Negative experience: I'm not sure how this office has 4.9 stars on Google. I visited this office a few months ago. My visit was traumatizing and I told the staff that I would like to never be contacted again. Since then, I have received countless texts & calls asking me to call back. I have blocked a handful of different numbers. Last week I received a letter in the mail, thanking me for choosing them. I did not. I have specifically not chosen this office. They texted me a few days ago and I wrote back asking them to never contact me again. Today, I received two text messages asking me to return some sleep device that I have never even heard of. I have no interest in interacting with this office ever again. I know they're going to write a response to this review apologizing and asking for more feedback so that they can improve. I don't care. This, and any other negative reviews I choose to write will be the only feedback you get from me. I have given you plenty of feedback, plenty of indications of how you can treat me so that I feel respected. It's clear that your office's desire for business is greater than your desire to respect me. If you're a trauma survivor, run from this office. I was upfront, asked them for help, told them how they could support me, and their response was telling me they "know how to handle people like me" and then the dentist continued to use a pick on my teeth and gums, all while literally telling me "I'm not doing anything. I don't know why you're upset" Gaslighting.

Fantastic experience: Great dental office. I was a new patient that had been referred there for a dental mouth guard to help with sleep apnea. In the process Dr.Lee found some issues that needed to be addressed before being fitted for the guard. They took care of everything and I was fitted for the device. Everyone at this practice was so nice, helpful and caring. Would definitely recommend Dr. Lee and his team.

Fantastic experience: Our dental experience spans close to 15 yrs. Including 5 family members of all ages(myself, my husband, son,daughter inlaw,and granddaughter ) Dr.Lee is understanding, patient and explains why things need to be done both pros and cons. His staff is consistent, which Is great . They know our needs.

Fantastic experience: From the moment I walked into the office I was greeted with a big smile and a hello, when I went into the actual room I was spoken to very nicely by the young lady and then Dr. Lee came in and greeted me and properly handled my teeth and explained with detail what I need. Fantastic experience: My dentist and his staff always make me laugh. For years I went to a dentist who now is retired and whenever the hygienist would clean my teeth, it was a quick job 20 minutes, maybe. I always thought I was getting a good cleaning, but until I went to kids and grown-ups did I learn the difference. A good, thorough cleaning takes more than 20 minutes. I always know when I leave that all of my teeth have been well cared for.

Fantastic experience: I visited Kids & Grownups Dental today with a pain in my tooth. I'm almost 72 years old and I felt just like I was 10 again. I really dread going to the dentist when I have a toothache. I know the staff here, and have liked every hygienist that I have had through the years. I believe that Dr.Lee is the most knowledgeable, kind, thorough, and gentle Dentist that I have ever seen. I still feel like a 10 year old when I go in... but everyone in this office takes great care to make sure that l feel welcome, comfortable, informed and secure about my care. They take the time to explain everything to this Grownup Kid...and I am really glad to say that my toothache is all gone!

Negative experience: Unlike all the positive reviews here, I didn’t have the best experience during my first visit. I was told that I had 3 cavities which was hard to believe because I have never had that many cavities in one visit before. The dentist did not give any explanation about those cavities nor go over x-ray findings. I denied the treatment because I wanted to get second opinion from a different dentist. Then one of the assistants or hygienists insisted that I get those fillings done asap or else I will need crowns soon. I immediately got a second opinion and they only found one cavity that could be waited. I waited 8 months and met a third dentist who also just found one cavity on the same tooth that needed filling and gave thorough explanation as every dentist should before drilling any tooth. I am not sure if they came up with 3 cavities after I told them it had been a year since I visited a dentist. Nonetheless, I would go somewhere else unless you want aggressive treatment plans and misdiagnosis.

Negative experience: Beware, these people are scammers! My family doctor recommended me here for a sleep study and I was diagnosed with sleep apnea. The mouth piece device costs 3k and I told them I was not in the position to pay that amount. They pressured me into taking a loan making it sound like it was a life and death situation and that was my only option. They should at least give you 24hrs to consider before signing to pay 3k! Well guess what? I found out that my family dentist charges around $200 for the same procedure! Wow just wow. I told them to cancel the loan and they told me only the loan provider can do that. I contacted the loan provider and they told me the opposite. The doctor is the one that has the authority to cancel the loan and they lied and refused to cancel the loan. The mouth piece doesn’t even fit properly and it’s very painful. I don’t even use it. They told me they would make me another one without an additional charge. I have not received it yet, nor do I want to. What a waste of money. These people do not care about your health or getting you in debt.

