Positive experience: Quick service. One of the young ladies the assistant had excellent bed side manner! As a sister I pay attention to that!! I will be back hopefully not too soon!

Fantastic experience: I'm sort of new to Daylight Dental and so far the entire staff has been so generous and they've made my visits so comforting. This is truly a judgement free zone! ;) I highly recommend Daylight Dental!

Fantastic experience: I am not scared of many things, but for some reason, I get really anxious at the dentist. I came here nervous, embarrassed and not feeling good about people having their hands in my mouth or drilling, etc. Dr. Song was the nice, relaxing person I needed. I didn’t get his assistants name, but she had a red streak in her hair and she was really nice too. I felt so relieved after as well when I had a root canal. They also were so nice about rescheduling me, making it easy for me for payment and just overall a great experience. I wish other places functioned like this. They are locked in and focused & it really makes a difference for me as a patient.

Fantastic experience: They were wondering, my wisdom teeth were growing sideways and pushing against other teeth until it broke teeth # 19. They removed my teeth and did a bone graft for me. The removal was not was painful at all, and I was relieved to finally be free of the discomfort.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic experience! My dentist explained everything she was doing and what she had found on my x-rays, which I really appreciated. The front desk staff was also so helpful—they even rescheduled my appointment to double-check my insurance coverage, making sure there were no surprises.

I also hated going to dentist before coming here, after todays visit my perception. #1 they got me in same day Saturday and Dr. Pham took great care of me and this pain is manageable. Negative experience: Was in pain had tears running down my face .. called them ....they said could take care of my situation.... went there and paid $75 to be looked at ...just to be told my tooth needs to be pulled ....when I called I told them my tooth needs to be pulled ....and that I need to make a appointment and will cost $480 .. drove 3 hrs to Eagle Pass .. .seen immediately $45 to pull tooth and $9 for medicine.. . The dentist has no passion.... all about $$$....Dr.s should care about patients but these days more like a politicians ..

Positive experience: Don’t know why you solicit reviews so heavily. Your staff honked at me as I turned into the confusing parking lot (signage is misleading and I had a massive tooth ache — surprise surprise) You advertise emergency services online but you couldn’t see me same day despite my insurance being compatible but you didn’t hesitate to do X-rays and an “exam” that caused me to pay more at another actually good dentist. You have children in a room playing video games and SCREAMING at the top of their lungs. If I was more irritable, I would have said something. And the children only acted by the example set by your staff; gossiping LOUDLY for everyone in the waiting room to hear your business. I’m all for a fun working environment but for a place that performs dental procedures, one would hope that there would be an adult in the room. I’m giving 3 stars because you did refer me to a very good dental surgeon who was able to help me so I’m VERY grateful for that.

Fantastic experience: Great service! My tooth fell out late Friday night, and they actually responded that same night and got me scheduled for the next morning. They’re upfront about the risks and flexible enough to work with you to meet your goals. The team knows their stuff and breaks things down in a way even my simple mind can understand. And unlike other places that say they’re open on Saturdays but aren’t — these guys actually are. This is the spot for emergency dental, cosmetics, and more!

Negative experience: I honestly don't know how this place has such high of ratings. I went here 2 years ago, and they said I had 7 cavities. Note I have never had a cavity before this. I got half of them filled, asked for the imaging, then decided to go somewhere else as I had an odd feeling. The next place I went to, I asked them to read the imaging and they confirmed I only had 1 cavity. I do not trust this place based on my personal experience.

Fantastic experience: Daylight Dental was a godsend when my crown popped off while flossing! They said my tooth was fine and so was the crown. They put it back on and it’s been great ever since! Hopefully I’ll get another 15 years out of it.

Negative experience: Have been nearly impossible to get a hold of to schedule and continue services. Dont try to make your experience comfortable in anyway ( in comparison to most new dentist offices)

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience. My boyfriend had a cracked tooth and was in extreme pain, I called and they were able to fit him in the next day. They ended up squeezing him into their schedule For an emergency tooth extraction. We are so greatful. 10 out of 10 service. Happy to find a new dental office. Side note they have a sister office up north called happi dental. This is where they were able to preform the actual extraction and was a super fast easy stress reliving appointment for my partner. Also 10/10 experience.

Negative experience: Felt like a tooth chop shop. My teeth still have plaque on them which is the whole reason I came in. Sat in the chair waiting for the dentist for about 20 minutes. She came in and just banged my teeth with the drill. Recommended a sleep guard. Sounds like everyone gets that rec though. 2 stars is fair.

Fantastic experience: The first visit I was so terrified as I hadn’t been to a dentist in a long time and had a ton of work that had to be done. I was so scared and beyond nervous and the staff and everyone explained everything to me and what needed to be done and were extremely understanding of my anxiety and fear of being seen and getting care. They eased my anxiety and were very patient with me when I began to get anxious and fearful or felt any sign of pain or sensitivity they were able to help me get through the process by numbing medication and helped me get the work I needed done. Every time I come in now I know I’m in good hands, I’m less fearful and grateful that I have a dentist I can go to now that I trust and feel comfortable. I still have a lot more work that needs to be done but my crowns look beautiful and feel great. Anytime I’m in pain or any discomfort I know there just a call away and will make sure to see me right away.

Positive experience: Pros; Place was clean, receptionist, Tech, Dr. Where kind, and informative with all the procedures for the consultation. Cons; It was warm, no hot, but could be little cooler. My appt was at 5pm, lasted over an hour, felt rushed after 6pm.

Fantastic experience: I dread going to the dentist to the point that I delayed dental care when the dental hygienist quit at my previous dentist office. Not only is this place is close to my home, they have extended hours and it's easy to make an appointment within a short period of time. Staff are polite and helpful.

