical history, or what medications you’re currently taking. They’d much rather just bill your insurance for as much as possible and send you on your way. Definitely going to wait for another dentist who cares about people who are clearly terrified to be there.

Upon arrival, I was greeted with a warm welcome, and the team made sure I felt comfortable right away. Genesis, the dental assistant, was so sweet and set such a positive atmosphere during my visit. She was kind and made me feel at ease. Wendy the dental hygienist did an excellent job with my cleaning—there was no pain at all, and she took her time to make sure everything was thorough. She also took the time to explain everything in detail, answering all of my questions in a way no hygienist has ever done before. It was clear she cared about my understanding and comfort. The Dr was also wonderful! She was so sweet and addressed all of my concerns. I was impressed that everything I needed was able to be done during the same visit, which made things so much more convenient. Overall, a truly excellent experience. Highly recommend this office for anyone looking for outstanding dental care!

Fantastic experience: Starting in February, from getting my front tooth extracted to getting my implant. Everything was great! The team was more than helpful and patient throughout the entire process. Im happy I switched to this dentistry and will be my official Dentisry i will go to from now on.

Negative experience: We have been going to Puckett since he was brand new because he welcomed families. They always attended to my children. My 13 year old has a dying tooth and we called to get an appointment to get it looked at and we were told they didn't do children's teeth and we had to find a pediatric dentist. What? My kids have been going there their whole entire lives. Also, because of Puckett denying a crack in my tooth (the other dentist who is t thee anymore saw it and he disagreed) I have now had two root canals on the same tooth. When I told him I had an infection, he argued with me, but lo and behold, after one day of antibiotics, I felt better. So no, Puckett is not a very good dentist and his office has become a glorified tooth cleaning business. Sara is the best dental hygentist though. I hate to not go to her anymore, but after over a decade, our family is done. They didn't even suggest we go in with our child so they could look at it and recommend a pediatric dentist. It was just a no, like we were a waste of time.

Fantastic experience: Staff is very nice and professional. I am having a cardiac procedure next month and they all made sure to wish me good luck and a speedy recovery. It made me feel like they actually listen and get to know their patients. Everyone there makes me feel at ease when I visit the office.

Fantastic experience: Though I dislike dentists, they were really great and put me at ease. Dr. Shah was amazing. While I do need work done, I feel better knowing it will be done here. They really walk you through everything and from the procedures to the cost and insurance. They take their time and are patient with you and make sure you not only understand what is needed but also why, the cost but also helping alleviate stress and anxiety. Overall a fantastic experience, something I never thought I would say about a dentist appointment but they really put me at ease and made it a much better experience than I have ever had at a dentist.

Fantastic experience: I loved the service, location and office. It was clean and had a play area for kids. Everyone was nice. The women gave the kids toys and flavored toothpaste for cleaning. While I was getting checked, they entertained my toddler and he was very comfortable. My 9 month old also did really well. They had so much patience and were very kind. I would recommend to anyone!

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love it here. I usually get both my daughter and myself teeth Cleanings during back to back appts. We are always out of the office at the right time. Even when I moved to the medical center, I still drive this way because I refuse to switch. I have weak enamel and teeth cleanings make me nervous. The hygienists are so gentle and they always make sure they aren’t hurting me. They also don’t make me feel bad about if I need anything done. My daughter loves it as well her cleanings are relaxing while she watches my little pony lol. Never leaving!

Fantastic experience: My kids like to go to the dentist. They have a game system for the kids to play on in the waiting room area. We are never there long enough to use a lot, except for today. They took my husband in for a cleaning because we were waiting, there was a cancellation, and he had an appointment for the end of the month that he had to reschedule. That brings me to the only thing that sucks is scheduling an appointment, because they get booked out quickly. I usually book my appointments at the end of an appointment and have no problems. I used to have high anxiety going to the dentist due to a difficult situation and a jaw that locked. The people here have made me feel better about going to the dentist and it not being a painful experience everytime. The kids also like the TVs on the ceilings as it helps keep their mind occupied.

