Positive experience: Honestly it was a great experience other than being there 6hrs. Staff and Dr were nice. Everything was well explained. I would’ve given them 5 stars but 6 hrs is a very long time. I would recommend also explaining the length of each procedure along with pricing before the patient decides to do the procedure the day of.

Negative experience: Got a text reminder for an appointment that I never okayed or anything. Today I called and they tried to make me feel like I was crazy I know this won’t be looked into but wow do better customer service wise.

Fantastic experience: What an incredible team! I've been to several dentists over the years, but I've never received such outstanding care and witnessed such seamless teamwork. Dr. Sowmya Renuka is exceptionally knowledgeable—you can tell she's doing the work she was truly meant for. She made sure my root canal was completely painless, and the two crowns fit perfectly. Thanks to Jefferson Dental, my choppers are in great shape. I wholeheartedly recommend this place—it's truly awesome!

Fantastic experience: I was so nervous because of the injection and what I went thru w the fake disease "COVID". The staff was so friendly and caring, I just knew I would be OK. It was just an extraction, it was painful and I teared up a little, but im so grateful I went thru with it. I couldn't even eat cantaloupe. I really admire the closeness between the staff. They seem to be like a healthy family. The place was clean and they were throurough. I have more work to be done and I can finally relax knowing that it's going to be OK now. Fantastic experience: First, I would like to sincerely thank the staff and Dr.Revnuka at this location. The entire experience was truly amazing, and I deeply appreciate you all. My son was anxious when we arrived, but the team not only made him feel welcome — they made him feel at peace. This was the very first dental visit where he was able to sit through the entire appointment without needing to be rescheduled. He did so well, he didn’t even cry — I was in complete shock, especially considering he had to have an extraction and fillings! I highly recommend this office to anyone in need of dental work. The care, hospitality, and professionalism here are phenomenal. I honestly wish I could give more than 5 stars. Thank you again to everyone who helped make this such a positive experience!

She educated and gave recommendation for maintaining healthy gums and white teeth. Dr. Renuka was very hands-on and caring. I’ve been to several dentists before, but it’s only at Jefferson that I found truly sincere staff who genuinely want to help you. Everyone is helpful and friendly, and it’s always a pleasant experience coming here.

Negative experience: EDIT: December 20, 2024. The bridge I was talking about in this post a year ago broke today. I sure hope it’s still under some kind of warranty, but I highly doubt it with this office. I don’t know how these people are still in business! BEWARE!!!!!!! I had work done a few years ago, as well as several months ago, and two of the three composite fillings came out in the last month. The bridge was not fabricated and seated properly. It doesn’t even occlude for heaven sakes! They make sure you sign a waiver so they’re not held responsible for their mistakes as if we are the professionals and know whether or not it was done properly. They continue to drill even when you’re crying, writhing in pain with your hand up (this is the signal to stop) and begging them to stop. Instead of stopping she kept saying “a bit more just a bit more” while pushing into my chest as if to hold me down. She got annoyed that I wasn’t numb enough even though I was waiting in the operatory for hours and hours while she was working on other patients hoping I would stay numb from the 2-3 carpules of anesthesia I was given more than two hours ago. I WAS NUMB AND THEN IT WORE OFF AFTER HOURS OF WAITNG! ITS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE! I was told that I needed to be put under for a deep cavity even though in the past I have had two root canals and four extractions with ZERO issues and without ever being put under!! They took a full mouth X-rays, (bite wings and panoramic) even though a year prior they had taken a full mouth of x-rays and they knew my insurance wouldn’t cover it. This particular dentist needed her own set of xrays. I didn’t know that my insurance only covered those X-rays only every three years, but they knew! This place is a joke! I had never been scared of the dentist in my life and because of the trauma that I experienced at his office with TWO different dentists I have a tooth that needed a crown that now needs to be extracted. My mouth is in SEVERE pain from the root canal that I need as well as the two composite fillings that came out. I am terrified to return and I owe them $60 for the X-rays! Also, at the end of December I tried to get work done on the last day (I believe my appointment was at 3 or before) but they wanted to leave early for Christmas break so my $2,500 allowance was pissed away. I am unbelievably traumatized by this nightmare dental clinic! This doesn’t even touch what I went through two years ago when I had bridgework done. It took a full year for me to get the courage to walk through those doors again. I will NEVERRRRRR go back! I pray I find a competent dentist that works with patients that are hard to numb and who are terrified! I also pray that they block off specific time just for me so they’re not worried about their monthly quota and bonuses. I used to work for Castle dental centers 25 years ago. It seems that these corporations are all the same. Heard them in like cattle and get as much money as you can as quickly as you can.

