Fantastic experience: My routine appointment today turned out not to be so routine. The staff here is amazing and my hygienist was concerned about an area on an X-ray. Dr Hamod came in to take a look and he decided that I needed some further testing. He explained everything very well and was so concerned and kind. He set up an appointment with one of his colleagues in order to try to save my tooth. I’m so glad that Dr. Hamod is my dentist. He’s honest and looks out for the best interest of his patients. Negative experience: Terrible experience! I would not recommend them to any friends or family. I was always scheduled out every 7 months and then they canceled on me not once but TWICE and then told me they couldn’t get me in for another 10 months. Now, I have to go a year without teeth cleaning in hopes to find another dentist.

Negative experience: This practice has gotten worse over the last couple of years with availability. They literally did not give my wife and I a confirmed appointment at all this year, and have been waiting around for the next available opening when someone else cancels. Trying to load up on patients irresponsibly it seems

Dr. Hamod faced a few anomalies with my teeth today and kept me comfortable, pain free and informed thru out the procedure. His team was top hand today and every visit. Fantastic experience: It's been a while since I've been to the dentist and I'm guilty as charged, and I usually seen Dr Scharf, but I had a situation where I needed to get in and today I had the great pleasure of meeting Dr Comeau, she is probably the most kindest and gentle and amazing dentist I have ever seen, she basically brought some concerns to my attention which I knew there was going to be a few since it's been a while and she gave me the perfect outlay of what needs to be done, and I can't say I'm looking forward to it lol, but I will be excited for her to continue her work with me till we complete what needs to be done, I would recommend her to anyone and everyone she is amazing..... Also her assistant and I feel horrible because she was so kind and nice as well but I cannot remember her name but those two are one great team to be around they both make you feel comfortable there's no anxiety and they are so pleasant with everything they present to you it's just amazing to me to go to a dentist when you're all about bundle of nerves anyway and be treated so kindly and great the way this was today

My children have been here since they were young. The staff remember you, ask about your family. Truly the best dental care I have received. From major dental work to cleanings. Services from from routine care and cleaning to major adjustment and realignment procedures, we've experienced them all and without any reservation, they've been at the top of 'the' game, and they remain there! Fantastic experience: Today was my 3rd visit and can say I’m very happy with them. I have struggled to find a good dental office experience and got behind on cleanings and dental care. The front desk staff is wonderful both on the phone and in person..kind and patient. I had Jodi for my hygienist today and loved her, I didn’t want to have novacaine like the previous time on the first side since I was numb most of the day. But I knew deep cleaning and scaling can be painful but wanted to try. She was very gentle and provided topical numbing gel and the visit went great!! She made me feel very comfortable and did an excellent job on my deep scaling and cleaning. Thank you!!

Fantastic experience: Went to BADC for a second opinion. I was able to get a quick appointment, and upon arrival was taken back to the exam room within a few minutes. Dr. Hamod was very friendly, professional and informative. He spent a great deal of time listening to my concerns and explaining everything. I never felt rushed. In addition, the rest of the staff that I encountered were friendly, and the office was updated, clean and welcoming.

Fantastic experience: Unfortunately my crown fell off. I immediately called Bel Air Dental and had an appointment the next day. Dr. Hamod quickly reattached my crown and I was out the door. Outstanding job!!!! BD quickly attended to my need without any hesitation.

Fantastic experience: Today was my first visit with Dr. Alan Scharf. Although I think that I will like him a lot as my dentist, the office was extremely busy and I had to sit there and wait just over an hour to be seen. Be sure and take book to read or an audio book to enjoy while you wait.

Fantastic experience: I went many years without seeing a dentist because of my snuff habit. Other dentists refused to see me because my oral health was in such bad shape. Bel Air Dental and Dr. Hammod welcomed me with open arms. Dr Hammond put together a solid treatment plan for me to help repair my gum and tooth damage. He has taken great care of me and has helped me improve my oral heath.I hate pain and Dr. Hammod ensures that I feel no pain even when I need teeth extracted or he is performing work on my gums. He is excellent at pain management and he and his staff provide a friendly welcoming environment. I highly recommend Bel Air Dental Care. Dr Hamod is rated the number 1 dentist in Maryland for a reason. He is a great dentist.

This was my 3rd visit and I was treated with a very gentle dentist. Sorry I am not remembering her name but by my next visit in 2 weeks I will remember her name.I was expecting to be a little sore the next day having 3 cavities filled but I have to say I was not in any pain. Negative experience: Can't even get an appointment here, even as someone with many issues that need to be treated and a great career to pay for said repairs. I'm sure it's a lovely place, but the whole of Harford County is less than 300k people so it's a bad look when places can't accept new patients. By way of comparison there are over a million people in Montgomery County and you can get a dental appointment within weeks.

Fantastic experience: The office is clean and the staff is friendly. I’ve had a pleasant experience every 6 months. Would recommend for those looking for a new dentist! 2022/23 Edit: I had a cleaning and wasn’t told they were no longer Delta preferred (or whatever the agreement is) so I had to pay for a cleaning. Because of this I had to switch dentists. In the future I think it would be nice to mention to their clients if they knew they weren’t preferred for my insurance. I mentioned this to the receptionist and don’t think my feedback was taken into account. I’ll keep my rating at 5/5 because my family still goes here!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Scharf is an excellent Dentist. Very skilled. His work is always outstanding. He recently repaired a tooth in the front of my mouth and it is perfect! You could never tell it was ever repaired. He has performed other dental services for me with the same outstanding results. He is also personable and friendly, with a great sense of humor.
