Fantastic experience: I chipped a tooth during the holidays. Even though they were very busy the day after New Years, The Yuma Dentist was able to take me as a walk in and took care of my dental needs. The staff was great.

Negative experience: This was my first time at this dentist. It was underwhelming. The assistants were friendly but very rushed. I don’t believe anyone made eye contact with me. I felt like I was not listened to. I felt like I was being pressured into doing something I did not want to do. The dentist rushed in to look at my teeth, and immediately told me what he was going to do, no one asked me what I wanted to do! I won’t be returning and will go to Mexico for treatment.

We had an appointment authorization issue but it was resolved quickly and haven’t had an issue since. I recommend this office to anyone looking for great dental services.

So Let me be the one to tell you Here and Now... ️ The Yuma Dentist located on Pacific and in the Foothills are the only exception to the Rule.... Every visit has been a delight the staff is Beyond Friendly Always Greeting you with a Smile making you feel like a friend. And then there's The Dentist always making sure that his patients are in the least pain possible. Genuinely feels bad when one of us cry out & shed tears . I've had nothing but wonderful experiences during the worst pain and I always go home with a smile.. I Recommend to all my Friends & Family...... Negative experience: I was very disappointed with my experience during my recent appointment with Dr. Mann. After waiting over 30 minutes—and having my appointment canceled ( due to Machinery problems, they called right when I pulled in to the parking lot) rescheduled that same day— Dr Mann never even introduced himself when he walked in, and he spent barely two minutes with me. When I asked him about removal of my amalgams for health purposes, his response felt condescending and dismissive but said" I can remove them if it makes you feel better." He seemed rushed from the moment he entered the room and was already walking out the door while I was trying to ask him a question. During the initial exam, he barely looked in my mouth. As he was leaving, I mentioned my concern about my receding gum lines, so he briefly glanced again—perhaps for three seconds—and said, “They’re fine, they look better than mine,” before walking out once more. I asked the assistant if he typically spends so little time with new patients, and she admitted that he was very busy and didn’t like having consultations scheduled on certain days. I responded that after waiting half an hour, not to mention getting canceled and rescheduled, I felt it was unacceptable that he couldn’t devote more than two minutes to my visit. She agreed it was a very short consultation. Additionally, I was told in advance that this would be a free consultation. However, upon arrival, the technician insisted that x-rays were required. I explained that I had recent x-rays from my previous dentist and was only there for a consultation. She continued to pressure me, saying these would just be “spot checks” of the specific teeth I was concerned about and that insurance would cover them. I reluctantly agreed. Moments later, she instructed me to follow her, and before I realized it, they had completed a full panoramic x-ray scan. When I asked why that was done against my request, she simply said, “The doctor wanted a full scan.” It felt like an unnecessary upsell—another way to bill for more services. Needless to say, after a not-so-free consultation and needless X-rays and radiation, I will not be returning to this office!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely the best dental experts in the greater Yuma County. Even out through Southern California, I have yet to find an equally skilled Dental practice. And moving from San Diego County to Imperial County to Yuma County, I have definitely done research into the numerous options. The Yuma Dentist beats them all, hands down.

Fantastic experience: Today was my first visit with this office at the recommendation of the VA. From the receptionist to the dentist everyone was extremely courteous and professional. Everyone made me feel welcome and the office was very clean and organized. Update: Had a deep cleaning yesterday. I was extremely nervous as its been a long time. The hygienist was very kind and did an excellent job with no pain at all.

Fantastic experience: Excellent staff, excellent facility and excellent dental service. I’ve been going here for about a year and I always feel so welcomed and well taken care of. They ended up identifying two infections that have gone unnoticed by other dentist offices over the last few years. The infection on one side had spread into my bone. Thankfully, I am on the mend and feeling so much better. I highly recommend this place. They work with VA dental too!

Fantastic experience: I only went in for X-rays/an initial consultation to develop a treatment plan and was very pleased. I haven’t been to a dentist in over 10yrs and everyone made me feel so comfortable, from the dentist, dental hygienist (Tara I think was her name ) her assistant to the medical assistants up front, everyone was very welcoming. The dental hygienist and her assistant are really the ones who made me feel so comfortable and the main reason my experience was amazing. I was a little concerned about pricing and the receptionist was kind enough to highlight my expected costs should I go back for treatment, which I plan on.

Fantastic experience: Called around 1pm to see if I could have my wife's tooth looked at sometime next week and to my surprise they were able to get us in at 2:30. Was able to text the office my insurance information and everything that was needed to ensure they were in network. We arrived and were greeted by the friendliest staff! The service was amazing and the techs and dentist were some of the best and friendliest group of people we have ever met. They gave us the list of pricing and tons of options as far as getting the tooth taken care of today. It was a great visit and my wife is doing so much better. We are so appreciative of their staff and support from our visit today. We would highly recommend this group to everyone in the area.

