Fantastic experience: I have never been to a dentist that was as good as renaissance dentist. My teeth look and feel great. I have always hated going to the dentist but they take your fears away. This is my third time going to renaissance dentist. I wish I knew about them sooner. They know how to take care of you and your teeth.

Fantastic experience: All I can say is “wow”! Never have I experienced such high tech, state of the art dental care; nor had as thorough an exam as yesterday’s initial visit to Renaissance Dental. The fact that my old dentist’s office stopped taking my insurance was a blessing in disguise. I am astounded at the level of friendliness & professionalism that prevailed throughout to entire experience. We made plans together for follow up care and addressed matters that concerned me with feasible solutions offered! Such a positive visit! Fantastic experience: WOW! My experience at Renaissance Dental Center was absolutely incredible — I don’t think I’ll ever go to another dentist. I recently moved to the RTP area and had been avoiding the dentist for years after a negative experience. When I chipped a tooth, I knew I needed to finally make an appointment, though I was nervous to go. From the moment I walked into Renaissance Dental Center, I felt completely at ease. The office feels more like a spa than a traditional dental clinic — calm, modern, and beautifully designed. Every single person I spoke with was warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. My Dental Hygienist, Vicci Newland, went above and beyond to make sure I had a positive experience. She was thoughtful, gentle, and took the time to truly listen and get to know me. She offered me a blanket, encouraged breaks whenever I needed them, and made the entire cleaning completely pain-free — easily the most comfortable dental cleaning I’ve ever had. I also saw Dr. Young and Dr. Sonder, who were both professional, friendly, and reassuring. Overall, Renaissance Dental Center turned what I had dreaded into an incredibly positive experience. It was such a refreshing change from my past visits elsewhere. I left feeling cared for, confident, and actually motivated to keep up with regular cleanings. I can’t recommend this practice highly enough to anyone looking for a dentist who truly cares about their patients.

Positive experience: The office is beautiful. The ladies are beautiful Worst dentists! I suffer to this day from a “CAP” procedure that was given to me on the WRONG tooth. 1.) dentist claims tooth is cracked 2.) DR dentist explained small procedure of putting a nice enamel to cover the tooth. “This is called a cap” 3.)Dentist begins work. Takes longer than explained. 4.) Dentist leaves room 5.)I look in mirror at my tooth. Tooth is gone!!!! My beautiful healthy tooth, GONE!!!! Drilled into a pointy nub. 4.)I have a friend with me who comforts me. 5.)friends says, this is what they must mean when they say, “ this is a small procedure, we will gently rough up the surface of the tooth as to help get the cap to stick which will protect your tooth from further damage!” 6.) dentist comes back and finishes. 7.) go home and realize pain is the same 8.) Doctor Dentist capped the wrong tooth!!!! 9.) cap creates major issues with food, trapped in between. 10.) Doctor dentist offers to fix the correct tooth at a 10%discount!!!! 11.) as far as food being caught between the incorrect structure of the molar Dr. Dentist advised I would need to invest in dental pics for life. I horrible dentist office. The women are pretty but they do horrible things to your teeth. paid in full on the day of the surgery and I paid in cash: they fixed the wrong tooth and when I asked them to fix the right tooth, they said good luck, buttercup When I returned for my follow up, the icing on the cake was when another customer hit my car in the parking lot. Renasiance Dental refused to share any information or cameras with me.

Every touch point was so professional and efficient. Not only did they get previous dental records they reviewed them before my visit. The atmosphere and decor is so welcoming and relaxing. The hygentist, Vickie did an amazing job with the records. Cushions on the device they use for the xray apparatus. She did a thorough and painless cleaning. Dr Abernathy was so pleasant and professional. This dentist is 30 minutes from me and my prior dentist much closer, it is worth the drive. If you are in the market don’t hesitate. Fantastic experience: As always, I was treated with courtesy by the staff, dental hygienist and dentist yesterday during my procedure which was shoehorned in pretty much at the last minute. Renaissance specializes in high quality dental care but they also listen to the patient. Due to some other medical issues I have dealt with since May 29, I really wanted to avoid any needles and painkillers as much as possible yesterday. The dentist listened and assured me that the procedure he was about to do would not require any such things and then he delivered on his word. I have found that to be a consistent theme of the Renaiisance team, they listen to you and then explain what they are planning to do to correct your dental problem and I have not been shocked or surprised by anything they have done during the procedure.

Fantastic experience: There is no better place to go. I absolutely love Dr. Sonner and the girls. Everyone is amazing and the dental work is top of the line. Don't trust your dental work with anyone else. I've tried others in my area as well as Sanford/Cameron and regretted it. I drive from Fayetteville and it's well worth the drive.

She explained all proceedings with my mother and reviewed with me her follow-up care. Dr. Jill Sonner evaluated my mother after her cleaning and also explained the plan of my mother's care with me. Fantastic experience: Ms. Mary is my assigned dentist. I use gas when I get my teeth cleaned so I'm feeling no pain. By the time she's done my gas is kicked in and Miss Mary starts cleaning my teeth. She is very nice and caring and gentle and this is why I go to her. And the staff, very nice and polite and professional. There's only one thing that could be improved and has to have IBC root beer in the refrigerator along with the water. Today, July 22, 2025, I had a male white dentist check my teeth and he was very detailed and very nice.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit. I was referred by my mom. This is not a front, This place was amazing. Everyone was so friendly. I loved how they took a picture of my smile before starting anything probably to show the improvement after the next couple of sessions. The dental hygienist named Kendra i think, was amazing and funny but also honest which I very much appreciated. She broke everything down to me in simple form because let's be honest idk dentist talk LOL. When the Dr came in; a very nice looking male Dentist may I add. He even talk to me for a while for things I will probably need in the near future but as we go on we will see. THATS WHAT I LIKED. He didnt try to convince me to get something to burn my pockets. He stated they will motor the progress of the stuff I am due to come back for soon and we will see from there. Afterwards they even gave me a print out of the things I needed to get down from the most needed to the least and the least cost to the highest of how much my insurance would cover and the remainder of what I have to pay. Thats very much appreciated because tou dont know people pockets with the cost of living now days .I found my new dentist yall. Thanks Renaissance Dental Center. Yall were definitely like that!!!

