Fantastic experience: I started going to Preferred Family Dental due to Kay experiences elsewhere. I need to have a crown looked at that was giving me some problems. The team was kind, understanding and quick to remedy the situation. The dentist, Dr. Tori, was great and funny. I was appreciative of the experince!

I am terrified of going to the dentist and getting me to make the appointment and get the evaluation says alot for me . I can't say enough about this group of PROFESSIONALS. From check in to check out and everything in-between they heard me when I said I'm terrified of going to the dentist , and made sure i was comfortable even though it was just an evaluation of what i needed done .I saw the xray tech , dentist , hygienist and a plan with the oral surgeon all in the 1 visit . I made multiple appointments ( that i plan on keeping) to get my oral health taken care of . Thank you very much Preferred Family Dental you guys are amazing!

Fantastic experience: My husband’s crown from a previous dentist fell out Sunday night and he called preferred family dentist Monday morning, and they got him in the same day early afternoon. This is something we’ve never experienced with any dentist. This is only been our second time visiting them and they have been Wonderful.

She helped to get both sons taken care of so I didn't have to cancel my other son's appt because I was going to be out of town. Fantastic experience: This is a great place. Everyone is kind and attentive and they make you feel at home. They know what they're doing. I've been coming here for a lot of years. I have my favorites who I always see, but everyone is really good! I just had a crown seated on an implant. It was done with the new digital scanning. Dr Tori was so good and explained everything to me. She attached and adjusted it so well that 24 hours later it feels like my natural tooth. She is great! Also Kristin(love her!), Jill and everyone on staff!

Negative experience: Our daughter went here for her orthodontics, and they recommended braces at 8 years old, which I thought was a little early, but I figured they knew what they were doing. They said she should have them off in about 18 months. 3 years later, she is now 11, and they told us they are ready to start phase 2 with her. We decided to get a second opinion as that seemed like a logical time to consult someone else since we were already irritated at the extended timeline and lack of attentiveness from the orthodontist. We went to a different orthodontist for a second opinion and continuation of care, and they were flabbergasted that she had braces for this long. They said that their phase 1 of treatment lasts a maximum of 1 year, and if it is taking longer than that, then they take them off and wait till more adult teeth are in. They also said that the braces she had on were doing nothing because she didn't have her 12-year molars in yet, so they ended up taking off the braces Preferred Family Dental had put on and told us they would see her again in a year once her 12-year molars came in. To say we were peeved is an understatement. I wish I could give Preferred Family Dental a 0-star review. We paid them $2K for braces that were way too early and unnecessary.

Fantastic experience: I am so glad that I found Preferred Family Dental when I moved back to the area. The staff is always courteous, polite, and professional. And the best part of it all is that they do everything possible to make it a pleasurable experience for you. In other words they try to alleviate as much pain as possible. They are awesome.

When I was called into work and had to redo my appointment, they we're very accommodating and helped me set up a new appointment. Overall, they are good team.

I am always nervous when I go to the dentist but they do everything to help make the experience more comfortable. The Dental Hygienist was thorough and kind and Helped me understand an issue with alkaline water and its effects on teeth. I know when I’m there I’m in very competent hands! Dr Tori is wonderful!

Fantastic experience: I went in for my new patient exam today and my experience was above and beyond my expectations! The five star treatment received is an understatement. My X-ray and visual exam showed I needed immediate attention and they took care of my issue right away same day same appointment. The dentist showed true concern and interest in a treatment plan to assist me with issues I’m experiencing. I’m usually afraid of dental work but I felt at ease here. I needed a tooth extraction, it was painless and quick my teeth are very hard to pull and usually require an oral surgeon due to my long strong roots but this dentist did amazing work! I am very happy! I’m on my way to get my prescriptions and get some much needed rest. Thank you for taking care of me so well today. I will be recommending you to all my friends and family. I will see you all soon for my cleaning. My dental plan and cost is very reasonable considering I haven’t met my deductible yet. Thank you again a million times!!!! Positive experience: Staff is nice, my wait was only 5 minutes, clean facility, and scheduling was not too far out. They seem pretty professional and knowledgeable. Definitely appreciate the continuous checks on my tolerance and comfortability. Updated: 2/27/25 I have visited this provider multiple times since the last review. My thoughts remain the same. I’m very pleased with Dr. Torre (I hope I spelled correctly) and her staff. Everyone has been friendly and professional. The facility is clean and clutter free. I really appreciate the wait or should I say “no wait” time. Which is important to me because I have to return to work after my visits. So time is important to me. Also they have a few payment options (simple process) when services can be a bit costly and you are not able to pay all at one time. Overall, I’m very pleased with my decision to switch to this office/provider.

Fantastic experience: Preferred Dental have real human beings that professionally sympathize and empathize with its patient’s concerns. Many businesses need Preferred Dental Staff to retrain employees so that harmony can remain in society. There’s nothing to substitute real human beings that truly understand we all need compassion to get us all through the nonsense we all witness from disregarding selfish characters who just don’t have a heart. Even the tin man eventually got a heart. I guess maybe we’ll have to have patience with the uncaring until they make their way to OZ IF YOU WILL. I just saw Preferred Dental 9001 N. Main street Dayton ohio ( today 2-11-2025) for a cleaning and received Excellent cleaning, great answers ti my questions about my teeth and Great Service. Preferred Dental are at the top of the list when it comes to being PROFESSIONALS.

