Fantastic experience: I had a terrific visit this week. Lindsay, hygienist, and Ashley in the front office were both wonderful. Lindsay was clearly very experienced and thorough. She worked quickly and efficiently getting me in and finished in no time at all. This is a great dental practice, in my experience.

Fantastic experience: I had a deep cleaning/SRP done today by Hannah, and it might have been the best experience I’ve had at a dentist visit yet. I was super nervous due to not having seen a dentist in years, and she did an excellent job of putting me at ease and making sure I didn’t feel any pain. She also made me feel pretty proud of my teeth, which is something I haven’t felt in quite a while, and gave great guidance on post-procedure care. This visit has definitely nullified a lot of my dental fears. Thanks again, Hannah! I very much appreciate everything you did!

Fantastic experience: Centerville Dental Center is great, excellent! Dr Trang Nguyen is the best dentist. I had many serious problems. She took the time to explain options and recommend treatments. Every step of the way she and her staff provided outstanding service and care. I had been to several dentists before my first visit to Cville Dental with severe and emergency situations. The other offices, especially the chain offices, were very bad. I was at the end of my 'tooth' before seeing Dr Nguyen. I very highly recommend Centerville Dental and thank them for all the help.

Negative experience: This is merely my OPINION, but I hope the Ohio Attorney General's office looks into this office and their... "business practices." Ahem. So sad that the reputation that Dr Dipasquale built over decades has been misused in this way. Sort the reviews by lowest first and read carefully before making an appointment here!!! My dad was a longtime patient of Dr D, and since my last dentist retired recently I've been searching for a new one, and I remembered how Dad always spoke so highly of this office (mind you, he passed on almost a decade ago when Dr D was still practicing). So I started to look into Dr D's old office, but I am sure glad that I bothered to read recent reviews first!! Suffice it to say my search continues, and if I were you, I'd suggest you also keep looking elsewhere. If even half of what I read here is true, I think someone has a LOT of explaining to do to insurance companies, patients, and to the law. You only get 1 set of real adult teeth. Make sure you can TRUST those who would work on them. Again, just my OPINION. Make your own decision based off what others have said, and what your gut tells you.

Positive experience: One thing I was very much surprised that the entire cleaning process took less than 10 minutes as compared to past experience (up to 30 minutes). A few picks off the teeth and a few grinding, may be the condition of my teeth has been vastly improved or there is some change in standard operating procedure. I am simply amazed. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough good things about this office. I was experiencing a dental emergency and they were able to get me in quick and Dr. Trang Nguyen was absolutely amazing. She explained everything to me and my fiancée perfectly and laid out all of our options. The staff and dental assistant were top tier and did their very best to make sure I was comfortable. I had been denied by some many different dentist, but not Dr. Trang Nguyen. She told me she could help me and she did just that! Was the least painful tooth extraction I have ever experienced and that’s amazing because it was the most difficult! I will recommend this office every time! Thank you so much ladies for everything!

Negative experience: I was called less than 48 hours (32 hours) prior to my appointment and told that I needed to get OB clearance for my XRAY as I am 5 months pregnant, it was stated to me that it was necessary for a new patient cleaning and exam appointment , I verified twice for cleaning only and was told XRAY would be necessary. They also stated I would need to get the clearance over within the next hour as both their office and my OB closes at 4PM(later told I had until next day) I unfortunately had to cancel my appointment as I was not comfortable with getting XRAY & found that this interaction was not very professional & not a great first impression. Both woman I spoke with were very kind- I just felt this was a bit unorthodox when it comes to pregnant patients .

Fantastic experience: My son and I have been seeing Dr. Huang for the last three years now. He is always kind and very professional and terms are detailed by the staff. Such a great team !!

Fantastic experience: Everyone works together for the benefit of the patient. I love the friendly manner of everyone, but I especially appreciate Dr. Huang and his expertise in more complicated procedures. He explains everything and why certain procedures need to take place. The best place ever!!!

