Negative experience: I was disappointed with my visit here today. Worst of all, the cleaning felt not nearly thorough enough. The assistant cleaned my teeth with a rotating brush, and never once touched a tool to work on my teeth. I could have used an electric toothbrush and gotten the same results. Then they wanted $200, with insurance, to do a “deep cleaning” but why couldn’t they clean my mouth once thoroughly? My visit today felt like a waste of time and money. I’d recommend people looking for a new dentist to continue to explore their options, because unless you have magnificent insurance, time to spare, or money to spend, this place is a bit of a scam.

Negative experience: My experience over the years has been great; however I recently received a $2100 bill for services not covered by insurance. I have never received a bill for this large amount in the past. In the future I will not be visiting your office without pre-approval through insurance first. This will never happen again! Thanks

Fantastic experience: Had an emergency visit yesterday with an infected tooth that had a root canal in it from years ago. Dr. G got me into an oral surgeon and I got the tooth extracted by lunchtime. With so much pain from the infection it was such a relief. I truly appreciate the quick attention when there is an emergency—and the day before a holiday!! The doctors and staff have your best interests at heart. A wonderful team!

She was my dentist for about 10 years, so I definitely would have loved if a memo had gone out to inform us of her departure. I would have still chosen DentalWorks, but I do believe her patients deserved to be informed. Otherwise, my visit was great. Thank you all, again!

Fantastic experience: I had an appointment for today and I didn't have any wait time. They took me immediately and did a great job of filling a tooth. It only took a few minutes and I was done in about 30 minutes. Great Service !!! They are very efficient. I also had a crown recemented. It only took a few minutes to cement the crown. The staff is very friendly and the Drs have great bedside manners.

Depending on that, will determine what type of cleaning i would need for appointment? I have never had to have 2 appointments for a cleaning/ x rays. Finding new dentist

Negative experience: I arrived for my appointment, and I was presented with a bill that I would need to pay $95 up front. This had not been explained to me before I arrived for my appointment. Had this been explained before my arrival I would have saved the money. I did not have the cash so I left without being treated. This is the 2nd time this has happened. The dental clinic had plenty of time to inform me of this advance cost, as I was just seen a few weeks ago when this follow-up appointment was scheduled.

Negative experience: I called them to set up the appointment and they keep putting me on hold I mean a person on call should be as important as in person because that is also a customer service secondly when I got a hold on someone she asked me to ask certain questions to my insurance and when I verified that and call her next time she put me on hold for good amount of time and when finally I mentioned her I verified everything she said insurance stuff we can deal with it later but first you need to make an appointment I mean what you mean LADY GIVE THE TIMEFRAME FOR NEW APPOINTMENT FIRST TIME WHEN I CALLED YOU DONT WASTE PEOPLES TIME, it’s is as important as yours so thanked god I didn’t go there looks like she was so ready for me to say no she made me feel saying no to their dentistry she was rude I would say that!!!! Be Aware on how they sugarcoat stuff, first impression is surely is that last.

Fantastic experience: Maria is awesome . I was forced to cancel my appointment back in April being out of the country. My rescheduling was not till December. I called & left messages to get squeezed in if someone cancelled or to have Maria call me. I realized she wasn’t receiving my messages till one day I insisted that I spoke to her. Maria squeezed me in her busy schedule. I appreciate that she went above and beyond so I didn’t have to wait over 8 months for cleaning. Their team is always welcoming. Thank you for your services! Fantastic experience: My visits with Dr. Ghodke are always the same. She cares for the patients and is always very attentive with every visit I have with her. Tisha at the front desk is exceptional as well. There is a very calming and caring presence about her, no mather the time of day. For me it makes a big difference!