Fantastic experience: I had an absolutely marvelous experience on Tuesday! The staff I interacted with today--front desk personnel...the assistant who took my x-rays and cleaned my teeth...the assistant (Tonya?) who did the scaling and root planing was AWESOME...and the dentist--were all wonderful. I wish I could remember the person's name at the front desk. She truly made me feel welcome there. The interaction experienced from the moment I walked in...to the completion of paperwork...through closing me out for the day were all joyful/more than simply pleasant. She had a great smile that reached her eyes! She just made me feel good by being there. Beautiful soul. The two assistants were each sensational. However, I must extend extra "kudos" to Tonya (believe that was her name). Before she and I even came face to face, she had me laughing. I'd forgotten to turn my phone off and don't ya know it rang while the other assistant was taking x-rays. My ringer is Heart's "These Dreams" song...Ann Wilson is belting out the lyrics, and Tonya and I have our little moment. How awesome is that! We're like sisters after that...LOL. Plus, I felt NO pain throughout the root planing and scaling process. I say again, "NO pain." At my previous dentist, there was always pain, especially with my two centered, bottom teeth......to the point where they would need to numb that area some for me. So, mega kudos to you, Tonya! Before I close, the dentist was pleasant, too. Plus, he spoke well of both assistants. Nice to see; nice to actively hear him express his appreciation for those that make him "look good." You are in good hands with all those who come before you. Awesome staff/team all the way around! I look forward to my return in October.

Fantastic experience: Dr.Mann is the most caring, and professional Dentist I've ever known. For those fearful of a dental visit, Dr Mann has a very calming manner. His office staff is great and the Dental Assistants and Hygiensts are top notch. The office is very pleasing with its beautiful paintings giving the office an almost Spa like feeling. Fantastic experience: Great people and great dentist. Dr Mann was gentle and my procedure was done with minimal pain (I mean really, when has a filling or extraction ever been pain free?). I had a front crown break off on a Wednesday evening and after calling various practices found they had an opening 2 days later. Highly recommend this clinic.

Fantastic experience: I was a walk-in that had a broken tooth that became infected with an abscess and was becoming quite painful. Reception was courteous and kind. They got me into a treatment room fairly quickly. A few ex-rays later and the doctor came in. He extracted the bad tooth and I was on my way soon after with Prescriptions in hand for antibiotics and pain killers. I would recommend this dental clinic to anyone that needs dental work.

Fantastic experience: I had the best experience today with the Yuma Dentist Office. Everyone was extremely professional, nice and helpful. They even called me before my appointment to let me know that they were running late and needed to set my appointment for a half hour later so I didn’t have to sit in the office waiting. When I got there I got called back for my ex rays and into the a room almost immediately. The dentist was with me within 5 minutes and got me set up for dentures. The technician did my impressions and had me ready to go within 20 minutes. All in all I was only there for about half an hour. I am very confident that I will be much happier with the dentures from them, then my original set.

Negative experience: In my extensive experience with dental care both in the U.S. and abroad, I have always received excellent treatment. Unfortunately, I had a negative experience with The Yuma Dentist, specifically with Doctor Maan. I strongly advise against choosing this dentist. The practitioner handles all procedures across various specialties, which is concerning as no single dentist can effectively cover all specialties simultaneously. My 22-year-old son visited this dentist for what was supposed to be a simple filling. However, the dentist incorrectly treated a small cavity in his molar, leading to a failed filling. Instead of addressing the issue appropriately, the dentist temporarily patched it with a porous material, causing infection due to bacterial infiltration. Eventually, my son required a root canal due to the negligence of this dentist. Despite the offer for a free root canal, we opted to seek treatment elsewhere. This dentist billed my insurance for a composite filling when instead, he used that putty to patch the molar. It saddens me that my son’s perfect occlusion is now ruined because he now has a root canal and a crown on a very important molar. This may eventually lead to an implant, as my son is only 22.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at The Yuma Dentist. Unfortunately I need to have my remaining teeth removed and I chose to get implants. Dr. Mann and his staff took great care of me through the whole consultation. I look forward to seeing the finished product. I will be charged half as much as other places in town for my procedures.

Fantastic experience: I went in yesterday to have a tooth pulled, was terrified and it showed. My Dental tech was the nicest person and so kind and understanding. I can’t believe I forgot her name. I’m so sorry. The two guys that came in and fitted me for my partial were so nice. We actually laughed a lot. My Dentist was very kind to. And the price of my work I got done and will be getting done was so reasonable . I can’t recommend this group of people enough!! If your a big chicken like me, this is the place to go!