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at the Centerville Dental Center for two years and my cleanings are always great. The staff is friendly and always tries to work my schedule, which is a huge plus. I just had my bottom teeth filled by Dr. D and Natalie. My bottom front teeth have had spaces between them for as long as I can remember. Dr. David went over with me how I could improve that area at my last cleaning, so I decided have the one area filled. After seeing the difference in the appearance of my teeth, I decided to have the rest of bottom teeth filled. Natalie did all fillings and she was wonderful. She was kind, informative and quick. She is also so cute and upbeat! I felt like I just got a whole makeover by the time I left. If you are looking for a new dentist, I highly recommend Centerville Dental Center. They will take good care of your teeth!!

Fantastic experience: Super friendly and kind, made me feel comfortable after having not been to the dentist in far too long

Negative experience: I had to leave this practice a couple of years ago, after a few incidents that I did not appreciate. The first being I had a couple of fillings done, and paid up front for the costs. The following year I go in and surprise they say I need a bunch more fillings, only to find out they kept $400 of money that my insurance company had also paid them for an entire year. I then needed a crown, and contacted my insurance about what these costs would be with this provider. I was given an amount by them and showed up day of procedure to pay that amount, only to be told it was actually several hundred dollars more, which I did not have. They never told me a cost up front, and they basically yelled at me that they could not help me without full cost they were telling me, and refused to treat me. So I left and found a new practice, since then one of the fillings I had done at Centerville Dental was dissolving and I had to have it redone already. Also one thing to note is that they reward their patients with gift cards if they leave them good Google reviews................ Reading more of these reviews it sounds like the same thing happened to many other people. Please just watch out when they tell you that you need a ton of fillings.

Not only do I love what they've done (extra props to Natalie), they've exceeded my expectations. I recommend CDC to all my friends and family.

Negative experience: I had an utterly deplorable experience at this dental practice, and I feel compelled to warn others about their unprofessional and exploitative conduct. From the outset, it was evident that this office prioritizes profit over patient care, treating clients as mere revenue sources rather than individuals with legitimate dental needs. The staff’s approach to billing is nothing short of predatory. They demand substantial upfront payments without first verifying insurance coverage, only to later inform patients that their insurance may not cover the procedures. In my case, I was charged $500 for two fillings, only to discover afterward that my insurance covered $300 of the cost. This lack of transparency raises serious questions about their billing practices and suggests a deliberate attempt to maximize out-of-pocket payments. Their justification? Blaming patients for others who “don’t pay,” which is an utterly unacceptable way to treat clients. Upon learning I had comprehensive insurance, the practice insisted on scheduling appointments every three months without providing any clear medical justification or treatment plan. This felt like a blatant attempt to exploit my coverage for unnecessary visits. When I received a dental bridge, the dentist casually remarked that mine was “one of the few good ones,” implying that their supplier provides substandard materials—a troubling admission about the quality of their work. The lead dentist’s demeanor was shockingly unprofessional. Not only was she rude and dismissive, but her pushy attitude made it difficult to trust her judgment. It’s disheartening to receive care from a dentist whose own dental health appears neglected, undermining any confidence in her expertise. During my last visit, the office kept me waiting for 15 minutes past my appointment time, despite my having already paid for a procedure they were uncertain my insurance would cover. This disregard for patients’ time and financial concerns is inexcusable. The quality of care was equally abysmal. Following my appointment, I experienced severe pain in my jaw, with one of the filling sites bleeding for three consecutive days. To make matters worse, the procedure resulted in a chipped tooth—a clear sign of negligence. When I contacted the office to report these issues, my concerns were met with complete silence. Adding insult to injury, I later received a letter informing me that I was being dropped as a patient, presumably because I dared to advocate for myself. This practice operates like a “fast-food dentistry,” prioritizing speed and profit over patient well-being. Their lack of accountability, poor communication, and subpar care are unacceptable. I strongly advise potential patients to seek care elsewhere and avoid this establishment at all costs.

Fantastic experience: I'm now a "retired" adult. This means I've experienced more than my share of dental groups and dentists over my lifetime. I also RARELY post. The exception I'm making is because THIS dental group is exceptional and deserves outstanding reviews! HONEST!!! There is a thoroughness that consistently happens with this group. Included, they obviously care. These are VERY RARE traits in business these days! The people I have referred feel the same way. Great Dentist. . Great Staff. You'll be glad you made THIS choice! You will!!!