Fantastic experience: This was an unusual (for me) procedure. Having old silver/mercury fillings replaced. Dr. Younger was thoroughly skilled and professional, with all protocols fully in place to capture and contain contaminants from old and replace with new, healthy fillings. I was able to get an appointment at short notice, which I especially appreciate as resolution prior to travel was very helpful! Cheerful, professional, and terrific infrastructure at every level.

Fantastic experience: I so LOVE my dentist! I see Dr. Abernathy and her staff at Renaissance Dental on Computer Drive in Raleigh. You won't find a better dentist, hygienist or staff let alone the office! The office is so clean with such a touch of class from free keurig coffee to a luxurious feeling yet the staff are all so warm and friendly. I have NEVER had to wait, ever. They have got it together and have scheduling down to perfection. I've had two issues with a crown that was done at another office, that they have repaired... both times I've called Renaissance Dental with my "dental emergency ", they've gotten me in the very same day! I can't say enough about the dental work and care to make sure you're comfortable!!! Neither time, have I left with ANY PAIN or discomfort. Dr. Abernathy is the only doctor at this practice I've seen, but I'm sure they are alllllll wonderful! Fantastic experience: I actually cried when I left.. not in a bad way but in a very heartfelt happy way. I have never met a dentist as wonderful and caring as Dr. Sonner. Her assistant ( I’m sorry I cannot remember her name) nerves. She was thoroughly professional and explained everything. All these years all I ever had were bite wing X-rays but this was root X-rays as well. never felt good about my teeth thought that it was what it was. I was dealing with a frontal chip that my previous dentist dismissed as a pain. I still cannot believe that in short order the chip was fixed a dental plan is on board and I don’t have to be ashamed of my teeth. Seriously .. if you have fears or if you have been told it’s really difficult to fix… please visit Renaissance Dental. You are worth it!

Fantastic experience: Love this dentist office. We bounced around dentist office's for a while but we were recommended to come here by a friend when we moved back to Apex NC a few years ago. We moved to Hillsborough NC and then back to Apex, but stayed with Renaissance because the commute was worth it. They give you a fantastic medical experience and are always professional and kind.

Fantastic experience: New patient review… I moved to Raleigh recently from Pennsylvania and was recommended by family members to go to Renaissance Dental as I was seeking my new dentist. From the moment I stepped into the office, I was totally impressed. Quick, professional, state-of-the-art equipment, and so very thorough. Unlike ANYTHING I experienced up north. I was blessed with Karen as my tech and could not have had a better rapport with her. I also received Dr. Sonner as my new dentist and she was extremely knowledgable, friendly and again, very thorough. My son is under the dental care of Dr Abernathy and he feels the same about her care. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Fantastic experience: Best dentist office! I drive 45-minutes to be pampered by the best Staff in NC! I moved from CA and my first week here I lost a filling. Didn’t know anyone! Did some research online and found Renaissance Dental and they were able to see me the same day. Dr. Wells has been amazing! I’m having her replace some old crowns and fillings and I actually look forward to going to the dentist to have work down. All the staff are fantastic! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: This was my first time visiting Renaissance Dental Center, my wife uses them and is a big fan. I had an old filling that needed to be replaced so I decided to give Renaissance a try. I’ll have to say I was impressed. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable and the facility is very modern with state of the art equipment. My filling replacement was super fast and painless, I would highly recommend Renaissance to friends and family.

Fantastic experience: If you have any nerves about going to the dentist, this is where you need to be!!!! Everyone was so kind and attentive. The woman who helped me schedule my appointment told exactly what to expect when I came in. Upon arriving, the woman at the front desk showed me where everything was and was so kind and welcoming. Throughout the appointment everything was communicated throughly. I felt extremely comfortable and honestly excited about the treatment plan that was put together. Prior to leaving, they send you to meet with someone from finance to talk you through what pricing looks like for everything and to talk through payment options. I’ve never been excited to go back to the dentist, I highly recommend renaissance dental!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: New patient… I’ll be the first to say I know my teeth aren’t great. I was super nervous to go in today as my previous dentist retired and closed down. I went to him for 25 years and this group had the best rating when searching. They were supper informing and eager to help with what has been bothering me for awhile… teeth whitening and a hole in my back tooth. I would definitely recommend to anyone in the Raleigh area. Staff were supper friendly and helpful throughout my visit. Very nice office and work space.

Fantastic experience: Dr Wells and her staff deliver the full range of restorative and cosmetic dentistry with a complete compliment of modern technology while treating each patient with care and respect. Every hygienist I've seen at the practice has been exceptionally skilled and Dr Wells herself is by far the most technically proficient dentist that has ever worked on my teeth. Most importantly she listened to my concerns about my dental health and needs and has respected that throughout the course of my treatment plan so that I feel like a partner in my care as opposed to just another number in a high volume dental practice.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Renaissance!! Karen and Dr. Sonner take their time to understand your dental history and carefully walk you through their process. When working with professionals in the healthcare space, I enjoyed their refreshing change of pace. They slow down and actually spend time with you - far from rushing you out of the office like it seems too many others do. Keep up the great work!!
