Fantastic experience: I've lived here, in Horseshoe Bay for 25 years and never used Nunnally, Freeman, Owens. My regular Dentist is an award winner in Austin, but I needed help immediately! I called this office as an Emergency New Patient and they got me in the same day. The office staff was friendly and amazing! Dr. Owens and Dr. Nunnally were fantastic in every way, as were the hygienists. I can't say enough about this great office in general!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Freeman gave me the best medical care I've ever had. I didn't have any pain, swelling or bruising after my 3 failed root canal teeth were extracted, a 12.5 mm infection cleaned out and 3 cavitations cleaned out. I came in from out of state and their practice is well organized and helpful for out of town patients. Mrs. Hernandez helped me with all details of my trip and promptly answered all of my detailed questions before arriving. I appreciated all their prayers!

I had been wrongly diagnosed with periodontal disease and a chronic sinus infection. Nunnelly also suggested two life changing/ life saving books and a functional medicine doctor to address the Graves disease I have been battling for years. Talented far beyond dentistry, he obviously and sincerely cares and so does his staff.

Fantastic experience: I would give 10 stars if I could! NF&O sets a new, and very high standard in dental care that far surpasses anything you have known from traditional offices. I learned of Dr. Nunnally eight years ago when someone I knew went to him for cavitation surgery. His reputation precedes him - I've heard only the most amazing things about Dr. Nunnally and his office, and now I can confirm first hand, they are nothing short of true. Fast forward eight years, and I find out that I also have several cavitations as a result of a botched wisdom removal 23 years ago. As soon as I found out, I knew deep down that I needed to go to NF&O. I flew to Austin from Miami for the procedure last week, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. Not only is the office beautifully decorated, welcoming and cozy like someone's home (nothing like a traditional dental office) but every single person I encountered in that office along the way was amazing. Polite, warm, welcoming and treating me like family. I was a bit nervous about the procedure (I have some PTSD from my wisdom tooth removal experience), and the experience at NF&O was nothing short of healing...not just physically, but spiritually and emotionally too. I felt cared for and safe the whole time. And Jayne's amazing acupressure techniques calmed my nervous system down significantly. The procedure was a breeze and when Dr. Nunnally was done, I barely noticed any difference in my mouth at all. He was very gentle and minimally invasive in his approach, for which I am grateful. I experienced some minor soreness after, but no visible swelling or extreme pain. Within a few days, I was totally back to normal. I cannot recommend NF&O enough - especially Dr. Nunnally. They are a world apart from traditional dentistry and I am so grateful for the opportunity and experience to heal with these very special people. If I need any in-depth dental care (beyond a cleaning) again, I will most definitely be flying back to see Dr. Nunnally. Fantastic experience: I can’t speak highly enough of Dr. Nunnally and his staff. Morgan, the Patient Coordinator, assisted us from beginning to end for all the details. Everything was set up to include hotel options, places to dine and things to do for fun. The minute we arrived the staff made us feel right at home, everything was on time and very professional. I was very nervous but talking with Dr Nunnally I was confident I had made the right decision. Before we started the procedure Dr. Nunnally asked if he could say a prayer. I can’t explain how this took away all my fears and concerns in just a few minutes. After the surgery he took the time to explain everything to my husband and reassured him everything went well and we should see improvement soon, as my husband was more nervous than myself. We had some of the best health food restaurants I have seen. On the last day we went to the Exotic Zoo, what a great adventure! If you’re considering Dr. Nunnally be reassured you made the right decision.

Fantastic experience: Nunnally and Freeman are the best. Freeman worked on me and Nunnally and others worked on my wife. My wife had a tooth extracted and 3 surgeries. She said she never felt any pain. These people do everything to make you comfortable. I took full advantage of the recovery room. They have fantastic zero gravity chairs. Took a long much needed nap. They are not your low cost provider but you get what you pay for. We will come back. We have to drive 4 hours to get there and there is a great RV park less than 10 minutes away. It’s Calle Sun Set RV Resort. It’s also 5 star.

