Fantastic experience: I came to Kessler Dental as a new patient with a cracked crown and was taken care of promptly and professionally. The entire team was incredibly gentle, kind, and very considerate of my comfort throughout the visit. All of the work was done in-house, which made the process efficient and stress-free, and everything was completed in a very timely manner. The new crown fits beautifully, and I needed no adjustment time at all. They even provided a blanket and a pillow to keep me comfortable, which was such a thoughtful touch. It’s clear they truly care about their patients. Negative experience: It’s been months since I visited and wasn’t going to review but my conscience won’t let me not. Very sketchy practice. They say you have periodontal disease and need deep cleaning when you don’t. Went back to my old dentist and then even changed to a new closer one and both confirmed I have good healthy teeth and gums. They are just trying to get your money. The whole experience from start to finish was uncomfortable and cult like. Don’t do it, you will be sorry….

Negative experience: Deleted my previous review to re write as it’s been 5 years and I finally saw a new dentist so I can write something more detailed. Kessler was awful. My last dentist prior to them, stopped taking my insurance I had. That dentist did fillings prior to my last visit. Fast forward, I needed a cleaning. It had been 2 years since my last visit and cleaning with my last dentist. Mind you my fillings were 2 years old that the last dentist did. They are silver. Kessler did my exam and kept trying to tell me I have periodontal disease- newsflash- I do not and have already had it confirmed by another dentist. My Aetna insurance Kessler took covered my cleaning, but not the numbing gel for periodontal cleanings. Kessler kept insisting I had periodontal disease and REFUSED my cleaning because I DECLINED the numbing gel and wouldn’t pay them the $200 out of pocket for the numbing gel that my insurance didn’t cover. They also told me all my fillings needed to be root canaled (that’s 8 fillings!!!) and they should not have been filled. Once again, verified by a new dentist I saw- NONE of this is true. Kessler is greedy and money grubbing. Declining my INSURANCE COVERED CLEANING because I declined the extra out of pocket charge for numbing gel is absurd. I will never recommend you to everyone and will share with everyone this poor experience. It took me 5 years after this to see another dentist- because of the trauma and awful visit i had here. Now the dentist just makes me cry and have panic attacks- so yeah- thanks for providing 0/10 service and leaving me with that anxiety around dentists. I need an actual root canal now, on one singular tooth that I broke on an old tongue ring years ago. THATS ALL. None of this other 8 root canals and periodical disease. Also in that 5 years time span between my visit with you and my new dentist, I had a child that I had severe sickness with during my entire pregnancy. And my oral health never changed. It’s you, not me. DO NOT GO HERE- THEY ARE MONEY GRUBBERS.

Fantastic experience: Just had two crowns done at Kessler. This was my first time I had any work done besides cleaning. Best way to say something is that everything went great. Dr Kessler and all of the staff that I met were very nice. They take care of insurance and give you your cost right away. I was very comfortable when the work was being done. They prepped two teeth, designed the crowns and had them done in about 30 minutes. Walked out with two crowns in less than 3 hours. Happy to say that I found the best dentist for me. I would definitely recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I have been to many different dentists. But, Kessler Dental outshines them all. They truly care about their patients. I never had any other dentist take blood pressure and present a comfort menu. I am always cold, so I thoroughly enjoy the blanket and the cute comfortable pillow. I feel like I am relaxing at home. I no longer have dental anxiety! In addition, care plans are thoroughly explained and the front staff is beyond friendly. It is a pleasure to be greeted by them.

Fantastic experience: It was at least 15 years since my last dentist visit and I was worried about damage done and embarrassed about how long I let it go. I got recommended here by a current patient. I had some gum issues and needed two crowns. Every employee I interacted with was warm and non-judgmental. They made it so easy that I’ve gotten the majority of the work I needed done in two or three weeks. They do a wonderful job both emotionally and with restoring my dental health. It was painless. And they offer comfort items like blankets, and headphones. I’ve found my new forever dentist with this practice.