Negative experience: $420 to become an established patient is a little insane for cash only...TLDR... Ain't nobody got time for that. They don't accept caresource.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had anxiety about anything to do with the dentist for as long as I can remember, and lately my gums have become very sensitive. I recently went in for a cleaning and expressed this concern of mine to the staff. They listened and made sure I was comfortable, even numbing my gums before starting. It made all the difference, and the whole experience was surprisingly good. I’ve been going to this dentist for years and can honestly say I’ll never go anywhere else.

Negative experience: Dr. Nguyen is great. The front desk staff however is incompetent.

Fantastic experience: This review is long overdue. I’m writing it now because I’ve had a truly action-packed week with the team—that reminded me just how great this place is. I’ve been a patient at Centerville Dental Center for years and have always appreciated the friendly atmosphere and consistently excellent care. Ashley and Makayla at the front desk are always welcoming, patient, and efficient—making every visit smooth from start to finish. Last week, I started feeling pain from a wisdom tooth. Ashley was able to schedule me for a last-minute appointment on Monday. Dr. Huang, my longtime dentist, handled the extraction with his usual confidence and professionalism. He was assisted by Natalie, who was super friendly and knowledgeable. The whole procedure took just minutes, and what I expected to be a difficult experience turned out to be surprisingly easy—no swelling, minimal discomfort, and a quick recovery. Then today, Thursday, I went ahead with a previously scheduled deep cleaning. I wasn’t sure I’d feel up for it so soon after the extraction, but I’m glad I did. Anna, my new hygienist, was gentle, thorough, and calm. She explained everything clearly, and the entire process felt surprisingly comfortable—which, honestly, is a word I never thought I’d use to describe a dental visit. Thanks to the great team for making this such a great week of care.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Nguyen and her staff are impeccable. Not only is she skilled and knowledgeable at her craft, but she is compassionate and really cares about what’s best for her patients. There’s times where I really couldn’t afford to pay for private insurance out of pocket, but I did everything I could to make it work… just so I could continue going to this practice. My smile and the smile of my children has never looked better, and more importantly been healthier. I’ve been to places where I felt like a number, but never once have I felt that way here. If you are looking for a new dental office, look no further. This is where you and/or your family NEEDS to be!

Negative experience: Some of the staff members are friendly, but most of the time staff is rude. Everything I have had done here has deteriorated or broke within the first year of having it. The quality of dental work here is an issue and has been an issue since Dr. D left. They care more about your money than quality of dental work and it really shows.

Fantastic experience: Simply outstanding Clinic. Very cost conscious and keen on giving best dental care. Most of the clinics elsewhere rush to take fresh X-rays. Here they took time to contact my previous dentist and obtained my records. Dr. Nguyen's exams were very thorough. She filled a cavity. She and her crew of Bonnie and Natalie took care of me. Negative experience: I’m extremely disappointed in how my recent visits were handled, especially regarding communication about insurance changes. In December, I underwent extensive cosmetic dental work, fully aware it wouldn’t be covered by insurance. However, I scheduled a routine follow-up appointment for May—expecting it to be covered, as all my past routine visits had been with this office. After that May visit, I was surprised to receive a bill. When I called to ask why, I was told that as of January 1, the office no longer accepts Tricare—yet I was never notified. Apparently, letters went out in December to affected patients, but I was “accidentally left off” the list. Had I known this, I never would have proceeded with cosmetic work here, knowing I'd have to pay out of pocket for routine follow-ups. To make things worse, I was asked to sign a form at my last visit, which was summarized by the hygienist as “just confirming we expect this to be covered by insurance.” That left me with the impression that nothing had changed. Only later did I learn this was not the case. This kind of oversight is not just inconvenient—it’s costly. I feel completely blindsided and misled, and I’m now stuck with a bill for something I had every reason to believe would be covered. Patients deserve clear, timely communication—especially when it comes to something as important as insurance coverage. I won’t be returning. Update 5/23/25 I've changed my stars from 1 to 3 because upon arrival to pay my bill, they had at least written it off. They have now compiled a list of additional clients to notify about the insurance change. Hopefully, it's just a misunderstanding with insurance, but it still really doesn't make sense. Update I’m changing my review back to 1 star because I just found out another person with my insurance just got billed without notice of cancellation as well.

