Fantastic experience: Brought my 15 month old and had a great experience from beginning to end. My baby gets scared and cries easily but the medical staff was patient and understanding. Will be recommending.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend it. It's comfortable and peaceful for children. The staff are very kind and always smiling. The clinic doesn't feel like a hospital at all; it's more like being in a fairytale house.

Negative experience: The place itself was great! Only downside was I was completely overcharged by the business manager (I feel like she should be a bit better at her job, Christina) but it seemed like she was able to rectify the mistake although it will take 5-10 business days so make sure you check them twice!

Fantastic experience: As a mom, The Super Dentist Carmel Valley is a lifesaver! Each visit feels like a magical adventure, and my girls love it. The office is bright and fun, more like a playdate than a dental appointment. The staff is incredibly warm, and Dr. Tran has a knack for making kids comfortable and happy. Watching my daughters leave with smiles and excitement is priceless. Their office is definitely stress-free!

Negative experience: I did not have a good experience with orthodontics. They scheduled my daughter to get her trays then tell us that they ordered the wrong size and delay treatment for another month. They charge a lot of money for Sparks and delay treatment for 2 months.

Fantastic experience: They are amazing as always. Quick, efficient, reliable, and so great with the kids. They make going to the dentist fun and also a learning experience as to how important taking care of their teeth is.

Negative experience: August 2025: My two children (4 years old and 22 months at time of visit) were seen on Oct 11, 2024. Several things were wrong the day of my visit and I'm still trying to work out the billing with the Financial Department. So I decided to write this review to warn others to triple check your insurance and this office. First, the actual visit: yes, they have a lot of activities and cute set up in the front while you wait for your appointment, which we did for over 30 minutes. They also had someone doing face painting, so the kids were entertained for this wait time, thank goodness. Second, they first saw my 22 month old son. I brought him in because he had to have two of his incoming baby molars lasered open by our dentist back in Virginia so I wanted him to see his sister get checked and get comfortable with this new office. I stated when I made the appointment I would only like a light cleaning. When he gets in the chair, they demand he have full X-rays and photographs or they wouldn't see him and I would have to pay the cancellation fee. Well it turns out that my insurance doesn't cover X-rays and photographs for a child under 3, so I'll be having to pay that out of pocket (more about insurance below). So I should have just paid the cancellation fee, or stated No I showed up to my appointment and am refusing unnecessary services. My 4 yo daughter, whose teeth I brush and floss every night and has been going to the dentist since she was 2 with no issues, no cavities, and had a clean bill of health in April 2024 at again our awesome Virginia dentist, was told she has 8 cavities, and that I could pay out of pocket to have them capped for usually $750, but if I did them all right then it would be $300-400 (can't remember the exact amount) out of pocket. Since they were late to getting into their appointment and I thought I had scheduled for the same time, but they did each child back to back, so it took twice as long, my son needed a nap, so I said No. FYI: Went to a different dentist in Vista with both kids: 4 yo daughter-no cavities, no recommendation for caps. My now 2 yo son did NOT get forced to do X-rays and they said they would not even consider it for a child under 3 (which is when my insurance will cover it and this dentists office knew that, so said even if it wasn’t their policy to skip at such a young age they would not do it bc I’d have to pay out of pocket). Then for checking out, they upsold their Super Dentist gimmicks of a dinosaur toothbrush for my son ($25) and a tongue cleaner for my 4 yo daughter ($15-20, can get similar product on Amazon for $2), but already showed my kids, so I said Yes. Partly my fault, but this dentist also doesn't provide a toothbrush or anything after, which my kids expected from their past dentist. This is not a deal breaker but definitely not the normal experience I have even with my adult dentist. Now for the insurance: I called my insurance company and the super dentist to make sure my insurance would be taken here. Turns out only Dr. Keri, who is basically retired, is in network at the Super Dentist (SD), and while the Financial Dept billed to my medical (Primary) insurance initially, they billed using the dentist my kids supposedly saw on that day to FEP Dental. The SD stated today during my texts they have to use the dentist that was seen, but then why did Dr. Keri get used for the first claim? Also, that should be conveyed to me when I called to ask, so I could specify I need an appointment with Dr. Keri. I have literally called, emailed or texted every 2 months since October trying to get this resolved to no avail. I have also received 3 very generic letters stating I have past due bills with neither child's name, no itemized list, just one lump sum that I owe. When I call them about it, they stated their system just sends out these letters even if insurance is pending. That is a terrible system and alarming to be told I have an overdue bill.

