Fantastic experience: My son & I have been going to Dentalvana for a few years now and they never disappoint. The minute you walk in the door, Jada (their Receptionist) greets you with a big genuine smile. You feel relaxed and respected. Today’s appt was for my son’s cleaning and Nia (our Hygienist, my memory for names is horrible so I apologize if I got her name wrong) is amazing. She really takes her time, explains everything and is very gentle. I’ve had some seriously traumatic experiences as a child with dentists and avoided them for years until I found Dentalvana. Their whole philosophy about dental care is very different than most dental offices. The relaxing decor, comfy blankets, headphones, essential oils, efficiency, cool music…and most of all…incredible staff make you actually want to go to the dentist. Fantastic experience: Such a nice dental office! You don’t feel like you’re in a hospital which is how I felt at other dentists before, here it smells nice and it’s very welcoming, they even offer you a blanket, essential oils and headphones. It seems more like a spa! Also they are very competent and everyone explains things very thoroughly and they answer all questions with patience. This is especially important to me bc sometimes you go to other places and it feels like you are bothering them when you ask something. Instead at Dentalvana everybody has a smile on their face and is genuinely happy and caring. 100% recommend!

Negative experience: The staff at Dentalvana was always very friendly, and the main reason I switched from my former dentist was convenience — Dentalvana is open on Saturdays, which fit my schedule better. Unfortunately, I had several frustrating experiences that ultimately made me return to my old dentist. At my first visit, a hygienist told me I needed a $900 full-mouth deep cleaning. The need for an entire deep cleaning felt excessive, so I asked the dentist to review my x-rays and confirm that full treatment was necessary. After review, the dentist determined I only needed one quadrant deep cleaned, bringing the cost down to about $200. The hygienist who performed that deep cleaning was different and she was great — professional, thorough, and kind. She even checked the rest of my teeth and confirmed (with cleaning and x-rays) there was no plaque anywhere else. So I thought the issue was resolved. At my very next cleaning, however (maybe only about a month later), the original hygienist again insisted I needed topical anesthetic so she could get under my gums to clean out plaque. This was frustrating because another hygienist had just confirmed through cleaning and x-rays that there was no plaque left. I also noticed her attitude changed after I declined the full-mouth procedure — each time I flinched during cleaning, she rolled her eyes. Whether or not she believed the treatment was needed, I don’t think patients should feel judged in the chair. The biggest issue came during a bonding procedure. While bonding my two front teeth, the dentist accidentally pushed my permanent wire retainer (which had been stable for over 10 years without any teeth moving) upward between my teeth. Instead of lying flat, the wire now sat like an inverted “V.” I immediately asked if this could cause shifting, and she assured me it would not. I relied on that assurance, but months later a gap began forming in my front teeth. When I called to ask if they could check, I was told it would be $100 just for a consultation — to essentially look at their own work and to look at their own potential mistake! Even though they later agreed to waive the fee, I decided not to return. Fixing the retainer would not fix the gap, but would at least prevent the gap from getting bigger. But, I also already knew from a prior visit they would charge me $450 for a “custom permanent retainer" where they would remove the retainer I have in place, would have to get a mold for, and wait approximately two weeks for the retainer to get in. I went back to my former dentist because I wanted to avoid the gap getting any bigger in the meantime. My former dentist confirmed the displaced retainer was not holding my teeth and was very likely the cause of the gap. He immediately replaced it without a custom mold for $275. Unfortunately, the gap cannot be fixed by simply replacing it, and my only options now are orthodontic treatment or costly veneers — a very upsetting situation with my wedding coming up. In the end, while the staff was friendly, the combination of inconsistent communication, billing (sometimes explained up front, sometimes not), questionable treatment recommendations, and the way I was made to feel by one hygienist became too much. I hope Dentalvana takes this feedback seriously. For those considering this office, don’t just look at the 5-star reviews — read the lower-rated ones too, always ask for all costs upfront (including x-rays and add-ons) so there are no surprises later, and don't hesitate to ask for a second opinion from another dentist if you feel like something is off. UPDATE: Dentalvana did reach out and attempted to provide a solution. They offered an invisalign treatment [for transparency: I would pay 50% of the lab costs, which is about $800, with them covering the rest of an estimate cost of $4,000]. I appreciated the effort, but ultimately decided to return to my former dentist for veneer treatment on my two front teeth later in November to fix the gap before my wedding in January.

Fantastic experience: So far so good. Staff is "AMAZING". BUT MIND YOU , I've had 2 implants w/ other dentists. And now that I know, to get options, coast efficient , to satisfy my budget. Well, I'm working with them and like I said two more procedures to go. My review will continue.

Fantastic experience: I rarely write reviews and I know some people may be skeptical of them but truly this is the most professional, quick, clean, calming, and beautiful dentist office I have ever been to. I admittedly hadn’t been to the dentist in over 5 years and they made sure I was completely taken care of and relaxed throughout the entire consultation and subsequent deep cleaning process. They brought me something to drink, a blanket, and I even had VR glasses with mini speakers during the cleaning and watched YouTube!!! Nia was my hygienist and she was so kind and comforting the entire time. The kindness extends to the entire staff from Saskia and Giada at the front desk to all the dental assistants as well! The owner, Julia, really curated something so special here. I seriously couldn’t have asked for a more amazing dental practice especially after having dentist anxiety for so long. If you haven’t been to the dentist in a while or don’t have a good experience with yours- dont walk, RUN to Dentalvana.

