Fantastic experience: I had a great experience today at Elite Smiles with Dr. Alwan and his assistant Kayley C. They were able to squeeze me in last minute, which I truly appreciated. Dr. Alwan numbed me so well that I didn't feel any pain at all during my visit. Both he and Kayley were extremely respectful, professional, and made me feel comfortable the entire time. The office itself is beautiful and very welcoming, which made the experience even better. Overall, the service was excellent, and I couldn't be happier with how everything went. I highly recommend Elite Smiles and will definitely be returning!

Fantastic experience: My last appointment at Elite Smiles was absolutely awesome. Doctor music complete working on my bottom teeth and they Now look really good. They always take care of all their customers, and it was nothing less than spectacular again this time.

Fantastic experience: As someone who experiences a great deal of anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist, I was so impressed with my first visit to Elite Smiles! I chose them from an internet search when I was looking desperately for a dentist due to severe pain. I sent an inquiry online for an appointment and they called me first thing the next morning. I was able to fill out all my forms online the night before so that when I got there, I didnt have to do a thing. I had no issues with them accepting my insurance. The staff was incredibly polite and calming. Every person I encountered in the office was friendly and accommodating. They were quick to get me back in to the chair, and put me at ease immediately. My dentist was Dr. Sean Music, I wish I could remember now the name of the woman who assisted me because she was amazing. (If you read this i am so sorry i forgot your name but seriously ive never had a better experience at the dentist) They explained to me everything that was happening and they identified my issue very quickly. I felt very comfortable and safe there and id say they went above and beyond to help me out, and by the end of my day, I was able to get the procedure I needed and was no longer feeling the pain. I honestly cant recommend this office enough, especially if you have fear of the dentist. I will definitely be returning! 10 stars

Fantastic experience: Dr Music & his assistant, Zay, did an excellent job on repairing a tooth & temporary crown. Unfortunately, they discovered that the tooth needs a root canal. They explained in great detail, the process I will go through before returning for permanent crown. The front desk staff were very helpful as well & very pleasant.

Fantastic experience: I had been trying to find a good dentist for a number of years and happened upon Dr. Music and his team. They are not just good: they are great! I’ve been going there for about two years now. Your appointment time is just that: that’s when you’re going to see the doc. I bet I’ve never waited in that office for more than five minutes before I’m going back. They are super efficient, but you never feel rushed. Donna has been my hygienist twice now and she is just lovely— So kind, knowledgeable and thorough. Actually every person I have encountered in that office has been friendly, kind and patient—and they truly seem to enjoy working there and working with each other. I highly recommend Elite Smiles!

Fantastic experience: Dr Music and his assistant Heather were the best today! I had lost part of a tooth and they were able to get me in quickly. Fantastic experience: This is an excellent practice that expertly provides for all my dental needs! Dr. Music and his staff are consistently professional and friendly. I truly appreciate their efficient and excellent service, which is clearly focused on meeting every patient's needs. Prior to seeing Dr. Music, I spent a lot of money and time without the results I desire. I refer to Dr. Music as my "forever" dentist.

Negative experience: This place only cares about money and ensuring you do expensive procedures. Their customer service if you say no to a bone graft is really poor. The doctors tone and demeanor changed simply because I did not want to go through with an implant after I called and told the office and nurses that I confirmed i did not want to do it. Waste of time and office has poor communication skills if they know the doctor cant do it then why schedule an appointment have me go in sit down only for the doctor to say no I cant do it. Lol maybe being the only hispanic person there had something to do with the poor treatment.

Fantastic experience: I have been getting the run around with old dentists about a sore on side of tongue. First phone conversation with receptionist was unbelievable how she admittedly made me feel like I was a family member right of the bat. Not overbearing but was able to get me right in. As soon as I got to office and signed in here came the dental assistant X-rays before cleaning Dr. Music stepped right in took a look at my concerns and addressed my fear of cancer on my tongue right off. He listened to my fears of my father passed from cancer that started on tongue I just loved how from scared to death. I was walking out with nothing but calm and peaceful confidence in the team that I am in their care. Thanks Suzie

Fantastic experience: I had another great appointment at Elite Smiles today. Well, as great as can be when your at the dentist. Dr Music worked me in for an urgent appointment last week after the long weekend, and got me started on the road to recovery with antibiotics and pain relief. The problem was fully resolved today while Carissa held my hand and gave me pats on the shoulder that took some of the sting out of the shots. Dr Alwan popped in as we said goodbye to my favorite crown that he gave me last year (in no way any fault of his). By the time it was over we all wanted tacos. Thank you all so much for top notch care with people I can trust to do what's best for me.

