Fantastic experience: I rarely leave reviews of any kind, but I feel the need to tell people about this place! I’ve never met anyone that really enjoys going to the dentist. I hate it too, but the Drs and staff at Selah Creek Dental make me leave feeling better than any other practice I’ve ever gone to over the past 60 years! I’ve had work done here ranging from regular cleaning to complex removal of old work from others and replaced with state of the art implants and bridges. Dr.s McKay and VanDyke along with their staff do an excellent job of explaining treatment options that span a large range of budgets, and in terms that I can understand. Very down to earth people while still being professional, they don’t talk over my head or force me into work that isn’t totally necessary. This practice has been recently upgraded with brand new state of the art equipment and processes that are cutting edge. They have given me a smile that I didn’t think was possible, and for much less than I expected! If you are in search of a dentist or replacing your current one, this place is by far the hands down choice, even if you have to travel!

Negative experience: Your prices for fillings are unimaginable, over $300 each! I previously had one filling cost between $20 and $40 depending on the practice. I will not be having future appointments at your office because the prices are unreasonable and unaffordable.

Fantastic experience: The most friendly people in the world I called our emergency Appointment line they got me in 45 minutes after calling for a root canal for an infected tooth. I’m terrified of doctors and dentists but they made me feel welcome and want to come back. I haven’t felt like that in a long time.

Fantastic experience: Let’s be honest, the dentist is never fun. The sounds and feeling of the grinding on your teeth has always made me anxious and sick feeling. This clinic talked me through every procedure they did in such detail that I felt comfortable! I’m a smoker and have always been judged and told to stop smoking. They didn’t judge me one bit. I would absolutely go there again and suggest anyone with teeth that need help to go to them!

Fantastic experience: Very clean office. All the staff is super friendly and understanding. They take their time with everything to make sure you can get the proper care for you teeth and gums! I can say this is the best dentist I have ever been to! I wished I lived here so I can have them forever! Definitely will be back when I’m visiting WA again!

Fantastic experience: Great experience today at the dentist, the dentist was very thorough and didn’t rush through made me feel like he cared. His assistant name was Modeste she Great and very helpful. I definitely recommend anybody who needs some work done to go to them my front tooth broke yesterday I was horrified at the thought of having to go to work today with my broken tooth, but thankfully they were there to help and did a wonderful job

Fantastic experience: Great customer service, friendly personal they explain to you every step that they are doing. They offer financing for procedure that the insurance doesn't cover. The doctor's are great and offer advice but gives you the choice.

Fantastic experience: I love and trust my new dental clinic. Everyone is super nice, the ladies at the front desk are kind and know their jobs. the clinic very is clean. The doctors are great, answers all my questions and are very transparent with my dental needs. Katie, is so understanding and kind and takes great care of me. But she scheduled me for the new year so my insurance would cover it. They're always considerate about your needs, whether it's insurance or payments.

Fantastic experience: We live out of town and had to make an emergency appointment. They took great care of me and made sure I was comfortable my whole visit! I’d for sure make it my regular dentist of I lived local!

Positive experience: I used to like this place but I don't think my family and I will be going there much longer. They now require you to pay a $50 deposit per hour of scheduled appointments. For example, I had a 2- hour appointment scheduled and I had to pay $100 deposit upfront. Also, they have a very annoying system of reminders, that bombards you with texts, emails, and phone calls. The staff I worked with is nice.

Fantastic experience: Dr.McKay and assistant Dani were very helpful. Best dental visit I’ve had by far! Worked around my nervousness for the extraction and got it done in a comfortable manner. Very thankful for this team and will be going again for future dental needs!

Fantastic experience: I am so thankful for this place and staff and dentist. Very kind and comfortable. Tooth was killing me with no relief got in here at a 4pm same day appointment and tooth got pulled. Thank you so much!!! Update: my infection came back and they were right on it. I was there for 3 or 4 post op appointments and they were amazing everytime I just had a vicious infection that wouldn't go away. Finally it did after many antibiotics. 3 months of worst pain ever.They did not make me feel stupid for coming back and told me to come back even with the tiniest pain. They did everything they could for me and was finally fixed. So very thankful for the dentists at the office

Negative experience: Terrible experience with Selah Creek Dental. Had an extensive procedure scheduled that required a 3 hr apt and RX. I called the morning of to confirm the timeline and they had cancelled my apt claiming they had tried to confirm the apt the day prior via text and email. I received neither. I had already scheduled time off that was not reversible and taken the required medications. They never even attempted to reach out with a call. I will never do business with them again.

The technician, Dani, supported me through an emotional journey. She’s professional, yet helped me complete my procedure with kindness. I nominate her for a raise! Dr Van Dyke is skilled and friendly. In a first for me, I’m now looking forward to going to the dentist.

