Partnership Health Center is a non-profit Federally Qualified Health Center which provides medical, dental, and behavioral health care along with a full-service pharmacy in our main clinic on W Railroad Street. We have multiple different locations across Missoula County to enhance your access to care, and nobody will be turned away due to inability to pay. All are welcome at PHC.

Negative experience: I don't know how you are all putting good reviews for this place. You must not really need your doctors. I am a quadriplegic and I can't get them to write prescriptions that I have been in for for multiple appointments, can't even turn in forms that need to be signed just simply verifying that I am disabled. Not very accommodating for the simplest tasks. I am very least hey your primary physician should be able to fill your prescriptions and sign paperwork on time. Definitely switching doctors. Extremely rude medical staff. I haven't even seen my actual doctor.

Negative experience: Dental department is a total disaster. I had to move my appointment up due to having pain. They called me to cancel saying the provider wasnt in and they wanted to reschedule for next month then went i told them I was I pain they gave me an appointment for the next day at the food bank the staff was very kind but the dentist was lacking. In the previous appointment they told me that I had 11 cavities. I went to get a second opinion he told me that I had 4 cavities 3 of which were already filled and had composite that was sharp and some that was flakey on my teeth where partnership had done them. Needless to say I will not be coming back!

Negative experience: I have been going to Partnership for many years. My doctor is great and the staff is always polite and professional. I am updating my review. After my original doctor moved out of state I was assigned a new doctor. The doctor is very kind and professional, however I cannot get in to see her for months. As an established patient for years I should be able to see my doctor in a timely manner when I have an issue.

Negative experience: I want to be clear that the 2 star rating is for the general office and billing department (and kind of the psych department), I have had great compassionate care from everyone I have seen on the medical side. I've been bounced around to different doctors over the years and have always felt taken care of by them. Billing, on the other hand. They are honestly just unacceptably incompetent. You switched to a new "system" this spring, (months ago at this point in October), it seems you gave your employees absolutely no Training on the switchover because I have called about payment plan questions/issues FIVE times in the last few months, and every single time I get hit with a straight up "I don't know" from your billing department. About their own system. I'm not asking for the world here, I got an email about my payment plan on the old system getting canceled or something, it was very confusing. Not one single person at the office or on the phone with billing could tell me literally anything about that email. We must have gone thru 4 different levels of people asking about it. They had no clue what I was talking about. It literally came from the billing department. They couldn't show me any record of my old system account, but assured me that I would keep getting the gigantic paper bills and my payment plan was still active, even though I have no access to any details about it or a way to change it or anything "because it's the old system, i don't know what to tell you". Jump to today, I had to get a new credit card, so the payment plan on the old system needs updating because it will fail if it tries to charge that card, and I need the plan to stay active. I called billing and explained the situation, the lady said once again, "I don't know how to do that, you might just have to call us every month and do it over the phone." What year is it??? You've been on this new system for MONTHS. How can you possibly still be this unable to do things? Updating a payment method should NOT be difficult. Getting a straight answer about a bill should NOT be difficult. She then updated the WRONG account, only the new system payment plan. The old one is still set to the old card. So my problem that should be incredibly simple is still not fixed. Not to mention the fact that I now have to have TWO payment plans because you couldn't combine the two "systems" so that my new bills would just add to the old one on a payment plan. So I'm now paying double what I was before, AND now every time I call to make an appt or check in for an appt you kind of rudely bug me about the bill. You shouldn't be pressuring people already on a payment plan, to make extra payments every single time you speak with them. This is supposed to be the clinic low income folks can rely on. If I could afford to pay off my bill and change clinics I would in a heartbeat. Alas, this is American healthcare and I am stuck. Please do better and actually train billing how to do their jobs.

