Fantastic experience: Had a very positive, friendly and professional experience with Dr. Tirani and DA Nelly. Dr. Tirani was friendly and interacted with me and made me feel comfortable. Thank you so much.

Fantastic experience: This was my first time coming to Risas Dental. The front staff were nice. Carmina called me back and got my visit started. I had some questions and concerns she took to the doctor. Carmina addressed my concerns and answered my questions and made me feel so comfortable. Dr. Shah came to treat my problem. He was very personable with great bedside manner. We discussed options to my problem, came up with a plan and then he and Carmina executed that plan perfectly! I am so happy that I went to Risas Dental. I would absolutely trust them with my dental needs again and again!! Thank you Carmina and Dr Shah!!

Negative experience: We have been coming to this location for a few years now. We’ve had two of our kids get braces. My 14 year old daughter has had braces on now for a while, they are bring on of her tooth to the front. We had an appointment yesterday, waited almost an hour. They did some stuff to her braces and put some stuff in the back of her mouth so she doesn’t have a closed mouth all the way. We live in Maricopa. So we left at about 6:30, we came back to the office at 7:10 because a piece fell out. We waited almost till 8 they fixed it. We were on our way back home, and the other side of her braces fell out. We couldn’t go back because it was closed. So today we called and they said they can’t do nothing about it because the orth Dr isn’t in, she can go in tomorrow (Friday) the 11th at 2pm and miss school or the 18 or 27 of December. She can’t eat or close her mouth right. I mean seriously?!? They took our $3000 like nothing but they can’t fix it? They obviously didn’t do the right thing the 1st or 2nd time. I’m so feed up with this, I would go somewhere else but we paid everything in full so we can’t just change dentist. They need to hire people who know what they are doing! ((Both Drs are very nice and have good communication but other than that something here isn’t going to good)) hire people with experience please!

Negative experience: I seen Doctor Tirani. During the visit the two front desk staff were amazing and I believe the dental tech or hygienist was amazing they were caring and compassionate. The concerns I have is with the doctor. 1. He came into my room and did not introduce himself, he stood at the head of the chair while I had to turn my head (when I was in excruciating pain ) to catch a glimpse of him. He never came in front of me I couldn't tell you what race/nationality this doctor was. (I only knew his name because he wrote it on a referral to a endodontist) 2. He was not compassionate to my excruciating pain, he stood behind the chair the whole time looking at xrays and talking to the dental assistant. Prior to him coming in to see me, the dental assistant gave me a topical numbing gel due to the pain I was in. He then comes in the room and do a bite test and tapped on a few teeth and asked could I feel it I said no because she just numbed it not long ago. 3. He said based on symptoms and examination I have a vertical tooth fracture. He did not elaborate on what that was. He had a lack of communication with me. I had to ask all the questions. He said I will give you motrin and a antibiotic neither did he say what the antibiotic was for I had to ask. I asked could he just pull the tooth he stated no because he did not know what tooth it was and he referred me to a endodontist because they have a cbct that can pinpoint the exact tooth that has the vertical fracture. He proceeded to tell me after the endodontist do their portion of my dental work to come back to him for root canal and filings.He did not offer to give me a shot of lidocaine of anything for the severe pain that I was in. The hygienist gave me cut up cotton balls with topical lidocaine solution to take home and use. As the doctor did not even suggest that. 4. The next day 12-5-25. I called off work (which i was trying to avoid thats why I went to risas the day before on 12-4-25) and went to see a endodontist as he referred me to. They did xrays and found I had two severely decayed cavities and that I needed two root canals. I asked did I need the cbct scan and did my two teeth have a vertical fractured. He stated I did not need a scan and there was no vertical tooth fracture as Doctor tirani mentioned. That endodontist cancelled some of his appts that day to do my two root canals as he seen how much pain I was in. Now I have to take off work again two more times and go to my regular dentist to get filings and crowns on those two teeth. This has really been frustrating trying to function and make calls to find a available endodontist today that could fit me in while having excruciating pain. All of this could of been done at your chandler location to save me time, money, missed work and pain. This is why I came to your location after work because you guys are open late and do emergency dental services. Doctor Tirani bedside manners was very displeasing. It is very hard for me to take off work and this is why I chose risas due to the times you are open, it's conducive with my work schedule late evenings and weekends. I also, want to report him to the dental board. No patient in pain should have to come in and be treated unfairly. I believe doctor tirani just did not want to do the work do to my appointment being at 6pm and the clinic closing at 8pm. I respectfully request that a adjustment be made to my insurance for that visit for unperformed work that Dr. Tirani chose not to do even though he is licensed to perform root canals and I'm also asking if another dentist can do my two filings and two crowns at no charge due to the amount of inconvenience I had to endure. Lastly, also any corrective actions your office can do to doctor Tirani so other patients don't have to go through what I went through. I would like to resolve this matter as soon as possible Thank you for your attention to this issue.

