Negative experience: I rescheduled my appointment just because I have no ride rn because their car down and no money for buss the receptionist got rude. Overall the nurses, and Dr is very nice..my man has tattoos sleeves an he has a gum disease an they ask my mother cuz of that if hes ever been to prison an if hes done drugs cuz my man's teeth .. that's highly unprofessional and also discrimination against tattoos and thinking that he did drugs when he didn't he's got a gun disease he's never done drugs in his life ..they made him feel really bad ..I'll never go back there .dont go there bad place to get ur teeth check if u got piercings tattoos or bad teeth they discriminate even if you want to go back with your other half or your relative if you got any of those they'll give you issues

Negative experience: This place is trash. After scheduling my appointment six months prior they cancel the day before. Instead of working to make it right they rescheduled me for another six months out. Unprofessional staff and super rude. In my opinion this place and it's employees are straight trash.

Fantastic experience: The staff at My Community Dental Centers were very knowledgeable and caring. The Dentist was great and made the experience as comfortable as possible. I will continue to use their services for all my dental needs.

Negative experience: i have no idea how this place has 4.8 star, i went in for A teeth cleaning and then I also asked them about A concern she took pictures She said she would ask her supervisor about it and then she never got back to me so I messaged them and now they just don’t want to respond or Even answer their calls definitely don’t recommend this place unless you just wanna get your teeth cleaned

Negative experience: The reason I left a one star is.. Because On my first visit here on july 9th I was allowed to get scheduled for 2 fillings to be done prior to cleaning due to my teeth sensitivity and current issues. On july 9th they scheduled my appointment for fillings to be done on july 15th was the first filling appointment was scheduled. Before my cleaning appointment!! Which I had to cancel my filling appointment because I got sick after being here the following day i was running a 102 temp for days and scores on my mouth made it so i couldn't open my mouth for the fillings even went to the hospital for being sick with scores...I did not want to go to dentist office day of my filling appointment to spread the virus someone spreaed to me..I rescheduled my appointment for my fillings which isn't until September now which my tmj specialist is waiting for to fix my jaw with bite thing to re allign my dislocated jaw...I went into the office and spoke to a woman NOT named Emily who was trying to get me a filling appointment before my cleaning due to sensitivity and issues.. She was supposed to try in get me in and I didn't hear back from her i assume because no current openings and didn't want to not just show up for the cleaning.. So I called today and had issues with the receptionist Emily whom wants to cancel my filling appointment .BECAUSE I don't want to sit in pain for a cleaning appointment..Dr was fine with this at my first visit I was here but now it's a issue..I thought this would had been a good place to go prior to issue with the receptionist..EMILY NOW SAYS DOCTOR SAYS ITS A RULE CLEANING BEFORE FILLINGS. ..If you work at this facility please give me a call or I will just go to another uncontrolled dentist that sticks to what is said.When I went in last week to see if I could get in for my fillings appointment before my cleaning appointment I had no issues none if this was ever said..It was also noted in the computer about the issues I have..So I guess if you haven't had a cleaning and if your tooth is broken root exposed they won't fix it unless you get a cleaning first...I am an adult I will choose what I want and don't want done. I Hate GOIN to dentist to begin with let alone dealing with this hassle AFTER WAITING 4 MONTHS TO GET IN THIS OFFICE NOW THIS!!! The manager Melissa told me today august 13th that the dentist said he refuses to fix my broken teeth unless I get them cleaned first..I thought my first appointment here was to get the two teeth that was messed up was going to get fixed on that appointment.My first appointment was on july 9th and they wanted to do it that day but they was okay with waiting until my 2nd scheduled appointment on july 15th to get them two teeth fixed first.. I got sick from being here the day after I left I was running a 102 temp I didn't want to spread what i caught there so I called and canceled my dental filling appointment ..They told me I could call and I could get in as soon as I was feeling better.I went in the office when I was feeling better and they then couldn't get me in until September which was okay so I wanted to cancel the cleaning appointment in August I didn't not want to just not show up.The lady in the office that day said she would try to get me in for my fillings before August on my cleaning appointment ..I didn't hear back from her I assume because their wasn't an opening so I just wanted to cancel my appointment to get my teeth cleaned. Now the Manger said the dentist is refusing treatment to fix what is fractured which is originally what i called for which was to get my broken tooth fixed. So if you have broken teeth and want to get them fixed make sure you don't talk to Emily the responist she will make a ordeal about it all instead of just scheduling the appointment. The Manger will tell you the dentist refuses treatment until cleaned.. Manger Melissa and receptionist Emily like to slander my name and discrimante and lie about whatever they want to lie about with no consequences to follow actions..This is by far the worst experience in my life I had.

