Fantastic experience: The entire staff is friendly, personable, and professional. The atmosphere is welcoming and the office staff very nice. Great Christmas music was playing in the background, and the office was festive for the season! The wait time is very minimal. I had my six month dental cleaning with Kristen, who is very thorough, gentle, professional, and knowledgeable. Today, I asked Dr. Darrington about having work done on four teeth which have darkened secondary to old fillings, and he gave me two options. I plan to return in two weeks for this particular appointment. Dr. Darrington is a professional and humorous dentist. I’m pleased with the experience and outcome. I highly recommend SandCreek Dental in Idaho Falls.

Fantastic experience: Everyone was super friendly starting right as you walk through the door! I had a chipped filling and the were able to smooth it out quickly. Kyla made me feel relaxed and comfortable. The dentist was nice and was very aware of how I was feeling and he smoothed my filling! They will be my dentist of choice going forward. He even called me later that night to make sure that everything was ok and there were no problems. It is rare to get that level of service in a world where everyone cuts everything to save a buck! Fantastic experience: My crown broke on Sunday evening so this was an emergency visit Monday morning. I was able to get right in and was treated with kindness and concern. Dr. Darrington and his staff made sure I was comfortable and went through my options before treatment. They were thorough and professional and I walked out with a new crown in three hours. Fantastic experience: Dr Darrington fabricated a crown for a tooth that fractured. I didn’t feel the injection, as a matter of fact - I didn’t feel any pain throughout the whole procedure and the crown was made while I was sitting in the chair. Great experience!

Kristen did an AMAZING job on my cleaning today- I have a permanent retainer and it’s so hard to keep clean- it has never felt so clean! The best office around- truly. They really care and it shows- from the front desk, to the hygienists, dentists, and assistants. I look forward to coming to the dentist. Dr. D is so passionate about giving people the best care. He is AMAZING! Appointment 2-had laser whitening and I can’t even believe the difference! My teeth were not sensitive! Dr. Darrington fixed a spot on one of my front teeth that was very visible. He has this unique shade matching composite and it is INCREDIBLE! You can’t even tell there was a filling. NO better place to go! THE entire front desk and assistants were super helpful and friendly. LOVE this office!

Fantastic experience: 10/25/21 Sandcreek Dental is very patient oriented. I've been going there for the last 6 yrs for all of my dental care. A few weeks ago I had my semi-annual teeth cleaning and once again was very satisfied with the experience . They are very professional but likewise very personable. I highly recommend Sandcreek for all of your dental needs. Update 11/1/23 Currently also having periodic check-ups for my ongoing Invisalign protocol and I am very happy with the way the treatment is going. I highly recommend Sandcreek for all of your dental care. Update 8/15/24. Invisalign Protocol is complete. I am totally satisfied with the results. They have been amazing. Now today, I had a teeth cleaning, the first one since finishing Invisalign. It went very well, professionally done, and with great care. I have had a variety of dental care over the last several years and am very happy with of it. Update 8/13/25 Had a semi-annual teeth cleaning. Once again, very professional and well done, as always

Fantastic experience: I love Dr. Darrington and the whole team at Sandcreek Dental. I trust them completely. His assistant Tina is awesome!!! The staff know me by name, work hard to get an appointment time that fits with my crazy schedule. I feel like they genuinely listen to my questions and concerns. Fantastic experience: If you’re looking for the best dental care in Idaho, take a deep breath, your search is over. Phenomenal staff! Kind, knowledgeable and great to be around. After a year of constant pain I finally made an appointment. I had two root canals done with permanent crowns made in-house, all in the same day. Immediately after I was 100% pain free and back to work as if I went for coffee. I was educated throughout the process and it quickly became clear why they are the best. Fantastic experience: Dr. Craig Darrington did a wonderful job repairing my loose tooth. He replaced the post with a new metal post, dressed the area so that the tooth and crown would fit better than it had originally. The entire experience was painless. Dr. Darrington explained everything he was doing in detail. I was given a price beforehand, so I'd know what it was going to cost. Going to the dentist is never a fun time but once again, Dr. Darrington has made going to the dentist a positive experience. He never fails to impress me.

Fantastic experience: Sandcreek Dental is the BEST dentistry I have EVER received. Professional, knowledgeable, up to date technology, get in and out in a timely manner (no waiting). The dental technicians inform you of the cost (what insurance will pay for and what out of pocket will cost), no surprises. My teeth and gums are in the best condition, if you saw my smile, you would know that I have the BEST dentist this side of the Mississippi.

The only reason I didn't give them five stars is because I absolutely hate going to the dentist so the only way I could give any dentist five stars is if they came to my house, drugged me, took me in and did the work they needed to do and then brought me home again so that I didn't know it was going to happen and didn't remember anything while I was there. Fantastic experience: I honestly can’t write enough wonderful things about this place. I just moved from AZ and had a horrible tooth emergency, literally a dentist worst nightmare I felt like. My husband call around town and everyone was booked up. He called this place, he told me how the gal over the phone moved spots around just to squeeze me in as they were busy. To the gal taking my x-ray and by my side for the ride was just an angel, to the gal giving the shots who took it nice and slow. Also really grateful for the multiple options discussed with me for deep cavities and the willingness to do what I felt was good for me for the money I had to spend.

Negative experience: I used to love this dentist but over the years they have become only in it for the money. From $60 to $600 for a tooth pull. Every time I save up money and get so excited to fix my teeth and get out of pain. I walk in and everything is 10x more expensive (after insurance) then I could even imagine. I’ve had to leave in tears in pain with an infection many times because I can’t afford their extremely high prices. Then my phone gets blown up asking to leave a review. So here’s my review. They are impersonal and only care about your money. I’m sure the owner will copy and paste the same reply he leaves every disgruntled person. People are in pain and need help I’d take that personally if I could help change that.

