Fantastic experience: Dr.Michael Stern is a great doctor. Amazing interpersonal skills, highly professional and very caring . He performed surgeries on three of my sons in the last 7 years. The staff and nurses are caring and efficient. Would highly recommend this group for any dental procedures.

Fantastic experience: It is one day post surgery and so far so good. We had an excellent experience!!! My teenage daughter had 4 wisdom teeth extracted. Everyone was great, from consultation to day of surgical procedure. We were well informed and knew exactly what to expect. I will go back here for my other child.

Fantastic experience: My mother was cared for by Dr. Tanchyk and her amiable staff. She needed to have the tooth extracted because it was infected. She made sure my mom was at ease during the entire stressful visit by guiding her through the entire process and explaining everything she was doing. Not only was Dr. Tanchyh outstanding, but the staff members who greet you at the office door were as well. I would give it an extra star if I could.

Fantastic experience: I had such anxiety going in but Dr. Amy Tanchyk is the best. She explained each thing she was doing. I think the whole procedure was 45 minutes from start to finish. Fantastic experience: Dr. Konstantin Simos, who extracted a root of my molar tooth, was excellent. I had no pain during and after extraction, and almost no pain after the numbness was gone and the extraction was done in no time. He is also very kind, considerate, and can put a patient at ease before the procedure. I called him a magician and he truly is at what he does.. He was recommended to me by Dr. Maya Prabhu and I can only thank her for that recommendation. I am now planning to schedule an appointment with Dr. Simos for an implant consultation. Fantastic experience: I visited Oral Surgery Group in East Brunswick for two urgent teeth extractions. My dentist referred me to them due to the excruciating pain I was having in my back molars that were super-erupted and needed to be removed. Currently, I’m 39 weeks pregnant and my dentist wanted me to remove them before I give birth to limit my pain when it comes time to give birth. Naturally, I was scared and nervous, and being so far into my pregnancy, I was even more anxious. I saw Dr. Prabhu who performed the procedure. Him and his assistants did the most to keep me informed throughout the whole process and as comfortable as possible. I was only allowed local anesthesia due to my pregnancy, so I was fully awake. It was my first time extracting teeth so I had no idea of the sensations that would occur that after the first tooth was removed I began to cry. They did the best in comforting me and making sure that I had a fully pain-free experience. I would definitely recommend their practice to family and friends.

Fantastic experience: Thank you very much, I was treated very well. I went there to have my wisdom tooth removed, which was hurting. They did it so well that I didn't even feel any pain. Now that I've had my tooth removed, I'm much better. I had my tooth removed on the 9th and from one day to the next I'm already eating. Thank you. Positive experience: Took me in, handled paperwork quickly, scan went fast and as predicted. Only issue I had was an aggressive push by an OSG staffer to get me scheduled for an implant surgery when they knew upfront that I and my personal dentist had to review scan results before making a final decision on which direction we will go in.

Fantastic experience: From the moment I walked in the door, it was a great experience. The receptionist was so pleasant and happy to check me in. The staff escorted me to the exam room and explained everything, then Dr. Stern came in, reviewed the work that I needed and was very clear & thorough. Afterwards I met Jen in finance and she was awesome. Reviewed everything and explained the process. Before I left Dr, Stern gave me a piece of ice cream cake! (They just sang happy birthday to one of the staff and offered me the last piece of cake) Such a pleasant experience dealing with everyone there.

Fantastic experience: My appointment in the East Brunswick office was near the end of the day and I ran late because of traffic. Yet everyone was very warm and welcoming when I arrived. I could see they were busy, but all staff, from the office staff to the clinical staff, was friendly and cheerful. Dr. Simos made sure to check that my mouth was numb enough before extracting my tooth. He was so gentle that I didn't even feel pressure in my jaw as he pulled out the teeth. My recovery was smooth due to the great instructions they provided. I highly recommend this office, especially Dr. Simos.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Symos is an excellent practitioner if you are looking at having an implant. He is thorough, double checking any medications I was on and any allergies; he is quick but more than competent, and checked in with me regarding my comfort throughout the procedure.

My molar extraction and an implant for a front tooth both were done by Dr. Prabhu, and I'm very happy with his work and my experience there. The staff assisting him during the surgery are superb and attentive. All the office's helpful and kind staff do their part to help me have a good experience. I feel not just comfortable because they do great work, but well taken care of in all phases of the procedures. Fantastic experience: I worked with Dr. Prabhu and his team for a tooth extraction and bone grafting procedure in August 2025. I have an extreme fear of the dentist, and this oral surgery had me very nervous, and with very elevated vitals. This is something that I put off for 14 months due to fear and anxiety. Dr. Prabhu helped calm my nerves leading into the procedure. They made me feel comfortable every step of the way. The procedure went very smoothly, and took even less time than expected. I experienced no pain or discomfort after the procedure. I highly recommend Oral Surgery Group of East Brunswick, specifically Dr. Prabhu and his team. If you are someone with high anxiety and fear of the dentist, this is definitely the team for you. I would give more than 5 stars if possible. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I recently had an extraction and subsequently a procedure for my first implant ever with Dr Richard Stern. First, let me say he is the consummate professional! Very meticulous and methodical and makes even the most complicated procedures seem easy. Additionally, he is kind and caring and puts you at ease immediately. He listens to all of your questions intently and is very responsive to any and all concerns you may have as a patient. You know you're in the best of hands with Dr Stern right from the get go, and it instills a feeling of confidence and dispells any hesitation you might have about your dental procedure. I had little to no pain with my implant and healed very quickly, and prior to that he very adeptly removed the fractured first molar that I unfortunately had. I feel so grateful my prosthodonist, Dr Ira Rosen who is also outstanding, recommended him! I have to also say each and every person in the office is really wonderful and gives you personalized care when you are there or whenever you need to call with a question or concern. It's a very special office and I wholeheartedly recommend this practice to anybody who has any oral surgery needs! You just don't find offices like this with the level of care and expertise they have!

