Negative experience: Update- after spending thousands of dollars, I came back for a cleaning according to my treatment plan. The new dentist caused me to leave in tears. I ran out of there- even forgot my coat. I have a gaping hole in a molar and a broken tooth and “we don’t normally numb you when you get cleaned” and “we can make a note for next time” Well shame on any dentist who does that. Lazy. They attempted to overcharge me from the last quoted price and I still had to pay after I had to stop the dentist twice and he scraped my front teeth halfheartedly. I wasn’t going to change my review but people need to know this new dentist is the worst. First visit review-I’m a scaredy cat when it comes to the dentist. Really great staff walked me through everything to make my visit as easy as possible!

Super attentive, and explained everything in a way for me to understand what I need to take care of my health. Shoutout to the Wicker Park Dental Group, they made me feel super comfortable and at home. Highly recommend it and I’m feeling super fresh and clean.

Fantastic experience: Wow, what an experience! Dr. Siaj, Mari, Ivan, and Nicole were incredibly welcoming and amazing. They fit me in for an emergency appointment, and I felt more comfortable in their chair than I have in a long time. The team has such a natural way of communicating and having fun with patients—it truly puts you at ease. I also noticed how wonderfully they interacted with everyone, from children to adults. That level of care and kindness is something you don’t see often anymore. Even though the office is out of my way, this will definitely be my new dentist going forward. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I'm a complete coward for dental pain but they take tremendous care to help alleviate my concerns by offering a course of treatment that accommodates my fear. I strongly recommend them. Especially if, like me, youve allowed fear to force you to put off treatment too long.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming here for 2 and a half years now and i love it! I’m pretty scared of the dentist- i get anxiety and have a bad gag reflex. I’ve also had bad experiences at other dentist offices and this place makes you feel so comfortable. They talk you through everything and are so nice. Love it!

Negative experience: I wouldn’t send my enemy here. Constantly pushing crowns and other high cost unnecessary treatments. Go elsewhere !

Positive experience: I originally gave this office five stars, because most of the staff was wonderful. I have a deep fear of the dentist and the kindness that I received at the front desk as well as from the dental assistants was appreciated. However, it has since taken me three years to see a dentist since my experience at this clinic. The dentist himself did not have much compassion for my fears. I had a miserable time in the chair. I just saw a new dentist this month and had work done yesterday. This experience has made it much more obvious to me that my experience at Wicker Park Dental was, overall, not great. Just something to keep in mind if you have fear of the dentist!

Fantastic experience: The staff here are incredibly nice and genuine. I came in today to get some fillings done and they reshaped a chipped tooth. I expressed that I get nervous with the numbing agent and they were super reassuring and made sure I knew if I needed a break or was feeling super anxious during the work, I could signal to them that I needed a break. They were patient and kind through the work and honored what they said when I needed a break. Also - they did SUCH a good job filling in the chip in my tooth - it looks great! So glad I found this place. I feel safe and cared for here.

Fantastic experience: Great service at Wicker Park Dental - I came in for a dental emergency that ended up becoming a root canal & crown. All the staff I’ve interacted with over the last month since my initial appointment have been very caring and professional, and when additional services were needed they were also able to provide a referral to another great office in Roscoe Village. Now that I have been treated here, I plan to come back for regular dental cleanings as well - highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: The staff here is truly amazing. The atmosphere is so inviting. Dr. B gave me options no Dentist has ever told me about and I really liked the screen that she showed me options on as she explained them to me. Maty, and forgive me if I'm spelling her name incorrectly told me about care payment, which helped me be able to pay in full for the work needed to be done. She is one of the nicest persons I've met. She also made me laugh when I really wanted to cry. Another lady assisted me at the front desk I forgot her name, but she was so patient with me and assisted me with all my questions. I highly recommend this office.

Negative experience: Do NOT go to this dentist if you are a person who has been assaulted or has had negative experiences at the dentist. They do not read or care about your needs when you provide them before and during the appointment. Please be aware of this if you are someone who has anxiety at the dentist that they fully take advantage of this and any lack of knowledge you may have.