Negative experience: BEWARE! My Community Dental does not work with payments...they demand PREPAY UP FRONT to MAKE a 6 mos. appointment. This is the opposite of all their websites. After speaking with supervisor at corporate, this is their policy! My husband went in Coldwater office just for cleaning (did not have to pay before service) was given a receipt for $76 and told the charge was $230; they told him to disregard receipt, "the charge is more for today's service"...tech came out and told employee at desk he did not see dentist, just was there for cleaning. The $230 was voided, then he was told to make a follow-up 6 mos appointment he had to pay today(6 mos in advance). He was then charged $191. We he told me, I felt something seemed off about that...he went back to cancel appointment and get refund. They refunded all of $191. When he got home he relialized he didn't pay for his cleaning. Please ask for detailed receipt of what services you pay for, so you know what you are paying for, especially at Coldwater office. They seem to have some confusion over what services are preformed and what services they are charging for...For a non-profit organization, they appear to be taking advantage of the poor and under insured...WE ARE CHANGING DENTISTS FOR MORAL AND ETHICAL...after your "standard response" to my review; I did call the manager at Colwater office, and try 4 times before getting your top billing manager, Pam, from Petosky, MI corporate office, who clarified that even people with medicaid are required to prepay all co-pays before they can book a 6mos. Checkup/cleaning...I was very surprised that a NONPROFIT CENTER would treat their most vulnerable patients that way...it appears unethical and uncaring in your business practices. Unless I have misinterpreted what both Coldwater office manager and your nonprofit corporate billing manager, Pam said; don't respond with "standard" call the office for clarification...they were both very clear on this is My Community Dental Centers corporate policy! They have no control over corporates prepay policies...

Positive experience: I am so disappointed, I was hoping that this would be my Dentist which is hard to find on Medicaid? I just felt like an object something for them to hurry up and get it over with? I do not recommend although I have to continue going there because I am in the process of dentures?

Fantastic experience: What a wonderful staff. What a wonderful Doctor. A wonderful receptionist. I cannot believe the level of care and quickness that took place today. I am so so so grateful you were able to get me in and get me taken care of. If I could give more stars I would.

Fantastic experience: The hygienist that saw our 3 year old daughter was fantastic! Very patient, and accommodating to what she was comfortable with. My daughter talked the whole way home about how nice she was and how she loved her toys and Moana toothbrush. (How she knew Moana was her absolute favorite, must've been a coincidence but it worked). What started the day as an anxious mess, ended with my daughter calling all her grandparents telling them about her trip to the dentist. Thank you so much for making this a great experience.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful job on my molar filling. Whole procedure took around 20 mins and 3/4 of that was just waiting for the numbing to kick in. I can't even tell which tooth they filled, blends perfectly.

Fantastic experience: I am so grateful for employees there. They are so friendly and willing to work with you. I'm hard of hearing, with cochlear implants. They always try to make sure to provide informations directly with me and that it's OK to ask them questions. Any times you feel a discomfort, you're ok to let them know and they will make sure to help you out to feel less discomforts. They are truly good people and good workers with amazing personalities. I truly do appreciate everyone who works there and worked with me. I was so nervous but they helped greatly and made me less nervous!

Fantastic experience: Went in for a routine cleaning and was done in about 40 minutes. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Angela, who did the cleaning, was very thorough and was thoughtful enough to change to a different set of instruments, because the sensitivity of my teeth. She also used some jell to deaden the pain which aided in completing the procedure. It was a very good visit and I want Thank Angela for the superior level of care that she gave me while I was there!

Fantastic experience: We had just switched dentist so this was a whole new experience for us with my Community dental center so I was a little nervous at first, but they were amazing with my two young kiddos even my youngest appointment they took my little three year old and made sure he was busy. The front desk was just amazing as well as the dental staff very attentive to kids. It was just a great experience all the way around.

Negative experience: Office failed to send information that my insurance asked for, so I had to reschedule my appointment after a year of waiting for it On top of that, the office won’t answer my phone calls!!! One star is much more than they deserve.