Negative experience: I have been going to this office for almost 20 years, and they were great until the old dentist retired and the new doctor came in. I have never ever had a problem with my teeth, but then all of a sudden, the new doctor is telling me that I have 4 cavities. I got them filled, and then a year later, he informed me that I had 7 more that needed to be filled. At that point, I was fed up with the office. The front desk people have been very rude and short ever since the new doctor came in, and I didn't believe that I had so many cavities. I went to a new dentist today, and they said that I have zero cavities and that my teeth are perfectly normal. This place is a scam and will take your money. Do not go here.

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough good things about this dentist office. Dr. Nguyen is highly skilled and extremely personable. She makes you feel completely comfortable and she does amazing work. Bonnie is also amazing! She makes you feel like family. I am a patient for life or as long as this place exists!

Fantastic experience: Dr. David and ALL the staff are AWESOME. They've taken care of me for years after my Uncle Charlie retired this is the only place I've been my whole life and they've continued to make me feel welcome and given me the best care possible. Love the work they do. Always attentive to my dental needs. Can't say enough about how much I appreciate all they do!

Negative experience: I was a patient of Dr. D's for over 40 years. I was ok with the dentist, Trang, but not other staff members. I really liked the original hygienist, Hailey, but not the next one (don't remember her name). She was very rough, my gums bled a lot, and they never do, and my mouth was sore for almost a week. Same visit, they took x-rays that were not covered by my insurance, instead of taking the full comprehensive (D0210 code) set that my insurance would have covered completely. So what should have been no cost to me, ended up costing me $300 extra. And by the way, this whole mess took from August of 2024 until March of 2025 to sort out! I decided it was time to find a new dentist. I signed a waiver to have my very expensive x-rays sent to the new dentist. When arriving for my first visit, the new dentist said Centerville Dental send most of my records, but not the x-rays. I'm done with that office!

Fantastic experience: DeAnna is the most thorough, professional, and charismatic hygienist I’ve ever had! She takes care of my whole family! All 3 of my girls love her! Even my 3 year old, who got her toy mouse’s teeth counted and her own teeth checked and counted!! It’s important for kids to feel comfortable and happy at the dentist at a young age and DeAnna does just that! Also, I’ve never seen our teeth so white! She’s amazing!

Negative experience: I'm extremely dissatisfied with the care I received from Centerville Dental Center and Dr. Nguyen. I am sharing my experience because I don't want anyone else to be manipulated into spending hundreds of dollars on mis-diagnosed care. In 26 years of my life I only had one cavity. Fast forward 3 years and Dr. Nguyen diagnoses me with 6 on the right said of my mouth alone and says there are several others on the left side that will soon need attention. She and the other dental assistants all asked leading questions repeatedly about my eating and drinking habits. In hindsight, it was like they were trying to convince me I'm consuming a lot of sugar, sugary energy drinks, and coffee that is leading to the rapid deterioration of my teeth. A year later they want to treat NINE MORE CAVITIES. Dr. Nguyen was persistent these needed to get treated ASAP before they got worse. Me, trusting an educated doctor, complied for the first visit to treat 5 of the 9 cavities. I will preface this next part with saying that Dr. Nguyen informed me the cavities weren't that deep. In the middle of the procedure, I hear Dr. Nguyen discreetly tell the assistant that cavities were deeper than she thought. I received no additional consultation. More time passes with a power drill cutting away my natural teeth. A break in the procedure occurs and I run my tongue along my teeth to find them jagged and half gone. I start to panic at this point that I am being mistreated. After a few more hundred dollars lost and now my natural teeth, I decide it's time to consult with another dentist. I send the x-rays and pictures taken from Dr. Nguyen to my new dentist. He takes a look at everything and says he wouldn't have touched some of the "cavities" they treated "with a ten-foot pole" and that no treatment should be needed "for decades" or ever. Several of my teeth are half gone and I'm out almost $1,000 from questionable care. I write this review in hopes that doesn't happen to anybody else.

They take time to explain the cost & what work they are going to do. They remember your name & are so friendly & make you feel special

Negative experience: Update ... disappointed: My husband tried transferring to this dentist, but after taking x-rays and initial review he was informed that they could not give him the free cleaning included in our insurance, but could only offer a more invasive cleaning that would cost over $550. He asked for the free cleaning even if it wasn't as good, but the Dr David said no. Dr David was previously very careful and caring. Natalie was super encouraging. I couldn't have been happier with my experience! And I hate shots ;) Been going here for a couple years, now we have to find a new dentist :(

Negative experience: My spouse, who never has issues with his teeth, went here for cleanings for a while, and was wildly overcharged for his last visit. Turns out, they went out of network with our insurance, and didn't tell him. So he got a huge surprise bill. Very not okay.

