Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to Brilliant Smiles. I came in because I had a toothache and found a dentist on Google. They were able to get me in within a few hours of my calling, so it was very short notice. They were very friendly and helpful. They got X-rays of my teeth and I saw Dr Nicholas Wyatt, who explained what the X-ray pictures showed. I was prescribed antibiotics and a steroid and will be going back next week for dental work. I have no complaints

Fantastic experience: My daughter and I had our 6mth cleaning and check today. Our checking was easy and we had no wait. We were cared for by Wildan, Delaney , Mariah and Dr. Wyatt. They were so nice and took amazing care of us. I would definitely recommend.

Negative experience: My son, who is a young adult, was told by the dentist he saw at Brilliant Smiles that he had 13 cavities. When my son was visiting me for Thanksgiving, I had our family dentist of 30 years x-ray and assess his teeth. He had one cavity and three teeth that need to be watched.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Tallent and his assistant Julia did a fantastic job with their services. Best dentist in town. Worked well with my gag reflexes and were very patient.

Fantastic experience: My dental appointment on 22 Sept. 2025 for cleaning was excellent. The dental hygienist was thorough and she tells funny stories, which is relaxing. Dr. Wyatt is very knowledgeable and was helpful in getting me a form fitted mouthguard to protect my teeth from damage due to clenching. I always feel like I'm in good hands when I'm there.

Fantastic experience: Okay to be very candid I am terrified of the dentist and have autism so it is a sensory and guessing game nightmare. But here? They took care of me and took my thoughts and concerns with such care. Every step, they told me exactly what they were about to do, WHY they were doing it, and WHEN they were doing it. No guessing games, no stress. From the receptionist (shout out to Brittany for being lovely and so thoughtful) all the way to the dentist. I wish I remembered the name of the person who took my xrays, they were especially kind and thoughtful on each step and I was SO at ease. And cannot thank Laura (the hygienist, so sorry if not the right name but I think it was!) for just talking about their life and day to get me through the cleaning, as that is usually a sensory nightmare but it made it sooo much easier! I feel more confident going to the dentist now that I know there is this lovely team ;u; The vibes were immaculate and soothed my anxious little soul!

Dr. Sullivan is very thorough and knowledgeable. They are very good about explaining all of the options for treatment without any pressure. The office is clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. There is rarely any wait time. I highly recommend Brilliant Smiles.

Negative experience: Buyer beware, Brilliant Smiles is now corporately owned. We are fortunate to have double dental insurance and my daughter was told her dental work would be at no cost, then she received a bill for 1k. My wife visited and needed work and was required to pre pay, after a q&a session she finally figured out that both our insurances were no longer in network. After 20+ years with Dr. Austria we are forced to move on. I can’t believe that they haven’t contacted their customers to explain they are no longer accepting certain insurances seems almost criminal…

She is incredible at what she does. Mariah is not only knowledgeable and skilled, but she also has a calming and friendly demeanor that immediately puts you at ease. Negative experience: Hello Readers, As many others have mentioned, the staff here are truly kind—especially the front desk team and the dental hygienist! :) That said, I want to share one specific experience that was disappointing for me, with the understanding that my situation is a bit unique. I’ve had several major surgeries that have caused gum complications, and I also have two visible cavities near those areas. I’ve seen two periodontists who both said standard fillings should be fine in those spots. I arrived for a scheduled cleaning, but was told they weren’t sure how best to clean my teeth and therefore couldn’t proceed. When I saw the dentist, I explained what the periodontists had recommended and asked for normal fillings. His response—“What do you mean?”—left me confused and a bit frustrated. I understand their caution, but I wish they had at least cleaned the unaffected areas of my mouth. To their credit, they did not charge me for the visit, which I appreciated. Still, the overall experience led me to switch providers. Additionally, I want to note something that may or may not apply to others. During my first visit here, the dentist pointed out a spot that he said could turn into a cavity, though my previous dentist had never mentioned it. I scheduled a follow-up, but later canceled it. When I brought it up to my new dentist, he said it’s not something to worry about now—just something to monitor. So, while I do think the providers here are skilled, I would recommend getting a second opinion if you're ever unsure about a suggested treatment—especially if it seems inconsistent with your prior dental history. Again, the staff are lovely, and I don’t think my experience reflects the norm. But I hope my story offers a helpful perspective to others. Thanks! :)

Negative experience: If your looking for a dentist who sees you as a HUGE $$$, this is the place for you! I went there because of the great reviews, what a mistake!!! Although the receptionist & staff do seem very nice. I had a back molar that broke. They took x-rays & said I had another tooth that was worst & it needed immediate attention, ok. It sounded like it was very severe, decay close to the pulp. Mr. Sullivan drilled it left & his efda filled it, he never bothered to check her work! Got home, only to have my tongue cut up because it wasn't polished, there was a lump left that tore me up. While I went there for my broken tooth, understanding I could some other small issues, Mr Sullivan told me all my fillings in my molars should be replaced AND I had 9 cavities!!! My out of pocket cost after insurance, almost $11,000!!!! Unbelievable!!!! Last 20 years, I've taken very good care of my teeth, this was shocking & depressing!!!! I got a second opinion & I DONT HAVE ANY CAVITIES!!!

