Fantastic experience: I have came to the Maumee practice for many years. I have moved 7 hours away and still road trip to see this office when I need to! They work very well with me knowing I travel so far. I can't give enough credit to Dr. Uveges, Emily, Elizabeth, Lauren and Michelle for making my dislike of dentist appointments disappear! I always recommend them to friends that live in the area. Thank you all for being my dentist office and always going above and beyond to make me comfortable.

Negative experience: My husband and I and 3 kids have been a patients for a long time now. I recently had my elderly mother come live with us. Every time she needs something done, they want to refer her to an oral surgeon. I've been told that not all dentists pull teeth. They specifically told me that Dr. Puhl does not pull teeth. This seems crazy to me. For the second time, I'm taking my mom to another "regular" dentist for care. Apparently, the dentists here aren't very skilled, that's the only thing I can come up with. I'm just going to switch my family to the new dentist I've been taking my mom to when this dentist won't do what needs done.

Negative experience: I sat in the actual dentist chair for 1.5 HOURS and they NEVER cleaned my teeth. All they did was an x-ray and looked in my mouth. It took them that long to do only that. Then they said they don’t have enough time to do a cleaning. And that I will have to schedule another appointment. What a waste of time. I won’t be back ever again. Then they turned into salesmen and kept pushing for me to get Invisalign and a mouth guard and all these other unnecessary procedures. I’ve been to many other dentist offices and none of them ever said I needed any of that stuff. It’s just another big corporate chain trying to get your money. Stay away. Find a small dentist business, you will be much better off, that’s what I did.

Negative experience: I wish I could give a better review for this office, but I can't. My daughter (a minor) has been seen at this office since she was 2 or 3. She decided now that is is 15 to switch to the dentist her dad sees. I filled out all of the papers to have her records sent 6 months ago. They still have not been sent. The new dentist office called today to have those records sent over. Frankel & Puhl's office says my daughter was never a patient there. This is a shame because now I will no longer go to this office. I think Dr. Puhl is a very good dentist, but because of the office staff, I will not be back.

Positive experience: Old crown came off. Going to cost me some out of pocket money. But I’m happy and they got me scheduled for the next day.

Fantastic experience: I was very pleased with the care I received at Dr. Frankel and Dr. Puhl's office today. I was a new patient scheduled for August but due to tooth pain I called and they got me in right away and diagnosed my issue and came to a quick resolution. Fantastic experience: I recently visited Frankie and Puhl to reanchir my bridgework which had come loose. My dentist was efficient, courteous and friendly. His assistant was terrific handling the pre and post procedural duties. Overall the experience was very gratifying.

Fantastic experience: This was my first appointment at the Frankel & Puhl Dentistry in maumee, and it was phenomenal! There was confusion about me being a new patient or existing since I was transfering from another location but they made the process so easy and got me in an opening the same day. Told me all the information I needed to hear about my teeth and wonderful advice as well. Fantastic experience: It was an appointment for my cleaning. The tech talked to me about how I got the stains. She was concerned that it wasn't going to be perfect because of the buttons for invisalign. After getting home n eating dinner to do my routine I couldn't help but notice the phenomenal job she did. My teeth looked whiter and the buttons looked as if they were just placed. Overall I can not say enough great and amazing things about Frankel and Puhl Dentistry. They are absolutely the!

Negative experience: This process started a year ago. They placed implants in my mouth without approval from my insurance making me responsible for the of paying for the implants they placed without my consent. Got on a payment plan which I can't afford. I missed 1 payment this month. Made changes to my insurance which pays for implants placed in my mouth. Made an appointment after waiting for the approval. Was excited for the transformation to get started today was going to b an awesome day. Then I arrive where the claim they love to see you smile. Was told that unless I pay the money owed no service will b giving. Devastated what a waste of my time, money, gas. So I left the talmage office with my teeth in hand Devastated heart broken tired of not being able to eat. Have lost 85 lbs during the transformation of the work. They refused me service over a 100.00 payment and they could have made over 4500 from the insurance company. Bad business practices. You don't treat people this way. What a humiliate experience, at 730 in the morning. Set your mood for the whole day. I never have been so embarrassed

Fantastic experience: Hygienist and Doctor were very nice. Hygienist was very thorough and knowledgeable. My Doctor was excellent. Very knowledgeable and knew what she needed to do to zero in on the problem. I left feeling confident that the diagnosis was good I’ve always had an excellent experience and if my primary dentist is not available I would gladly have her take care of me. Positive experience: I always like my experience at this office. Lindsay did a fine job, she took her time and explained what she was doing as she went along...My only complaint with this office is my next appointment for a cleaning couldn't be scheduled until March so I am not sure how I will ever get 2 cleanings a year if everytime I go they are scheduling 9 months out