Negative experience: They were great when they had doctors I was able to get my baby seen. Now a few days before his 18 month appointment got told to reschedule because his doctor quit. when I call to reschedule I have to wait almost a month! when before I could get him in within a few days normally! Negative experience: I have reached the conclusion that there are SO MANY BARRICADES to health that it's way less stressful to just DIE. THANKS FOR NOTHINGthere's no healthcare. You spend 4 hours out of your day for a 15 min appointment in which literally nothing gets done. You have to check in 30 minutes prior but they're NEVER on time. Then you go into a room and wait another half hour and then the doctor rushes in and spends your time telling you that they're busy so they can only do so much so make another appointment. I feel like a hamster in a wheel. My health issues are literally stacking up and I told my Dr that MONTHS ago and not one health issue has been addressed. They ordered my ultrasound for the lump in my breast but they didn't order it right so the hospital cancelled it and it could possibly be cancer and is supposed to be monitored so they can decide if they need to do a biopsy. No biggie. The number of serious mistakes that have been made here, would be unacceptable as a RN at St Pat's. Any Nurse would be fired for making that many med errors. It's a constant micromanaging of my health care team. The new system SUCKS!

Negative experience: Would give zero stars of if I could for the dental clinic. If you want to be seen for urgent care good luck because even the supervisor said they don’t actually have urgent care availability it’s only if “for some reason” a regular appointment slot happened to not have been filled. Going on 5 days in severe pain now, wasted a 45 min drive into town with a newborn, to be told we can put you on a waitlist if someone “happens to cancel” I even had a conversation with the supervisor which got nowhere cause she even sounded like she doesn’t care which makes me think just how much care is there for the patients then? Please don’t waste your time because more than likely you’re not getting in anyways and will be told to try again the next day and the next day and the next day if you still can’t be seen.

Negative experience: Two months minimum wait time to see my doctor that has been seeing me for around the last fifteen years is a embarrassment to the oath. Rude waiting room and intake staff. I was just embarrassed to be harassed by it at the front and have never never received a return call after leaving several messages.

Negative experience: My very honest review for Partnership Health Center in Missoula Montana. "For the 15yrs I was going to this clinic, I'd say those two stars were only because the medical/primary care clinic was, for the most part, good to me, and very helpful with discovering certain health issues, and maintaining some others. The behavioral health, and dental staff were lacking in their respective fields, and should've probably kept up with further education, even after graduation. Let's just say, their thirst for customer service and receiving a fairly uncomplicated wage, was stronger than their hunger for knowledge and service to their community. Before separating with my narcissistic and avoidant attached ex of 11 yrs, not only 1, but 2 therapists there didn't catch on to his manipulation, emotional immaturity, and avoidant attachment style, but they were more than willing to bring up my diagnoses, only to insinuate that I was the entire problem. The first family therapist left the clinic, and the 2nd I refused to see anymore after I got fed up. We had to find a therapist outside of the clinic to get examined and diagnosed properly. The dental crew... First of all, they wouldn't do fillings on my wisdom teeth, because they recommended getting them removed. Even after I said I didn't want to, they STILL didn't do fillings, OR cleaned them properly whenever I'd come in for dental cleanings. Their reasoning? "they suggested getting them removed anyway" even after I tried telling them if I didn't have to, I didn't want to, they insisted "oh, eventually you'll have to, because they won't fit right". Last week, I had to get a wisdom tooth removed in an emergency extraction, in an entirely different state, because YOUR dentists refused to clean, OR fill them properly, so now, they're rotting in my head. I HAVE EDS, which makes this whole experience even worse. If you don't know what EDS is, google that with "dental fragility" and you'll see how important it is that my teeth are taken care of correctly. Not only were my wisdom teeth neglected, but now my fillings are chipping away, like some sort of bad nightmare. I wasn't informed that certain types of fillings, like "white" fillings, which are the ones I have, can sometimes only last 5-7 years. It's been about 6 years since, and now all the teeth I got work done on, are chipping and falling apart. You're lucky the universe humbled me with being poor, and disabled, in a country that abandons their sick, or I'd be doing something much different, than just writing a bad review about this place. Count your lucky stars I can't afford to sue you, like the majority of your patients."

