Fantastic experience: I was impressed with the excellent care I received. Very friendly staff. I needed a crown and I didn’t have much time as I had another appointment to go to. My tooth was prepped and a temporary crown was all done within 35 minutes. Unbelievable! I was able to get to my next appointment on time. Thank you Dr. Shuayb, Carter and all. Definitely will recommend you.The assistance Carter was well trained.

Fantastic experience: The hygienist, Tricia, is delightful, thorough and friendly in a non-intrusive way. My teeth haven’t felt this clean or good in a long time. The hygienist I got last time was rude and not very effective. I liked the Dr. Shuayb I saw briefly, but if I had gotten the same hygienist, I intended to change dentists - since really all I ever see is the person who cleans my teeth. After that first experience, Tricia was literally a breath of fresh air. The Crystal River location is lucky to have Tricia!

Fantastic experience: My appointment was to exchange two temporary crowns for the permanent ones. Between the dental assistant and Dr Shuayb, the procedure was done in a short amount of time and with no pain. I have not had any problems with this office and find everybody to be friendly and helpful.

Positive experience: I have to go back on Thursday. I question the service I have had every three months for 4 years. Now it appears I need an extraction, and at least 4 fillings. I am not happy.....Cleaning every 3 months and there you go...Did all this happen in 3 months? I think not. I just read the response to my review. I have never skipped an appt. I have had my teeth cleaned every 3 months and asked after each cleaning how do they look oh there is some bone loss however, the teeth look good. After meeting with the Dentist I am now told at least 2 extractions and several fillings. I have made an appointment with a Oral Surgeon....I will not be back after 6 plus years...Get you response correct.

Fantastic experience: I broke my bottom Denture in half and they were able to fix it in Less than a Day. The staff was Very nice and Respectful to me. I'll Definitely be using them for all my Dental needs

Fantastic experience: I had a lot of pain from an infection, the staff there are very nice, bit of a wait but I left with a prescription and an understanding of what next steps were.

Negative experience: Very disappointed and dissatisfied with the service. Poor craftsmanship on the dentures. They have refused to fix other mistakes they made without charging me.

Fantastic experience: Left another dental practice to follow my hygienist, with whom I've been going to for over 30 years! Once I was there (yesterday), I realized that also the dentist was from the other practice, who had also left. So, it was a win-win for me. They have a great admin staff, very willing to help and very pleasant! The tech I had was also a great one. I guess that makes it a win-win-win for me! Don't hesitate to make your first appointment there. You won't be disappointed and they take most dental insurance.

Negative experience: I initially went in to get my teeth cleaned no toothaches or anything. The girl told me I needed to have my back tooth recaped. They did not explain why. I went in to have it done. I had gotten my insurance quote of $256 at most. They wanted to charge me over $800. I got upset about it and they dropped it down to a little over 400 and luckily I just had that. So I got it done they put a temporary on there, I did okay with that. Went in to have the permanent one put on, the girl came in and took the temporary one off and I was immediately in severe pain! She said I'm sorry the doctor is not in we have to wait till he gets in to give you something! Luckily there was some girl there that was able to give me a shot to calm the nerves down. At that point the doctor came in and commenced to putting the permanent one on there I was in very bad pain when anesthetic wore off. I called the girl immediately the next day she said there was no doctor in and could not do anything about it. I finally got an appointment 5 days later. I went all weekend with the pain. Long story short I went in to have something done with it the doctor told me I had a crack in my tooth! (It had been there prior that's why I needed it to be recapped apparently..)He said I needed to have a root canal and was sending me out to a specialist. I said I want it pulled they wanted to charge me a ton of money they finally cut the money down to $78 so I can get my tooth pulled I got to the front desk and they said I didn't owe anything that I had a credit! I had my tooth pulled over a week ago it bled for 3 days badly! I've got an infection in it and it hurts daily I called and she called in some Tylenol 3. She then told me that I refused the pain medication. I never refused pain medication. I told the lady I could not take certain medications because I was allergic with anaphylaxis. I will never ever go back to these people. Lot more stuff went on in between all of this I would not recommend anybody going there! They charge you a lot more than what your insurance says they should and they will not take good care of you. Like I said I called the girl I told her my mouth was bleeding very bad and in pain and would not do anything about the bleeding and only called in Tylenol 3 and it still hurt. Beware!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Shuayb and his staff are very professional and friendly. They give excellent service. Dr. Shuayb is fast and efficient and almost pain free. His Hygienist, Gina is very good, also. Thank you for the excellent care.

Fantastic experience: We were there for a partial exam for my wife. It was very busy. A sign at the desk attributed it to being short handed. The staff was very nice, and so was Dr. Shuayb. I would definitely recommend them!

Fantastic experience: Made an appointment to have my lower partial adjusted and was taken in within 10 minutes. Adjustment was done and I was finished all within 20 minutes of my arrival. Shuayb dental is the best!

Negative experience: Went for regular cleaning insurance covered, took XRays no problems. Dentist late for my appointment, waited in chair for 15min, I asked why? they try to upsell me on services I didn't need...left without getting any services! Poor quality office...ugh

One star says it..they don't have a zero..uhhh yes I was just in there..and I am going to another dentist and I'm starting over..I noticed on these reviews you tend to be unprofessional about your responses that tells me alot..but anyway thankyou for your response it's much appreciated..I'm sorry your a miserable unprofessional human....