Fantastic experience: My youngest son has gone here since he was in kindergarten and now he’s in college. His new Orthodontist Dr. Cheung was very kind and explains everything in detail. He shows that he is truly caring and wants what is best for our son. We always leave feeling very confident with Dr. Cheung’s advice during and after our visit. The staff is always courteous and professional also.

Fantastic experience: Loved the decor inside which kept my little one distracted while waiting for our appointment and the dentist assistant and the doctor were very good with my son and kept him calm. I would absolutely recommend the location on el camino real to anyone!

Fantastic experience: We had a great experience during our recent visit to the dental hospital. The staff was very professional, super cooperative, and made the whole process smooth and comfortable—especially for my child. It was clear that they are experienced in handling young patients with care and patience. We truly appreciate the excellent service and would highly recommend this place to other families!

The decor and facility were so kid friendly and entertaining and every corner offered positive hygiene resources and encouraging information for kids and adults alike. My kids actually enjoyed the visit even after having to get procedures done. Were looking forward to taking the next steps in our journey through braces together with my kids.

Fantastic experience: Best dental office, from front desk staff to dentist assistant and dentist. Ortho is also amazing. My kids love going there.

Negative experience: This review is only for their reception/ scheduling team. I can’t speak for their dentist since we never saw one. You make an appointment online. You call to confirm the appointment. You bring your child to the appointment and you are told ‘Sorry you’re not on the calendar , come back tomorrow!’

Fantastic experience: Went in today at 9 for my ortho appointment. Dr. Tran helped remove my braces with Cindy. Before that, Leo explained my treatment and what I have left to finish. After the braces came off, Cindy took pictures and asked me some questions. Everyone was helpful and caring which made the visit smooth.

Fantastic experience: My daughter was really scared at first .But once she got in the chair and the lady talked her through her and the doctor she did better then I excepted.This is one of the hardest jobs a mother has to do.But job was well done by super dentist .They made my baby feel comfortable and proived her with a blanket and some cartoons and she was just fine plus i got to be their right by my babygirl side thats what mattered the most to her.Thankyou have a blessed day and god bless the team.

Fantastic experience: This place is great. They have all kinds of fun things for the kids to do while they're waiting and it's very child focus. They make my daughter feel very comfortable and they have great products to encourage good dental hygiene even after the visit. Staff is always helpful and we are in and out quickly and they explain procedures clearly.

Positive experience: Dentists are good and professional but the waiting time for an appointment that was maid 3 months ahead can be more that 50 minutes. This is unacceptable for customer service I suppose.

Negative experience: BE AWARE. Took my kids here just for a regular dental cleaning and exam (no other service was performed), which is fully covered by our insurance. However, Superdentist sent us a $100 bill 3 months later even though they have already collected almost $900 from the insurance. Their claim included the services that was not performed during the appointment to order to collect more from the insurance. update: i have sent an email to address below according to their reply, but never got a reply.

Fantastic experience: Staff were legitimately happy to assist us and had positive attitudes. It seemed that they really love to work there and it showed.

Fantastic experience: They are very quick, my child did not have to be in the chair long. The dental assistants are great and really make sure the child is comfortable. They are very friendly to my child and always address their concerns in a positive manner. The dentists are very professional and give expert care.

Fantastic experience: The staff in the front and doctors are very nice and doctors explained what will happen before procedure for my kid. This procedure happened at Carmel Valley. Dr. Coyle was very kind to my kid and the other doctor she was very nice too and they were both good doctor.

They get to play before seeing the dentist, watch tv while getting the exam which I think is great for the kids and forget what’s going on. also all the staff are so nice to both patients and parents. Negative experience: My child was scheduled for an appointment and when we showed up, there were a room full of family waiting. After checking in, we had to wait for about an hour before we were led into the treatment room and was greeted with further waiting. Such a big waste of time!

Fantastic experience: We had a great first experience with my 3-year-old at this dentist’s office! The team was very professional, the environment was clean, and it was so kid-friendly. We had a wonderful visit, and I strongly recommend this office. Soli did an amazing job!

Negative experience: We waited for literally one and half hour and still couldn’t see the doctor. They don’t respect appointments at all and just prioritize the treatments over regular check ups. All parents know how difficult it is to keep a one year old to wait 1.5 hour. My daughter gets so fussy and we have to leave without seeing the doctor in the end. Wasted my whole morning.

