Fantastic experience: Even though I hate to go for my cleaning , I don't mind going to see the great folks at Atlantic Dental. I have never had to wait very much for my appointment and everybody is very nice there. My hygienist this visit was out and I saw Katherine this time. She was excellent! She changed the water for my cleaning to a temperature I felt comfortable with and offered to put numbing gel on my gums to help me with the pain. The numbing gel helped me tremendously! I had a very wonderful experience this time, better than any of my previous visits. Thank you so much caring!

Dr. Lee and my hygienist are great. Can't ask for better. Excellent. They really are a great team. I drive from the outer banks to get my dental work done. I have been going to them for around 20 years. I used to live in Wilmington before I moved. But they do such a good job that I kept them as my dentist. Plus it is nice to leave the obx for a day once in a while. I would recommend them any day. I can only add that they are the best around anywhere in the eastern part of the state. I had had braces a long time ago and when I lost my retainer the doctor in VA told me I didn't need it any more and now 40 years later my teeth have moved and he sent me to talk with Dr. Campbell and I have had a wonderful experience. Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Dr Frazelle at Atlantic Dental Group since moving to Wilmington about 15 years ago. The office staff is friendly, professional, and very capable. My first experience with them was actually before I moved. I was in town for three days to baby sit my new grandson & broke a tooth. When my daughter-in-law called, I was promptly fitted in, given care to keep the tooth from causing pain or further damage and advised to see my regular dentist on my return home. From emergencies to routine cleanings I have found their service exceptional.

Fantastic experience: I've been neglecting my oral health for a long time and things have admittedly gotten kinda bad. Neglect has partially been due to lack of disposable income, but mainly due to my irrational fear of dentistry. The pain has gotten to be unbearable and I had no choice but to seek help. I am so happy I chose Atlantic dental group. Every member of his team was so nice and helpful. Every step was explained in detail. They came up with a 3 year plan to help get everything back to good again while staying within my insurance coverage. At no time was any extra guilt or shame thrown towards me like I have experienced in the past at other offices. I regret waiting so long to get help and I actually look forward to going back for more work. Dr Frazelle is top notch!! I can not say enough good things about him and his team!

Fantastic experience: I really liked Lauren, the hygienst that took care of my teeth. She has a great personality. She also did an excellent job cleaning my teeth. In addition, Dr. Wells was very personable and thorough in evaluating the condition of each and every tooth. They both took their time and gave me some good advice on how to improve the condition of my teeth.

Fantastic experience: I do not like going to the dentist. At all. However, I was long over due for a check up and cleaning and my husband recommended Atlantic Dental, as he has them take care of his teeth. So, I went. And they were amazing. The first thing I noticed is that the windows face a pond, they have bird feeders out and there is a lot of wildlife around. That is a nice distraction from the standard four office walls. Next, they were amazing at addressing my concerns, going slow, and making sure I had breaks when needed. Each member, from the front office staff all the way up to the dentists, were kind, thoughtful, helpful and genuinely wanted to make sure I was doing okay. They kept it as minimally intrusive as possible and I cannot recommend them enough.

Fantastic experience: I don’t leave reviews hardly ever but I will for them so that’s saying something! Bear with me here… I’ve been a patient of Atlantic Dental since 2002. I’ve seen Dr. Winneberger once before and had nothing but positive thoughts from my visit with him; he’s a very kind and intelligent doctor, who practices a whole health approach to dental care! Dr. Lee has been my dentist for the majority of my life, though. They changed what insurances they accept this year and I chose to find and enroll in a plan they accept just so I could stick with them!! Dr. Lee is just such a charismatic guy and is also very competent in his profession! What also keeps me going back twice a year is he/the hygienists always take time to answer any questions I have, no matter how many, as well as ask about what I’m up to, how my family is, talk sports, even sharing stories about our pets. They are very welcoming, thorough, and just a group of awesome people from the front to the back of the practice. I missed Mrs. Linda today at check in and hope to see her next time, but the rest of the admin team rocks too! Smiling faces all around! I’ve seen multiple hygienists over the years there but Mayra has done most of my appointments for a while now and man she is exceptional! I had an appt with Katherine today for the first time in a while and she is a hoot too- her bubbly personality really made my day brighter and she rocked my cleaning! Overall, I have full trust in them with my dental health but I also feel welcomed and understood when I see them so I always look forward to every biannual appointment! They are a practice that truly cares about their patients!!

Fantastic experience: Everyone was incredibly nice and welcoming. Before I ever even went to my appointment, Lynn was gracious and patient over the phone with my scheduling difficulties. Once I visited the office, Grace was so sweet, she made sure I was comfortable and treated me like a friend. Dr. Lee provided excellent care, clearly informing me with a treatment plan and even asked about the wellbeing of 2 family members that are patients of his as well. 10/10 experience, 10/10 crew.