Fantastic experience: I had a cap fall off in the middle of the night. Called Elite Smiles as soon as they opened the next morning. Even though it was Friday, on a day they closed early, and they were fully booked, they gave me a 10:00 a.m. appointment. After a couple of x-rays, they cemented the cap back on and sent me on my way within 30 minutes. So thankful I didn’t swallow the cap, and so thankful for Elite Smiles!

Fantastic experience: I came here initially to get a 2nd opinion on work that my other dentist recommended. While they agreed with the majority of the treatment plan, I feel like they actually listened to my concerns and weren't trying to push anything potentially unnecessary like the other place. The best thing is that I got a crown prepped, made and placed in the same day which the other could never do, it was always 3 different appointments or different locations for each procedure. Also I had fillings in my front teeth which I was nervous about do to previous dental work leaving me with a slight gap there. They filled my teeth in beautifully and they look better than before and no longer have the slight gap. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: I recently had a dental implant done at Elite Smiles with Dr. Sean Music, and I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. From start to finish, the team was professional, caring, and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. The procedure was explained clearly, and they were always available to answer my questions.

Negative experience: I had a very upsetting experience at Elite Smiles, and I can’t recommend them—especially if you have cosmetic dental work like composite veneers. During one visit, they removed a silver filling and did a dental cleaning all in the same appointment. While I was still numb from the filling, the dental assistant accidentally hit my veneer with the suction tool. I immediately said out loud, “Man, it felt like my tooth broke.” They brushed it off and finished the procedure. Then I was taken to the hygienist down the hall. She was extremely rough, even after I told her my teeth were hurting and I was still numb. The next day, I noticed two of my veneers were chipped—veneers I had just recently paid to have done. I called the office right away and was scheduled to come back the following week. But the dentist I saw wasn’t the owner and couldn’t make any decisions. Instead of accountability, he tried to place the blame on something I ate. No real assessment, no responsibility, no solution. The way this situation was handled was both incompetent and unethical. I was dismissed and made to feel like my concerns didn’t matter. When a patient speaks up in real-time and follows up respectfully, there should be some level of care and ownership—especially in a cosmetic practice. Instead, I was met with denial and deflection. If you value your smile and expect professional care, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: .Today, I just went in to see the hygienist. The secretary was welcoming and had worked hard to get the best appointment that worked for me. My hygienist, Susan, did such a professional job on my teeth, and she was so comforting and pleasant to talk to! Elite Smiles didn't disappoint, they gave me exceptional care.

Fantastic experience: I love this dentist. They are always great. It’s relaxing and professional. When I had a cavity filled they had a fireplace background on the tv with calming/meditation music playing. It was very peaceful for a not so fun appointment. All three doctors are wonderful, very knowledgeable, and kind. The techs are great too. I never have to wait long for an appointment. I don’t think I have ever waited more than 5 minutes to go back and the doctor is so fast getting to your room when you’re finished. I have never experienced that at any dentist before. They also respect your wishes, I am hesitant to have X-rays unless I am having pain, and they never put pressure on me to have them done. I seriously believe this is the best dentist in Louisville and will continue to go here.

Fantastic experience: I had a tooth break on my way to work and not only did they fit me in that afternoon, the entire staff stayed after work hours to put a crown on the tooth. Everyone is super friendly and professional. I’ve been going here for years and would never go anywhere else.

Negative experience: They advertise "Free consultation for cosmetic work" but it is NOT free. It is either out of pocket or they bill your insurance. This is false advertising on their part.