Fantastic experience: New to this practice, came in for a dental clearance before knee surgery and a consult. It was an extremely busy morning but everyone I saw took time with me, answered all questions, listened to my concerns. I’ve scheduled needed work with this office and am confident all will go well, at a price point I feel is reasonable. Update: first part of work done. I’m an extremely nervous patient but work on my crowns was done quickly and painlessly, not even any next day soreness. More work to be done and I won’t hesitate to come back. Great team!

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure (weird using that term when referring to the dentist) of going here for a routine cleaning. All I can say is that this was by far the best experience I have had at a dentist office. Everyone there was very kind and caring. Fortunately for me, Allison was the one who performed my cleaning and she is genuinely the nicest, gentlest, and most caring person I have ever had perform dental work on me. She ensured I was comfortable throughout the entire process and always explained what she was doing and what was to come. Honestly, I could not have asked for a better experience! Fantastic experience: I went in for my permanent bridge & crown placement. Kristin greeted me and prepped me for my procedure. She was very helpful in informing me about the process. Everything went well & I saw the Dentist right away. He made sure I was satisfied with everything and made me very comfortable. I haven’t had any issues since although it has only been a couple of days. I’m very satisfied with my experience here.

Positive experience: Everyone was very friendly. We had to wait a bit before we were called in for X-rays. We were glad to see that our hygienist from our previous dentist was at this location. They worked carefully to accommodate us with a wheelchair.

Negative experience: Well i had to switch to a new ins company for 2025. I went in to have x-rays done and then a cleaning. And the dentist office knew I only have a $2000.00 limit for dental services a year. So did those two things went back to see the dentist to see what's the next steps would be. They gave me the bill for $17,626.80 knowing very well my limit was $2000.00 less than that now since they did a cleaning and x-rays. So, then the lady sent in a bill to see what the ins will cover A bill for $6532.00 know very well i had less than $2000.00 now so the ins coming denied the bill. The dentist came in and said the amount of the bill and said as he was walking out the door call me when i wanted my teeth pulled out. So, i had to find another dentist office and then the new dentist office said i would need to get the old dentist office to send me the X-Rays and then i would send them from me. Well, the old dentist tried to tell me they sent them to me and said they sent all the pics the first time. What they sent me was all the x-rays' pics combined all together the new dentist said they need to send them one at a time. And then the old dentist office wanted to argue with me that that's how they are sent out all the time. So, the one lady called the new dentist office, and it turns out they was sending the x-rays the wrong way they are now using a different system. But they were making it sound like i didn't know what i was talking about. All this dentist office is about is trying to charge their outrageous prices out to their clients. By charging these huge prices when it can be done cheaper. People like me don't have $17,626.80 dollars in their back pocket and can't get a loan for that kind of money. The best advice i can say is to watch your bill like a hawk.... And make sure they fix your teeth and not let them push the high cost nor let them talk you into stuff that can wait just stick to fixing people's teeth at prices people can afford. I will never use them ever again how about caring for your clients and not your thick wallets!!!

Fantastic experience: while it took awhile for the dentist to free up to complete my crown. they are always attentive to my needs, fast during the procedures and do a great job advocating for me as a patient.

Positive experience: I had a new patient appointment at 3:30pm and was pulled back at 3:40pm so that was pretty good considering the normal new patient wait times I've had before. He was very thorough and I didn't get the feeling he was throwing out lists of problems just to make money. He identified problems and let me know what would need to be done. (There were actually less problems found than at my previous dentist) I only left my previous dentist because my dentist had retired after having her for 13 years and a bigger corporation bought them. The staff was nice and it seemed well ran. It was only my first appointment so I don't know a lot except for my first appointment. They also did panoramic X-rays which I really like because they're more detailed and my other dentists office didn't do them. Pricing was about the same as my other office and I have 2 dental insurances.

The office staff is always very nice and value my time, I am always taken in at my scheduled appointment time which has been a refreshing difference from past experiences. The office is clean and updated and I would (and have many times) recommend them for all your dental needs.

Positive experience: I chipped my front tooth. I called and was told to come in and they would work me in. Unfortunately they said tooth couldn't be repaired and other front tooth had large cavity and both would have to be capped. They were able to get it all completed same day as they make the caps on site. I give 4 stars instead of 5 because I felt they were very high on prices. Staff was very kind.

Positive experience: Yes , I have a superb dentist, fast ,efficient and pleasant One drawback, I have yet to go for an appointment and not wait at least an hour before they start what I came in for. I feel a fifteen minute wait is plenty of waiting time. My time is very important ,also I feel overbooking is a problem. With this said , I appreciate the pleasant staff and the fact that I have a trusted dentist.

I started using Shuayb dental when our discount plan suggested them for some work my husband needed.At that time we didn't know about all their offices so we went to their Spring Hill office. After my husband got such good care, I starting using them. The next year we started using their Brooksville office. Then, they opened their new office in Crystal River, thank you! It's close for all Citrus County residents and easy to find. I highly recommend them. Updated news 12-23-2024: I've heard they are opening an office in Inverness. Watch fir grand opening.

Negative experience: First pair of dentures fit well however they broke after almost 3 years. New pair has been hurting causing blisters in my mouth does not fit at all. They had me come back to file them a cpl of times however that isn't the problem. They are the wrong size. I had to pay cash for this 2nd set of dentures and they refuse to help me. I'm going to call the BBB. I can't eat. They don't stay in I have blisters. This has been by far the worst experience of my life.
