Fantastic experience: As someone who is scared of dentists, this is easily the kindest, and most caring experience I’ve had at a dental surgery. I’ve been here 3 times, every time is less stressful than a regular dentist visit. The work is top notch too.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Dr Gil Ivry and his superbly trained team of professionals. I have had many extractions over the past three years as I undergo an intensive restoration process and all were complicated procedures involving complicated and dated bridge work as well as seven recent implants. All work was performed with precision and expertise and grace with a minimal amount of pain. He is a kind and compassionate oral surgeon and my recovery time from all procedures has been minimal and again with little or no lasting pain and absolutely no healing issues. I sincerely wish I had had had the opportunity to avail myself of his services a few decades ago!

Fantastic experience: I recommend this office. I had my wisdom teeth removed here under general anesthesia. Everything went smoothly except there was an issue with sending the medication to the pharmacy. Martha was very kind and helpful in sorting out the issue quickly. For future patients I recommend seeing if you can get the prescription before surgery, or make a plan for going to the pharmacy right after.

Fantastic experience: My experience was wonderful. 1. Front Desk employees were very helpful there were a few answers I left out on some forms with their help the forms were completed 2. Jeanie took me into the exam room She explained we were going to take a cone beam Xray. Offered me water and gave me an antibiotic. 3. Dr Ting came in. We chatted about the exam and went over the CT scan 4. Went to the surgery suite and was greeted by Yumi, Ed, and Tanya. Next Dr Ting gave me numbing injections. Fantastic experience: I can't believe I am saying that I had a really great experience having a tooth extracted and bone grafting yesterday. I was dreading it but it went so well. Dr. Vajda is so caring, informative, and careful to make things as painless as possible. His assistants, Edmond and Danny were really friendly, distracted me while I was having the numbing shots, chatted with me while I was numbing up, answered my questions about things I was concerned about post surgery. Dr. Vajda told me how things were going as the procedure went along and what to expect. I was amazed that it all went so easily. It is the next day and I feel great which I also was not expecting. I have had friends prepare me for the pain, swelling, bruising and lack of energy I would have. I have yet to have any of that. Thank you Dr. Vajda, Edmond and Danny and the staff out front for making this all way better that I could have imagined.

I've had truly awful dental experiences in the past and anticipated EXCRUCIATING pain. Not here! Fantastic experience: Dr Tanner and his team are AMAZING! This was my first implant and I was very nervous.. His team not only made me feel comfortable...but welcomed. They played music of my choice..Hawaiian..which really helped with my nerves. Throughout the porocedure Dr Tanner would check to see how I was doing...no pain whatsoever...I was surprised when he said we were done...I'm really glad I found Dr Tanner and his team.

Fantastic experience: Nobody wants to start their day with a tooth extraction and bone graft but if that’s the way it has to be, then these are the people you want doing it. They accommodated me for a last minute appointment for which I was grateful. All of the front office staff are friendly and helpful. Dr.Ivry was very clear in his communication about the procedure and my options and costs were outlined clearly before the procedure. Dr.Ivry was ably assisted by Rosa and Yumi all of whom were great. I opted for local anesthesia and they talked my through the procedure as it was happening and made sure I wasn’t in any real discomfort. The procedure itself was very quick in an efficient kind of way not in a rushed kind of way. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I had such a good experience with Dr. Ting. I had To have an extraction and he made it easy and painless. He was so considerate. He took the time to explain to meet what he was going to be doing and helped me to figure out the plan for the implant. He also had the temporary appliance expedited because I was going to be leaving the country a week after the surgery. The day after the surgery, I was Already referring people to him. I felt very safe and comfortable under his care. I highly recommend Dr. Ting.

Fantastic experience: Dr Howard Park , and the Santa Monica Center for oral surgery is a perfect place to visit should you need an extraction or implant,, etc. The office works like a well-oiled machine: from the moment you walk in …to the moment you exit the suite , all of your needs are taken care of. The staff are all friendly and well informed. The office is beautiful. And the best part is that my extraction was painless and occurred in probably less than One minute. I always see Dr Park, but I hear that all of the doctors here are excellent. I cannot say enough positive things about this practice.

