Negative experience: I was there yesterday for my 11 a.m. appointment and when I was called to do my x-ray the dental assistant touched my lip with her BARE HAND!!!!!! I was LIVID!!!!! That was very unsanitary and she knew better to have gloves on when she is working with ALL patients!!!!! If I could give zero stars then I would

Fantastic experience: Very helpful and the doctor was very nice and explains everything to a point were you can understand the process

Negative experience: I took my two children to this dental clinic, but I’m very disappointed with the experience. The dentist did not check them properly and spent less than 4 minutes with us. The service felt rushed, and the doctor was quite rude and unprofessional. As a parent, I expected more care and attention for my kids. I hope the clinic improves their behavior and gives patients the time and respect they deserve.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Kim was my doctor for my extraction today and it went by smoothly! He was patient and took his time to explain everything to me in detail which I greatly appreciate. I could tell he really enjoys his job which is something that is crucial for healthcare. He was also assisted by Tomasa, she was lovely! Very warm, welcoming, and easy to talk to right when I walked through the door. She made the experience all the better since I didn’t have anyone to accompany me today. Overall, loved my visit!

Fantastic experience: Please don’t assume anything when you get here, they have some of the best dental service I have experienced. Though it was a busy day, and the wait was lengthy, once I got to the back the service was awesome. Both the assistant & doctor were very caring and informative. They walked me through everything that I needed & continued to explain everything as I was getting a cavity filled. I plan on continuing to go here for service. 2 years later. I forgot I left a review and I wanted to leave another but Google isn’t letting me. But they are just as GREAT as they were when I first began to come in. They’re honest and informative. Genesis has to be one of the hardest working women in Dallas. She’s always there and always has a smile. Delivering exceptional customer service every time I’m in for an appointment. This team is all around awesome!

Isabel the receptionist greeted me as soon as I walked in the door where I’ve had experiences of just walking in to complete silence. Definitely would recommend Dr. Kim’s office because of its employees and the atmosphere!

Positive experience: I feel like my braces will never come off. I was told a year on Jan 3rd. My appointments have been scheduled with more than a month in between my wire was just changed out 6 months in. Then I was told if my bracket breaks again I will be charged when clearly my braces were put on carelessly with a thin wire with my appointments being scheduled over a month. My last visit they forgot to schedule my orthodontist appointment and only scheduled my cleaning. So I've missed another month. Definitely should have gone somewhere else with more availability. If you need to cancel the next appointment will be over a month out.

Fantastic experience: I was in need of a bottom partial. My local office didn’t do partials anymore. So I drove from Greenville to this office on Skillman in Dallas. I can not say enough nice things about this place and the staff. Tomasa, Genny, Maria S. and Dr. Kim are all amazing. From the moment I arrive to the moment I leave. This dental journey I have been on has been long, painful, and expensive. But once I came to this office I was put on a payment plan so that I could afford my beautiful smile that I am leaving with today. I will forever be grateful for this office and staff and highly recommend them to others! Remember- a smile is the prettiest thing you can wear!

Fantastic experience: Great staff. I’ve been here for cleanings, lower braces and now replacement of an older crown. Dr Kim and Ariana were great through the entire process. Dr Kim is really thorough and does a great job explaining what is happening and what he is doing along the way. Ariana was a great assistant too w X-rays, cleanings etc. Definitely recommend this location. The front staff is very friendly too and the GM also terrific. I feel very comfortable and very safe coming to this location. Dr Kim is the best! Truly!

Negative experience: READ UPDATE BELOW: Dr Gino Silvestre is the bomb! Bedside manner is top notch. Completely painless shots!! Don’t let the word of his humor or his “tik tok side hustle” make you lose focus of the fact that this is a top notch doctor! Knows his stuff! (And I’m a TOUGH customer to win over, coming from a dental family all my life!) Office staff is super helpful and patient. Didn’t interact with Dr. Kim but heard nice things about him too. Dental assistants are very sweet. UPDATE: I wrote this while still numb. After it wore off, I realized I had a tooth ache! Dr. Gino wanted to replace my filling that I had for almost 50 years with ZERO problems. I told him no. He was pushy and insisted that “one day” I’ll have problems with it. My uncle (former Texas Dental Association president AND former American Dental Association president) filled in when I was 12. I’m 60 now with ZERO problems. Suddenly after I leave this office, the filling is killing me! Coincidence??? Or messed with me while I was anesthetized? I don’t know but it’s kinda strange timing.

Positive experience: They take all day. If you’re having a bad tooth ache like I am and half dying , this ain’t it. Yes, they are nice, but that does nothing if you’re in pain & it’s taking them forever. I was better off going to the hospital. My appointment was at ten and it’s almost noon and they still haven’t started yet. Like damn come on man

Negative experience: “Avoid Smiley Dental at All Costs!” If you’re reading this, I hope you’re in good health, because if you’re not, DO NOT go to Smiley Dental. This place is a disaster waiting to happen, and I’m speaking from personal experience. I went in needing a crown and was told I needed a root canal as well—something no other dentist or orthodontist has ever told me before. Against my better judgment, I trusted them and paid $3,400 for the procedures. What did I get in return? A crown that wasn’t even properly secured, a massive bill for a root canal I didn’t need, and some of the most unprofessional care I’ve ever encountered. Fast forward, and my crown fell out. When I went back for them to fix THEIR mistake, they refused unless I paid even more money! This level of greed and negligence is appalling. If you value your teeth, your time, and your money, stay far away from Smiley Dental. They’re not just incompetent—they might make your situation worse. Trust me, this was one of the most regrettable decisions I’ve ever made, and I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone.

Fantastic experience: They are good for the children, they have a nice clean facility and good staff ( only been here a year), they are phenomenal.

Negative experience: The receptionist was very rude. When I walked in cheerfully and said, "Good morning," she just looked at me without responding. I mentioned to her that it's rude not to say "good morning" back. As a consumer, I did not appreciate her attitude.

Negative experience: I wouldn't recommend this office for a dog. The staff including the Dr lack integrity & are clearly looking for a money grab. I took my child into this office & they indicated that my toddler had several cavities that required fillings on at least 4 teeth and needed sealants for several other teeth which I found to be alarming as he has had routine dental visits which didn't support these claims. These people initiated prior authorizations to the insurance for additional teeth that were not on the initial training plan without any notice of additional services being required. I took my child to a different dentist who stated that fillings were definitely not needed! These people were going to have my child undergo an unnecessary procedure for profit! I will never go back and will tell everyone I know about these scammers! Also the front office staff are rude and obnoxious.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Kim was super fast, informative and helped ease my nerves by helping me map out a treatment plan. Genesis was awesome! She took the time to thoroughly explain some difficult questions about insurance as well as even took the extra time to personally help me get started with Care credit in order to get the ball rolling with my treatment and help me figure out a way to pay for it all. Beyond impressed by this entire location from the moment I walked through the front door til I walked back out to leave. They made a not great situation much easier on me and I look forward to my next appointment.

Negative experience: I had a confirmed appointment for 9am today, but there is no one here and the doors are locked. Been trying 15 minutes knocking on the doors and calling their front desk, nothing. Never had this issue before, been going here for the last year and a half.