Fantastic experience: Today was my first day as a new patient at Kessler Dental. I have 36 years of past experience working in the dental field, so I know what to look for in regards to professionalism, cleanliness, knowledge, integrity, and honesty. The entire staff treated me with kindness and compassion. The EFDA, Sarah was very nice, she took her time and explained things clearly to me. The hygienist, Jaime was extremely empathetic and caring. I had a diagnosis that was surprising to me. I became emotional and she went above and beyond to ease my fears and concerns as well. She related to my upset that was compounded by external stresses that are occurring in my life right now. Dr. Philip was very kind and thorough and communicated to me that she and the team will be able to help me so I can continue to have a lifetime of successful with my oral health. Beth, the Front desk administrator also showed care, great compassion and understanding as to how I was feeling, this made such a big difference to me. Kessler Dental has truly exceeded my expectations. I’m looking forward to working with this superb team to maintain a healthy smile. Negative experience: I’m disappointed to share that my experience with Invisalign at this practice did not meet my expectations. I have been a patient here for over two years, and while orthodontic treatment was frequently discussed, I only began Invisalign treatment late last year. Unfortunately, I encountered several challenges throughout the process. At my first imaging appointment, I noticed that the staff member seemed unsure of the imaging procedure and needed assistance from others to complete it. Additionally, I had to return for a repeat X-ray because the first one wasn’t done correctly. The attachment appointment went relatively smoothly, but during the IPR process, I felt an uncomfortable amount of pressure applied to some of my teeth. Later in the treatment, I became concerned that an attachment had been missed on my molar, which was only identified during my week six follow-up. I was also advised to clean my Invisalign trays by rinsing them with water, but after some research, I discovered that this might not be the most effective method. During my week six appointment, the dentist caused a small gum injury while sawing and nearly performed IPR on a tooth that didn’t require it. Additionally, although gum recession was mentioned at my first appointment as something to monitor, it wasn’t properly assessed until I raised the issue. I would expect gum recession charting to be part of every appointment to properly track the progress. The difference between my experience at Kessler and my initial consultation with the orthodontist was striking. One of my main concerns throughout both the dental and orthodontic treatments was achieving a balanced bite to prevent uneven wear on my teeth. However, it wasn’t until I consulted with the orthodontist that I realized this goal would require jaw surgery. This made me feel that the expectations set by my dentist were not fully aligned with what was realistically achievable for me. Another point of concern was the payment process. Payment was required in full when using a regular credit card, and when I inquired about a refund, I was told they could only refund $300 out of $2500 since everything had already been processed, except for the retainers, which cost $300. Based on these experiences, I am hesitant to recommend Kessler for Invisalign treatment.

Fantastic experience: I really don’t like going to the dentist, but Kessler Dental somehow makes the experience awesome. I’ve been there many times now and every visit has been nothing but positive. This time, I had the pleasure of being treated by Sarah and Dr. Kessler. They were all incredibly kind, professional, and made me feel at ease. Big shoutout to Sarah for being so helpful and making the visit smooth from start to finish. The staff here are friendly, the dental work is top-notch, and the atmosphere is relaxed.

Fantastic experience: Kessler Dental is the greatest! I broke a tooth on Sunday. I called their office Monday morning. They gave me an appointment at noon. They told me I would need a crown. They gave me an appointment for Tuesday morning and installed a crown in 2 1/2 hours. I could not have asked for better care and service. They told me right up front what the cost would be and it was very reasonable. Thank you to the folks at Kessler.

Very friendly, easy to talk to work & personal. Got my whole mouth X-ray, personal cleaning and fluoride. Got some fillings need to be done. Dr. Kessler as friendly as always.

Negative experience: I went here and the dentist sucked. Cause she lied to me saying I have periodontal disease when I don’t. She put dental pick on my gums and it bleeded. Now she’s saying I have periodontial disease cause it started bleeding when she put dental pick on my gums. She now is making me pay thousand dollars for the periodontal disease she lied about. She also charges too much.

