Fantastic experience: My dentist referred me to Dr. Eldin to have an ancient root canal redone. They aren’t in network for my dental insurance, but I trust my dentist so went with them anyway. I have nothing but good things to say. The price charged is very fair for what turned out to be a difficult procedure (ancient technology is hard to replace without breaking everything that needs to stay). The building is easy to find and the parking is easy and free. The staff have been uniformly lovely and a pleasure to speak with. Dr. Eldin was wonderful. He explained everything clearly and was extremely gentle and thorough. I particularly appreciated his old school manners. I once quit a long-time dentist because he was rude and demeaning to his assistant while doing something to my teeth. Hearing Dr. Eldin’s soft voice saying please and thank you to his assistant was music to my ears. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Hill and staff are always totally personable and professional. He just performed a difficult root canal on a wisdom tooth that most dentists recommend just pull the tooth. So with absolutely no pain he saved my tooth and a lot of potential grief in trying to heal a pulled tooth. He uses the latest microscopic technology and Gentlewave procedure, and without any pain whatsoever in my complicated procedure. I highly recommend them.

Hands down, one of the best decisions I’ve made when it comes to dental care. From the very beginning, everyone was so friendly, helpful, and just genuinely professional. Every time I called, they answered the phone with the kind of enthusiasm that made me feel like I’d been a patient there for years. I was on a tight timeline and only had a couple of weeks to get a root canal done, and they were so accommodating about squeezing me in. I literally flew in and flew out just for this, and it was totally worth it. Dr. Rizzo was warm, patient, and super friendly—she made me feel so at ease the whole time. Her assistant Shakita was also incredible. She had me laughing and helped calm my nerves after I told her I had anxiety about the procedure. Fantastic experience: Very impressed. Dr Goodman crowned my cracked molar in 2016 after an accident and it’s still absolutely unnoticeable, just like nothing ever happened. This week I went back for new intense throbbing pain under my other crown which they had not worked on but two other dentists had. This very old crown has plagued me with pain for many years off and on getting unbearable last weekend. SW Endo’s high tech equipment showed what plain X-rays did not, another branch of the root missed in two prior root canals! That branch was infected so badly the tooth next to it was hurting! Dr G fixed it all with experience, technology, and a great team. I’m finally pain free. Feeling very confident with my two crowns now. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I was so nervous to get my first root canal but the staff was so warm and welcoming, they eased my fears immediately. Dr. Hill also made it seem like a walk in the park. I was in and out and honestly can say the worst part was the cray at the end where holding the piece of equipment cut into the roof of my mouth hurt the worst. (This also happened when getting and image at the dentist) I highly recommend this office!

Fantastic experience: I had a temperature sensitive tooth #3. After Dr.Hill evaluation, the actual problem was tooth #30, that tooth #3 grinds against. He performed a root canal on that tooth #30. Problem solved! It’s interesting how brain senses pain from.

Fantastic experience: I made an appointment and was seen within a week. From the front staff, to Mrs. Johnson the assistant, to Dr. Hill, I felt very comfortable in what was a long needed procedure. I was thankful to have relief from 8 months of dealing with this tooth. It was a great experience, and while I hope I don’t need to go back, if I have to, here would be my choice.

Positive experience: Overall I was pleased and impressed. While the nurse seemed to want me to commit to further testing before seeing the MD, the MD was great about not pressuring me to have further (expensive) testing. I was slightly frustrated when I had to pay a fee I thought my insurance covered, but they eventually refunded it after receiving the insurance payment.

Fantastic experience: I had an excellent experience at SW Endo. They were able to fit me in the schedule last minute and even do a treatment the next day. Treatment went very smooth and I have not had any recurring issues. Dr. Hill fixed my pulpitis 100%. He was very informative and polite. Staff was excellent as well, very friendly.

Fantastic experience: If you are looking for an endodontist who embodies ethics, empathy and technical excellence, then you need look no further than Dr. Rizzo and her trusted Technician, Mary. They are 100% focused on the patient, and my story illustrates this: On Tuesday evening, I suddenly had a surging pain in Tooth #31. On Wednesday morning, I saw my generalist, Dr. Massingill (thank you for fitting me in, Trey), who referred me to Dr. Rizzo, who saw me that afternoon. After taking a series of x-rays, Dr. Rizzo explained in lay person’s terms that the tooth could be just really irritated and it could calm down and be fine or on its way to dying, but it was too early to do a root canal on what could be a healthy tooth. I explained that I was scheduled to go skiing on Sunday and the tooth was killing me. With calmness and confidence, Dr. Rizzo explained the medicines I needed to take to mitigate the pain while I went skiing, which should work in two days and to call her with questions, comments or concerns. I started taking the medicine as instructed and the pain dissipated, but would occasionally remind me it was still around. On Friday evening and into Sat morning, however, the severe pain returned. First thing Saturday morning, I called Dr. Rizzo and she actually answered the phone - not a voice mail or answering service - and I could here her kids playing in the background! I was in a rather agitated state not only from the pain but also because I was scheduled to fly out the next day on vacation and did not see how this predicament was going to end well. After walking me off the ledge and reassuring me how we were going to get through it, Dr. Rizzo called me back and asked if I could be at her office by 3:30 that afternoon. Dr. Rizzo had arranged for her Mother to watch her kids as her husband was away - a big thank you to Dr. Rizzo’s mother! - and Mary, Dr. Rizzo’s dental technician, had agreed to come into the office on Sat to assist Dr. Rizzo with the procedure. Amazing!!! Thank you so much, Mary! Dr. Rizzo and Mary them proceeded to put on a technical performance of the highest degree - explaining each step along the way in such an orderly fashion. It was quite impressive. I am now happily submitting this review from slope side and still cannot believe Dr. Rizzo and Mary pulled it off! In a world where it seems there is little caring going on, they certainly stepped up in my time of need, earning the highest possible recommendation! Thank you, Dr. Rizzo and Mary. You are amazing at your profession and are special human beings.

Fantastic experience: Great patient care! Dr. Rizzo was Very helpful in giving me intelligent, honest options for a cracked tooth. Would definitely go to her again. Staff was extremely customer service oriented.

Positive experience: When I first called and i asked if i would br charged for the evaluation, Nell said “ no I won’t be charged but I would be charged for a root canal if decided “ . Not one front desk employee had a smile on her face welcoming a customer. After that X-rays and evaluation Dr Hill suggested I need a root canal immediately. I said “ I came today for evaluation only I have no time to do the root canal today “ Dr Hill wasn’t happy with my decision . He said that my dentist suggested to do it right away if X-rays showed. I said “ I will let you know when I am ready for root canal “ He said “ well am going to be out of town for a week & half “ he was talking to me while his back against me . His nurse doesn’t even have that smile or anything to show me courage to come back . I was taken to the front desk by his nurse . Looking at me like i am a stranger to her. Here I was charged $111 bc of evaluation and x rays when my insurance should cover it . ifDr Hill and his nurse & staff all they care about money and not their customers. I was very dissatisfied with the service !! I won’t come back again.

Fantastic experience: 100 percent recommend Dr. Hill. After using him for my last 2 root canals and last 2 dental surgeries, I would not choose anyone else. He takes the time to explain things very clearly. He is kind and compassionate. His staff at both Houston and Lake Jackson are top notch and professional. I had to go see him again recently for an issue with a previous root canal and once again he is 100 percent the best care giver and is taking fantastic care of me.