Fantastic experience: I went in for a tooth extraction. I am not in the best financial spot at the moment but they were very patient with me as I figured out the payment plan. During the extraction I was feeling some pain but they were very quick to address it and the extraction went very smooth.

Negative experience: Now I understand why they have plenty of with negative reviews . Nice staff but Terrible Dr. I have been seeing a dentist at least twice a year, with no problems other than a filling 8 years ago. My teeth are very healthy. I went for my yearly routine check up, Dr. Renuka recommended plenty of unnecessary treatments including: 1. Laser treatments, 2. Crown, 3. Mouth guard, 4. “Deep Cleaning “ - you can check that scam on youtube. Of course, all of this dishonesty is to make some extra few bucks $$$$ I regret falling for this scam, which actually caused gingivitis, and infection in my mouth leading to severe pain. I never expected to be scammed by a dentist, and ending up with infection cause of their terrible service. NEVER Going back again!! I had to see another dentist 3 days afterwards for the problem they did, and my new dentist in Fort Worth said that many patients are coming from their office with complications. Don’t fall for their SCAMS , of extra unnecessary treatments.

Positive experience: Just had a cleaning recently and was great. Dr. Renuka was well versed and informed me of cavities forming and recommend getting them filled. Always impressed with the 3D imaging they do. Both her and Vianey did great work. Fernando and Helen up in the front were very helpful along with being super friendly and easy to talk to. A con I will say is that the wait times seem to be quite long. It could just be the weekend where it's understaffed that day or having a lot of patients for that day. Hopefully they can improve on this.

Negative experience: The first time I went, I waited in the lobby for a hour then once in the chair for an exam, I waited two hours. Only to have X-rays and a consultation. The staff are all very nice and the dentist was knowledgeable but it shouldn't take that long. I made another appointment for a deep cleaning and root canal as a same day visit. When i returned for that visit they weren't sure what I was there for. Shocker! I was told the doctor was doing a long procedure and might not be able to see me, so we agreed to do the deep cleaning and that was completed in a hour. However, I was approached about doing the root canal as the doctor didn't want my abscess tooth to get worse and I was promised I'd only wait 30 minutes to start that procedure and it would take up to 1.5 hrs max so I agreed. 1 hour later they start the process and guess what, I had to be numbed again since they allowed it to wear off. Then 30 min into it the doctor stops and goes to work on another patient and I'm left sitting for 1 hour. She returns to finish the temporary crown only to have to numb me for a 3rd time since once again it wore off and I have super sensitive teeth. There is no way I should be in the chair for 5 hours. They have one dentist and she is booked multiple patients at a time. Do not go here unless you have ALL day

Positive experience: Went in with a broken tooth among other things that need to be done. The staff was very patient and understanding while I was trying figure out what I could afford at that time. The Dr also was very kind with her words and showed care when the broken tooth had to be extracted. Being an incisor she could see my concern and self consciousness about and and gave me all my options for a replacement tooth and even told me that I deserve to smile again. Very thankful for the quality patient care they exhibited.

Negative experience: I wasn't going to make this review but now that they are coming back a month later telling me i have a balance due when i paid exactly what they said i needed to pay at the same time of treatment. I should have never went back there to begin with because the guy at the front told me the dentist that was treating me has no patience when she's treating a patient. I over looked it because i was so nervous not really processing what he said. The dentist (can't remember her name) that pulled my tooth out was the absolute worse. She was literally talking to me like crap because she wouldn't believe that i was in pain. What made it worse was the fact that she kept stopping and going stopping and going instead of just pulling it! Not to mention she was making inappropriate comments about what i can and can't afford or what i should do with my money. They make you pay for the treatment BEFORE you go back so please tell me why yall are sending me text messages and emails telling me i have balance due. The front desk gave me my treatment plan and let me know what i needed to pay i paid that IN FULL... When i called back up there to see why there's a balance its because insurance didn't cover it. So why didn't you all tell me that when i was there instead of a month later? The lady on the phone goes " well sometimes it's an estimate". So what you're telling me is yall GUESSED what the insurance would pay. CROOKS 0/10 do not recommend