Jonell, the receptionist greeted me with all smiles while checking me in for my appointment. Maria chatted with me while taking me to the room to be seated. Very nice! Verdun cleaned my teeth and he was very intent on cleaning them well. Saxony gave me a fluoride treatment and was very nice. She also set me up for my next appointment with all smiles. Dr. Neha Vazirani is my dentist. She was very nice in explaining my dental issues and what needs to be done. I am very impressed with the staff there.

Fantastic experience: I'm so glad to get into this dentist office. They are very thorough, polite, professional. They talk to you answer your questions. I think I'll be going here for a long time. My children also had great visits too. I do recommend. It is pricey but I think that you won't find it cheaper elsewhere. Just depends on the work needed done. It's worth spending a little more if you have confidence with everyone thats involved. They do have an insurance within the company and that is helpful. 2025 it's a new year and I just had work done on an old filling. Thanks Julie, you did a wonderful job and its much appreciated.

Dentist usually scare me, but Dr. Wyatt and Mariah made me feel some comfortable and explained everything to me step by step. Negative experience: I have been going to Brilliant Smiles for at least 10 years. It was wonderful when it was owned by Dr.Austria, but it is now owned by a corporation whose bottom line is profit. The turnover rate is astonishing. I have never had the same hygienist or dentist in a few years. Today was the final straw, and my last visit. I went in for a 6 mos. cleaning. When I got there I was presented with a cleaning plan for my visit. I have no idea what it all entailed as the list was a long one, and hundreds of dollars. I go every 6 months, am in perfect health and have zero dental problems! I told them I just wanted my normal cleaning ....no xrays or anything else. Well, that did not sit well with the dental staff. I was told they had to wait for a dentist's approval before they could clean my teeth! I was ready to walk out when the most unpleasant hygienist I've ever had walked in and told me how terrible it was to not do the xrays. She proceeded to do the worst and fastest cleaning I have ever had, and that's saying a lot! She said not one word to me the entire time....took me to the office to pay and walked away . The office staff were the only pleasant people I encountered. I am perfectly capable of deciding what I want done to my teeth, and there was no excuse for their rude behavior. I have been wanting to find a new dentist for some time now, and thanks to today's encounter, I will be finding a new one. I would not recommend this corporate owned, profit motivated practice.

Negative experience: The dentist would not see me nor come talk to me about my declining X-rays ( 25 minute mark). This dentist would not consider seeing me based on the amount of X-rays I’ve had elsewhere for another medical condition. It was do the X-rays or he wont see you told to me by hygienist. No discussion of which X-rays might be best or what the dentist wanted to check on in my mouth. Dentist never saw me. Just got a cleaning and pero chart). Hygienist was great. Dentist could have explained his stance directly to me. I believe it is called informed consent. I told them when I arrived my situation and they could have canceled me instead of dentist refusing to see me. This was just my experience today. Maybe yours will be different. Dr. Schlevin (spelling might be off) when she was there always talked to me about the X-rays and my current situation.

I came back 2 weeks later and Verdun and Serenity had my teeth feeling cleaner then ever! During checkout Montanna made me feel appreciated and welcome back anytime. 100% recommend!

The staff are very pleasant and knowledgeable. They got me in for a potential dental emergency quickly. And I have complete confidence in their doctors as compared to my old place which completely dropped the ball on me. Fantastic experience: This is my third and final visit in my “Great Crown Journey “ and it was the icing on the cake as I got my permanent crown installed! Woo Hoo! I was met with the most beautiful smile by Molly, who also took great care in all the preparations for final crown installation. Molly is the consummate professional, going through all the steps necessary for this procedure. I honestly don’t know how she keeps track of all the things that she does, but trust me she’s the best at what she does. And did I tell you how she makes sure you are completely at ease? Molly is truly a gifted young lady - thanks Molly! After all of her preparations were complete, Dr. Sullivan popped in and in goes the crown without a hitch! Top man Dr. Sullivan! End of my “Great Crown Journey “ and it was simply the best! As I have said before - if you don’t have a dentist, please consider Brilliant Smiles - they are simply the best!

Positive experience: I was very happy with Verdun’s cleaning of my teeth and his recommendations for home care. Serenity explained what he had her do for me. And Jonell was quite helpful in comparing cost of care with and without insurance. This office seems to have a very frequent turnover of staff. Jonell is the only person I recognize-and I go twice a year. I would suggest visible name tags and staff coming around the chair so the patient can see them.

Fantastic experience: Molly has helped me navigate the ups and downs of having all my teeth removed, all the impressions, all the temporaries and adjustments, and the change in Drs. She has been able to answer all of my questions and concerns with compassion and understanding. There have been a few times that the dentist and I were not on the same page and Molly would intervene. After lengthy procedures and eventually having all my teeth pulled due to a long term illness, I’m coming to the home stretch of getting all my teeth replaced one way or another. During this time Molly and Jonell have been the constant. Molly seeing to it that I really understand what is going on and helping me transition from one dentist to another and Jonell’s desire and certainly the ability to run an office like it should be. They both are very intelligent in their respected professions. When you spend that much time and money getting help for your teeth so that you will have the best long term outcome, you become close to those involved with your care and Molly and Jonell are in the top of their fields.