Fantastic experience: I had broken a piece of tooth off over the weekend. Monday I called to see if I could get in and start the repair process. They were able to get me in Tuesday. Dr. Darrington was great, gave me several options and explained his recommendations. He let me know at each pivotal point what needed to be done. He completed the entire procedure in one visit, to my complete satisfaction. Highly recommend him and the friendly staff.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had horrible dental anxiety my whole life, caused by experiences with other dental offices. When I moved to Eastern Idaho, I was told to go to SandCreek Dental because I had been told by other patients that they “cured” their dental anxiety. All I can say is—they are the best dental office I’ve ever been to. I’ve never had any pain or discomfort. Every single person there genuinely cares and goes the extra mile to make sure you feel comfortable and taken care of. Even the receptionist checked on me during my procedure, knowing I was nervous. It’s the little things, but this whole office is truly amazing!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Darryington and his team are simply amazing. We are new to the area and feel like we hit the lotto when we found Sandcreek Dental. The front office team is very personal and customer focused. The dentistry itself is next level. Dr. D's passion for his profession is clearly obvious, his skill and technical expertise amazing. In all my years I've never met a dentist who communicates better or delivers the treatment plan more proficiently. He did a major restoration on my mouth and I'm simply blown away. Fantastic experience: My experience with dentists over the years has been traumatic and embarrassingly I suffered from an irrational fear of dentistry. I knew regular dental visits were important but I also knew they would be cold-sweat inducing events. So when I got the diagnosis that decades of grit due to agriculture and masonry wearing away my teeth, and that full restoration was the best answer, I was terrified to make the leap. Dr.Darrington consulted with me, shared the procedures, and showed intended outcomes and I scheduled the procedure. Let me tell you, a full restoration is intense but Dr Darrington got it completed in two long sessions and every single old and tired tooth in my mouth is gleaming and ready to work. Even better, I fell asleep in his chair as major work was going on! Dental PTSD? Not any more. Great equipment, Comfortable accommodations, swift and gentle hands. I am so very happy with the outcome.

Fantastic experience: I have gone to the same dentist for 35 years. We recently moved to Idaho and I have been terrified to go to a new dentist, I have horrible teeth and need a dentist I can trust. Both dentist were amazing, on my first visit they both came in and talked to me and introduce themselves. They were constantly asking if I was OK, did I need a break, was I in any pain. The dentist "Dr D" is the most amazing dentist I have ever been to!! I have been afraid of dentists my whole life and he made me comfortable with no anxiety what so ever! If you have bad teeth and feel self conscious about yourself, this is where you need to go! They make you feel like family!!!

Negative experience: I went in with a ton of tooth pain. They did absolutely nothing. “Sent” X-rays elsewhere to get a second opinion, and told me they’d shoot me a call about it. Told me I was probably fine and sent me home. Never got a call, and confirmed that X-rays were in fact not sent anywhere. Spent the day in agony. Went to a different office after not hearing anything and right off the bat they found a HUGE abscess. Took care of it on the spot. Overall place had a rich snobby vibe to it. Mood for sure changed when they found out I didn’t have insurance. If you’re well off this office is probably fine. But if you’re a regular Joe with no insurance and some teeth issues, look elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful staff. Dr. Darlington fixed my front tooth on the very 1st visit, where it took my previous dentist 2 times, and he still couldn't fix it. Dr. Sam Smith is also a great dentist, made me feel comfortable and cared for. Front office staff greet you immediately and are very understanding when it comes to the patients. They are the best dental group I have ever gone to. I look forward to my future visits, and I trust them with my dental health care. Teena was my hygienist and she was so sweet and friendly! And Dr. Sam was so welcoming and took the time to get to know not only me but ask about my family! Fantastic experience: This is the best experience I have had with a dentist! My previous experience with another dentist was so bad that it has been years since I have seen a dentist. Dr Darrington was kind, gentle, explained exactly what he was doing, made sure I was comfortable, and made me laugh. After having a crown placed I didn’t even need a Tylenol for pain later in the day. I didn’t hurt!! Everyone in the office was just as professional and kind as Dr Darrington. They are my dental office for life. I HIGHLY recommend them!

Fantastic experience: I very much enjoyed the hygienist, Taylor. She was so good at her job, super professional, and very thorough. She did exactly what I needed and helped me correct some laziness from my last hygienist at a different dental office. I would go back for sure and highly recommend this office for cleanings. Also, Dr Darrington is amazing. He is very professional, kind, knowledgeable, and takes extra time to make sure everything is perfect. We love going to him. His office is beautiful and the staff are also very nice. It's always a good experience for us and we feel very taken care of.

Fantastic experience: As someone who has a sever phobia of the dentist, the kindness and care received here was amazing. Dr. Sam and Teena were awesome and listened to my concerns. The care was gentle, but thorough. Overall, despite being in the dentist office, it was a pleasant experience.

Fantastic experience: By far the best dentist office we have been to. Our young son enjoys seeing Teena and she is always kind and patient with him. She is very knowledgeable about jaw functionality and the issues disfunction can cause. We have been working with her closely on our sons disordered breathing and she has been awesome to collaborate with on how best to move forward in solving the issues without simply offering bandaid solutions. The assistants and dentists are wonderful as well.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Darrington and his staff are some of the best healthcare providers in our area. I'm a local Physical Therapist and work alongside other physicians and providers daily. It doesn't get any better than here. We talked about my options, outcomes, cost and he helped me understand what I needed to to make an educated decision. From my initial evaluation I had to put off treatment for a year and when I came back it was like he took care of me the day before. I haven't been this impressed in a long time. keep it up!