Fantastic experience: I had a crown prep today by Dr Prectle and Brianna. It was a difficult tooth for them to work on but I am so happy with the outcome, so far. Dr Prectle worked hard to save the tooth and Brianna also worked diligently to get the crown made properly and to get the temporary to fit. He works with you and allows you to have input on what you want to do. I am so happy he saved the tooth and hope the crown fits well and I have a positive outcome. So far it’s been great. Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Preferred Family Dental for years. I have never had a bad experience. The receptionists are always friendly and give a great first impression of the care that you will receive. The hygienists are always thorough. They are genuinely concerned about your comfort level as well as the effectiveness of your cleaning. Today, I had Erica as my hygienist. She had a difficult time removing tarter from one of my back teeth, but instead of leaving it, she solicited help from Lindsey. Both of them were determined and did not quit until they were sure it was all gone. All the while, maintaining a light-hearted spirit and making sure I wasn't in any pain. Lindsey and Erica can work on me ANYTIME!

Fantastic experience: All the hygienists here are amazing at what they do. They go above and beyond what you’ll get at any other office during a cleaning. Because of this, I don’t ever want to go anywhere else for my family’s hygiene needs. The doctors are great too, as well as reception and billing. You can’t go wrong here. Fantastic experience: The staff are extremely kind, thorough, and friendly. They are always on time or early for appointments. You are asked frequently if you have any questions, and the staff works diligently to answer them or to rectify the situation. I have recommended several of my family members and friends, and PFD rewards referrals with a generous gift card. I stopped coming to my last dentist for quite a while since I have dentist phobia. PFD has welcomed me and made me feel comfortable, so now I attend all of my scheduled appointments. You can't do wrong with Preferred Family Dentists.

Fantastic experience: This has got to be the best experience I’ve EVER had at ANY dentist, and this was only my first visit. I have had so many issues with teeth and medications to get work done on my teeth. I called for a visit and they got me in as quick as they could with the discomfort I was having.... as I might have been able to guess wisdom teeth are wanting out but I’ve had a couple bad experiences and have been terrified. Ms Monica had made this such a good experience from the time she got me out of the waiting room from the time she walked me out. And for doctor hoss he had made me feel okay with getting the wisdom teeth out and ensured me I was in the best of hands. Thank you all around I’d refer anyone to come to this office. Negative experience: Very unprofessional and rude all around. The dentist was inexperienced and arrogant. In trying to establish care for an infected tooth, they expected me to come to multiple visits just to get a referral despite already doing the exam and X-rays. Now I have to go to another dentist to figure out which tooth was the problem because he couldn’t. Money down the drain!

Fantastic experience: I’ve always been so terrified to go to the dentist but this place is perfect for me. They all do a great job with handling my fear of the dentist and making me feel so much safer. I’ve had Autumn many times for more than one crown. Autumn walks you through what she’s doing, she listens if you’re feeling any discomfort, and she’s just all around amazing. I’m incredibly grateful for her and everyone else at Preferred Family Dental.

Fantastic experience: I had to have an emergency extraction and was in a lot of pain. Kiley got me scheduled for the very next morning. Can’t say enough about Dr. Prechtl. He was excellent and very easily and comfortably extracted the tooth. He was very patient with my dental anxiety and explained everything very thoroughly to me step-by-step. He is young but definitely experienced and knows what he’s doing! I would highly recommend him for any major dental issues like mine!

Positive experience: Erica is a great I always had a great experience with her! But there’s was a Problem with Patti, she rough I had the worse cleaning since I’ve been patient. I’ve never had this experience with a cleaning and with this office. Ive never left there with my teeth hurting from a cleaning! I wouldn’t go back to her but I will go back to the office because the other staff has always been so helpful and kind.

Fantastic experience: From the minute you walk in the door and are greeted by Jill, you feel important. I always enjoy a friendly smile and how are things going from Autumn. Bobbi is an amazing hygienist who is great at her job, but also personable. Although there has been a number of dentist turnovers, all of the dentists have been wonderful.

Fantastic experience: Patty cleaned my teeth, and gave me a thorough consult. She was exceptional. I was even given free whitening services and a free consultation on how to fix an issue that has plagued me for years. Prior to this, another dental office wanted to charge me $5000 to fix the same issue. I was shocked when Patty told me they can show me techniques that will fix the issue at no cost. I recommend this dental facility to anyone looking for quality dental care.

Fantastic experience: I've been receiving my dental care from Preferred Family Dental for about 3 years. They were always good, but they just keep getting better and better. I absolutely love the care team I currently have. Dr. Tori is awesome. The tech who works on fillings, Sherri, is an expert. My dental tech is also great. Sometimes it takes a while to get used to a place, and in this place it has taken a while because the people have changed a few times, and it didn't matter much to me, but now it does matter because I have a great Dental Care Team, and I can't say enough about Dr. Tori.