Fantastic experience: If God could choose a place to get his teeth done it would most def be the place Fernando and Helen were amazing! Came in with an abscess on the right side of my face was swollen pretty bad, they got the swelling to go down, pulled the tooth it was very affordable and easy the dentist is like a samurai a master in the art of dentistry

Negative experience: I’ve been dealing with an issue regarding a bill since June. I’ve called multiple times, and each time I’m told a manager will reach out, but no one has followed up. I've been repeatedly given the runaround. Fernando informed me that my insurance was never filed correctly and assured me not to worry about the bill, yet I continue to receive it. My insurance covers preventative services 100%, so I don’t understand why I’m being billed for a preventative visit from two years ago. Why wasn’t this brought to my attention sooner? I work in insurance, and I know it doesn’t take two years to file a claim. I was provided with a corporate number, but the voicemail box is full, which seems unusual for a corporate office. I’m tired of this back-and-forth, and I refuse to pay the bill when this was a mistake on their end, not mine. I need answers. Every time I call, I’m promised a manager will contact me, yet no one ever does. It’s frustrating that I’ve had to wait months for a resolution. I don’t understand how they have such high ratings when this level of service is so poor. Update: Spoke for Fernando again and he is emailing them again to expedite the process. Just wondering why is working so hard and no one else is? Also the 877 number is for an auto parts store outlet

Negative experience: Not sure how it's at 4.6 stars ,unless it's one of does where they say give us a 5 star rating and get this much off your visit rating. 1 star 2 at most should be real rating, x-rays and a cleaning shouldn't take 3 or more hours to do. Ya had other patients, but wasn't to where you have lots waiting. Honestly even if it where semi full still shouldn't take that long. If the dentist I'd new to his profession I guess that is understandable , if not maybe should find another field since obviously not that good at his current profession

Fantastic experience: I've been to 5 dentists in 10 years. I never want to go back but I went to Jefferson on Beach St in Fort Worth and I've been back 4 times! The staff and the doctor are the best and even laugh at my silly jokes! I just found out you can't have candy or Coke Zero! Lol. Jk. But I was gently reminded of that and I don't even like sweets! Fantastic experience: I've never been one for going to dentist had bad experience when I was a child I'm 69 years old and only been to dentist about 15 times in my entire life I've been to this office four times now within the last 15 months and they have done nothing but treat me with kindness and made it easy I really need a lot of work on my gums and they have really done a good job taking care of me I would recommend this office and the staff to anyone. I'm an Old Navy veteran who has a hard time trusting people but I trust them

Negative experience: Be prepared to spend a whole shift with them. Sat in lobby for 1+hr, then they took X-rays, sat for another 15-20, Dental hygienist came & poked my teeth hard like she wasn’t interested in what she does. Kept being seen every 10-15 mins. Finally I was told the implant/bridge specialist was busy so someone else has to come quickly explain the process & cost. Then I was asked if I want to make an appointment for a bridge. I just found out what a bridge is 5 mins ago & you want an appointment!! The main dentist seemed rushed & spitting out facts instead of hearing my questions. Left & I’ve called asked 3-4 times for copies of the itero scans & no one has answered. The ppl taking calls are a 3rd party company. They’ve told me to go to the office to get what I need. Found another dentist since I need an implant and they’d have to refer me out. Compared to the 2nd dentist, glad I didn’t end up working with this office. (Left this review for friend)

Negative experience: Went in yesterday, got a cleaning and a filling. They took 3 hours to get me out of there and it took 5 minutes for each job to be done. That is ridiculous. Plus filling didn’t even last 8 hours and came off on its own while sleeping. I guess they didn’t do it right. Don’t waste your time here. Not recommended

Negative experience: Came on Friday to set appointment up for me my daughter. Was told to come on Monday after getting insurance corrected. Came just to found out that after getting X-rays that my insurance didn’t cover me and was ask to change my plan. What a joke really. Then my son had the only insurance verification and was told he needed to pay $210 for a deep cleaning. He has Medicaid. In which they know Medicaid doesn’t even cover that. So frustrated. I had to come in with my son young adult to make sure he wasn’t going to get screwed over. Just because he was young they thought they could pull a fast one. Who knows we may get a bill for something that is supposed to be free. Cleaning that’s all!