And when I tell you she was so quick!! I definitely recommend going to see her at Wicker Park Dental Group. The entire staff has just been so amazing and accommodating. Negative experience: WARNING!! The administration and billing at this dental office are negligent at best and borderline fraudulent at worst. In April, I had to cancel a last-minute appointment because my special needs daughter — who is non-verbal and autistic — was unexpectedly unable to attend her program that day. She cannot sit unattended while I receive treatment, so I called to reschedule. I explained the situation clearly to the receptionist, who said she could reschedule the appointment but that I would be charged a $50 fee. I declined and said I would take my business elsewhere. Shockingly, she insisted that I should just bring my daughter with me, and I had to explain multiple times that this was simply not possible. After that, I began receiving weekly, aggressive text messages pressuring me to rebook my appointment. I asked them to stop. Then the texts shifted to say I had an account balance, but I never received a formal bill by mail or email. With no itemized statement and no access to a patient portal, I disregarded the vague texts as suspicious. Eventually, the texts escalated to threats of collections. Only after I called did they finally send a statement — but it was confusing, lacked proper breakdowns, and didn’t clearly explain what I owed or how insurance was applied. Consumers, beware. Sending vague text messages with no detailed billing or online access is not a valid way to notify someone of a charge. It may also violate the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and the Illinois Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act. To make matters worse, this office routinely delays filing claims with insurance. My EOBs are often dated 3–4 months after services were provided. If your insurance has a 90-day filing deadline, you could be unfairly billed for their delays — and still held responsible. I am reporting this office to the Illinois Attorney General and other agencies to help protect others from being misled or overcharged. **Be VERY careful when dealing with this dental group.**

Fantastic experience: I don’t go to the dentist as often as I should due to the anxiety it gives me, but I lost a crown and had to go in as an emergency. Wicker Park Dental Group was able to get me in quickly and come up with a care plan. I ended up having to get teeth removed which is a huge fear of mine but they were kind, compassionate, professional, and made the experience a lot less scary than I expected. I highly recommend them and will be continuing to receive dental care here.

Fantastic experience: I made the right decision getting my root canal done at Wicker Park Dental Group! From day one everyone was efficient and friendly. Dr. Bhagat went above and beyond for me. She couldn't complete the procedure on the day I scheduled the root canal, but she made sure to refer me to a dentist who could see me, same day, and complete the foundational work. Linda stayed in contact with me to make sure eveything went as planned. The follow through was impressive! I never experienced invasive dental work, so I'm glad my first experience was with Wicker Park Dental Group!

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit, and my first dental trip in quite a while as I avoid it like the plague. Everyone was so kind and patient with me despite me shaking like a leaf, and never dismissed my worries or shamed me for being so uncomfortable. They explained everything they did and even went through the insurance and billing with me side by side. Hopefully the big procedures will go just as smooth, but they have definitely made it much easier for me to not ghost and run away, as I may have done in the past.

Fantastic experience: I seriously LOVE this practice. I just moved back to Chicago and ended up here after cracking a tooth and they were able to get me in right away and did a great job. Everyone at this practice is friendly, professional and they always greet you with a smile and make sure you are comfortable. I’ve always hated going to the Dentist so this was big for me. I’m happy to say this is where I will be coming from now on and a HUGE shout out to the AMAZING JOHNATHAN who got my teeth sparkling white! I am so HAPPY! Highly recommend!!! Fantastic experience: I’ve always been afraid of going to the dentist and because of that, my teeth suffered. I finally went to wicker park dental when I was in pain- they took care of me. Fast forward a few months later- thanks to the awesome work of Dr. Bhagat and her lovely team- I am slowly but surely getting back on track. My fears have subsided and every visit is a pleasure- I always leave with a smile on my face- even if it’s a little sore. I can’t thank the team enough for the great work they do. I am finally not afraid to smile- Thank you Dr Bhagat and team.

Negative experience: Worst and most terrible experience ever at a dental office. This is the only dental place where my insurance refused to pay after several months of visits. I believe the insurance refused to pay because they unfairly and abusively overcharged them for follow-up visits to fix the fillings problems. The dentist extracted my tooth at the same time as administering anesthesia. It was so painful that I would never forgot about it. The front desk made inconsistent statements about my treatment plans and the amount of money left in my account. So unprofessional!