Fantastic experience: Came here for my son’s checkup and was the first time coming to this place but had recommendations from family who also use the practice. Staff are extremely friendly and efficient at their jobs and also made my son feel so much at ease. They listened to all I told them about my son and previous dental visits he’s had at other places and they worked around him and what he needed. Fantastic experience: I always have a pleasant experience at Frankel & Puhl Dentistry, even if the work that needs to be done is not pleasant to begin with lol. Everyone here is very kind and helpful, and I never worry about being lectured for the state of my teeth. When I first started coming here I had a LOT of work to be done, and they sat me down and figured out a plan on how to tackle everything at a rate I could afford. Now that I’ve got all my fillings done and wisdom teeth pulled, I’m so relieved to finally have my teeth in a healthier state. I even lost a filling last night, and they were able to fit me in today to check and replace it. So to sum it all up: I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else but here for my dental care!

Fantastic experience: Exceptional Care and Service! During my daughter’s Friday night softball practice, she chipped her entire tooth—she was devastated as we were leaving for vacation the next day. We spent all Saturday morning calling around and couldn’t find a single dental office open or willing to help… until we called Frankel & Puhl Dentistry. They were amazing from the first call. Not only did they get us an appointment the same day, but they also rearranged their schedule to make it happen. A huge shoutout to Terri, Holli, and Dr. Gofman—who are all incredible! Fantastic experience: I’ll be honest, I’m a complete wuss when it comes to dental appointments. But since becoming a patient of Frankel & Puhl’s Maumee office, I’ve discovered just how big the difference is between the old-school dentistry I’m used to, and the new-school dentistry practiced here. Dr. Puhl utilizes advanced, non-invasive technologies to increase diagnostic accuracy, improve treatment efficacy and greatly reduce both fear and pain. As a result, my experience as a patient has been dramatically transformed. Positive experience: People were very nice. I was very disappointed and upset that my root canal could not be done at my appointment as I was somewhat led to believe. I waited almost three months for the appointment. I left after being told I will receive a call for an appointment after paying my fees and no future appointment arranged. I arrived home and received a call telling me I could be seen on June 2 at another office. I said this is unacceptable to have to wait over a month again. I was told they could call me if there may be a cancellation??? I hope whoever reviews this will pass along to the persons that matter.

Negative experience: I Had a horrible experience getting a tooth pulled today Dr Fleming was the Dr who was doing the procedure my first impression was him trying to talk me out of pulling it. I felt like he wasn’t very competent in doing it which wasn’t reassuring to me. But I let him proceed he began to pull and yank on my tooth after about 30-40 min of working on it he only got half the tooth out. During that time he jabbed the roof of my mouth with one of his tool his response was that it’s “ dark and slippery” ! He tried to stitch up the roof of my mouth but he wasn’t able to. While also during this time he would pinch my lips with the pliers. I had to tell him a few times that hurt. And try to move my lip and his hand! After half of my tooth was out he took a X-ray to see what was left and at that point he told me that I’d have to see an oral surgeon to get the rest out. This was very upsettings since I was tired and in lots of pain. I went to the oral surgeon Dr Shall got it out in no time he did a great job cleaning up and stitching up my gums after Dr Fleming’s mess! I have so much pain and discomfort I’ve had wisdom teeth pulled and I didn’t have half this much pain.

Positive experience: I waited a year to get my initial appointment, and was email days before to see if I could take an earlier appointment. Also they asked for me to come in 15 minute before the appointment, So I did. I sat in the wait room, 30 after my appointment and watching other patience walk in and with in minutes go back . I ask to see what has happened . the front desk said they would go check. 10 min go by and she said they would be ready in 10 minutes. so I waited, after 10 minutes the front desk said they just started cleaning my room. It was very concerning that this happened. so after my consultation I was given a bag and the bottom was a paper that was to describe my first visit and all the things they would do during the 1st visit. only 2 of these things happens and of course I had plenty of time waiting in the waiting room to accomplish the tour of the office. I hope my second visit will be better

Positive experience: I thought it took a long time, an hour and 45 minutes for fillings. My dentist left multiple times to help other patients and eventually a different dentist came in to finish. I think the dentists were very good, just an odd appointment? Or maybe this is normal?

Fantastic experience: I chipped a tooth and did not have a dentist my insurance company gave me their name. I was very fortunate to get Dr Mamood she was extremely professional and one of the kindest dentist I have ever met. I have never had my teeth worked on without gas. Long story short she fixed my front tooth without any Novocain or gas and I felt no pain the whole time. My front tooth looks better than it did before I chipped it. I highly recommend her. I also want to say her assistant was just as professional and helpful. The whole office was. I have already made my next cleaning appointment. If I could give the Doctor and her staff more stars I would. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I was recently able to be seen in less than 24 hrs for a dental emergency. I feel a great sense of trust with everyone at this practice. I am able to relax there.