My mouth literally is still numb, but I didn't want to wait too long before I posted how truly great everyone is at that office. True professionals and 5 stars all the way. The way each of the staff members meticulously cares for my dental well being step by step to perfection. As important as staffing the people working on her patients, Dr. Kessler also has the latest technological tools to make every patient feel like they are getting the red carpet treatment. Negative experience: BEWARE! What a shame that Kessler Dental took this money-hungry and pushy turn! I’ve been a patient for many years and never felt so uncomfortable and taken advantage of in my time there (well, they tried…I am now under care elsewhere). They refused to schedule my 3 month periodontal cleaning because they insisted I need a deep clean to treat the bad spots in my mouth (hundreds of dollars on top of the thousand I just spent for crowns). I felt I had no say in my care. On top of that my crown needs a root canal…again! This happened to me last year as well AND it’s chipped (only after a few days of having it). And it looks like I’m not alone in reviews like this for Kessler Dental. Don’t let them take advantage of you! Also, my new dentist is replacing the crown at NO Charge. (Dublin Dental). Find a dentist that genuinely cares about you.

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Dr. Kessler for over 20 years now. I originally was a patient of her father’s. Due to a loss of a job and insurance I neglected my teeth for two years. Recently, I was scheduled to have surgery and needed a dental clearance. Dr Kessler and the staff bent over backwards to get me extra visits to get an infection in my gum under control. I have to give them credit for going above and beyond to get my dental work done before the surgery. Everyone is so professional and friendly. They answered any questions I might have had. My “pearly whites “ have never looked better!

Fantastic experience: I've been a patient at Kessler Dental for many years, and as usual today was another incredible experience receiving dental care. What prompted me to post this review was more about the consistency of this experience and not the fact that anything was materially different. Sarah, who greeted me, and who I never met before, was unbelievable. I almost immediately felt comfortable in my surroundings and thanks to her, completely understood what was going to happen. Constant communication with me during my visit about each step was clear and supportive/encouraging. Once again the entire experience at Kessler Dental was exceptional. I my Kessler Dental Team!

Negative experience: If I could give this office a 0/5 stars I would. All I can hope is that my review will steer someone else away from going to Kessler Dental. I started going to this office in 2021 after moving to the area and needing a new dentist. On my first visit they convinced me I needed to do deep cleanings every 3 months. Which I’ve never heard of in my life. I went with it and paid out of pocket for two extra cleanings. Eventually saying I’d prefer to start coming every 6 months if the hygienist agreed and she did. I ended up with some pain on a back molar that wouldn’t rectify and needed a root canal and crown. 2 weeks ago my crown cracked. I was told when I got the crown if I purchased the night guard there would be a warranty on the crown. After my consultation for the cracked crown, Joe the office manager took me into an office and shut the door. At first he was nice but then he just turned into a jerk not making any sense. He was trying to convince me that when I first started coming to the office I was diagnosed with gum disease. I’m 33 with damn near perfect teeth, get my cleanings every 6 months, floss, brush with an electric tooth brush and rinse with fluoride mouth wash twice a day. I tend to be cavity prone so I’m extra careful. Which is why I needed the root canal it was an old cavity previously filled. Even if I did have gum disease no one ever relayed this information to me. He was essentially saying they couldn’t honor the warranty because I had g disease. It didn’t make any sense because if i had gum disease why was the warranty even offered to me. I left the office crying, he was so ignorant. I was upset enough that my husband went and had a few words with him. Of course I ended up not wanting to go back and made an appt with my husbands dentist. He immediately told me that nothing I did created the crack in the crown. The crown material was SO thin that he was shocked it made it two years and he would have to place a whole new crown. He also confirmed he didn’t see any sign of him disease. His office was even nice enough to contact my insurance and try to do what they can do I didn’t have to pay out of pocket. I tried calling to speak to Dr.Kessler. She hasn’t called me back, no surprises there. Now I’m stuck with paying 1,800$ out of pocket for a new crown because my insurance only covers a crown per tooth every five years. Thanks a lot Kessler Dental.

