Fantastic experience: As a new customer, first visit to Cooley Smiles in Kenmore after a few bad experiences at orher dentist, was a very good experience, starting from the front desk and following my cleaning with the hygienist Zosia, she explained everything in detail and was gentle, thorough and very pleasant. I was impressed with Dr. Kelly Yu, she explained all that needed to be completed and answered all my questions. Up to the end with Amy going over insurance issues and sharing suggestions. I am truly impressed.

Negative experience: EXPENSIVE AND SCUMMY! ALWAYS GET A SECOND OPINION FOLKS!!! BEING NICE IS THEIR STRATEGY TO GET MONEY FROM YOU!!!! Not only does Cooley Smiles Kenmore bills 2-3x the amount to insurance for exams than other places, their dentist also give fake diagnosis so you spend more money at their place. Their expensive x-rays are also too blurry to be used by other clinics. Their dentist said I needed 5+ teeth fixed, while my second opinion dentist said I don’t need any of them operated. Edit: I got a third opinion, and the third dentist also said my teeth were fine.

Negative experience: Edit: I keep seeing negative reviews getting removed, so yeah please stop controlling the rating. Buying all these fake reviews says a lot about them. A clinic with 800+ positive reviews should be an instant red flag. Similar to the other negative reviews they recommended fillings for nearly all of my teeth. I sought second opinions from two other dentists and consulted with my dentist friends—none of them even suggested more than 4 fillings. They even push for fillings after I specifically tell them that I had to travel out of state for a few months, without concern for whether I'd have time for any adjustment. I had to go back right before my flight for adjustment because the filling is so high. When adjustments were needed, they became impatient and didn't allow much discussion, likely because they don't make money from adjustments. And I cant believe they still push for more fillings the same day even though they just did some adjustments. The fillings they performed made my teeth highly sensitive even months after until now, and other dentists confirmed they were unnecessary. Very greedy dentists pretend to care about patients by saying things like, "If you were family, I’d recommend 15 fillings." “Every dentist has different style and our dentists are some of the most conservative when recommending treatment.” No, you’re recommending them for the money. I hope they go out of business soon, dentists like these should not exist.

Fantastic experience: I recently found Cooley Smiles and have been fond of it ever since. It had been a while, to say the least, of going to the dentist and I expressed some concerns and anxiety I had around my first return visit. The hygienist and doctor assured me that I would be in good hands and that they would take care of me, and they have. I actually have told my family and friends about this clinic. I love this clinic in Kenmore in particular because it is all women staff: the front desk receptionists, the hygienists, the doctors. All the women here are so wonderful, warm, welcoming and made me feel as comfortable as I could be, going to a dentist. They hygienists are very friendly and the doctors are very smart and intentional. I am appreciative of their care and thoughtfulness.

Negative experience: The dentist here is very rude and abrasive. He recommends unnecessary fillings and treatments. Avoid

Fantastic experience: I was impressed with all the options that they gave me and the dental hygienist was really caring and helpful and the dentist was concerned with what I thought, it was also very good that the dentist told me what she was doing every step of the way and was really concerned about how I was doing and I really appreciated that. Fantastic experience: Absolutely the most knowledgeable and friendly dental professionals I’ve experienced. Their technology and 3-D machines are cutting edge. The office is spacious and beautifully designed for easy patient access. The entire group is so caring and welcoming. My dental hygienist, Colleen, has the most gentle touch that is pain-free but extremely thorough. I followed her from my last dental office because she makes my cleanings so much more enjoyable. Dr Jessica reviewed multiple scans, photos and X-rays taken during my appointment and was able to identify areas of concerns that needed attention due to the updated machines available in their office. I had a great experience and would highly recommend their dental services.

Fantastic experience: If you have dental anxiety I can't recommend Dr. Priya enough! She is so gentle and empathetic to people who have had bad experiences in the past. I knew going into my first appointment that my teeth were in bad shape, but at no point during any of my visits has anyone ever made me feel ashamed for it. It feels like they meet you where you are and just want the best for your future. This goes for the other staff as well - my hygienist Miranda and Amy and Nonna at the front desk all contribute to a stress-free, positive visit every time! I've also had great experiences when they have referred elsewhere for services like root canals and bone grafts/extractions. Even if they don't do the work themselves, you can tell they associate with other practices that have the same high standard of care and professionalism.