She is so caring I just love seeing her every time I go in there because she is so positive. You just know your crown is going to be done perfect and be the right color shade. He's extremely efficient at finding and resolving a patient's dental needs. His staff are very professional and courteous, along with their skills and knowledge of promoting good dental needs of the patient. I generally have Haley as my dental hygienist. Fantastic experience: The people here are amazing all around! From the front desk to the hygienist to the Doctors!! Natalie and Dr. Nguyen helped walk me through the whole crown process. It was long but very worth it! Natalie made me a beautiful temporary while I waited for my new teeth to be finished. I highly recommend this dentist office! Negative experience: I needed to find a new dentist due to a change in insurance. I set up an appointment here and waited weeks to come for my first visit. I was brought first to an X ray machine and told they’d take panoramic images first. I said I wasn’t due for x rays and I didn’t want them. The lady asked me WHY I did not want x rays, I told her that A, I didn’t need to justify my reasoning for not wanting unnecessary radiation to be shot at my head and B, I wasn’t due for them and have had this happen before where I get stuck paying the cost of an unnecessary x ray. She then took me to a treatment room where I sat until she came back and said the doctor refused to see me without new x rays. I stood up and left. This place could have called and gotten my records. They don’t care a bit about people. Just another dentist who wants to make money by charging unnecessary stuff to insurance. I’m annoyed I wasted my time and waited weeks for an appointment only for this to be my experience. Find somewhere else, somewhere trustworthy to go.

Fantastic experience: I had a crown appointment today with Dr Nguyen. She took such great care of me explaining each step in detail. Dr Nguyen along with Candace and Bonnie made me feel comfortable and relaxed. I also appreciated the front desk reception very professional polite and welcoming. Fantastic experience: Everyone from the receptionist to the dentist was nice, kind, and polite!! The receptionist was patience and helpful. The dental assistant was friendly and funny. Then most importantly the dentist herself was very sweet, caring, and all about her patient care!! I got my bottom back tooth pulled and she got it out in one piece which saved me money and a cavity filled with so much care it made me believe that my old dentist office shouldn’t be allowed to touch peoples mouths!!! The worst part of dental work for me at least is the numbing part I would always have sores the next morning everywhere they jabbed me with the needle and I would feel every stick but here at Centerville Dental Center the assistant actually numbed my gum first and then the dentist used the needle with so much care that I couldn’t even feel her sticking me nor do I have any sores this morning so if your trying to decide on a dentist choose this place, they are worth your money not a waste of money or time!! I left knowing all my options even the options that led me in someone else’s hands so I don’t feel like I need to get a second opinion because I feel confident enough to make a decision with all the information they made available to me!! Anyways this place is without a doubt a five star review and I guarantee you will agree with me if you go here yourself!!!!!

Fantastic experience: This was my first time there. I had a cracked tooth. Everyone was so nice and friendly. I had a lot of fun with the first visit. My dental staff was very knowledgeable and efficient. Turned out I had to be on antibiotics for an infection in that tooth. That was on a Wednesday and I needed to get in before I finished my antibiotics. They got me in the following Monday morning. I was a little nervous as I’ve never had a tooth pulled before. My dentist explained everything and she gave me all the options along with the price. So efficient. They said 2 hrs and that’s what it took. My jaw was just sore never had any pain. I highly recommend this office you won’t be disappointed. Thanks to you all!

Negative experience: I cannot recommend this dental clinic at this time. Despite the care my three children have received there, I have serious concerns regarding observed breaches in infection control protocols issues that I have carefully documented. Unfortunately, when I attempted to discuss these matters with the clinic, there was a notable lack of interest in addressing them. Professionalism at the front desk also leaves room for improvement. It's essential for our community to be aware of these issues, especially when the clinic itself does not acknowledge or rectify them. Transparency and accountability are crucial in healthcare, and it is our duty to share such concerns to ensure community well-being. Happy day.