Negative experience: My family has come here for over a year and today my daughter had an appointment at 4:20pm for her 6 months cleaning . We were 10mins late due to traffic which i called 30mins before the appointment to let’s them know ( they said it’s ok to come ) . When we got there, the hygienist told us that she can’t take my daughter because she was late! We will definitely not coming back to this place. We don’t recommend coming here from what happened.

Negative experience: Would not recommend this place to anyone. I had an appointment for a general cleaning only to be told that I needed a deeper cleaning that is going to cost $375 dollars due to my gum pockets being a little bit inflamed. I went to a different dentist to get a second opinion and that dentist told me that my gums are perfectly fine! That I am not a candidate for a deep cleaning and that if I did do a deep cleaning it would most likely do more harm than good. I payed $99 at this office and left with uncleaned teeth.

Fantastic experience: I had a tooth go south on me over the weekend. I called Pearland Family Dentistry on Monday and they got me an appointment on Tuesday morning. I have to take antibiotics for 2 days before I have any dental work and they made an appointment for my dental needs in that time frame. Everyone I had contact with was very nice and treated me with kindness and concern for my comfort. I would highly recommend this dental office for anyone looking.

Fantastic experience: What a beautiful office! I was very impressed with the friendliness and knowledge of the staff. I was anxious about my 13-month olds first dentist visit. From the second we entered, we were both greeted and he was introduced to the toy room. Staff members and the hygienist were so warm and hands-on with my son and he had no problem opening up to them and allowing them to see his teeth. I felt at ease the whole time.

Positive experience: Nice enough. Came here for Mom. Crown fell off. Was told to be here 10 mins b4. I got here 8:20 am. Appt for 8:30 am. We were called back 8:50 am. As a nurse working in Urgent Care. I get patients back as soon as check in is done. I guess I expected to get it all done, first visit. Was disappointed in that. If they gave that info up front, I would have chosen a different day, maybe a different time. Frustrating trying to make time and long space for another visit.

Fantastic experience: I felt that the staff did a thorough job with everything. The hygienist took her time to really clean my teeth. I figured after 5 years if not going, my teeth would be a mess but they weren’t. Didn’t need a deep cleaning.

Positive experience: I loved the attention to detail when taking care of my teeth by the dentists and their assistants, it was super professional. However, when I had to create my next appointment, the receptionist was rude enough to a point where another receptionist had to step in and help me instead. The rude receptionist made my experience a bit more sour at this establishment that I already really love, please do something about this!

Positive experience: Best hygienist I’ve seen in years. She reviewed and explained x-rays and recommended procedure in detail and took the time to answer my questions. I feel comfortable using this office going forward because of her. Only 4 stars because dentist seemed disinterested/distracted. I guess he relies on his hygienists to communicate with patients.

Fantastic experience: Dr Shah made me feel comfortable. She explained everything I needed done. She was even able to save my tooth after another dentist years ago told me he would have to extract it. For years i couldn’t eat on my left side due to a broken molar that I didn’t want to have extracted. When she told me that she would try her very best to save it, I felt as she cared about what I wanted and her passion to be the best dentist she could be.

Fantastic experience: This is absolutely the best dental clinic and staff. Gina is phenomenal with communication, scheduling, and explaining paperwork. It’s really easy to schedule my appointments. I appreciate that everything from treatment to billing is explained as they go along, and operationally, everything is smooth. They are on time with appointments. Dr. Shah is wonderful. You can tell she enjoys her career. She is sweet, thorough in explaining, and I can tell she has her patients’ best interest in mind. Sarah T. and all other staff I’ve engaged with have also been great. My experience both times I’ve gone has been nothing but positive. I’m someone who typically gets anxiety going to the dentist, but I’ve actually loved my experience when going and look forward to going back. You can also tell there’s a great culture - it’s a joyous place!

I knew I needed some work to be done and the Dr not once made me feel uncomfortable he walked me through all the phases and possible work I would need. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly staff member and the wait time at the lobby was surprisingly short. Elizabeth and Dr Barron made me feel very comfortable with my visit and they both listened to my concerns. I dread going to the dentist because I am self conscious about my teeth but after my visit, I walked out of there feeling I found a place I can trust. Very nice staff, able to get in and out quickly. Dentist and hygienist are very friendly and easy to work with. Definitely coming back!