Fantastic experience: Update 11/20/2024….. Called on a whim to have a cavity addressed, the ladies scheduled me immediately for an appointment with Dr. Lee. As always, Dr. Lee was professional and excellent with his dental work. If you’re reading this review, just set the appointment and come see Dr. Lee and his staff! Completely professional with treatment and services to always be excellent! Update 11/18/2024….. Had an unfortunate situation with my crown completely breaking off. Called in the morning and spoke with Rusty and Amy. They immediately worked together to get all information and to get me scheduled the same day. Dr. Lee assessed my situation and put a plan together to get me immediately taken care of. I give you the assurance from Yvonna putting together the financial plan and payment to Lawanda working and fitting the bridge to a comfort for me to walk out with confidence was amazing!! Gave 10 stars on last visit and adding an additional 10, so Dr. Lee and his office receives 20 stars for their professional services. 10 STARS FOR DR LEE AND HIS ASSISTANT FOR MY VISIT YESTERDAY!!!!! A true professional and simply direct with no fluff!!! They care with follow up calls the very next day and are thorough. A dentist you can trust. Dental hygienist Shawnee is incredible! Her honesty and Care that she gives during her deep cleaning procedure was a 10 star service provided! Dr. Lee is hands-down, a great dentist. Respectful compliments for the staff as they are all very pleasant. With special recognition to Amy. After having my temporary crown procedure completed, I called back with questions and concerns. She was so incredibly polite and genuinely caring about addressing my concerns and providing answers to my questions. You can tell she’s an amazing person. Now, I’m sure I wasn’t the easiest patient, but I would absolutely recommend Kids and Grownups Dental of Irving!

Fantastic experience: I had my first visit with Kids and Grownups Dental today, and it was so lovely! I haven’t been to a dentist in about 10 years, due to lack of healthcare, but I recently chipped a tooth and decided it was time. This office has an amazing first-time special, so I was able to get X-rays, an exam, and a cleaning for $80. In particular I’d love to give a shout-out to Jessica at the front desk and Cheryl, the hygienist. They were both so welcoming and caring and helped relieve any anxiety I might have felt about the visit. My exam with Dr. Lee was brief but he came off as kind and competent. Fortunately my chipped tooth doesn’t require extensive work, and the folks at the office helped me find a financing option that works for my budget. They were also able to work me in very quickly, both for my initial appointment and for the repair work! I’m so grateful to have found this clinic and highly recommend it to anyone, especially if you have anxiety about visiting the dentist - Cheryl is truly amazing at what she does!

Fantastic experience: I have never liked going to the dentist until I came here. I’ve been going for 2 years now and I convinced my husband and my mom to come here. They love it too. My mom needed help translating and they took their time to make sure she understood everything. (Giselle was amazing with us). We take our kids here and I love how Dr.Lee talks to them and explains everything with detail to them so they know what’s coming and don’t get scared. Everyone is really lovely from the second you come in until you leave as well. I will definitely keep coming and recommending them to anyone that needs a dentist. They still fit me in their schedule and made sure I got the help I needed. Cheryl is great hygienist. I love her and every one is so sweet there. Fantastic experience: I enjoy coming to this heart warming establishment. The energy is always there. I’ve been going here since 2018 . I would regret going anywhere else. They always do an amazing job and I couldn’t recommend anyone or anywhere else. I drive an hour just for them.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Lee and his team do an amazing job, we started initially only for our kids. Now everyone in the family including adults have slowly moved here. They have a good selection of specialists to review and maintain a high dental hygiene. I'm glad that we found them.

Fantastic experience: Kids and Grownups has had my business for quite a few years now. I’ve NEVER had a bad experience. Cheryl is the hygienist that usually takes care of me and is the Best Hygienist I’ve ever had. Nothing escapes her. I’ve always been treated like I’m the only patient there. Fantastic experience: In my second visit, Dr. Joshua Lee was very thorough, gentle, and did the procedure in a timely fashion, quicker than I would have thought. My opinion of him is that he is very skilled and conscientious, and I am happy to recommend him, as well as his staff. They are all efficient and accommodating to the patient

Fantastic experience: Wow! Great dental office if your child suffers from anxiety when seeing the dentist. The dental assistant and dentist were very patient with my daughter and did a great job pulling her tooth by keeping her calm. She didn’t even resist or didn’t even feel the dentist numbing her with the needle. The office is kid-friendly, with TVs in the rooms playing kid movies to keep them entertained while they are getting their dental work done. I will be bringing my kids back!

Fantastic experience: This was my second visit to Kids & Grownups Dental of Irving, TX. The entire staff is up beat and professional. Cheryl did a great job cleaning my teeth and Dr. Lee is very gentle (never felt any pain) . He did two fillings and was not only gentle but very fast.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming here for about 3 years. Shauni is my favorite hygienist! She’s so gentle and extremely detailed. I don’t really have a preference but I’m always excited when I get to see Shauni! Dr Lee is very friendly and really puts emphasis on what’s the best for his patients. Gissell is a great caring dental assistant. My mother was terrified of dentist and Gissell handled her so well as she is not an easy patient. Everyone at the office is nice but they just stood out to me the most. If you are looking for a dentist in Irving this is the BEST ONE