After I shared what had happened in the past, she was incredibly understanding and performed the cleaning with such gentleness — truly angel hands. I also met the doctor, who took the time to listen to my concerns and identified some other dental issues that need to be addressed. With the care and support from both her and Estefanía, I feel confident and comfortable moving forward, and I’ll be returning for additional procedures. Again, a wonderful experience overall! Negative experience: The experience at Dentalvana’s office turned out more amazing than anticipated. Initially it was positive but after 2 years Dentalvana (samantha) advises I still need an additional $11,9k out of pocket to finish treatment. The initial $4,5K out of pocket and $3K dental care average does not pay implants. In other words dental coverage is not for implants, per Samantha, only out of pocket dollars pays implants. I wasted 2 years; I’m out of $4,5k and $3k dental coverage used in extractions etc. And an uncomfortable flipper that cant be worn to work. Dentalvana recommends I get an appointment and they’ll see what they can do. Why return if I still have the pay an additional $11,9k to finish treatment? Would you return?

She took her time explaining the condition of my teeth and gave me helpful suggestions for my next visit. And if you’re thinking about orthodontic work, you have to see my friend Aly. She transformed my gapped teeth into a perfect smile. I genuinely smile more now thanks to her work. Even though I live all the way in Pembroke Pines, I still make the drive — because there’s no place better for dental care. Dentalvana has top-of-the-line technology and, more importantly, a team that really takes the time to make sure you understand what’s being done and why. Highly recommend!

She was so patient, and so compassionate. She walked me through breathing exercises, while offering me essential oils to ease anxiety. She even put on a movie for me to help ease my anxiety, and explained everything in detail to me as she was doing it. She made sure I was numb, and comfortable throughout the process. Fantastic experience: Initially, I just wanted to have my annual dental checkup and be done with it. I hate being at the dentist and I have avoided going for 7 years! When I came to the office, I was treated kindly, with respect, and no judgement. I even decided to start to take care of the problems I felt I had and started my Invisalign journey with Dr. Julia and her team. I also found out they do Botox and filler injections and, because I felt I could trust them at this point, I took that plunge as well! Prior to the appointment, I was so scared. I didn’t want to look different or “fake.” Dr Julia and her assistant Antonella were very positive and assured me everything would be fine. I did eventually relax and the procedure. It’s been a week since and I absolutely love my look. I feel Dr Julia really understood what I wanted and helped me balance my face. I feel so much more confident now and am extremely happy with the results! I’m excited to have invested in myself. Thank you, Dentalvana!

The payment options was handled by an all star named Samantha! Wonderful Wonderful people, very excellent place! You WILL feel comfortable, and safe.

Customer service was great, all the people who attended me were really nice, explained perfectly what they were doing, and made me feel comfortable to be there. A big shootout to Estefany who did a great job for the deep cleaning, and Antonella and the doctor who were really professional as well, and took care of me in the best way possible .

Fantastic experience: Just wanted to give 5 star to this dentist office. I promise you they are the best. Not just one of the dentists but all of them. They are all super helpful and they certainly will take care of you to the fullest. The front desk receptionist was super helpful and calm and reminded me I would be okay, I was super anxious about going. In all, they are the best and worth it.

Fantastic experience: The attention is espectacular and the staff is amazing and friendly, the office is beautiful and has a relaxing vibe. Everyone is so caring, front desk is very welcoming and the clinical staff make you feel so comfortable, they offer essential oils to relax, pillows, blankets and you can choose you own music. 100 recommended!!!

Fantastic experience: Barbara was excellent. She was very polite and attentive to my care. She has exceptional customer service. I felt safe and at ease while I was being service. The staff are excellent over there. I am a person who has a fear of dentist and by far the best place to fix all of your d’étal problem or keeping up with your oral care.

Fantastic experience: Unfortunately, I have to change my dentist that I have for the past six years and I found this place and since you come in everyone is very professional and nice they respect you hours for the appointment. The doctors and the employees agreed you literally feel that They know you forever. I definitely have to highlight the service of Nia Who was very patient with me all During the whole cleaning process.

Negative experience: My experience at this dental clinic was deeply unsettling. The dental assistant, not a qualified dentist, performed complex procedures like implants, crowns, root canals, and esthetic treatments. This not only compromised the quality of care but also raised serious legal concerns. It's alarming that such critical procedures were delegated to assistants without proper credentials. Avoid this clinic at all costs, as patient safety and legal compliance are clearly not priorities.

Fantastic experience: My son and I have been coming to D.V. for several years and can honestly say that it's been one of the best dental experiences we've had in our lives. The staff, dentists and hygienists are all very personable. They make you feel valued and cared for. Fantastic experience: Samantha is the best at what she does and the team is very lucky to have her and she's very patient and makes me feel very comfortable. She even bought me a smoothie - highly recommended Fast forward a year later and I must say that from the amazing women up front who greet you to the lovely woman who helps you financially make the best decision to the technicians and the doctors... every one of them handled my case with precision. Fantastic experience: What can I say? My husband and I have been patients of Dentalvana for at least 4 years and from the very first step into the office we were treated with kindness, empathy, and overall like family. Every doctor and hygienist has been nothing but understanding and caring to us both. This past visit was no different. I have never had to visit a dentist office for nothing more than usual cleanings. This time, however, was for fillings. A procedure that for most is usual but for me caused much anxiety. I didn't know what to expect but Dr. Nick and Nina were very patient in explaining the process and assuring me that everything would be OK. They were right! I had 4 fillings done in less than an hour with minimum pain. The entire Dentalvana team is amazing, kind, and warm.

Fantastic experience: I came to dentalvana because I had some work done incorrectly from another dentist. I was extremely nervous as not only is it a sensitive area to work on but very expensive. Every. Single. Doctor and dental assistant that I worked with was just spectacular. This is the best MEDICAL office I’ve ever had the pleasure of coming to. Not just the dental staff but the women who work at the front desk are just absolutely fabulous.