I wasn't even aware when the procedure had been completed. The oral surgery group did an excellent job, and they will be my go to referral.

Fantastic experience: As a part of the procedures for dental implant, Dr. Stern extracted four teeth from my mouth. Before the surgery, he explained the procedure to me clearly, and the surgery itself went very well. I never felt pain, even after the effects of anesthetics were gone, and my bleeding stopped within 24 hours. The day after, I received a call from their office, asking me how do I feel. I am really happy with everything so far.

The facilities are great - loved the dental X-ray machine they use (vs. what is often a painful process at regular dentist offices), the doctor (Dr. Rohan Prabhu) and the nurses were very courteous, informative and professional. Fantastic experience: I have been under the excellent care of Dr. Philip Engel at the Oral Surgery Group at his East Brunswick office for a few months now. His pleasant manner and surgical skills put me at ease as I underwent tooth extractions and dental bone grafts. He has listened to my concerns and questions, and he has provided answers that I need. I found the ambience of the office relaxing. The staff, at the front desk, the dental assistants, and the nurse, at the end of the visit, also put me at ease.

Fantastic experience: This place has figured out how to balance efficiency with compassion. Friendly, on time, and they never shamed me for being afraid or in pain. They offered pain relief without implying I was a wimp or an addict. I can’t recommend them enough. The difference between this place and the last oral surgeon I tried is night and day. I know it doesn’t have to be that way now and I’m never accepting less than this level of care again. Dr Tanchyk was my surgeon and her staff were right on it too - everyone down to the receptionist was friendly and efficient.

Fantastic experience: Had a wisdom tooth pulled and gotta say, from start to finish was a pleasure... never thought I would say that about getting a tooth pulled... but, didn't feel a thing!!! The office was super clean and everyone was polite and compassionate...

Negative experience: Highly surprised by this experience, have had mostly positive experiences in the past. After a simple extraction, a specific provider (rohan prabhu) used a water syringe way too soon--which gave me a dry socket. Then he prescribed an antibiotic (which, in many medical circles, is completely avoided because of this very reason) that directly contradicts ADA guidelines, and as a result, I developed a serious, gut-wrenching intestinal infection that could've been completely avoided. When I called to ask for an explanation, scared and in pain, his response? "I sense your doubt, so you can submit a medical review if you think I did something wrong." Negligent, arrogant, and clearly not up-to-date on safe practices. I regret ever walking into that office. I have developed more issues than i started with as a result.

Fantastic experience: I just visited Dr.Engel for consulting about implant surgery for one of my molar tooth. Dr.Engel was very nice and gave me detailed explanation. I'm pretty sure that my implant surgery will be successful for I trust him so much.

Negative experience: Very disappointing. I explained I had Deltal dental and gave all info to Heidi she said they would electronically run it through. She contacted me later to tell me, after reviewing my benefits saying I had a year waiting period, I told her that Delta dental waived that and they needed to send my info asap because I was scheduled for surgery shortly she assured me it would be sent that day. 2 weeks later I contacted my insurance and they told me nothing was sent! I tried calling Heidi a few times and no return calls. My feeling is they don’t like dealing with my insurance or for that matter people with insurance they only want ones that pay full price for services. This whole process has been a waste of my time. Highly unprofessional group!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Simos is an excellent dentist whom I trust with oral surgery for myself n 3 of my children. Most recently, my daughter was in need of 4 wisdom teeth removal and Dr. Simos took the time to explain each step, made my daughter feel comfortable to go through this tough procedure and now road to a quick recovery.. I highly recommend Dr. Simos and his staff if you r in need of removal of your wisdom teeth. Their recovery room makes it easier for a patient to sit back and wait until he or she is ready to go home with their designated driver! The nurse explained after care. I received a follow care call in the evening and following day! I am satisfied with their services all around! Thank you Dr. Simos for taking care of my daughter, my other children few years back, and myself 20 plus years ago!

Fantastic experience: Staff (5/5): My 17 year old daughter had a consultation and then a scheduled surgery to have three of her four wisdom teeth removed. The doctor was excellent and then when we needed follow up two weeks later because her mouth wasn't completely healed, they responded to our on-call phone call and she was seen the next morning. Surgery (5/5): My daughter thought they did a great job and was confident in their skills and would recommend them again. Office Space (5/5): The space feels news, crash, open and clean. It was such a nice place to come for a surgery.

Fantastic experience: Consltently outstanding. Had an extraction yesterday and also a few weeks ago and both times the oral surgeon and their group did a great job and following their instructions, with virtually no pain eithet during or after.

Doctor knew his stuff and had no problems explaining everything I asked and tnen some only they didn’t ask if I was getting implants when I got my teeth pulled but never the less the were very good at the job . Fantastic experience: I went in to have 4 impacted wisdom teeth removed this morning. I was pretty nervous but Dr. Tanchyk did a great job calming my nerves. As soon as she added the nitrous on my nose and sedated me. Next thing you know I was out like a light. All the doctors I’ve meet have been so kind. Thank you guys