Negative experience: *UPDATE* Unfortunately this saga is never-ending. The implant fixed the pain from one tooth but the remaining two that they put crowns on are still painful despite multiple bite adjustments (I am seeing another dentist for obvious reasons). While all this is happening my dental insurance switched and now all the complications stemming from their work is considered pre-existing and not covered. Please get a second opinion before doing ANY crown work from here unless you want to live in pain or have ten thousand dollars to spare for a repair job. To add insult to injury their office manager reached out to me via email to discuss this in November and then ghosted me. While placing a crown my tooth was damaged which led to a root canal which failed to fix it. Now the tooth needs to be extracted and an implant placed and eventually another crown put on top. This tooth had an ill fitting filling but was otherwise completely asymptomatic prior to the procedure. Best guess is a fracture in the root occurred during the crown placement but that could never be confirmed. The full cost for fixing what was done is going to be close to $5,000 (and this is after insurance). I understand that complications happen and it sucks when it happens to you. That being said through all this the only thing I asked was for them to honor their crown warranty in the form of a courtesy replacement of the crown that will need to go back on top of the implant. I thought that was fair but instead they gave me an estimate at full cost (after insurance) and said this situation is not covered by their warranty. I guess this is what they mean by "standing by their work." I wish they would reconsider how small this "ask" is in comparison to the impact this has had on my day to day life over the past year. On another note, my husband had a crown placed by them and it has fallen off now THREE times in the past 2 years. -Jenna Armstrong

Negative experience: I would not recommend Kessler Dental. I have had to go back numerous times to get work fixed and have only been a patient for less than six months. I have also asked for a treatment plan of any work needed and it has taken numerous calls, in person visits, and texts and I still have yet to receive it. The staff is very friendly in person. The office itself makes you comfortable during your treatment, but the administrative side has been difficult to deal with and allow myself to know what I am fully going to need. The hours are difficult. They have claimed multiple times they don’t do afternoon (3pm or later) appointments for certain work despite not closing until after 7 some nights. Looking for another dentist.

Negative experience: Don’t ever use this Dentist, all they want is your , they refused cleaning my teeth 1.5 years ago without doing Scaling first, which is hundreds of dollars, so I didn’t go back until today and had an appointment to clean my teeth which they refused to do without expensive NEW X-Rays although they already had X-Rays on file from my last visit. The Dentist was very rude, so I left and I will not be back nor will I recommend them to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Sara, Jen, Dr. Phillip and the scheduler I spoke to the most but can't remember her name, were all fantastic from start to finish. Everything was efficient, clean, felt cutting edge and delivered with kindness and thoroughness. I was surprised at the division of labor which allowed each person to do the thing they are best at. I don't know what I was expecting but whatever it was, the reality was even better. :-)

Fantastic experience: Had crown and filling work done on 2 teeth. Everything was smooth and totally pain free. Dr. Philip and Sarah worked great together to keep me informed and keep the process moving along! Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I'm 67 years old And I've never been to a dental office as great as this one period My experience there was excellent excellent. The staff was so informative and so respectful. I am elated that I found them. All the testing they performed. I have never gotten anywhere else. This is total respect For people with dental issues this is my home now hallelujah

Fantastic experience: My dental hygienist is Rose and she is great. She is so incredibly thorough and I never feel rushed. She takes the time to answer my questions and give me tips on flossing and taking care of my teeth. The staff at Kessler Dental are very nice, caring and professional.