I didn’t know what to expect as I’m just getting settled into the Louisville area, but this place quickly eased my worries. The dental hygienist who worked with me was very nice and reassuring. The dentist who talked with me afterwords was very friendly too and patiently explained options for me going forward. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Fantastic experience: I definitely recommend them. I had to bring my 9 month old baby in with me for my first appointment here and they were so helpful with her! They played with her and talked to her and it helped me feel more calm.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been here twice in the past two years when i come visit family from guam. first was for my amazing crown and this time was for a night guard and a bottom retainer. For some reason the molds of my bottom retainer were lopsided (not their fault), but they redid it immediately! the second retainer was better but still a little lopsided, it was the same problem spot. i was SO nervous about going back in to see if they could just shave down the piece of the retainer that was bothering me but they were so kind and fixed it immediately! now my retainer is perfect and comfortable :) if i need more work the next time i come back ill absolutely see them again!

Fantastic experience: Newly returning to Louisville and without a dentist, I experienced a dental emergency, losing a filing over the weekend. A friend/colleague recommended her practice, Elite Smiles. A huge thanks to Lindsey for directing me to these great folks. Everyone was so kind and thoughtful - on the phone and in person. As a person with traumatic experiences with dentists, I was especially concerned meeting a dental team for the first time with an issue. Dr. Music and his staff were warm, cordial and calming. I had the filling replaced, and we are working on a treatment plan. Best of all, I have a new dentist in our new home! First impression - great practice with kind folks!

Fantastic experience: Dr Steven Blanchard has been my dentist for close to thirty years. He feels like family to me, my partner and my mother and so does Susan. He does his job with the long term results as his goal for his patient to have a healthy mouth which in turn helps the whole body's health. Its obvious he loves what he does...its why he is so good at it..and why he hums while he works..

Fantastic experience: This whole team is relational and helpful from reception to dentists. They were great when my husband had a dental emergency, and they've been just as wonderful for our normal day to day preventative care.

Negative experience: Everyone so kind and helpful on your first visit, but after that, you see how they truly treat their patients!! After I received an estimate from the insurance company on the (several) procedures that I needed, I asked the person texting from there how much it would cost to do a double bridge instead of a replacement tooth. After that, all I got was nasty lip service and a condescending attitude from her! She stopped responding which essentially was a refusal to assist me further to set up my payment plan. So, if you can’t pay for expensive services immediately, this is not your dentist’s office! Very disappointed.

Positive experience: This was a difficult appt for me due to my anxiety related to the needed procedure. All staff were professional and took great care of me. Dr. Music did everything he could to ease my worries but it was a very stressful appointment for me.

Fantastic experience: This is quite literally the best dentist I've ever been to. I needed to have 4 teeth pulled due to absolute agony (all molars if that matters) every dentist I called told me it would be at minimum a 4 week wait. Elite smiles actually got me in that day to take a look at me and do X-rays, and had a follow up appointment for removal the next. I don't know who handles their scheduling but they are a master at their craft, I actually asked the front desk how an office as well run as this one could have so few patients. Turns out they're just good at making sure people aren't stuck waiting around in the lobby, and keep emergency spots open for those who need them. I promised you guys I'd get this review done. Sorry it's late but I passed out when I got home after the surgery lol. The 5/5 reviews are no lie.

Fantastic experience: We have found a family friendly dentist office! After visiting another office that only wanted to suggest sedation dentistry, I’m pleased they this team focused on my dental health. We made a plan and will execute it! The office is clean and easy to find. I didn’t wait long at all. Parking is plentiful. I’m very pleased!

Fantastic experience: Clean, large, state of the art facility. Appointment was on-time. Completing forms online prior to appointment worked great and I had to fill out no forms onsite. Actually completed some work (X-Rays and scans) on initial consultation day and pre-booked appointments to cover entire treatment plan; all appointments made for coming weeks (not months). I will be having a fair amount of work done and I will be all finished within 8 weeks. I could not be happier!

Fantastic experience: First time at Elite Smiles of Louisville and had a great experience. Front desk staff were very friendly and greeted me instantly. My hygienist (Donna) was amazing and very thorough. Dr. Music was very pleasant and upbeat. He did a thorough exam and gave recommendations. In and out within an hour. It was a little noisy and you can hear everyones conversation but the office has more of an open concept layout than standard rooms for each hygienist. All in all great experience!

Fantastic experience: The staff were wonderful and pleasant from start to finish! Everyone from the front desk to the hygienists in the operating rooms always had a smile and were very personable. I highly recommend this office and the great team they’ve established!