The whole place seems to be operated by people who pay attention to detail and provide exceptional quality in all aspects of the experience. Everything runs smoothly and beautifully. Fantastic experience: Great service. I cracked a front tooth and ended up needing a crown. They say matching a front tooth is one of the more difficult dental challenges. Everyone at Cooley Smiles Kenmore has been great and very understanding as to the sensitivity and emotions related to replacing a front tooth. All the staff is very friendly and professional, they have gone the extra mile to ensure I'm fully satisfied with the look and feel of my replacement crown.

Fantastic experience: The experience included a very comprehensive review of the health of my teeth, including panoramic x-rays, individual x-rays, regular photos, gum pocket depth and other related metrics, as well as a review by the dentist. The final cleaning was a pleasure. A thorough review of my treatment options finalized a very nice experience.

Positive experience: Very clean office. The front desk lady was friendly, informative and very informative. She let me know up front what I would have to pay. I was taken back right on time. My hygienist was nice, but she had the ‘I’m here because I’m paid to be’ attitude. She did a good job cleaning my teeth and when she got to a part that was irritating for me, she stopped and used a different instrument, which I appreciated. My biggest issue with her was she noticed on my health history that I had a heart and liver transplant. This woman, with a total straight face, asked me if I had a whole heart transplant or a partial. Where in the world do they do partial heart transplants?? I ignored her the first time because I thought she was just joking. But she asked again. I know she’s a hygienist and not a doctor, but I figure you could find any goof on the street who would know that partial heart transplants are not a thing! I saw Dr Priya. She was awesome. She told me everything I needed to get done. I have some missing teeth and she told me the different options I had for replacing them. This is very expensive and she didn’t lean toward either option. She gave me the choice. I really appreciate that because I’ve had other dentists lose interest when I chose the less expensive option. She even told me about some spots that she would just watch instead of filling right away. I will definitely go back to see her. It’s a very nice office. Clean and quiet. I have managed dental offices for the past 25 years and the front desk lady is exactly the kind of person I look for when it’s time to hire. She and the doctor made it a very pleasant experience.

Fantastic experience: 10/10! The front desk Nonna is so sweet and efficient, Zosia my hygienist was amazing during my deep cleaning. She made the whole process so easy and comfortable. As one of many who’s not fond of the dentist office, the whole team makes you feel at home. Dr. Micaela even came in to check on me during the appointment! Highly recommend this office for anyone nervous of the dentist, they’ll change your mind!

Fantastic experience: I've been going to this dentist going on 3 years and it has been nothing but pleasant. On the said scheduled day and time you agree to, they get you in right away on time. Longest I had to wait after check in was 3 MINUTES!! Dental work is always thorough and done correctly, if you do need to come back for anything, like me I needed a filling adjusted to correct my bite a little more. Got me in next day and was out in 30 mins. They are upfront with cost, and are willing to do payment arrangements. I went in to finish my implant and still have a balance to pay, but they took the rest of my benefit amount left over and was able to apply it to my implant balance. Now I only have less than half the balance left to pay (all depends on the patients insurance though) Office is clean and staff is nice. They are honest and provide clients with the best treatment options that would benefit you the most. If you decline a treatment because of money issues, they won't put you down and make you feel bad. I've been to many dentist over 20 years, and this one by far is the best. And so much available parking. :)

Fantastic experience: My appointment today was for basic cleaning and check up at Cooley's Smiles. My hygienist, Colleen , was very personable and did a good job for my cleaning. Dr. Praya checked on me too and she was friendly and professional as always. The staff at the Kenmore office are helpful and cheerful which provides a welcoming feeling to patients.

Negative experience: I have never been more uncomfortable with the hygienist as I was at my last appt. I don't know if she was working too fast but there was nothing gentle about the experience. I was at the point of saying, "stop, I can't take this anymore" it was hurting so badly. Fortunately, just as I reached my breaking point, she was done. I will definitely ask for a different hygienist for my next cleaning appt.

Negative experience: Care is great. Hygienist, Dentist, front desk…everything. So why 3 stars? They are over subscribed. Had to reschedule a regular cleaning appointment due to a conflict. When was the next open appointment? 5 months out. Really intolerable. Very likely will look at another practice with more reasonable availability.

