Fantastic experience: I had my regular six months cleaning and check up today. The dental hygienist as always was very good with the cleaning and polishing. I also had x-rays made. I am closing in on 30 some years with the same technician.

Taylor was very thorough cleaning my teeth (and reiterating the importance of daily flossing), and the use of modern dental tools such as Waterpik and Soft-Picks to keep my mouth free of bacteria. I had a problem today as food keeps getting stuck around my new crown. Dr. Butcher gave me a filling to resolve this issue … and I didn’t suffer much at all. I appreciate Spartanburg Dental.

They treated my son with respect, allowed him to explain a concern he had, listened, and offered a few options. Answered all our questions and complimented his good oral hygiene - which is always an encouragement to continue great practices. He enjoyed the experience. Fantastic experience: My Mom who suffers from Alzheimer’s has dentures since she was 16. A couple of years back I took her to a dentist that created a new top set for her and she could never wear them they hurt too much and they said there was nothing they could do bc her gums were so degraded, so when her top set was broken by accident I panicked, super glued them back together and looked for a new dentist. I found Spartanburg Dental Assoc. From the time I walked into the office, Melissa assured me they understood and felt confident insurance would pick up the cost. Then Julia and Dr. Moore made me feel comfortable as they listened to my concerns and worked out how to model Mom’s current set without taking them from her. Yesterday after 5 visits Mom got the new dentures and much to my surprise she wanted to wear them to get dinner. She hasn’t complained once about them being uncomfortable. Thanks isn’t enough but it’s the best I’ve got. Great office, amazing staff. Honorable mention to Taylor who always took a second to say hello to me by name when we visited. Caregiving can be hard and the little kindnesses count!

Fantastic experience: My resent visit was very positive. Well mostly…I was told I needed a crown .. That wasn’t super positive for me. But the visit was the best I’ve experienced. Dr. Butcher showed me pictures of my mouth and discussed options and schedules. He listened to my concerns and allowed me to make the best decision for my health. The staff has and yet maintains the same professionalism and consistency of courtesy, caring and great care. The Facility is Clean and inviting, the appearance is as I remember it when they open in brand new 2009. I love this Group so much that when I move out of the State I will travel back for my Dental Care. Just want to add that I moved to Kentucky last year and traveled today 10/15/2024 for the service of excellence from this awesome facility.

Fantastic experience: July 2025: Today was my 2nd time going to Spartanburg Dental Associates since moving here, and it was for my routine 6 months cleaning. What a fantastic feeling knowing 2nd visit validated my initial review and experience. Dental hygienist, Kim, and Dr Charles Moore are professional with personalities that make you feel comfortable. If it wasn’t for Google Reviews when moving here and deciding whom to go to, I never would’ve found this office as they had received many pleased excellent reviews from clients. Best decision I made! January 2025: When I knew I was moving to SC last spring, I googled and read reviews on many dental practices that would be near my home. This office had many incredible reviews about the dental hygienist, Kim, and lots of positive reviews on the dentists. From the moment I walked in for my 1st appt today, Kim made me feel instantly at ease. She really is a highly experienced skilled professional hygienist with a spectacular personality, too. I’m very pleased with Dr. Charles Moore. Prior to my move, I’d been with same dentist for 37 years so it can be scary beginning with new dental practices; this was a truly best decision, and it happened based on reviews I’d had googled! It’s fantastic knowing and having a dentist and hygienist in my new home town.

The hygienists are consistently thorough, professional, and genuinely focused on patient comfort. Dr. Andy, who has been my dentist for well over 15 years, is exceptionally dedicated to his work. He and his entire staff are consistently friendly, informative, and efficient.

Fantastic experience: May 16 - today’s dental visit with 2 extractions & filling was done professionally & excellently by the dentist and helper. No pain, done quickly with care and clear explanations through the visit. Follow up care is planned with bridge work next month. Always a pleasure with visits at Spartanburg Dental Associates.

Positive experience: Wish I had opted for an implant instead of bridge. Such a long 4 hours in office, and so much jaw pain afterwords, and then a “temporary” gap on top of my faux tooth for food to rot. Now there’s no room to floss on either end of bridge. Make sure you have great insurance and Care Credit, because I still owe $1600+ after FEDVIP pays. I think they should have awarded me with a Water Pick after all that!

Negative experience: I have been going here for over 4 months now for a new upper full denture and a partial on the bottom. It has been one problem after another, none of which were my fault. I am still without my dentures and I am very upset over this. The doctor told me today that he had never had to go this long making the dentures for a patient before. I feel that priority has not been set for this ongoing issue. I have had three other dentists in my lifetime and I have never run into any problems getting the proper fit dentures in a timely manner. I left a very upset patient again today.

Wendy and Melissa took care of scheduling, sending follow appointment invites taking the work out of even putting the time on my calendar. Billing was complete with all the details and service/transaction codes. Alexis, the dental hygienist keeps you informed during her cleaning of what she is doing to provide your care. Again great first experience with this office and loved the "comfy" chair plus the lovely outdoor view. Dr. Butcher rechecked my teeth and made follow up suggestions. This office was recommended by a friend and my only regret is my husband and I did not come here sooner.

Local analgesia administered painlessly by dental assistant and imaging performed to make precise measurements to ensure accurate construction of new crown. Dr Andy Butcher makes patient feel at ease and is highly skilled in all his dental procedures . I was in and out of the office with 3 D printed new tooth with perfect bite in under 2 hours. I highly recommend Dr Butcher and his staff for all your dental care.

Fantastic experience: I had a wisdom tooth extracted today. I was very surprised at how little I felt it. They did a great job! I won’t be so nervous next time. Oh yes, that was my last wisdom tooth to be extracted. But if I did have another one, I would not hesitate to go back to them!

Fantastic experience: Spartanburg Dental has been my go-to since moving to River Run from New Jersey a few years ago. Visits have been twice a year with in-betweens as needed. Staff are welcoming and friendly. The waiting room is attractive, with a variety of seating options which I find a big plus.