Fantastic experience: It was a great experience. Dr Renuka was so kind and helping get my teeth get fixed. Gio the assistant was really helpful and kind. Francys was also helpful when it came about money !!! and she helped finances my remaining treatment with their new finance that is called accept care. It is a lot of money but someone she helped me get monthly payments that way I can get started with my treatment asap. Thank you so much I would definitely be coming back here this is my dentist for now on.

Negative experience: Terrible experience. Went for a 6 month cleaning in July of 2023. Spent an hour in the chair just waiting for the dentist and was told to reschedule after they found I needed a filling. Went a week later and spent 2 hours in the chair waiting for someone to get to me and do their job. Also was told 100% my insurance would cover all procedures and received a $500 bill afterwards. Overall poorly run and dishonest employees

Negative experience: One of the worst dental offices I've been to. After two hours of waiting they hadn't evens started my dental cleaning. They have no concern for other people's time and they want to make different appointments for each procedure you need done. I would not recommend going to this location if you use Jefferson dental.

Negative experience: I do not recommend it here I went to get my tooth checked because it cracked my appointment was at 3 I waited three hours for them to come and check my teeth for them to only take 10 seconds of their time to just to tell me that I had to pay 2000 dollars they did not even take the time to ask me anything. They just said the treatment is 2000 and walked away. and they did not even check the tooth that needed to be checked. They were checking other things that I did not need and told them that I did not want. these people all they want to do is take your money I do not recommend this Office for dentist

Negative experience: The only thing good about this place is the supporting staff. I saw 3 different dentist and got 3 different treatment plans. I have spent thousands of dollars and still have problems they didn't fix and a partial that I can't wear. I have to go to another dentist to get it all fixed and pay more money. Then I get a bill for over $500 for an $800 deep cleaning. Are you kidding me? Please don't waste your time and most of all your money going here.

The doctor was very nice and respectful and was very knowledgeable and shared the information that concerned me to where I could understand what was going on! They also helped me with financing and walled me though each step and made sure I understood what my options were as well as they were diligent and dedicated to my needs. So compassionate, gentle, and understanding of my personal needs! Fantastic experience: I came here in desperation! Everyone here is so friendly & helpful. I felt comfortable being here. The doctor is great! Friendly & gentle . Explains steps well. I definitely did not want to be here but was able to relax & endure the process. Thank you all for making my visits more comfortable.

Fantastic experience: My Hygienist Today 04/28/2023 Was Maya and she was a sweet heart from start to finish doing the little things as to checking on me while she took pictures and was just making sure that I was comfortable (as to me be pregnant) throughout my visit offered me water and ect. She was giving good energy . :)

Negative experience: I truly believe all these 5 star reviews are fake. I'll never use this location again. UPDATE: Nope! They try to charge you for supposedly not getting paid from insurance, and they harass you about insurance not paying. We switched dental services and had 100% zero problems with our insurance at our new dentist office. As well as better service and way more affordable!! No ma'am! Don't use this location.

Fantastic experience: Such nice treatment. Felt embarrassed to have such a long time in between but was treated with such open arms and not an “why did you come sooner” attitude. Making this be my place for all my teeth needs from now on.

Dr Renuka was very kind and knowledgeable. Alondra helped me book my next appointment and the manager Camiya was great with helping us get started. A very great and comprehensive team!

Negative experience: If I could give this place 0 stars i WOULD! Talking about we called you to confirm your appointment and no reply so we put you on the side? Hello? Do you guys realize that people work? And still call during work hours? Do i have to mention to someone TWICE that I will be coming at the exact date and time? If I make an appointment for a specific date and time it’s because I am willing to come. If I can’t make it then I will call and cancel or reschedule logic no? No wonder why they got some many bad reviews, red flag!