Negative experience: I have been trying to make my daughter an appointment for over a month now..bad service..I'll tell you why...they gave my daughter an email approximately one half hour before they closed..and btw the day before her appointment..to confirm all her info that we'd already given them over the phone..and said if she didn't get the info in immediately they would cancel...so..here we are .trying to submit all the info again..Ashly said she would txt me immediately to be able to send her insurance card info back ...never happened...what a hoax..why is it sooo hard to get my daughter seen by this place

Negative experience: Witnessed the lady being disgustingly rude to my friend over the phone. She waited six months to get in there and they lied and said her appointment was canceled based on her not confirming her appointment which also was a lie because I seen her to do it weeks prior because she’s in so much pain she made sure to confirm. The lady was extremely rude in there as well. There was no apology given for wasting someone’s time for 6months and having to drive out in the blizzard. Just to hear they canceled it on their end. Because their technology failed them how disgusting couldn’t even apologize or make it right. I’ll never go there and I’ll make sure my other friends don’t ether.This place is a JOKE do not go here!!!

Negative experience: Honestly wish u could give them no stars, waited six months to get in. It said a different time than I remember the lady said I didn’t have an appointment at all, I re looked at my email I did she was rude said you must have not verified when we emailed which was a lie because I did. So it was all my fault because there technology failed. Ridiculous not even an apology definitely will be going above there head this is the fifth time the same lady was rude to me. And her boss acted like I was the bad guy for defending myself unbelievable, definitely don’t recommend them to anyone. It’s sad how they only take Medicaid in Coldwater so you have to go to them but I rather pay out of pocket at this point , rude and don’t care about there customers.

They had me out within a couple hours as they worked me in between existing appointments. Great job, thanks so much. Very efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. I was nearly running late today to my appointment,had no choice but to take my youngest with me and they were nice enough to keep an eye on him while he sat quietly waiting for X-rays and a cleaning to get done. 10/10 deff. Recommend them to anyone who is looking for any kind of dental work in the area. Office is always clean and they are on point with time management, NEVER have to wait a long time. Also my partial they had done looks amazing on me!! Couldn't be any more happier!!!

Fantastic experience: I love this dentist office best I’ve ever been to! They are very busy and I had my appointment to get all the rest of my teeth extracted (14) for October 2023 due to a medical condition that caused my teeth to go bad. I was put on the waiting list. Not even a month later they called me because they had a cancellation and got me in the next day. The staff is amazing and not judgmental and listen to what you want and need. I was very nervous due to passed experiences with dentists. The dentist gave me all my shots even the one for the roof of the mouth and i barely felt a thing! Previous dentist made that one hurt so bad. They numbed it very good then proceeded to take out 14 teeth and I felt hardly nothing and I have long roots some doubled and some with hooks at the end and some that broke because they were so long and bad but he got them all out within an hour. I had no medicine or gas and was completely fine I think it was harder on him getting them out then myself I would recommend this dental office to anyone especially if you have a fear of dentists. Now home and the numbing medication has worn off and I am still doing just fine and that has never happened to me before! They explain everything step by step so there are no surprises at all. They are hard to get into for appointments due to taking almost every insurance and having so many returning customers but it’s well worth the wait. They also have emergency services if you get there by 8am Monday-Thursday they can take up to three people first come first serve for emergencies which is nice. They truly care for their patients and will help if they can or recommend what to do if they can’t. My sons say it’s the best dentist they have gone to also and that’s saying something because my boys hate going too. I will start the denture process in 6-8 weeks, yes you go without teeth for a few months to let your gums heal but this will give your gums time to heal and help your permanent dentures fit correctly. I’ve seen first hand when a family member went and got them from another dentist, what getting immediate dentures does and it is a terrible experience. They had to go back several times to get them fixed, they cut into the gums leaving holes in the gums and had to have the soft lining replaced several times and could hardly eat and was in pain all the time because they were never right and we had to drive an hour and a half every time we went there just to get immediate pair fixed. Then when they got their permanent pair they had to make a whole new one instead of just putting the hard lining in like they should have because the immediate pair were so messed up due to your gums not being able to heal and getting a good mold done and many more issues with them including them costing way more! They are still not happy with them. They will be switching dentist offices to this dentist after seeing how good they did with mine. I’m extremely happy and am very grateful to this team and will continue to see them for all mine and my families dental needs! Thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: Lost a large filling on memorial day and panicked. I was able to get an emergency appointment the next morning. I was prepared to wait as long as I needed to get in but only waited for just over 30 minutes and they got me in. Got my filling and was out of there at 9:10. They were all very kind and professional. Definitely recommend!!

Negative experience: Really unhappy with how the receptionist spoke to me. It was very rude and unprofessional since they are the ones who cancelled my appointment. Definitely did not make me feel welcomed as a new patient

Fantastic experience: Wonderful staff. She did a awesome job cleaning and x-raying me teeth. Definitely recommend them. Thank you girls