Negative experience: I was with the same dr for 15 years at partnership and I finally got tired of not being taking care of properly. I have been suffering from painful debilitating periods since 2012 and literally begging my dr there to help me and it was always Im working on it go do this test go see this specialist and nothing so I switched dr after 15 years and within the 1st visit my new got got me my breast exam a full hysterectomy and to see a dermatologist im very sad to say that there is a big reason partnership is going down the tube even basic patient care is crap also don't ever go to the mental health department there if they don't like you they give you a sticky note to somewhere else and they are very judgmental of your feelings I did have a good experience in the dentel department thanks for reading this review.

Fantastic experience: Ive been going to this clinic since I first moved back to Montana in 2016 and they have always been wonderful. The staff go above and beyond for every single one of their patients starting from front desk all the way up to the docters and specialized staff. They are compassionate and kind and are always trying to help out in any way they can. This is a very small example since its my public profile and im not keen on sharing the more intimate situations they have helped me with, but something I really appreciate is if Medicaid won't pay for something they prescribed, they work diligently to find some alternative that they will pay for. This is the best hospital in Missoula and at least 3 states, and I can say that for sure because before moving here I wouldnt stay in one place longer than a year max, trust me on this one. One stop shop for all your Healthcare needs. Need an emergency dental appointment for tooth pain? Look no further than the second floor. Need your prescriptions filled because you're a busy bee and cant fit another stop into your day? Bottom floor. In a bind and need to find local resources to help you out? Because we all know life can get a little bumpy sometimes. Social work and Psychiatric services are on the way like superman. I really dont lament this much about a place, so do yourself a favor and check it out. Disability and LGBTQ+ friendly. It doesnt get better than this.

Negative experience: Pros: Everyone is kind. Cons: The dental practice is a nightmare to deal with - 1. You can't schedule regular cleanings/annual checkups more than ~1 month out, and their reminder system is awful so you are responsible to setting calendar reminders for yourself to check back in (and sometimes repeatedly check back in) to schedule an appointment. 2. When you show up for your appointment there is confusion from staff about what you're there for - I was once scheduled for an exam and a cleaning, and I had to remind them of the cleaning after they were ready to send me home after the x-rays. 3. Each time you go you see a different doctor and it's impossible to maintain any sort of medical relationship. 4. I had to call 3x over 3 weeks to get a prescription refilled, and when they finally did they a) didn't notify me and b) sent it to a pharmacy I have never used before. 10/10 do not recommend.

Negative experience: I was mislead 3 days in a row for needed form so I could get a job. Form needed was a exemption form for covid-19 vaccination so I could get a job I went to facility 3 days in a row to get this form and was told dr. CHARELS would get me form after 2 patients had me wait in waiting room 2 hrs then told me He couldn't fill out or do form needed for me to get a job. Submitted for form on 4/22/25 then next day told I could get it from Dr. CHARLES ON 4/23/25 AND THEN THE MANAGER SENT ME TO A WHOLE NOTHER MEDICAL BUILDING TO GET FORM WAITED THERE ANOTHER HR THEN THEY TELL ME THE COULDNT DO THE FORM EITHER. THEN I RETURNED BK TO DR. OFFICE SAME DAY IN THE HR THEN THEY FINALLY TELL ME I HAVE TO HAVE MAKE A APPOINTMENT W DR. Charles to get this exemption note for no vaccine covid 19 so this is coming from the manager herself face to face. The on 4/24/25 11:15 am dr. CHARELS TOLD ACCUSED ME OF NOT WAITING IN WAITING ROOM 2 HRS ANS 1 HR AT THE OTHER BULIDING THEY SENT ME TOO. TOTALLY NOT PROFESIONAL TO BE ACCUSED OF BEING A LIAR. THEN TELLS ME I have to get covid vaccine or I'm a risk to the public and health filed. Then he refused to give me the required form for Exemption for covid 19 form so then I can't get a job because of it. I told Dr. CHARLES I HAVE RELIGIOUS BELIEFS AND I HAVE A LOW IMMUNE SYSTEM AND DIEABETIC WHICH EVEN THE FLU SHOT ALMOST KILLED ME AND COVID ALMOST KILLED ME 2 TIMES SO NO SHOT FOR ME AND I HAVE RIGHTS TO REFUSE THE INJECTION BY LAW. HE HE TREATED ME VERY RUDELY AND WAS TELLING ME IF I DIDNT TAKE THE COVID VACCINE THEN I SHOULDNT WK IN THE HEALTHCARE SETTING AND HE WOULDNT HELP ME W FORM AND NOW I CANT GET A GOOD JOB BECAUSE OF IT. ABSOLUTELY THE WOST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD IN A MEDICAL FACILITY AND I NO LONGER WANT HIM AS MY CARE PROVIDER. Negative experience: Horrible dental place. They said I had an appt at 2 had me come at 1:30pm and I checked in. 2:30pm comes around and they begin to tell me that my appt is at 3. 3 comes around. Wait we are running late now. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE PEOPLE AND HOW THEY MAKE YOU FEEL! I WILL NEVER BE BACK OR REFER ANYONE EVER AGAIN. SAM AT THE FRONT DESK OF THE DENTAL OFFICE WAS NO HELP. Thanks. Negative experience: Rachel Haas has been refusing to give my child a neuropsych evaluation referral. We have asked multiple times and she keeps telling my child they seem “Normal” It’s called masking. She’s being ablest. She also refused to help me get on a medication for my ADHD. She’s absolutely the worst doctor I’ve ever had to work with. And funny enough no one’s getting back to me about a complaint. I don’t suggest this clinic to anyone. The amount of mental duress That I’ve been through since going to this clinic is not worth the trouble. They exacerbate your mental illnesses.