The Doctor was nice when making specific recommendations for dental guards, and even wrote some take home instructions for after care on a notepad for me. Aside from having a great attitude, I think taking those small extra steps goes a really long way to making patients feel comfortable. The facility was very nice and clean as well. I could be a little biased since it’s less than 5 minutes away. The convenience and information the staff provided is too good to not give them a try. Great location. Looking forward to my next visits!

Positive experience: Overall very thorough, fast and informative. My consultation was quick and efficient but addressed all of my issues. I learned I needed a deep cleaning but only on a few teeth and they weren’t over-zealous to do all of them which I appreciated. I’m only taking a star away because when I went in for my deep cleaning and filling, I wasn’t really walked through the process/told what was happening next, the doctor just came in and asked me to open my mouth and went straight in with the nerve block injections (the hygienist has already applied topical numbing to the gums), which I didn’t really have the chance to prepare for or try to distract myself and I am not good with needle injections in general. The filling and cleaning were SO FAST which was amazing, she certainly is experienced. But again, I didn’t really know what was happening and then it was just over. My fiancé goes here too and said his doctor was really amazing and talking through everything and he had a great experience. Overall really great dentist office but if you have dentist anxiety just let them know.

Negative experience: I wasn’t sure how to feel about this place until reading some other one star reviews. Like many other folks here, I went in for a regular cleaning as a first time patient. I left with no cleaning done, a diagnosis for about a dozen cavities and gingivitis (I have never had a cavity before or any other dental disease) and a “health plan” for just over $1.6k out of pocket. Obviously, I am not a dentist. I was originally going to take the dentist (who was cold and short for the approximate 2 minutes it took her to diagnose me) at her word, but something felt off when I walked out. I may very well have a few issues that should be assessed and treated, but a diagnosis to this degree is outrageous, especially considering the others here in similar situations. Thanks dental patients of Austin for your reviews! I’ll be heading to another dentist for a second opinion and a lower medical bill. P.S. The hygienist was super nice by the way! I hope she has a wonderful life.

Negative experience: Be careful here! They will try to upsell you on needs! Husband and I went in for a regular check-up/cleaning and were both denied cleanings. They said we needed multiple fillings for cavities (went to dentist less than a year ago and had 0 cavities or concerns) and also forced us to get a “panoramic” x-ray on top of the normal x-rays or they “wouldn’t proceed with the exam” - we both left without any cleanings. I ask you, if your goal is to help people live healthier lives and prevent gum disease and further cavities wouldn’t you want to give a cleaning? Even S a bare minimum? If it wasn’t for having a close family friend who is a dentist giving us valuable advice on what is necessary we probably would have bought in and spent $100’s we don’t have.

Fantastic experience: I just had such a great experience at Daylight Dental and had to share! I had been dealing with a pretty bad toothache, and by Wednesday, the pain was unbearable. I called Daylight Dental hoping they could fit me in for a same-day appointment, and I was so impressed with how quickly they got me in. The staff was super friendly and efficient—they quickly verified my insurance and scheduled me to see Dr. Pham that day. Dr. Pham was fantastic. She took the time to carefully examine my tooth and explained that I would need a root canal. I was a bit nervous about the procedure, but she reassured me and walked me through everything. She then coordinated with Dr. Song—who also works at Daylight Dental—to schedule my root canal for Saturday. The Saturday appointment was a huge relief because I didn’t have to miss work, which was really convenient. When I came in on Saturday, Dr. Song was awesome! He made sure I understood everything about the root canal procedure and answered all my questions. Honestly, I was expecting some discomfort, but the whole thing was completely painless. Dr. Song and his team were so gentle and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire procedure. I left the office that day with a temporary crown and felt a lot better. Two weeks later, I returned to get my permanent crown, and the process went smoothly again. The staff at Daylight Dental really knows how to make you feel at ease, and I’m so grateful for the amazing care I received. I'm so happy I found Daylight Dental! From the easy scheduling to the fantastic care, the whole experience was top-notch. I’ve already recommended them to all my friends and family, and I’ll definitely be coming back for all my dental needs. A big thank you to Dr. Pham, Dr. Song, and the whole team for making what could have been a stressful experience so easy and painless!

Negative experience: Great Staff, But the Dentist Was Awful I had a mixed experience at Daylight Dental. The front desk staff and the dental assistant were absolutely fantastic—friendly, professional, and very welcoming. They made the start of my visit smooth and pleasant. However, my interaction with the actual dentist (an Asian woman whose name I didn’t catch) was a nightmare. Her demeanor was cold and dismissive, and she didn’t take the time to explain anything properly. She rushed through the appointment and made me feel like my concerns didn’t matter. What was even worse was the outrageous dental work she recommended. I’ve never had any dentist tell me I had several cavities and needed crowns all at once. It felt like she was trying to upsell unnecessary procedures rather than genuinely addressing my dental health. Given that I’ve always maintained good oral hygiene and never received such diagnoses before, her recommendations seemed highly questionable. It’s unfortunate because the rest of the staff was amazing, but I can’t trust a dental office where the dentist’s care and recommendations feel so unprofessional and opportunistic. I won’t be returning to Daylight Dental and wouldn’t recommend it to others.

Negative experience: I don’t know how this place has more than 4 stars. I had some tooth pain, came here, and they told me I needed 2 root canals. The doctor herself spoke to me for about 2-3 minutes and did not listen to any of my concerns. They gave me a curated “dental plan” that was about 4k with insurance. As I was leaving, they kept pushing me to pay a deposit and book my appointment asap. Things felt off so I went to another dental office for a second opinion, and they told me I needed a crown and some fillings (about 500 with insurance). Please don’t go here. The doctors were impatient and unkind, and my experience was terrible. I still get automated text messages from them asking for a deposit for an appointment.