Fantastic experience: It was my first time here today. I had a great experience and was well taken care of. I was asked if i wanted details of my results or just a general idea. They also offer comfort accommodations as the dentist can be overwhelming for a lot of people. My dentist was very patient with me, i told her i don't sit well for long periods. I was in and out fairly quickly and wasn't waiting around. Thank you for an enjoyable experience Kessler Dental!

Negative experience: Deep Cleaning SCAM! I came in for my regular cleaning and was told that I needed "deep cleaning" and it is not covered by my insurance. I turned down the deep cleaning and was told that they would NOT perform my regular cleaning without it. They said that I would need to find another dentist since I refused the service. I found another dentist who also performed the gum check to see if deep cleaning is needed. I was told my gum is healthy and it is NOT NECESSARY. If you want to avoid paying for extra services, avoid this place! The office is also very cold and uncomfortable.

Fantastic experience: Warm, friendly, caring staff. Dr. Mel is the very best!! They make you look forward to going to the dentist. Top notch care and state of the art equipment to keep your entire mouth healthy. Specialists in house to provide any procedures you need. No need to go to a strange office. Dr. Singh, the dental surgeon is terrific as is Jamie, his assistant. They are both so kind and gentle. My dental hygienist today was Rose. What a lovely lady! The office staff was efficient and friendly. I had an all around great experience.

Fantastic experience: Super friendly staff! They make going to dentist a pleasure not a nightmare! Would never go to another dentist. Kessler Dental is where my entire family comes and wouldn’t change a thing! Fantastic Rose my Hygienist is so awesome and my teeth look amazing! Melissa & Dr. Kessler were also awesome as well as front of the office staff! Everyone so pleasant!

Negative experience: They push services that most do not need like deep cleanings and they try to upsell saliva cultures, fluoride treatments and oral cancer screening( which any good dentist would perform as a part of a routine visit). I went to my regular dentist and she reviewed the same X-rays and said that they performed excessive procedures without just cause. I would be weiry about coming here for regular services. I initially wanted just Invisalign, but they had me go through the same review as a new patient. At one point during my assessment, the hygienists said let me poke your gums to inflame them more for the pictures that we send to insurance. It feels like they are practicing insurance fraud and trying to milk your insurance as much as possible for services other dentists would not recommend to you. Also, the hygienist took gum measurements twice and the first time, she said many of my teeth needed a deep cleaning and upon remeasurement she changed a few saying they actually do not need a deep cleaning. I would recommend if they recommend any services outside of a routine cleaning, to get a second opinion, but by that point, you should just change doctors.

Fantastic experience: I always have a great experience! It is new, clean, and spacious. Everyone is always very nice and the service is amazing. I have been coming to Kessler for the last 7 years and it is the best dentist office I have ever been to.

Fantastic experience: Joy was extemely thorough with the cleaning process. Not only that, she was very informative giving all necessary information to keep my teeth in great condition. Most importantly, she made the entire treatment session very comfortable. Dentist can be a scary place. But, I was very comfortable here.

Fantastic experience: After moving home from school I needed a new dentist and I found Kessler Dental through my insurance. From day one they were super kind and inviting! Additionally, if you’re like me and have anxiety when it comes to local anesthesia, this office offers topical, which in my opinion is just as good! Couldn’t recommend Kessler enough!

Fantastic experience: I love going to Kessler dental! Everyone is so nice and helpful. I love getting my teeth cleaned they feel amazing after. The office is very clean. Rose is very knowledgeable and super nice and gentle.

Negative experience: We tried Kessler Dental last year because of a change in dental insurance. I was seen and given my examination and cleaning. I was provided with a large list of treatment plans of which my previous dentist never showed as any issues. My wife was seen the same day and received her examination but refused to do her cleaning because they said she required a deep cleaning and it would be fraudulent use of our insurance to perform the regular cleaning which is to say she was in proper periodontal condition. The deep cleaning was not covered by insurance and I believe this procedure was recommended just to charge a fee above what the insurance would cover. My wife was never given this evaluation before from any previous dentist seen nor has the dentist we went to a couple months later. We have had 2 visits to the dentist we changed to and they could not see any reason why my wife would of ever been required a deep cleaning. In fact the probe test for me had higher numbers than for my wife and keep in mind 2 months earlier at Kessler's office they would not perform the regular cleaning but did do mine. I am not saying that the doctors here are inadequate but beware as a new patient visit they will draw up a treatment plan that may not be necessary.