Fantastic experience: went in for emergency dental care and while things did not at all turn out the way i thought they were (i thought i’d be coming in with a tooth extraction but turns out my wisdom teeth were the problem!) they were so kind, helpful and really did make me feel important even though i was not someone who was scheduled in advance. they helped me find solutions and good referrals. truly kind hearted people. i cannot thank them enough for what help they have given me and will continue to be working with them from here on out.

Fantastic experience: Great Staff at the dentist today! I had to reschedule my appointment and because of this I was rescheduled with a different Doctor. This was a bit concerning to me, but in the end the Doctor was as nice and professional as my regular Doctor.

Fantastic experience: I can't recommend these folks enough. They are both top notch at helping people care for their teeth, but they also help the community in so many ways. The only caveat, and definitely not enough for a 'point reduction', is the waiting list for becoming a patient. That being said, there are emergency services slots available first-come-first-served as early as 8 AM, which 'regular' dentists simply do not provide.

Fantastic experience: Have had and continue to have a terrific experience with the dental care in Missoula. I have been treated with kindness, respect, and compassion. From the front desk to the chair and out I’ve been treated with excellence. Today Dr Rogers and her amazing assistant took out my wisdom tooth (tiny) and helped assess what I need in the future with the utmost thoroughness and professionalism. I’ll continue going to them. Fantastic experience: I was referred to Partnership Health Center and honestly I was a little skeptical at first however that changed the minute I arrived for my appointment. The staff is friendly, the process of checking in,waiting then being called back to see my doctor took all of 10 minutes. I would recommend to anyone looking for affordable health care to visit PHC and see what they have to offer.

Positive experience: Great people and I love how inclusive they are, however, today was...odd. No communication on what this appointment would be, and they had planned on doing an extraction that I had already gone through with at the place I was referred to. I was under the impression that today was a check-up on my previous procedure to figure out the next steps for my care plan. I was unprepared and compared to my sit-in at the Larchmont building (where I got my extractions) PHC didn't give me any sort of pre-surgery packet, instructions, or anything. They were just going to go through with it and I don't even know if they were going to knock me out for it or not and they didn't show much concern that my 8-year-old was with me and no additional driver for post-surgery. They then asked if I would be doing the filling instead today, but, again, not what I thought this appointment was for. Overall, if this were an actual surgery date, I was caught completely off-guard and not prepared in the slightest. Communication can be better...