They always take care of whatever the issue is-scheduling, referral, insurance, etc., in a timely and competent manner. It’s wonderful. I have some complex issues and a sticky jaw and they are very conscientious and gentle. I would especially recommend them to anyone who has complicated issues or has had poor quality dental work in their history. Not only has Dr. Winneberger fixed previous work, he has worked a treatment plan that has vastly improved my dental health and also my outlook towards the treatment. He’s super upbeat, communicates very well and is a great dentist.

Fantastic experience: First I woke up with a tooth ack called the office and they got me worked in today. All the office people are very helpfull. The dental assistant was helpfull and listened to how I described the problem. Dr we tee urged came in and examine the tooth and gave me a step by step on how we were going to fix the problem. Both of them took the time to listen to me and made me fill like I was part of the solution.

Fantastic experience: My husband Jim was in the Air Force with Dr. Bernard Morgan, when Jim got out of the AF we settled in Wilmington, when Dr. Morgan got out of the AF in 1961 he settled in Wilmington and opened his dental practice here. We have gone to this dental practice ever since then. Never gone to any other dental practice. We've never had one complaint concerning the service or treatment. Dr. Morgan was, and Dr. Frazelle is, an excellent dentist and we see no reason to ever change. Thank you Dr. Frazelle and Atlantic Dental Group!

Fantastic experience: Staff is very professional and friendly from Front Desk check in to checking out My Hygienist was very pleasant did an awesome job. Dr Lee is #1. Fantastic experience: This office is how it should be done everywhere. They are always on time and friendly and personable. The office is very clean and pleasant. My Hygienist, Katherine was so careful and complete in her notations and in cleaning my teeth. Katherine is a sweetheart and I hope she stays with this office a while. Fantastic experience: The staff quickly worked me in for an unscheduled appointment to repair an old crown (not originally placed by this practice) that had fallen off. They were then able to complete my semiannual exam & cleaning at the same time, 3 weeks earlier than my previously scheduled appointment. I appreciate their flexibility and willingness to save me time so I wouldn’t need to return for a second visit within 3 weeks.

Positive experience: I have always had a pleasant experience here. The dentist, dental hygienist, schedulers, and billing have always been a delight. The front desk lady has always disliked me for some reason. I assume it’s because my one year old and four year old now 5 years old run around and can be loud. I will never go back after today and that is really sad. While checking an urgent work email my one year old got a little scarecrow and she yelled at me for that. So I made sure to follow him around for the remainder of the hour. When my daughter came out I was talking to her hygienist about one of her teeth and she was letting me know the progress on my 12 year old son because I know the front desk lady hates it everytime we are scheduled. I interrupted the hygienist once to scold my daughter for running around. While trying to finish the conversation, my daughter and one year old continued to run around. Just wanting to finish up the conversation (so she could get her next patient) the front desk lady stood and yelled at me to “do something about my kids”. I have worked as a receptionist in a doctors office before and I would have never done that to a patient. Knowing that she comes from from a different generation and knowing that my daughter’s behavior was unacceptable even though she is only five and my son is one. Her behavior towards me and my kids is the only reason we will not be back. I can not continue going to an establishment where we are looked down on or treated so rudely. Sometimes as a single mother juggling three kids, working, and trying to talk about the results from a visit is hard. And as a woman herself she should show some compassion or empathy to future patients especially mothers. I was already embarrassed by my daughter’s behavior but not nearly as embarrassed and angered as I was by the unprofessional grown adult sitting behind the receptionist desk.

Fantastic experience: The entire staff at Atlantic Dental is kind, friendly, professional and extremely helpful. Dr. Lee and Sidney make every visit comfortable and thorough, addressing any concerns and answering every question -even about my children’s’ dental needs- during my visits. There is never a long wait in the waiting room or in the chair. The office goes the extra mile to obtain any necessary records or x-rays from other offices and I know I can trust Dr. Lee’s recommendations and referrals. Linda makes sure you know what your insurance will cover for anything upcoming and that your next appointment is made before you leave. Excellent service and experience overall!

Fantastic experience: It was my first time at Atlantic Dental Group and couldn’t be more happy. Sidney was my hygienist and did an excellent job with my cleaning, she was caring and thorough. I have sensitivity and she went above and beyond to help me not to feel the sensitivity during my cleaning. Dr. Winneberger is very knowledgeable, kind and friendly. The atmosphere is professional and all the personnel provided great service. I recommend it 100%

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Dr. Lee for over 20 years. His nurse Loretta Harvell is very efficient and caring. Her and Dr. Lee are always there when I need them and always present and attentive during my visits. Even though I have to drive over 45 minutes to their office - I wouldn’t switch to another dentist that is closer to home.

Fantastic experience: I have been going here ever since I was little. It has always had a calm, professional atmosphere! I’ve never had to wait long to be seen either. I’ve always had Dr. Lee as my dentist and he does a fantastic job. He’s very kind, funny, and personable! My hygienist is Hannah and she is amazing! Always professional and makes me feel very comfortable. I’ve never had any pain at any of my appointments unless it was just a little sensitivity. I will recommend this place to any and everyone!