Fantastic experience: Monday morning I had a bad toothache. I called a Pearland family dentist that morning by 12 PM they were working on my tooth. They removed one tooth and did a root canal and a deep clean teeth cleaning. They were very helpful and gentle on my mouth. This is my go to family dentist. Thank you very much, Doctor

Fantastic experience: First experience of my daughter at the dentist and everyone was so nice. This is definitely not your old school dentist office. TVs are on the ceiling to make children feel a little more at ease, clean office and welcoming atmosphere.

Positive experience: My experience in the dental room was great and very informative. I was told the front desk would go over everything with me. Once up front, I was basically rushed out. I never got to ask all my questions. The receptionist told me the lady was busy and showed me a treatment plan for only one tooth in the waiting room, then said I'd receive my copy in an email. I'm sure I'll go ahead and make an appointment for treatment, because the dentist and dental assistant were so wonderful.The front staff needs to treat every patient with some sort of importance, it was so rude and unprofessional. I'm giving four stars because I really liked the dentist and hey, that's what's important.

Fantastic experience: Loved the atmosphere when I first walked in! I’m particular and a bit of a butt whip, at times, but this placed made me feel right at home, and this was my first visit! Grace was awesome and clicked with my attitude and concerns right off. It’s ironic but I actually enjoyed going to the dentist!

Fantastic experience: My kids have has some bad dentist experiences. Until we started coming here. But today was the test. My youngest needed fillings ( he has an incurable sweet tooth ). He came through it with no anxiety or crying. He was all smiles and I was amazed! They are amazing at this place and I am so happy I found them.

Fantastic experience: I have found the right place and I pray nothing changes. Everyone is so friendly and professional. They make you feel comfortable. There is no wait time, they get you in and take very good care of you! They educate you on everything about your teeth and the break down of your bill. I can appreciate that.

Fantastic experience: Loved this dental office. From the staff to the office alone. The staff is great, everyone was friendly, even the Dr (Dr. Shah). The office was nice and clean. Everyone was very professional. All in all it was a great experience. Definitely going back and recommending to others. Update: I still come here 8 years later lol I have been with Dr. Shah for many years. She's amazing. My kids love her too. She's very sweet and kind. Also patient coordinator Sarah is amazing and sweet. Love them both. Amazing dental office and all their staff is nice. Love it here. I don't mind the long drive to come to them. If they were to move an hour away I'd still go. That's how good they are.

Fantastic experience: This was the most normal dentist experience I've had it years, and that's a FANTASTIC thing. No incessant overselling. No scare tactics. No begging for reviews like the business depends on it. Simple. Reasonable. Respectful. Knowledgeable. Kind. I hesitate to highly recommend, just because I'd like to keep the secret to myself, but shouldn't tell a lie. You should go here. Best dental experience I've had.

Fantastic experience: From the front desk back to "the chair" where it all goes down it's professional service all the way around. Have been very pleased and appreciative of the staff, the doctors and the degree to which they have gone to give quality care. And hey, I can eat again(!) without every bite feeling like a tiny person is in my mouth hammering away with an electrified ice cold pickaxe. Much appreciated! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Very clean office, Wendy the hygienist did an awesome job cleaning my teeth she really got in there. The RDA Sabrina also did an awesome job taking my X-rays, she did not hurt me one bit. Over all the office is just a great one thanks Pearland family dentistry.

Displayed genuine concern for my comfort throughout my visit. I was seen by Dr. Shah & I was very pleased with her care. My dental hygienist was very thorough as well. Fantastic experience: So great. Would fly out to this dentist office if I ever changed locations. Best experience ever as of now. Everyone encountered was nice and polite. My Dentist was amazing and her assistant as well. They seemed very understanding and in tune. Even though Im not sure where my odontophobia stems from, it didn't seem to make a difference as the team was extremely patient and made sure I was totally comfortable without me even pre warning them about my fears. Thank you guys. My husband too will br requesting an appointment to this dentis clinic for the nest experience possible. Thanks Again!!