Fantastic experience: I am very impressed with this dental practice! I had a very thorough examination. Dr. Freeman was clear in explaining what work I did not and also did NOT need. Soon thereafter I had a dental hygiene appointment which was also very thorough. My husband had some major dental work done, cleaning out root canals that were infected, etc. We were surprised and relieved how his mouth was not very painful afterwards. Within a week it was evident he was sleeping better than before the infections were eliminated. Maybe the best part for me is every person we encountered who is working there is so kind, compassionate, and helpful. The office has a "homey" feeling as if we are seeing old friends. I am sincerely grateful to have found these folks.

Fantastic experience: First, I went to Dr. Freeman for an emergency visit due to a massive infection under a tooth that had a root-canal. She fits me into her schedule and extracted the tooth two days later. Then I returned for cavitations and another infected root-canal tooth. She did an extraordinary job. I haven't had headaches since. Even though it's costly, it's worth it because the protocol she follows is meticulous, using ozone, and the acupressure, IV Vitamin C, and red light therapy are a significant bonus. Also, she is a good listener, and she is explaining what's going on perfectly. I finally found a skilled dentist and I'm really happy about it. I'd like to add that everyone in her office is lovely.

It’s over an hour drive for me but it’s worth it, and the dental revision was the best thing I’ve ever done for my health. Even on my first visit, I was incredibly impressed by their comprehensive care. It's evident that patients value this approach, as many travel from across the state to be seen here. Dr. Owens was fantastic at explaining everything. I was also able to see visual results of my saliva test showing the bacteria in my mouth. While the services at Healthy Smiles For Life may represent a higher investment, you truly get what you pay for in their thoroughness, attention to detail, and commitment to a holistic treatment plan, extending even to their specialist referrals. This comprehensive and thoughtful approach has made a great first impression, and I highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I cant even begin to express how incredible this office is. I had the absolute best experience and I have always struggled with dental anxiety. They all knew my name, greeted my kiddos and took such incredible care of me. They made sure I was very comfortable and walked me through every step. Dr. Dorsey and Cassie stayed 2 hours late past closing to ensure my crown fit perfectly. Never was anyone ever rushed. They took all the time needed to sure it was a wonderful experience. Positive experience: I've been a patient at this practice for many years, and I truly feel fortunate to have access to such high-quality dental care within an hour’s drive for me. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by warm, friendly staff and genuine smiles that instantly put you at ease. The dentists here are top-notch: they prioritize long-term health, use only high-quality materials, and have always provided exceptional care in person. That said, I wanted to share some feedback in the spirit of continued improvement, which I’ve also communicated directly to the staff. Where I’ve consistently encountered difficulty is in trying to reschedule appointments or reach the right person by phone. The process can be frustrating: it often takes multiple calls to speak with someone who can help, and I've had instances where promised callbacks never came. Unfortunately, this has impacted my ability to get timely appointments. For example, my March visit I tried to reschedule had to be pushed to June because I couldn’t connect with the right person in time (and didn't receive a call back promised). Currently, there’s no online option for rescheduling, which I understand may be part of their desire to offer high-touch service. But in practice, for those of us with busy schedules, this can turn a small adjustment into a multi-day effort. Even the phone system can be tricky; if you don’t have your liaison’s extension handy, the call may simply disconnect. I genuinely believe this practice is committed to delivering excellent care, and I share this feedback in that same spirit. I’d love nothing more than to leave a full 5-star review, and I hope to be able to do so in the future. If the phone and scheduling process could be improved, ideally with more accessibility or streamlined options , I think it would improve the overall patient experience to the same outstanding level as the care itself.

Dr Nunnally and Dr Freeman are outstanding biological dentists who provide such a full array of healing modalities before and after what typically is a complicated surgery including an extraction of a molar tooth and cavitation in another area. Fantastic experience: I had a tooth pulled today and went to Dr Freeman afterward for platelets and IV Vitamin C. I anticipated a tough day. I left saying I felt like I had had a spa day. Negative experience: I did not plan on leaving this review but they keep sending me emails several times per week for the past year. I asked them to stop, yet they keep emailing. So here you go! I have never have seen any dentist in this office personally. I spoke with them on the phone regarding my mother who they took advantage of by charging crazy amount for removing an insane amount of teeth in one visit, charging very high amount for it (because they remove your teeth in a natural way!!! not sure what they describe as "natural" besides a scam of an operation they are doing), and never provided a comprehensive treatment plan afterwards. No proper counseling and no proper advice on what is best what is not. Yes, a patient makes their own decision but as a professional, who must know that the patient has obviously no clue, they need to do what is right . Also, I imagine this is how they get their # of reviews but harassing people non-stop to leave a review until one does just that. Hope this is the review you were looking for. Now, dont respond back to this review telling me you've never seen me etc. I can attach all the emails from you here, but I prefer to not waste any more of my time that I already did on writing this review.