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff and willing to help out any way. Doctor Farbod and assistant, Gali, made me feel at ease.

Negative experience: Waste of time. After visiting this facility for examination I will not be returning for treatment. Upon our first engagement I was promised a 33% off discount, the following day when I came in to have my treatment I was informed that I needed to pay ahead to lock down the appointment. Never in my life have I been asked to pay for a service ahead of the service being completed. Other dentists don't do it, car mechanics don't do it, plumbers don't do it, what is wrong with this facility? I'll tell you what, it stinks to high heaven. Promised great prices, demanded payment prior to treatment,The professional face is a guise to hide a corrupt system. Life lesson, don't pay until the service is done.

Negative experience: Terrible customer service. They refuse to work with you and simply hang up. I would recommend Nathan Davis Orthodontics or E&S Orthodontics in Chandler for orthodontic checkups. They are friendly and explain everything clearly

Fantastic experience: Doctor Tirani and Carmina are so amazing. I haven’t had a dental cleaning in about 4 years because I ran out of insurance and dental bills can be high. They were able to accommodate prices for my needs and did an amazing job. Definitely will be coming back!!

Negative experience: Excessive wait times even with an appointment, scheduling is hit or miss, staff using the front of the office like it’s their personal space. Was once my favorite dental place now I don’t even want to continue treatment.

Fantastic experience: Today was Labor of love where they provide select free dental services. I got there and the process was so streamline and they provided breakfast burritos and donuts and coffee! My doctor was Dr Tirani and his assistant was Nelly- they made me feel welcomed and did a great job.

Negative experience: I came to get all my wisdom teeth removed, turns out they only wanted to take out the right side top and bottom, i advocated for myself that I would like to get them all removed bc I don’t want to do this procedure again… oral surgeon Adam was very short answered with any questions I had regarding the procedure.. he told me to pray to god my other wisdom teeth don’t give me issues in the future??? Right doesn’t sound that professional. I ended coming back for an emergency visit for my bottom extraction as I believe it has a dry socket and the pain is unbelievable! I waited in the waiting room for 2 and half hours crying in pain. Past the two hour mark I was told it would be another hour??! I would not let my patient sit in my office crying in pain, how does that make the office look?? i definitely would not recommend this office.

Negative experience: After being quoted nearly $2,000 for work needing done I agreed being it has been at least 10 years since I've been to a dentist and set up a payment plan assuming my main reason for the visit would be taken care of. The work was to be done in separate visits. My initial visit I had a deep cleaning in two quadrants of my mouth and the next visit was supposed to be the opposite side of my mouth but instead the dentist decided he wanted to do fillings instead. For some reason a week later the teeth he put fillings in HURT. This for me is concerning because they never hurt initially. I came here to get relief from pain sadly which I'll explain right now.... I am actually very upset because the main reason I came here was because I have a wisdom tooth that is hurting me and it turns out they cannot treat it because it has to be surgically removed. I understand it's out of their control but never would have I agreed to spend $2,000 on dental work had I known they wouldn't be able to treat what's really bothering me in the first place, so now I'm sitting here at 4am in pain instead of having the relief I so badly need, I have to work later this morning, can't sleep because of the pain, and still owe $1,500. I am starting to feel disappointed and depressed over all of this. I also don't appreciate having braces pushed on me every visit. Not having super straight or aligned teeth is not detrimental to ones health.... The staff is great however....

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to the Chandler location for the past two years now! Dr. Davis is extremely thorough when you mention any concerns to him. I am so glad he was recommended to me for my second opinion with braces. His dental assistant Carmina is very friendly and was patient with my two kids! She greeted us with a big smile and communicated with my (shy) five year old to make her as comfortable as possible as well! Definitely recommend Dr. Davis and his assistant Carmina.

I especially want to thank doctor davis and assistant eliana for being so nice & guiding throughout my journey. During the process of taking off my braces eliana made sure i was not in any discomfort and walked me through the steps all the way.

Negative experience: They don’t value patients time. Every single time we come they are running late. They of course don’t share this with us upon check in so we are left sitting for up to an hour before being seen. However, if you call the day of your appointment to reschedule due to an illness etc. they will charge you a fee for canceling or rescheduling.

Negative experience: Horrible experience!!! Should finish the job correctly instead of charging patients upscale on the services you want to fuel your business. Scares me to live in a world where you can't even trust your doctor!!!

