Fantastic experience: This dentist has been the best experience of my life and the only dentist I will see even though I now live in Rhode Island. I have a lot of trauma and fear of the dentist and the way they handle that has been incredible!

Fantastic experience: Caring genuine staff who go out of their way to be sure tour dental care is exceptional, not just good, exceptional!!! Dr even accessible by personal text after hours if needed for pre op post op and pain management. And when my stitches started to loosen, I was worked in to have them removed a few days before my appointment! Have I mentioned exceptional? Thanks Metropolitan Dental!

Negative experience: My dentist first saw me and said I had beautiful teeth and no cavities. Waited about 20 minutes for the hygienist to start. Didn’t know a routine cleaning (which I’m always anxious going to the dentist) was going to end up being over 2 hrs, painful, street parking only and X-rays done before and after my appt. Not only did it take long, but now I had to worry about a parking ticket on top of it all. Surprisingly, they want to see me in 3 months…I go twice a year already. Now in 3 months? Sounds like they need to pay some bills. During my exam, she also noticed my brows were microbladed…she said, if I was interested, she could refer me to her gal who does an excellent job. Very unprofessional. I’ve been going to this dentist for over 15 years and now may find a new one just because of the bad experience with the hygienist.

Fantastic experience: I went for my first patient visit and saw Kayla, Jenelle, and Dr. Roy (and Susan at the front desk). That was the most thorough dentist appointment I’ve ever had, woah. Woah in a really good way. (I was wondering why the first appointment was 2 hours! Very worth it.) Everyone was incredibly friendly, personable, intelligent, and on time. Somehow they were still engaging in conversation on their later work day of the week. The office has high-tech equipment, yet they didn’t try to sell me a $500 mouthguard at the end. A great first visit. Thank you to the team who took extra time to meet my particular needs and questions.

Fantastic experience: I suppose the fact that I’ve been getting my care here since the 80’s says a lot. The doctors, front office staff, dental assistants & hygienists are efficient & professional, and very friendly. I’ve always received top notch dental care here. I would recommend MDC to anyone, especially if going to the dentist causes you much stress. Today's visit, 10/15/25 was no exception. I saw Willie for X-rays and a cleaning, and his knowledge and attention to detail is superb. I have an essential tremor and he is incredibly patient with me. I saw Dr Roy, discussed some options, and appreciated how he listened to me. Besides being an excellent dentist, he’s so very kind and makes you feel very comfortable. And this will turn into a short story if I get started on how amazing Jeanette is! Being greeted by Susan at the front desk always sets the tone for a relaxed and friendly visit. You can’t go wrong here!

Fantastic experience: I had been a long time patient at Metropolitan Dental but sadly had to leave due to insurance changes. So happy when my insurance changed and I could return! Love the staff and always get information and clarification as I need it on any questions I have! I never feel pressured into anything and am happy they aren’t more of a cosmetic dentistry place that pushes those types of services.

Fantastic experience: I really like Metropolitan dental care. I will be retiring in about a year. They had some kind of issue with my CIGNA insurance. I will be filing for Medicare, and I hope I can use my Medicare at their facility.

Fantastic experience: In and out quickly, without feel rushed. And friendly staff. It was completely painless.

Negative experience: Sent my updated insurance information to the practice when I made an appointment and they told me I was in network and they accepted my insurance. Told me they would update my profile with the new insurance. After taking time off work and showing up for my appointment, they told me that I was not in network and I would be charged for my appointment. Disorganized and unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: Dr Roy was thorough, gentle and informative. As were JoAnna and Kim. Very good dental care and I’m thankful for this great dental group.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Roy and Angela are the best. Angela is an amazing hygienist and is extremely thorough but also gentle; she’s also a great conversationalist. Not only is Dr. Roy an incredible dentist, but he’s also a very caring and compassionate person. I met him because of a TMJ emergency and he was so helpful and went above and beyond for me, calling specialists he knows and getting me a next day appointment with one of his colleagues, despite them not having any openings. Every time I have an appointment, they both always inquire about my personal life and ask about my family and pets, etc. and ask how everyone is doing. I have recommended Angela and Dr. Roy to every person who mentions needing a dentist.

I couldn’t be happier with the results. I'm smiling now! I’ve been to other dentists before, but no one compares to Dr. Roy. Negative experience: NEVER EVER EVER USE THIS DENTAL OFFICE. They are scammers, will align with you on one price, verify it, process payment, then demand more money months later and harass you for years about it. I was strongarmed into an elective treatment many years ago by these fraudsters. I was concerned about price so I asked them to verify the total with my insurance before committing to treatment. The billing department called my insurance company, got a written verification of the price, I agreed, paid and had the treatment. Then, months later they began calling, texting and emailing me demanding hundreds more dollars claiming the insurance refused to pay. After several more discussions their billing department agreed that this was THEIR issue, and the balance was supposedly removed. Then a year later the calls, texts and emails began again. This has continued for almost 5 years. Every time i get ahold of them they said "we are sorry, we will remove the balance" after several calls. Then a few months later they start harassing me again. SHAME ON YOU

Is it weird that I wish my appointments were every month rather than twice a year because this place is that great?!? I’ve been going here for years with my first visit being a slightly urgent one. That first day, everyone from the front desk to the hygienist to the dentist put me at ease and made me feel confident in their ability to help. And help they did, my mouth, teeth and gums have been in tip-top shape ever since. I know this might sound funny but it’s kinda like a pampered spa experience when I’m there because everyone is so friendly; I know I’m getting the best, most high-tech care; and I feel at ease because I trust each person, at each step of the process. It’s really a no-stress visit. I’ve never had an issue with billing or appointments or anything in the last 7 years. I look forward to seeing the team at my next visit, it can’t come soon enough. Susan, Willie & Maureen (and everyone at Metro Dental) are truly exceptional!