Fantastic experience: I just want to give this place and it’s a staff the shoutout they deserve. For someone who has extreme dental anxiety I could not recommend a better place to go. Today was my first time back at a dentist in many years. I didn’t know what I was walking into, I didn’t know how it was going to go. I just knew that I didn’t want to do it. I even dragged my boyfriend with me for emotional support, and they let him come back with me. The receptionist was extremely friendly. I was instantly relaxed by my dental hygienist Bekah, who made me comfortable from start to finish and my dentist whose name I’m unfortunately blanking on right now was so friendly and had such a kind demeanor. A lot of work to do going forward but I’m put at ease, knowing I have a great care team.

Fantastic experience: I recently found great partners in my dental health in Zosia and Dr. Priya Bhavan at Cooley Smiles in Kenmore. This was my first dental appointment in about 15 years, and their knowledge and support made me feel confident in them and comfortable with future visits. (Also I got kisses from another patient's dog, so that was great!)

Fantastic experience: Came here Nov 2021 for exam/x-rays/cleaning as a new patient. Clean office, friendly staff, on-point service. The cleaning with Colleen was super comfortable. Dr. Mikayla was professional and courteous during the exam, and took the time to walk through the x-rays in detail. All in all, an excellent experience. Highly recommend! Update 8/14/2024: Still top-quality three years later. Personable, professional, clean. Colleen and Zosia are both excellent hygienists, you can’t go wrong!

Fantastic experience: After my old hygienist retired I was looking for a new place that was closer to where I currently live. I figured I’d try this place because it looked nice and was close to my house. I can say that I was kind of blown away with this place. They were super friendly, did an excellent job cleaning my teeth, and had much better equipment than the place I was previously at for the past 13 years. Highly recommend and hoping to switch my family over to them soon.

Fantastic experience: At the time of my appointment, I was greeted very warmly. At the check-in desk, there were two very cheerful and kind ladies who guided me a lot and followed up on my insurance matters. I am very grateful to these two kind ladies. Afterwards, a very respectful lady guided me through the diagnosis, X-rays, and examination by the doctor. This was actually my first experience, and I felt so good that I forgot about my toothache.

Fantastic experience: Cooley smiles at Kenmore is the center I visit for my dental visits and the people are amazing here. The assistants are kind, listen patiently and answer all the questions & concerns. Front desk team is great too and gave my son a balloon & a toy when he accompanied me for my dental visit !

Positive experience: Great location, easy parking. Everything was great, conversation and wait time. For fluoride treatment would prefer to be asked as some insurance does not cover. I will recommend to my neighbors in Kenmore. And to the people I work with on the city council.

Fantastic experience: I was a former client of Cooley Smiles for several years. I subsequently found that I was awarded 100% veterans disability status. Based upon this award, I dropped Cooley Smiles as my dental provider and moved on to the VA system. The past year through the VA program has not been a positive experience to say the least. I most recently decided to forego my 100% free coverage to go back to a Dentist that treats you as a member of their family. I appreciate their use of the most up to date technology while they work through their procedures. Lastly, I'm reminded that I'm surrounded by professional's that really care about the health of me teeth making certain I'm 100% comfortable throughout the whole process. Fantastic experience: Cooley Smiles is always running on time. From the front office to the hygienist to the dentists on staff they are always and professional. My regular cleaning yesterday was fantastic. I just love that new polished tooth feel.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Priya and Dr. Kelly are without a doubt the best dentists I have ever been to. After having awful experiences at other dentists I became so fearful of having any dental work done that I didn’t go for 10+ years. When my teeth absolutely needed to be worked on I was referred to Cooley smiles in Kenmore and I am happy to say that my anxiety about going to the dentist is gone. I won’t go anywhere else. Excellent dentist office in every aspect.

Fantastic experience: I'm certainly one of those that puts off a dentist visit for too long, and after moving to the area I was unsure how to select a new dentist when it was clear I needed one. Neighbors pointed me here, and I am very happy to have made this choice. The staff are professional and friendly, and put me at ease quickly. Their systems were efficient, and the treatment was thorough but conservative. They provided helpful advice in a respectful way. Might actually get on a regular dental schedule for once in my life...