Fantastic experience: Torn between orthodontist choices? We have had NOTHING BUT POSITIVE EXPERIENCES at Risas! We have a LOT of kids. FIVE kids have had braces. TWO got braces at other offices and THREE got braces here at Risas. What's our verdict? We wish we had discovered Risas before taking our older two kids to other orthodontists. The staff here is friendly, caring, and thoughtful. I give them FIVE well-earned stars. Now I'm getting MY braces done at Risas. After our FOUR excellent experiences with Risas, we intend to have our younger kids get braces here. We have four more kids that will need braces and we will have Risas do their braces. We heard about Risas after our friends had their three kids get braces here. They had only positive experiences as well.

Negative experience: If I could give this place a -5 review I would. I tried to be open to human error but the people that work at here are just slow. Each tike my daughter left this dental office there was always something breaking or missing on her braces. Over charges on payments and missing up appointment dates and or times. They would change my apt. with no communication because the dentist went on vacation. Like huh? That thing that drew the line with me was them telling me and my daughter to YouTube how to fix a something and put on rubber bands. When I called to voice my concern, I was on hold for over an hour, and no one ever followed up. When I tried reaching back out, I was told a manager would call me and that never happened. I then go fed up and canceled my contract with them and even then no one responded back. I have emailed them and called them for months and no response. I would not recommend them to anyone. Especially people coming in from out of town/state who are use to have good services provided. They lack communication here and professional work ethics.

Negative experience: The 1 hour +wait time in the lobby is crazy! The girls at the front desk are nice , but hard to have a conversation with because their desk are turned backwards.and they totally ignore the fact you have been sitting and waiting for hours before you can been seen …The lobby is full and no seating .

Negative experience: Run! The savings is not birth it. Every time I need to make an appointment for my daughter’s braces they are booked 60+ days out. This is definitely going put back the 2yr timeframe. More like 4 yr time frame. Ridiculous!

Negative experience: I really appreciate that Risas does a community assistance day (labor of love). Sadly, my good experience ends there. I've got a severe dislike for dentist to start with, and it's turned into anxiety. Needless to say, I did my research and looked up their labor of love website for any FAQs, tips or warnings. I didn't see anything which would exclude me, so I decided to attend. 3 hours of waiting only to be turned away for high blood pressure. Doctor wouldn't even see me to tell me he was turning me away, or for me to ask for a retest once the anxiety calmed in a few minutes. I would totally understand if I was near the front of the line and keeping other people from getting processed, but I was probably the 2nd to last group to go in. I plead my case to the assistant, but "the doctor has made up his mind", to which I was handed a referral and a "gift" card for my next procedure. I use "gift" loosely, because it's 100% useless to me (since they won't ever see me with the anxiety and bp, AND because the procedure is going to cost more than the gift card). Needless to say, after feeling a huge letdown, frustrated, and hopeless, I hope someone in the staff will read this and hopefully, in the future events, include some of these details which will prevent service on the faq

Negative experience: if i could give 0 starts i would. my kids went here. They had multiple issues with their braces. my daughters brackets kept coming off. my sons wires kept coming out. THEY WILL NOT MAKE APPOINTMENTS FOR ANYTHING. WE HAD TO WAIT 8 hours. You have to sit there all day and wait. it's like we have your money so we don't care. office reminds me of waiting at the one clinic that took medicare as a kid. There's so many other places you could go to who are amazing. Dunn being one of them.

Negative experience: when I arrived on my appt. ON TIME I wanted 45mins in the lobby when finally taken back and wanted 30mins then I was told they were running behind. wanted another 30mims to see the dentist but couldn't stay for the general cleaning because I didn't have time.

Fantastic experience: Everyone on the team was so friendly, helpful, and attentive! They got me right back at my appointment time, very quick and efficient. I always get nervous going to the dentist but Dr Hindi took his time to answer the questions I had and explain everything. Would recommend to anyone needing a dentist!

Fantastic experience: I went to Risas on Ray Rd in Chandler & the assistant who did most of the work was Juanita! She was so professional, smart & I’m pretty sure she knows as much as the dentists. She’s been working there a long time. She’s amazing & knew exactly what she’s doing. She should at the least, a Supervisor. I’ve had her before & has helped me when others couldn’t. Negative experience: Our 18 year old son hadn’t had a cleaning in 3+ years (moving, insurance, etc please don’t judge) so I made an appt for him at Risas. Since he’s 18, I had him go in on his own without a parent. He came home and told me that he waited for an hour to be seen, then his cleaning took all but 5 mins. Huh? Cleanings are always upwards of an hour in my experience. He said that after x-rays the dentist (not a hygienist) put a cream on his teeth, brushed it off and sent him on his way. I immediately called the office and while they apologized for the long wait due to being short staffed, I was told that the dentist determined that “his teeth were already pretty clean and didn’t need any scraping”. WOW. 3 years without a cleaning on a teenage boy and you’re telling me he didn’t need any scraping?? Mind you this was a determination made by the DENTIST himself. It was made clear to me that because they were admittedly short staffed, he was a young person without a parent present, and we have state-issued AHCCCS insurance they completely took advantage of the situation. Now he no longer has a cleaning available on insurance for another year even though he never got one. I Immediately cancelled the scheduled cleaning we had for our younger son. I don’t make a habit of leaving bad reviews (see my profile) but this was absolutely awful integrity on the part of this dentist.