Fantastic experience: I kept putting off having my tooth extracted. I was referred to Dr. Vajda by my ex, who had just had the same tooth extracted. Dr. Vajda has quite an impressive resume! After reading that and hearing about the great experience my ex had, I made the decision to go to him. The office and “team” were exceptional. Dr. Vajda went over my X-rays and gave me different options- which I appreciated. I was nervous (I’m not afraid of the dentist but I’d never had an extraction). I didn’t want gas or sedation. That’s another reason I chose this doctor. I felt no pain during the procedure. Anita on his team was so comforting (she held my hand! Ha!). The procedure didn’t take long and I had quite a bit of infection. I’ve had very little discomfort. I didn’t need the pain meds. Just taking 800 mg ibuprofen. Not much bleeding either! I have the option of an implant and I will definitely be going back to Dr. Vajda. It was the best experience I could have hoped for. I highly recommend them. Thank you!!!

Negative experience: Please do something about your automated messaging. I receive far too many “please confirm appt” emails and texts (averaging one per day!), even after confirming. This is a waste of my time annd extremely irritating. Once I’ve confirmed thru the system I expect to be left alone.

Fantastic experience: SM Center for Oral Surgery is very well organized and efficient group practice offering high quality patient care. The front office is serene and staffed with professional personnel. On the initial visit, Dr. Tanner patiently answered my questions and instilled confidence. My extraction and implant procedures were quick with no pain and minimal post op swelling and discomfort. Many months later, I had a small glitch with the healing cap and crown and Dr. Ting kindly squeezed me into his schedule without any wait and took care of it easily. I am very satisfied with the treatment I received.

Fantastic experience: I went to Santa Monica center for oral surgery to get my wisdom teeth removed. When I went the staff was all very welcoming and kind! My team was with Ed and Emily and they were both very helpful. I was very nervous at first but they made me feel much more comfortable and calm as I was there. I got a lot of helpful information and they ran me through everything wonderfully!! Dr.Avery was quick with the procedure and talked me through it all!!! I 100% suggest coming here! I had a wonderful experience.

Fantastic experience: Getting a dental implant is not on my 'favorite-thing-to-do' list but the staff at the SM Center for Oral Surgery do their utmost to make the process as pleasant as possible. The offices are beautiful and everyone working there seems to have the patient's best interest in mind. Dr. Ting did a wonderful job explaining the procedure to me and making sure I was comfortable throughout. I can highly recommend Dr. Ting and the entire staff at the SM Center. I couldn't have been more pleased with the entire procedure.

Fantastic experience: I was very impressed with the professionalism and efficiency of the entire process, from consultation to post surgery. Everyone was professional and caring. I felt very safe and well taken care of. I also appreciated Dr. Ivry telling me what he was doing and what to expect as he was doing the surgery. Much less scary. Thank you to the entire team!! The post surgical call by Dr. Ivry the evening of surgery was sooo appreciated! A few minutes of a phone call, made a huge impact and made it personal.

Fantastic experience: I couldn’t ask for a better team lead by Dr.Vadja. He took the time to answer every question I had concerning my extraction and subsequent implant. In both instances, his assistants from reception to surgery were so outstanding and postive. I had extreme anxiety about the procedure, and they were all so kind and supportive throughout. Dr. Vadja really put me at ease and performed all stages of the restoration at the highest professional level. Fantastic experience: Very easy and positive experience. My son had to have 5 impacted wisdom teeth removed (yes 5). Went there twice and both times they made me feel very comfortable and most important they made him feel comfortable. Dr. Vajda explained everything. After the procedure the nurse was great. Office staff was extremely nice. Thank you Dr. Vajda and staff.

Fantastic experience: These Doctors and staff are beyond amazing. I had to have a tooth pulled that was infected yesterday. I didn’t even feel the shots! Yesterday and today I didn’t even need pain meds. I’ve had some horrible experiences at other places with swelling and pain afterwards but not this time. I can’t believe that I had a tooth pulled yesterday! Yesterday my doctor was Dr Ivry but I also had an implant with Dr Tanner years ago and he was fantastic also!

Fantastic experience: Dr Howard Park is absolutely AMAZING!! Most recently, the extraction of my infected molar took about a minute and it was done so masterfully that I did not need to take Advil even. Let alone any stronger pain painkillers. In the past, Dr. Park has done two implants for me and they were performed equally wonderfully and smoothly. Thank you so much, Dr. Park!

Fantastic experience: Following my tooth extraction and bone graft, I returned for an implant and was relieved to experience the best care from Dr. Ryan and Jackie. I experienced minimal discomfort following the invasive procedure, and was able to go on about my normal life the next morning!