Fantastic experience: I was very nervous finding a new dentist, BUT this place is an absolute gem. It is incredibly clean and professional inside. The staff was beyond the sweetest. I felt so comfortable. I was blown away with the technology and precision of everything. I had Rose. She was the best part of this experience. I do hate going to the dentist, but she was by my side the entire time and so comforting. 1000/10.

Fantastic experience: Dental work can definitely be scary, but everyone at Kessler Dental, from the front desk to every person working on your teeth, will always make sure you're comfortable and at ease. They'll go at your pace, make sure you understand the procedures and your charges - every single thing. I also love being able to set up appointments via text message! Can't recommend them enough!

Fantastic experience: I had to find a new dentist that accepted my insurance. Haven’t gone since pre-Covid. So far I’ve had a great experience with Joy who took all my X-rays and cleaned my terribly stained teeth. Appointments are on time and the staff is welcoming.

Fantastic experience: After having my first visit at Kessler dental i can honestly say i haven’t never felt so comfortable at a dentist office. Between Megan who was so kind and made sure understood all that she was doing and then Dr. Kessler & Melissa walking me through my next steps. They were all so great! Such a beautiful office with an even more beautiful kind staff!

Fantastic experience: Deathly afraid of the dentist. But not this one. Everyone is kind and understanding. Had to have deep cleaning of my gums and it was a no pain experience. Highly highly recommend going here Second visit, had to have a bit of work done on my bottom right side with crowns. Went seamlessly. Third visit, had more work done and another crown on my bottom left. I hadn’t gone to a dentist in 10 years due to anxiety. Mind you, I ask for nitrous and Ativan. But I no longer freak out about having to go. Dr Kessler - I cannot say enough good things or recommend her high enough . This fraidy cat is not any more.

Fantastic experience: I can't believe I am leaving a 5 star review of a dental office but I am. Since the beginning, Kessler dental has been the best experience in terms of dental work. I have root canals, crowns, extraction, and more after neglecting my oral health for too long. Every step of the way, to everyone at Kessler has been wonderful to deal with. I knew I was in good hands at every point in the process. Most of my work has been spent with Dr. Philip, Dr. Schatz, Dr. Singh, and Jaime (dental assistant). They have been as great as they can be messing around in my mouth.

Fantastic experience: As someone who has struggled to find an attentive and gentle dentist, but was recommended to Kessler dental by a church friend, I highly recommend them for their openness about dental procedures and practice, attention to detail when it comes to insurance benefits and overall friendliness and accommodating nature of a work fearful dental staff from the front desk to the the doctors themselves. Every step of the way through much needed dental work, I felt cared about, I formed and carefully set at ease!

Negative experience: Echoing other reviewers! Where was my sixth month cleaning. First visit...expected x-rays and exams, but recommended replacing my molars with amalgam fillings with crowns!!!! Too much talk of money... Stay away. The experience was patronizing. No talk of care and prevention! Right to the most expensive invasive procedures! Let's do root canals, grind those teeth down and put porcelain over them! I am almost 60 and still have all my own teeth. Dropping insurance and going back to a tried and true, long established practice

Fantastic experience: Great dentist! I started going to Kessler when I first moved to town a few years ago. I was very nervous about starting the search for local medical professionals, but from my first visit with them I felt right at home. Fantastic staff, friendly and accommodating atmosphere, and very clear explanations for procedures needed/insurance claims/payment etc. I have a high level of trust for their ability to take care of me both in the dental work they do and in their professionalism. Can't recommend them highly enough :)