Negative experience: Constructive Feedback on Orthodontic Appointment Experience I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to share my recent experience at your orthodontic clinic. While I generally don't write reviews, I believe it's important to address concerns that were echoed by several individuals present during our visit. Our scheduled 5 pm appointment ended up with an hour-long wait in the waiting room, which was a bit disheartening. Additionally I observed that some patients who arrived after us were taken back ahead, leading to confusion and frustration. I understand that people are there for several reasons which may impact when someone gets called, but most where also there for ortho which as proven when they showed their new color to their family members. I suggest a thorough review of the scheduling process to identify areas for improvement, especially for orthodontic visits. Despite the extended wait, the front desk staff was pleasant. Considering the number of workers at the front desk—sometimes four or more—I propose exploring cross-training to cover both front and back office responsibilities. This could potentially enhance efficiency and reduce waiting times, making the experience more seamless for everyone. After all each time I have been to the office all they do is engage in conversations with each other. Nothing wrong with that but when there are several clients concerned about the waiting time, it doesn't send a good message. On a positive note, once we were in the treatment room, the experience significantly improved. The orthodontist promptly attended to my child, and the overall process took only 20 minutes. The doctor's demeanor was exceptionally pleasant, and we left with a positive impression. I believe a closer look at scheduling procedures and staff roles could contribute to an even more positive experience for patients. Negative experience: It's almost literally pulling teeth trying to schedule an appointment. All I need is to get my wire removed since I popped a bracket and is poking the inside of my mouth. The lady answering the phone says I have to wait 2 months to see the Doctor, for a procedure that would take less than a minute! Terrible availability! Once my treatment is finished, I will not be returning to Risas.

Negative experience: If you need braces then don’t go to any of the facilities. They take on more clients than they can handle. Maintenance for my daughters braces is suppose to happen monthly and they are always booked out at least two months. It’s hard to get an appointment for regular routine care when you have braces. My daughter is almost done with her treatment plan and my next child will be getting braces but I won’t be returning to Risas. I refuse to wait months to have my child routinely cared for especially when I’m paying $4000 for braces!

Negative experience: I don't do too many reviews. That's annoyed I am. I'm very laid back. Girl at front desk. Rude as all hell. It's too bad. Cuz this dental office seems great but the girls up front are ridiculous. I could go on and on about the situation but just trust me. The girls are rude.

He is a phenomenal doctor, and we have been on a long journey when it comes to my sons, and their braces. But, it is going well, thanks to him. He makes us laugh. And, we enjoy being here. We drive an hour, and 34 minutes to get here, but it is worth it. Thanks, Dr. Davis!

Fantastic experience: I went in to get all 4 wisdom teeth removed and was able to get an appointment that very same day! I experienced very little discomfort during the procedure during which Dr. Bringhurst was amazing! overall good experience and spent less than $200/per tooth extracted.

Fantastic experience: I just had the most delightful appt with Dr. Cho and his teammate Shelem. I received a cleaning and it was quick and efficient. Dr. Cho told me what was going on with my teeth and gums and Shelem was very gentle. I am so happy I came to Risas today to be pampered by this great team!

Negative experience: Came in as a walk-in 2 hours before closing time because last night one of my brackets felt off same day after getting them on my molars, my work schedule makes it impossible for me to get there before 5pm and getting an appointment with Dr. Davis is weeks/month away. I did call ahead to make sure I could come in considering I work/live 30 miles away and I was told it was ok but that it will be a wait, which I completely understand. When I get there the girl in the front desk refuse to check me in, I explained how I call ahead and she said they have a policy were they don’t see walk-ins after 5pm and that Dr. Davis wasn’t in the office until Thursday, (which the girl over the phone did not mention, she even place me on N hold to call the Chandler office to verify), I kept insisting because not only was it uncomfortable to even talk but the wire was cutting the inside of my cheek (tried putting wax but it didn’t help) after she refuse to let me speak to her manager she said the only thing they could do for me was to cut my wire, which anything helps. They weren’t busy at all they only had 2 patients the whole time I was there one before me and one that showed up after me (they both went in before me which I completely understand) but they left me waiting 1hr and 10 mins for a procedure that took them less than “10 seconds” no Dr needed (cutting my wire), while I was practically the only one in the lobby, very unprofessional and disappointing.