Highly recommend her to anyone that wants tremendous treatment and care. 5 Star physician!! Very positive and asks you how you feel about treatment options. Fantastic experience: PHC Dentistry was recommended to me by the VA CBOC in Hamilton. I had a tooth infection in a molar and they were able to remove it within hours and set up a follow up treatment/care plan to take care of the other issues. Staff at both Creamery and Lowell clinic are both phenomenal.

Negative experience: We set up an appointment for a vasectomy, they said they would call us and tell us how to prepare for the procedure and also to give us the valium needed before hand. We ended up having to call them because they "forgot". So if we never called to ask, we would have been screwed. Now the vasectomy is done, and they sent him home with ZERO INSTRUCTIONS on how to take care of it, what to avoid, how to change the bandage, nothing. Mind you, they did this during closing hours on a friday. So now we are screwed until monday. Getting zero after care help is insane. Kicked us right out the door with no explanation at all.

Negative experience: Had a terrible experience last year, would not recommend partnership dental unless you have to because of insurance. Went in for extreme tooth pain, they took many X-rays and concluded everything was fine besides my chipped tooth, so they filled it. Still had bad tooth pain weeks later, so I went somewhere else out of network a friend recommended. They took one x ray and said my tooth was infected/dead and needed to be either pulled or root canal and crown. Partnership didn’t even send over the right X-rays of my hurting tooth, and the new dentist was confused why they sent X-rays of the wrong tooth. Ended up paying a lot out of pocket for the procedure, but had a fantastic new dentist. Partnership was sloppy and I have no idea how they could have taken so many X-rays and yet missed that my tooth was dead…don’t go there.

Fantastic experience: The clinic has team on time the past 3 years I have been going there. No long waiting room or in room time! Nurse Hunter is extremely kind and friendly. Actually all staff I have encountered have been helpful and friendly! Dr. Kate is such a pleasure to work with. Fantastic experience: I have had nothing but good experiences there. I never wait long and all of the doctors and nurses are really sweet. I am gathering from the nasty reviews that maybe they were rude because maybe you were. When I went to Missoula Bone and Joint I was treated like chattel and was there well over an hour, only seeing a human for five minutes of it. I would rather go to PHC. I’m going to miss Dr. Paddock, she was the best!

Fantastic experience: Like many others, I have medical trauma that had made me extremely scared to go to the doctors. I’d even broken bones and fractured joints with no treatment. So when I was finally convinced to see Dr. Calle at Partnership, I was crying in fear on the phone when I called, shaking as I walked in, and had a hard time speaking during the intake procedures. At every step, though, the person who assisted me was kind, informative, patient, and compassionate in a way that put me at ease to get me to the next step. Dr. Calle deserves a post all her own for being the best doctor I’ve ever seen, but she and Partnership Health as a whole have eased my fears of the medical world so I’ve been able to see a different Partnership doctor as a walk-in for an illness, and schedule appointments with specialists which I for the most part have not canceled. I feel like I finally have control of my health as a whole after decades of chronic pain and discomfort, and I have everyone at Partnership Health Center to thank.

Negative experience: I am dissatisfied with the service I have received throughout this process. The entire experience has been unorganized, unprofessional, and deeply frustrating. I have a large lymph node on my neck, which my doctor indicated could potentially be cancerous. Despite the seriousness of this, it took over a week for my doctor to contact me with my test results. When they finally did, the medical assistant falsely claimed to have spoken to me the day before, which was untrue. I was also scheduled for another ultrasound on my neck, and I was told the order was sent to Saint Pats Imaging. However, when I called to make my appointment, they had no record of the order. I waited over two days to ensure the order had been received, but nothing had been done. This whole situation has caused me significant anxiety. I’ve tried repeatedly to contact the medical assistant and my doctor, but no one has been available to answer my questions or provide clarity.