Fantastic experience: We got our Son’s baby teeth extraction done at the Super dentists at Carmel valley. The entire process was very smooth. The place itself is super kid-friendly with lots of options like books and games.Would like to especially thank and mention Dr.Soha for making it so quick and neat…Also Ms.Soli who is very compassionate and supportive through both our visits. Negative experience: NOT RECOMMEND I didn't spend much time choosing a clinic; we live nearby, and my daughter was captivated by the interior as we passed by. Indeed, the inside is beautiful and resembles a playroom. Our first visit was pleasant; we met with the doctor who cleaned my daughter's teeth and took X-ray images. The doctor explained that one tooth needed treatment and two needed monitoring, which seemed reasonable. I was surprised during our next visit when the receptionist exclaimed that it was a "severe case" and that my child had eight! cavities that needed to be treated that day. I was shocked, as we had previously been informed there was only one tooth to be treated and one to watch, confirmed by other doctors who reviewed the X-rays we were sent. Concerned, I inquired about the drastic change in the treatment plan. Additionally, I was puzzled why we had a different doctor and why the room looked more like a sterile operating room than the welcoming environment of our first visit. The new doctor wanted to give gas to my daughter, administer anesthesia, and treat eight approximal contacts in one sitting—far from the initial plan of monitoring one and treating another tooth. Feeling uneasy, I asked the doctor for further clarification, and eventually, she admitted that this aggressive treatment plan was unnecessary. I decided not to proceed with any treatment that day and to seek a second opinion. It felt like the doctor wanted us to leave quickly without asking more questions. We visited another clinic, which confirmed the original treatment plan, and we followed it. This experience taught me always to verify treatment plans at every stage. I would not recommend Super Dentists—the change in doctors, the treatment room, and the treatment plan on the second visit were alarming. Always double-check everything and don’t be swayed by first impressions.

Negative experience: They have billing issues and scheduling cancellation issues. If you want to pay unknown extra fees, this is the place. It's not easy to make an appointment less than three months for a braces adjustment. Worst thing is that they keep canceling the appointments and impossible to reschedule. My son needs to adjust his braces every 10 weeks, but it takes over 20 weeks to get scheduled all the time.

Fantastic experience: The first time they came for an appointment at the clinic. Everything was done at a high level. We and the children are very satisfied. Doctor Olga and assistant Soli perform their work very professionally.

Fantastic experience: Just recently my daughter had a procedure done here, from start to finish all staff were completely understanding, patient, helpful and very accommodating. Each and every conversation was very much explained, staff allowed me to comfort my child before and immediately after. The process was very much explained by each individual which is very much appreciated. Each time my daughter has a cleaning they always explain to her what's going on and check in with her each time and make sure she's comfortable. Fantastic experience: We’ve been coming here since 2020 and this is our second go at a dentist office and have loved it ever since! I don’t have the most reliable schedule and they always work with me and are so understanding! Selena loves coming here the staff is always SO nice. Today we had a routine check up and Soli assisted us and was just a joy and pleasant person to be around. Never changing this office for my little one! We love it!

Every single staff member from the front desk girls, to the dentist herself, and her assistant Soli, we’re fantastic, warm and welcoming. I really wanted to give a special shout-out to Soli-she truly made our experience there comfortable and memorable. She is the sweetest. If you’re able to, request her! Though it never pleasant, to spend years with appliances in your mouth, he always found ways to make it just that much more bearable. Negative experience: This place will do a bunch of work your kids don’t need and bill your insurance for things they never did just to see what they’ll pay. You get random bills for things they cannot explain such as $100 for “behavioral modification”. It feels like a giant scam and it’s always a battle. Their dentist referred us to their in-house surgeon who suggested a $13,000 surgery to correct my daughter’s overbite. Took her to two other Orthodontists who couldn’t figure out why they were even looking at x-rays when it was clear that not only does she not have overbite, but she doesn’t even need braces. Avoid this one, and don’t get fooled by their advertising.

Fantastic experience: This is our first time taking our kids to the dentist (5 and 2 years old). Coming into the office was enjoyable for the kids being welcomed into a fantasy land. The office was clean and really friendly. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Our dental hygienist Soli, was really nice and helpful when it comes to working with the kids.

Fantastic experience: We have been going here for 6 years since my son was 6 months old and now i bring my 1 year old they are always so nice and patient with my crazy kids. This place is clean and well organized and the tvs available for the kids helps keep them still.

Fantastic experience: We hadn't been back to the Suoer Dentists for 3 years. Soli was so nice. She was kind and helpful, and even gave us a little help on the sealant price. Even if it's been a while, head to the Super Dentist. My Daughter Ivy, actually gets excited to go.

Fantastic experience: We love the super dentists! My daughter (11) has been coming here since she was 3 or 4. Soli is a wonderful hygienist & my daughter just adores her. I will say they push their services pretty hard, but maybe that’s a good thing. It’s good to be informed of all the options.