Negative experience: My daughter has had to make mutable appointments in the same day because she comes home with hole drilled and no filling put in! This is the last time we go here! I have every right mind to go down there and make this "dentist" show me he actually graduated from school to become a dentist

Fantastic experience: Even though my initial appointment took way longer than I expected because they had multiple staff members off on their regular day off I have no other complaints about my experience. They were all very friendly and thorough. They explained everything and the dentist didn't try to push extra things on me that weren't necessary. Fantastic experience: My new insurance company gave me the name of Selah Creek Dental. I called the 2nd of Jan and was seen right away. The staff are nice, caring and willing to educate the patient regarding specific issues. Dr. McKay gives you options to make it easy on your budget. Dental office has been remodeled modern equipment, clean, fresh with a positive feel. I'm so pleased I was directed to Selah Creek Dental and plan to make this office permanent for all my dental needs. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: My husband was having dental pain & a lot of issues because he hadn't seen a dentist in quite awhile but Selah Dental immediately helped us get him in the very next morning to assess the issues. Very thorough & explained everything that will be needed going forward. My husband doesn't like going to dentist but he was welcomed in and made to feel relaxed & comfortable. This is a very good sign he likes the clinic and will continue to strive to get his teeth/mouth back into good health after suffering years from chronic crohns disease. Definitely a very positive experience for him.

Fantastic experience: This past week I took my 3 children to Selah Creek Dental. They routinely fit them in for cleanings at the SAME TIME. We had a 2:00 pm appt. for cleanings. By 2:30, ALL 3 CHILDREN WERE DONE! They broke them up into 3 separate rooms and I followed the dentist, getting a report on each child. Meanwhile the other's teeth were being cleaned. We were in and out in 30 mins. with 3 kids. Selah Creek Dental routinely does this with my children. If you have kids, and they accept your insurance, Selah Creek Dental is the place to go! Where else can you bring 3 children for medical/dental care and be in and out in 30 mins?! My only complaint is that they no longer give the small bags with toothbrush / floss / toothpaste to adults - but kids still get them. I always looked forward to my baggie as it was the only place I could get an extra soft bristle brush - I can't find those in stores.

Positive experience: My experience there was pleasant, easy and quick. I came in for an emergency tooth extraction, yet somehow it was very expensive. And in the end I don't even get any painkillers for the pain that I continue to be in. So a star is lost for that.

Fantastic experience: This dentistry is beautiful inside and out. The staff and Dentist are kind and actually care about your concerns. I had an extraction and they made sure I was comfortable and made sure my fears were addressed. The extraction was fast and completely painless. I overall had an amazing experience here and I look forward to becoming a new patient here.

Negative experience: 99 dollar new patient is a bait and switch tactic. Tried telling me it would be almost 800 dollars for cleaning my teeth. ($799). Buyer beware, second opinion was 200 from a reputable dentist in town.

Fantastic experience: Called at 6AM and I got a call back 15 mins later. Got an emergency appointment scheduled for 4 hours later. They’re extremely respectful and fast. They also offer financing for good and bad credit. I’ll be coming here for all my family’s future visits.

The receptionist were incredibly nice and helpful, the wait time to be seen was short and their teem was very quick and efficient getting my pictures and xrays taken, going over treatment plans and finishing me off with a teeth cleaning.

She also introduced me to the newer procedure of laser therapy for killing the bactria in your teeth! I was impressed! Fantastic experience: After 20 years, I recently changed dentists due to my denist retiring. I found Dr McKay at Selah Creek Dental. I am so impressed with his work, that I have recommended him to several family and friends. Katie, one of his hygenists, is absolutely excellent. She cleans every nook and crannie and does it so well, my mouth feels wonderful for weeks. The whole staff is highly trained, don't waste time, will give the best treatment options and let the patient make the decisions. I lean toward "preventative measures" so important to know the "watch" problems and careful to follow instructions to keep issues at bay. We all want to keep our teeth, stay healthy and live a long life. You're in great hands with Selah Creek Dental. If you're looking for a fabulous dentist, you just found one!!! Fantastic experience: Got me into my appointment in a very timely manner. Everyone at front desk were very nice and organized with my information needed to continue. Dental receptionist was very welcoming and Dr was really professional ran me through everything and all my options on the table helping me decide what’s best for my oral health. The lady working financing explained everything perfectly and got me set up right away for my next appointments.

Fantastic experience: I am usually pretty scared at the dentist but everyone was so kind! They even held my hand to get the shots, haha. They helped me manage my difficult financial situation, and squeezed me in for an emergency wisdom tooth extraction. I was offered laughing gas if I wanted it, but I just got the shots. It was perfectly chill and I didn't feel the extraction at all! An amazing and incredibly kind team, thank you!

Fantastic experience: My mom recently started seeing Dr McKay. She was so happy with how well run the office is, the front desk staff and hygienists were friendly and helpful. She went in for some tooth pain that her previous dentist didn't take seriously, Dr. McKay found the cause (infected tooth) and took the time time to explain everything he was doing. Mom said she's never felt as well cared for by a dental office.

Negative experience: I can’t speak for Dr. McKay because I had the new dr. there. But I believe something fishy is going on there or maybe he is so new?? He told me I have 14 cavities. I have great teeth and never had a cavity in my life. So i wanted a second opinion and went back to my trusted dentist at home and he said i had 3 maximum. Unfortunately i had selah creek fill 4 already but i really regret it. He seemed a little trigger happy on the drill. The best part about my experience going here was the front desk ladies, they were great. I’ll not be going back.