Negative experience: Sadly, you get what you pay for. Don't seek treatment here expecting dignity; you will only receive infantilization. There have been times in my life where the only healthcare I could afford was county clinics. It's extremely disheartening to think about others in that position now - where the professionals they approach for help only see and treat a stereotype. The clinic is fine for very simple, low risk care. If you are someone unfortunate enough to have a complicated series of health problems, I'd suggest avoiding Partnership. They will treat whatever strawman they build from the chart. They will ignore your input by deeming you an unreliable narrator and considering it impossible for you to understand medicine to any degree. They will even go as far as disputing unequivocal medical records if they don't fit the strawman. I once had to hand over two different x-rays showing my post-surgical arthritis; the doctor dismissed the first as an "X-ray artifact" despite being aware I was simply repeating what the orthopedic surgeon who took those x-rays had said to me. "Guilty until proven innocent" is sadly now the norm due to the US healthcare chogath - but they take it to extreme levels. Rather than explain they are choosing not to provide treatment on the basis of deeming you too much of a risk, they will simply lie to you instead. A doctor and her director once insisted I could not receive a treatment course under any circumstances - the director went as far to say "no responsible doctor would ever do that." The treatment in question has a direct statement on the FDA label that it should be used in cases like mine. Unless "responsible doctor" means one who ignores FDA indications, they simply didn't consider me worth the minimal effort to explain the reality. They are not the only clinic who have prioritized their DEA license over honesty to a patient I have encountered in Missoula, to be fair. The counseling service had the exact same problems, except they became magnified due to the inherent infantilization in any counciling service (as you are not their equal; you will lose any disagreement/gaslighting by default by simply seeking mental health care). I stopped after one session simply because the counselor refused to move forward with my treatment goals in favor of a minor issue *she* felt was more important. That is just as absurd as paying a PT to rehab a knee injury only for them to refuse to work on anything but your shoulder. Yet somehow counselors believe they are above such responsibilitoes to the person hiring them across the industry. I would never trust Partnership in any capacity to have input on psychiatric medication management. They will almost certainly stick you on whatever they feel is best and then deny your reports of common side effects or lack of efficacy and maybe go as far as using that to label you "non-compliant" which is a horribly destructive scarlet letter to be placed on a person. (That is from personal experience from other clinics, not Partnership to be clear) For that, I recommend New Health Montana. It is the only practice I have found anywhere in the area that actually treats patients with an "innocent until proven guilty" mindset - which is exponentially more important when it comes to psychiatric care.

I have been more than happy with PHC since my move to Missoula two years ago. The folks at the main clinic are also caring, excellent folks. An A+ group of health professionals. If there is a weak link, I have not found it.

Negative experience: They are very unorganized and the dental assistant that I saw was very rude. I called customer service and had to leave a message gor them to contact me, 5 weeks later and they still haven't called me. Two and a half months after my establish patient appointment and they still haven't called me to make a appointment for a cleaning.

Fantastic experience: I went to them the whole time I was pregnant going to weekly meetings with other pregnant women in the same timester as myself.. with 2 doctors there for any questions.. we learned a lot plus bonded.. also they helped me with getting diagnosed with PTSD.. I had no idea what was wrong with me... they have also been there fornmy daughter her whole life.. I have been going there for 15 years now..? When it was the old building... they are great.

Positive experience: Not sure if it's the same at all locations but from the Missoula location, I ended up getting 5 total text reminders about the appointment in the 5 days preceeding my appointment. That alone was overkill, unnecessary and annoying. Then, when I got to the appointment and checked, in a very timely fashion, I ended up waiting well beyond my scheduled appointment time. I realize they may be busy and possibly understaffed but I did not select the appointment day or time, they did. I would like to think they valued my time more than that. Once I got in, staff was professional, compassionate and they answered all my questions.

I had a procedure done that was quite personal. She did everything she could to make sure I felt safe. The nurse was also extremely kind and held my hand the entire time. Negative experience: Was referred to PHC by a former provider after they left town to practice elsewhere. Saw a provider here a couple of months ago to establish a patient/doctor relationship. Had a family emergency that required me to leave the state for a month. Called PHC a few times to explain the situation so that I could still receive my prescriptions where I’m staying. Each time, they said, “Don’t worry, we can fill your prescriptions”. Just called to get a refill on one of them and now they’re saying that they need to see me prior to filling the prescriptions. I explained the situation to them again and they still refused to fill my prescriptions! To make a long story short, I would not recommend this practice to my worst enemy!