Fantastic experience: I have a lot of anxiety with dental visits, and this office is an answer to prayer! Dr Nunnally even removed a spot on my lip that had been there for years; no pain and no scar. Very happy to be a patient here.

Fantastic experience: For much of my adult life I have had a weak immune system. When my (New Jersey) nutritionist/natural health care provider ordered a stool test and Strep was identified there, he said my mouth was the source of the Strep infection and strongly urged me to see Dr. Nunnally. Since I am in middle Tennessee, and 800 miles from Dr. Nunnally, I first researched, visited and spoke with dentists at two holistic dental groups, both located just 45 minutes from my home. While the dental groups near me are both well respected, I found they do not offer the comprehensive care Dr. Nunnally offers. For example, they do not offer the IV vitamin C (25 grams/treatment) or the acupressure Dr. Nunnally provides. (Instead, they give the patient 1 gram of vitamin C and no acupressure). Wanting the best immune support I could get, I chose to fly to Texas for evaluation and treatment with Dr. Nunnally. My experience with Dr. Nunnally and his staff was excellent. As other patients have reported, the treatment they provide is second to none. Dr. Nunnally is a highly-skilled, highly-respected practitioner. The care at his practice is well-coordinated, peace-filled, gentle, professional and, in my experience, very effective. The equipment is state-of-the-art. Care I received before my visit and after I returned home was also very good with Dr. Nunnally’s staff and Dr. Nunnally himself providing solid answers to my myriad pre- and post-op questions. (Thank you, Morgan, Sam and Annabelle, for your part in the stellar health care I received.) I would also like to add that I already see a strong improvement in the strength of my immune system. In the seven weeks since my (4) cavitations were remediated, I have had three significant challenges to my health, situations that, in the past, would have ended in my battling some sickness. I have weathered all three situations with NO illness at all. This is a remarkable change, about which I am absolutely thrilled! Since nothing in my health care regimen has changed in the past few months, I must attribute the great improvement in my health to the oral surgery Dr. Nunnally performed. (I only wish I had known to have it done 20 years ago!) There is a reason people from all 50 states and 47 different countries have chosen to get their holistic dental care from Dr. Nunnally and his colleagues. I highly recommend this practice and will see them again should the need ever arise.

Negative experience: I’ve been relentless nagged about giving a review for this place. It’s a dentist office that looks more like a funeral parlor. They provide bizarre holistic treatments that attract rich weirdos from everywhere. I asked to get an opinion about a dental repair plan and was informed that my teeth looked the way they did because I was a drug addict. Which I’m not. I had all my dental work done in Turkey and they look great. Very odd place.

Negative experience: I was really excited about this practice initially, especially after listening to Dr. Nunnally on Luke Storey’s podcast but overall, the experience hasn’t been worth it for me. First, only one specific person handles scheduling, which meant I had to call three days in a row just to get ahold of her because she was always with another client. On a positive note, the hygienist who cleaned my teeth was excellent—thorough and informative. I appreciated that they showed me which bacteria were present in my mouth and explained how to treat it at home. However, they mentioned seeing a cavity, but the dentist never discussed it with me. When I went to pay, I was handed my treatment plan, which stated they would need to divide the “four” into two visits. Confused, I had to ask, “Four of what?” Only then did the scheduler explain that I had four cavities. It seemed odd that neither the hygienist nor the dentist had discussed this with me. To be sure, I sought a second opinion from another dentist, who confirmed the four cavities, which gave me some peace of mind. Today, I returned to have the cavities filled. I ended up waiting over 50 minutes in the dental chair with no apology for the delay. The first filling went smoothly, but when the dentist moved to the lower teeth, it hadn’t been properly numbed, and the pain was terrible. I had to stop her immediately—something that has never happened to me before, despite having many cavities filled in the past. Another downside is that they don’t bill insurance directly. You have to pay in full at the time of service and then submit the claim yourself, which takes about two months for reimbursement. Overall, I had high hopes for this practice, but the experience has been disappointing.