Fantastic experience: First, let me just say that the staff is amazing here! I really enjoy the feeling very comfortable and relax (Literally going to sleep while I'm having work done on my teeth) as I have dental anxiety overall but just coming into Wicker Park dental Restores my confidence in getting my teeth done. Dr. B is amazing. She make sure that you are satisfied with her work which is always awesome and she make sure that you are comfortable from when you come in and from when you leave she is such a blessing Jonathan the manager he also is amazing too he make sure there any kind of issues or concerns if especially with Bill then he make sure that it's clear communication and he is very precise on making sure that you understand in layman terms. Iam actually from Baltimore (long story for another time) And I literally flew back and forth a few times Just to come get the rest of my procedures done so if that doesn't explain how amazing they are then I don't know what will. So yeah book your appointment and I'm telling you if you got dental anxiety like me Wicker Park will definitely take that Feeling away!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been to Dr. B three times so far and both she and her whole staff - Gavin one the hygienists - and Gina and Jonathan at the front desk - have all been friendly, attentive, responsive, understanding, capable and knowledgeable. They helped me with a filling I needed and some tooth sensitivity. I am a self-admittedly nervous patient and they have made me feel very comfortable and taken care of.

Fantastic experience: I called for an emergency and ended up booking an appointment the same day. I was feeling a lot of pain in my tooth and ended up needing a root canal. The whole time there the entire staff in office was nothing but exceptionally kind, funny, and caring! Dr.Jahnavi and the dental assistant Ave were both very friendly and were able to help me with my problem! Although this isn't my main dentist office I go to , for a first time visit and an emergency visit at that , I'm very happy I was able to find out about Wicker Park Dental!

Negative experience: I went in for a deep cleaning and instead they did the x-rays on my teeth when I didn’t ask for any of that I just wanted a cleaning and then on top of that the fees are very high. They don’t have no type of payment plans. They dont explain things good to you. It’s just not convenient at all.

Fantastic experience: Dr. G rules. I had avoided the dentist for over a decade due to a traumatic experience. Although a lot of issues were addressed today, I wasn’t made to feel like I’m a bad person for getting a cavity etc. Dr G. explains what to expect as he works & it was made clear that my comfort is a priority. Mari the hygienist is there to make everything seamless & crack jokes along the way. Thanks for everything, it definitely won’t be another decade.

Negative experience: To be honest, I am sad I have to write this review.. First and foremost the staff there were very kind on the surface, friendly, caring, and I can't state that enough. However.. they mis quoted my treatment plan from the start, raised it, and were rude about not paying immediately before leaving the facility. I received a notice from a debt collector saying I owe them another 5k... They do not know how to quote properly which is extremely unfair, and now they want more money.. If you get treatment here make sure to save all of your signed treatment plans, at a bare minimum.

Fantastic experience: Ya’ll I came here because I could find no dentist that would accept my insurance to remove Wisdom teeth let alone a payment plan for them ( Like we can pay for one tooth at a time at a reasonable price) & I AM A COLLEGE STUDENT CHILE ! . They seen me ( THE CONSULTATION PRICE WAS in the 2 DIGITS TOO BABY ! ) we came up with a plan & I came in about a week later super nervous & anxious but when I tell ya’ll he took my tooth out in 10 minutes I was IN SHOCK & then the assistant ( She has gages in her ears ) even rubbed my hand when ya girl started crying IT WAS PAINLESS BTW I WAS JUST RILED UP DUE TO MY ANXIETY ! she was super calming & helpful the DENTIST that took my tooth out he wasn’t playing tug a war with my head or nothing he was super gentle calm & patient THANKS GUYSSSS I’LL BE BACKKKK

Fantastic experience: Came in with an emergency tooth infection, saw me same day and was able to remove my wisdom tooth! Amazing experience. Assitant Mahdi and Dr. B comforted me and were so kind at helping me on a Holliday. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: Do not recommend. After being a patient here for 2+ years they lost my info and had me marked as a new patient. We did try to resolve and re-look up info, but it was never found. I simply can not go to a place that can not maintain medical records.

Fantastic experience: Had a dental emergency right before a 3 week vacation out of the country. Called at 9am and was able to get in by 11:30am same day. Ave walked through the whole new patient process, answered all my initial questions, and the X-rays were easy - plus the polishing was painless and great! Dr. Kanneganti created a thorough plan and walked me through the need, urgency, and details of my treatment plan and answered all the questions and concerns I had. Also provided me some tips for some better dental hygiene! Linda took care of all the cost documentation and insurance vs patient costs for the treatment plan and explained how I can best leverage my insurance coverage over the foreseeable future. All in all, great experience and super glad I was able to find an amazing dentist office!

Fantastic experience: This was my second time - very pleasant! Got a nightgaurd scan very quickly by Mari and during my cleaning they switched to manual tools when the electric was a little painful - so much better! Glad they cared<3