Negative experience: I have been a patient at this practice for about seven years, and I have always been impressed by the dental staff. The hygienists are consistently professional, attentive, and provide excellent care. Unfortunately, my recent experiences with the front office have been disappointing. In 2025, I was notified of an outstanding bill for a routine cleaning that took place in July 2023. Although my insurance information was on file—and had been used successfully for a previous claim earlier in 2023—the office claimed they did not have the necessary details for this particular claim. Resolving this issue proved to be unnecessarily complicated. It took two months of repeated phone calls and formal complaints before the claim was finally submitted to my insurance company. Communication was especially frustrating: after two initial conversations with the office staff, my subsequent calls were consistently sent to voicemail and went unanswered. When I tried calling from a different phone number, my call was answered immediately, which made me feel as though my calls were being deliberately screened. Throughout this process, I never received an itemized bill detailing the services provided or the specific charges. I am disappointed by how difficult it has been to obtain clear information and assistance from the front office, especially when I was simply trying to resolve an outstanding balance. As of now, I have yet to receive a return call or any further communication from the office.

They take their time and explain things to you to help you understand everything about your visit. The fees are fair and the location is perfect with lots of parking. My family and I went to DentalWorks when we lived in Cary and then switched dentists when we moved to Raleigh. We never should’ve done that. We all had very bad experiences with the dentist we went to and went back to Dr. Lindsay last year. Having to have Bridges replaced that another Dentist installed incorrectly it’s frustrating but finally getting the work done properly is a good thing. Whenever we need to be referred out to a periodontist or anything like that, Dr. Lindsay does it. She does what is in the best interest of her patients, unlike our previous dentist who kept everything in house whether he knew what he was doing or not. My husband and I have spent thousands of dollars on our dental work over the past several years, a ton of unnecessary money, and Doctor Lindsay has worked hard to repair the damage that was done. We never should’ve left the practice in the first place.

This practice impressed me so much that I did take the time to share my high recommendation. I've seen many dentists in my life. Dr Ghodke truly stands out for her knowledge, skill and compassionate care. The *entire staff* of professional assistants are genuine and have consistently made me feel very comfortable and respected as a patient. I've needed a crown for some time. The risks/benefits were thoroughly explained, but I never felt "pressured." There are hundreds of dentists in the Triangle. I'm glad I'm gave this practice a chance.

Negative experience: Probably the worst dentist experience I’ve ever had in my life. To start, there was a weird smell that smelled like rotten eggs when I walked in. Very strong and very foul. The hygienist was rude, unorganized and heavy handed. My entire mouth was sore after a basic cleaning and when I told her it was painful she continued as she was doing and just said I “needed to floss better”. She was talking to one of her coworkers and rushed through my cleaning and left me laid back with the bright light in my face when she was done. 0/10 would not recommend her. Don’t know her name but she had long black hair and maybe Indian/Asian decent (so that you can ask for a different hygienist if you get her). The dentist wasn’t nice or friendly. She didn’t talk to me, she talked to the assistant. For example, the experience went like this “she needs a crown on number 18”. She didn’t explain to me what was going on or why I needed a crown and very conveniently told me I needed a crown after learning I have pretty decent dental coverage. Also seemed like she didn’t like her job. 0/10 would not recommend her. The dental assistant was really nice and the front desk staff as well. I hope they leave and find a better opportunity. I would not recommend this dentist office and would suggest staying far far far away. Will not be returning.

Positive experience: Once in the seat I was treated quickly by three different hygienists and one polished my teeth and one graded my gums and third cleaned my teeth. Once done I was finished with my treatment.

Fantastic experience: I have received my dental care from DentalWorks since 1999. Today, I had my teeth cleaned and had another great experience. From the pleasant staff at the front desk, to the tech who did my x rays and polish, to Beena (I love Beena) who always does a great job with my cleaning, to Dr Ghodke doing the overall check everyone does such a professional job!!!

Negative experience: Update!! They still send me bills every month that I will not be paying!! It's absolutely ridiculous. -- I have been going to this DentalWorks for several years with the same insurance. Up until a couple of months ago they claim my insurance company is not covered (even though I've checked and double checked) and it is. Now I have bills dating back to 2022 even though I visited twice in 2023 and showed my insurance card every time. Did they ever say anything about being out-of-network? No. I have called about this issue twice and now it's still not resolved. I would NOT recommend going here. Now that the year time frame has lapsed, I may be responsible for paying for regular, 6 month cleanings that should be covered under insurance.