Fantastic experience: I flew from California & had a cavitation and root canal extraction. The experience was amazing. The team was beyond attentive and complacent. They did an amazing job at explaining everything. Even when I returned back home they've been amazing at answering my questions. It's a shame I live in a different state or else they would be my go to dentist office. Everyone from the front desk to the doctors were just beyond amazing.

Fantastic experience: I have been with these amazing dentists since we moved to the area 5 years ago. Nothing compares. They have ozone treatment and bacteria diagnostics to keep you healthy and not needing any aggressive treatments.

Fantastic experience: Had the most incredible experience with Dr Nunnally, his assistant Denise, patient coordinator Shelly, and his entire office. I drove 6 hours round trip and would do it all over again. The customer service and patient care is unmatched, my husband and I actually felt like family. I prayed to God for guidance and Dr Nunnally gave me the reassurance and peace of mind that I needed. Not once did I ever feel like his office was trying to sell or push anything onto me. My entire visit was probably 2 hours, a complete new patient exam and I didn’t not feel rushed at all. Denise tested my dental plaque, took me to the microscope to see any bacteria in my gums, then gave me a very informative session about basic dental hygiene and the best routine to care for my teeth. Dr Nunnally showed me exercises to help with a popping jaw joint as well. I typically have dental anxiety, but I actually had FUN at this appointment. I felt so safe and like the office truly cared about my health and comfort. So refreshing and I would recommend this practice over and over again.

Fantastic experience: Nunnally, Freeman and Owens was th best dental experience I have ever had. The office and entire team is phenomenal to work with. I left feeling so much better than before I arrived and would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Talk about life-changing. I had the great fortune to come to Nunnally, Freeman, and Owens seven months ago to have a 20 year old root canal checked, removed, and the area cleaned--and it was the beginning of the turnaround of my health, literally. The tooth had no pain or other symptoms, but as soon as I got up from the procedure, I could tell I was a changed person. I felt like an angel, so much lighter, so happy, just beaming. It was a healing miracle. My family is so amazed and happy with "the new me." It will blow your mind too when you realize how much stress, anxiety, insomnia, fatigue, etc. can be caused by a tiny little undiagnosed infection in a tooth. I can also see that taking this load off my immune system has dramatically improved my ability to detoxify other areas of my body, and many of my assorted physical symptoms have dropped away as well. Best health decision ever.

Fantastic experience: Absolute best experience of my life. I have extreme dental anxiety and have had horrible experiences other places. I drove over 9 hours and would do it 100 times over for the quality and level of care I experienced.

Fantastic experience: We had a great experience with Dr. Freeman. Both my wife and I had all metal work removed from our mouth plus they removed 2 root canals from myself. It all went quite well and I was surprised that after all that work I never got any inflammation at all

Fantastic experience: I had three cavitations that Dr Owen’s took care of for me. I’m in my sixties and can say hands down it was the best medical experience I’ve ever had. I had no issues afterwards other than upon getting out of the dental chair I noticed my knees were no longer stiff and sore. I have had zero issues with the inflammation that troubled me prior to my procedure. It the most welcoming and caring medical office ever.

Fantastic experience: I had my teeth cleaned and a cone beam x-ray done at Nunnally. My experience was great. Friendly and kind people. The x-ray gave me peace of mind that I did not have any so-called cavitations and that my oral health is good!

Fantastic experience: We traveled all the way from FL for treatment recommended by our holistic doctor. Their intervention was life changing for us. The facility was really nice, the care was outstanding and the communication was second to none. The healing process was pain free. I would come back for implants!

Fantastic experience: Found this place when I was looking into getting the amalgams removed from my teeth. The staff there is amazing! You are treated very well and they try to ensure you are comfortable and they make sure you understand the process. No matter how far away you are, they are worth the drive, flight or whatever mode of transportation you use as they will take great care of you!

Fantastic experience: This dental office offers a relaxed environment with honest, kind and knowledgeable professionals. Their office on Marble Falls is around 40 minutes away but I gladly drive there twice a year just for my peace of mind. I believe them to truly practice putting patient’s wellbeing first.
