They are gentle and offer much comfort if you need it. I have been following this practice for more years than I can count. I have never once experienced any pain during my treatment. Denise is my dental hygienist and I can honestly say it’s like visiting a good friend. She knows her stuff to keep my dental issues in check! You won’t regret coming here!

They also focus on comfort and have a screen in front of the chair offering ways for you to be more comfortable (e.g. massage chair, pillow, blanket). I know that when I come here I will be taken care of and listened to.

Fantastic experience: The hospitality and care with which I was treated during my New Patient visit was exceptional. It was worth the wait (which can seem long) to finally go through the process to discern what treatment I need going forward. All steps for that discernment were done with skill and making any potential momentary discomfort so brief as to hardly notice. Dr. Brennan walked through each step of upcoming treatment in a way that was not only clear but elicited trust in her expertise and plan. I know I am in good hands. Each person in the practice who handled my details was professional and kind.

Negative experience: Nice office and staff. Unfortunately they didn’t accept my insurance at the location. However I feel that for better business practices they could’ve informed me of this since they had ideal time with the information that I had provided a week prior. They also took the X-rays prior to telling me that I would have to pay out of pocket for my cleaning but had no problem charging my insurance for the X-rays since it was covered. Now I have to wait until next year to get it covered our pay out of pocket now. Definitely not cool

Highly recommend if you have sleep Apnea! My husband received his appliance on 8/21/25. We are hopeful it will help his Apnea and snoring. A flawless process using self pay and bypass insurance/Medicare and jumping through the hoops.

Fantastic experience: Today Denise and Dr O’Shaughnessy took care of me. Denise took x-rays and cleaned and polished my teeth and Dr. O’Shaughnessy examined me and determined that even though I have done a good job of caring for my teeth there was still one tooth that needed a crown. I’m a believer in preventative medicine and so I was happy to make the appointment to get this taken care of before it becomes a big problem. I especially want to thank Denise for her attention to detail. They are a great team and I thank them!

Fantastic experience: Today, I had my first consultation visit with Ellis Dental Group. Dr. O'Shaunessy was awesome. The whole office was calm and put me instantly at ease. I have a lot of things to take care of, and we came up with a convenient timeframe. I was surprised that the projected costs weren't higher, and I left not the least bit nervous about the number of things I have to do. It felt like they were looking to help my plan be affordable, and I did not feel upsold at any point (an unusual experience compared to my last 2 dental practices). They're great so far!!!

Fantastic experience: After emerging from my Covid turtle shell, I was seeking a local dental office near home (I had moved recently). Delta Dental Search App directed me to Ellis Dental. Their office was easy to access and use (Parking, light signals from Big Bend, etc.). Office was beautiful. When I arrived, the office was well staffed and patients were being rapidly welcomed to their appointments from the lobby area. Was able to get appointments quickly perhaps due to it being a holiday week (cancellations etc.). Service was outstanding. Everyone took the time to walk me through everything they were doing and the results of their scouting mission and an overview of billing in detail. I was able to setup future appointments to tackle everything based upon this initial examination. Dr. Kelly O’Shaughnessy was very friendly and walked me through all of the results with thorough explanations. The office had a variety of new technology applied during the initial visit as well that was utilized by the Dr. to review the results and clearly indicate where any trouble was and give an overall assessment of my dental health. This rating is based upon just my initial visit, more reviews will follow based upon additional visits for follow up work (cleaning, etc.). For those who were busy hiding during covid like myself, I'd recommend this office as a great entry point to return to normal. You can always get second opinions after an initial exam of course. This office was in-network for my insurance but it may not be for others. So be sure it is the right fit for you.

Fantastic experience: Love Ellis Dental. Very professional. Accommodating on working with scheduling. Ellis keeps abreast of new technologies, techniques and equipment. They are so good, interested in the patient’s comfort and well being. Try the warm blanket, neck pillow and shade glasses that shield eyes from lighting, etc. I relocated to Arizona but am so comfortable and trusting of them that I remain a patient.

Fantastic experience: Had a molar pulled due to infection last year and just finished the replacement with an implant. Excellent experience... needed a couple of re-schedules due to wintering in Florida, but Dr. O'Shaughnessy was fantastic. Feels like I never lost the tooth.

Negative experience: Took 6 months to get appointment for a cleaning only to arrive and be told that it is exam only, then schedule a cleaning for 6-8 weeks later. But they can get me in for a crown in 3 days or schedule a sleep apnea evaluation right away. Bait and switch, astronomical pricing, do not recommend.

My babysitting fell through for my little ones, so I had to bring my baby and toddler during their nap time while my older daughters had their appointments. Negative experience: 2025 update: opinions have changed, they know why I love everyone in this office. They're all so so friendly. They make sure that you understand either what is going on or going to be done and what your cost is going to be. All of the people here are super great about making sure you're comfortable as well Is both in the waiting room and in the procedure rooms.