Negative experience: I am giving a one star for the staff, they’re kind , an great .I wish I can have separate reviews for the staff and the Dental work , you don’t have to be an expert to be able to realize this is wrong . My filing is rough and bumpy the doctor is always in a rush , I complain he will always said it’s normal and will change with time . Not going back ever

Fantastic experience: I went in this morning with pain from a bad wisdom tooth that needed to be pulled. I’m 20 weeks pregnant and all of the staff were very understanding. I was a walk-in new patient without insurance. They were able to take care of me right away and offer a payment plan. No pain during extraction and the doctor walked me through the procedure. Took only a few moments to extract tooth. I feel so much better.

Fantastic experience: Both my Marine husband and myself have had service given to us by Yuma Dentist, at Pacific and at the Foothill office. Our experience with them have always been on a professional level very compassionate in making sure we do not feel any pain before starting a procedure, filling a cavity or a crown. They have always worked with our schedule and have offered good competitive prices for me, a non Veteran.

Negative experience: Terrible. Gave them multiple chances. Spent thousands of dollars. My teeth are worse than before. These reviews must be fake, because if they are for Dr. Mann, I wanna know what these happy folks are getting that I haven’t gotten in the three visits that have destroyed my entire bottom row of front teeth and have damaged my top teeth due to the ridiculously ugly shotty work. Stay far away from this place and Dr. Mann. Can’t believe he sleeps at night after charging to do this to people.

Fantastic experience: Was a walk-in due to a tooth infection that was swelling up my face and causing me sooo much pain and the pressure in my jaw was unbearable. They quite possibly saved my life. They were all so nice and they started working on it right away. I felt nothing during the root canals! I’ve been afraid of going to the dentist due to the pain I had gone through 12 years ago and all the times before that. I’m so very glad to have chosen this office for this. Highly recommend them for getting your work done and I can’t wait to go back in to finish up.

Fantastic experience: This was my first time visiting Dr Mann. I had an abscess and was concerned the infection may spread if not attended to quickly. I was able to wait without an appointment to be seen. The wait wasn’t very long and I chose to have my tooth pulled rather than endure a root canal. He was able to numb me up and pull the tooth amazingly quickly. It is now healing up very nicely. Thank you so much, Dr. Mann!!

Fantastic experience: This place is great! I was running late and they took me directly back. Had me and my two kids (4 & 7) booked back to back. They got us all taken care of quickly. They didn’t send me home and tell me I need to make an appointment they actually did my root canal today. Everyone that works at the office is absolutely amazing and Wonderful. I was so nervous and scared and the denist helped me stay calm you can tell he really does care about his patients. I would recommend this practice to anyone looking for a denist.

Positive experience: At 72 years old with no dental insurance and on Medicare I find it cheesy on your part that you can't afford to give me a $35 fluoride treatment included in my $114 Dental exam cleaning. I'm sure you make a good profit on the patients that do have dental insurance and can afford it .I cannot. I have been with your practice for over 10 years what do I get for allegiance to your practice..NO CONSIDERATION!

Fantastic experience: all the staff were very friendly and helpful to include the Dr i would definitely recommend this place with others just amazing as I had a bad tooth and the Dr pulled it. awesome the next day very minor issues if any. Thanks for the great job.

Fantastic experience: Best experience I've ever had at a dental office. Everyone was friendly and professional. My cleaning and x-rays were done in a timely manner. The hygienist was excellent. The dentist listened to my concerns regarding my teeth. The assistant did. A great job too! So glad I found this dental practice!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend The Yuma Dentist! Dr. Mann and all of the staff were so kind! I was a walk-in and was told it would be a really long wait. I waited about 10 minutes. They took me back, did x-rays, a root canal and an extraction in 2 1/2 hrs. Most of that time was waiting to get numbed up. Then I was on my way out the door!

Fantastic experience: Very nice staff and the doctor dentist was Fantastic and very personable! He was painless and was very polite. I would send my whole family to him including my grandparents! ! I was very satisfied with what the doctor told me!! I seen a lot of nasty n rude dentists before him. And I absolutely love the staff and the Yuma Dentist. Best personable people I have ever met!! And I can't wait for my next appointment!!! My insurance won't work with this dentist so I have to find a new one again in Yuma.

Fantastic experience: The staff are very personable and give you a comfortable feeling. It really helps that they are very professional and know what they are doing.. I did think it took a long time at the outside lab which they really have no control of the lab. I am very pleased with the work I had done. Also the office is very clean. I was assured if I had concerns or pain to call and I would be seen right away. I will recommend them.