Positive experience: Updating because the office manager contacted me and is actively working on helping me resolve this issue. Her concern and kindness were evident. I want to start off by saying Linda the hygienist was absolutely lovely and wonderful. However, the billing department has been an absolute nightmare to deal with, and is outright impossible to contact. I am so disappointed, because I truly thought I found the best dentist in the world. I have called and left a voicemail 3 days in a row to try and take care of a charge for my routine dental cleaning that should be covered by insurance. When I went into the office, I was told by the front desk that all they can do is collect a payment from me, or I’ll have to wait from a call back from the billing department. I’ve cancelled my upcoming appointment because this issue from 4 months ago is still unresolved, and has caused a significant amount of stress. I just want to get this resolved, but no one is willing to help.

Fantastic experience: Hygienist Angela is the best and Dr. Dawn is really wonderful. I’ve been at MDC for more than 30 years and loved my previous hygienist Michelle and Dr. Mike. I admit I was nervous about getting a new team, but they haven’t missed a beat. Plus, Jeanette at the desk always makes me feel like I’m with family. She has been there as long as I have and she is a rock star of a person.

Fantastic experience: I called last minute after breaking a a tooth and they got me in to be seen immediately. The staff and dentists were all professional and knowledgeable on their craft. I was worried not being from the Denver area here only for business but was so pleased with their work it made me want to consider changing dental offices. Fantastic experience: I’m a new patient but this visit was hands-down the most fun I’ve ever had at the dentist thanks to my dental hygienist Jenelle!! I’m usually very nervous about going to the dentist and have put it off for years, but when I came in yesterday Jenelle had me laughing the entire time and completely eased my nerves. She not only did a great job cleaning my teeth but walked me through the entire process in clear terms I could understand, and gave me lots of information and instructions at home for flossing etc that I now feel committed to following. The office vibe is also so nice and fun, great decor and super fun upbeat music. I’m already looking forward to my next cleaning!

Fantastic experience: I started coming her 35 years ago and had a few periods in which my insurance didn't work, and I left unwillingly. I'm so happy to be back! I had a dental emergency and when two other dentists I used to go to weren't available, I was able to get in with Dr. Artemis the next morning. She's lovely. Very kind and empathetic. I also like the hygienists here. I just had 5 crowns that required a lot of artistry and finesse by Dr. Artemis and the lab. I'm thrilled with the result. It was hard sitting in the chair for 10 hours total in 3 visits, but worth it... and even the dental showers from the water. We had several chuckles about that. Kayla is an excellent assistant - she's a great problem solver. I went to a few other dentists who gave me opinions about how to treat "my case" and I didn't like their answers and wasn't willing to accept the radical choices. I felt heard and Dr. Artemis was willing to take on the work. Beautiful job. I'm so glad to be back here. My previous dentists at MDC retired, but the new team is just as good. You will be very happy if you choose MDC for your dental care. They're great humans in addition to being great at their craft.

Fantastic experience: This place was recommended to me by former patients, my brother & nephew, when I moved to central Denver from out of state years ago. I have never been disappointed with their care, expertise, diligence, or explanations of what was needed and what their plans were. Been getting my (somewhat complex) dental care here ever since! A great group of dentists & hygienists, with a great & friendly staff. Highly recommend this group !

Fantastic experience: Amazing from the start! The dental hygienist I saw, Susan, was incredibly knowledgeable, informative, friendly, and thorough. She explained everything very clearly and made sure to address all my concerns. Doctor Roy was very kind, personable, knowledgeable, and made sure all my questions were answered. Without a doubt the most pleasant dentist visit I’ve ever had.

Negative experience: Updating this review since it’s been a full 10 months after my dental visits. Initially gave 5 stars because of how kind everyone was, and the environment was very inviting. However, I’ve had nonstop sensitivity symptoms that I thought would die down, but they never did. After I had multiple fillings put in (by both Dr Dawn and Dr Roy), I’ve had incredibly sensitive teeth. I’ve had fillings before, but never had them as sensitive as this. Since I came in a couple times, they ended up doing a touch up on a specific filling that was supposedly filled too high/much, so they got rid of some of it (hoping it would make it less sensitive), but it didn’t work and I can now only eat anything even remotely sweet/sugary on one side of my mouth because the other side is incredibly sensitive. The environment was comforting and inviting, but the overall quality of the work done wasn’t good in my case, as I now have to deal with really sensitive teeth on one side of my mouth.
