Negative experience: Initially, it was a good experience with Dr. Isaac. But then he decided leave the team, then Dr. Daniel Nelson took over. The long recovery plans were terribly communicated. When I brougbt this up to him, he refused to take responsibility as the team leader. I mentioned to him all the miscommunication by his team and like a spoiled child he got angry and hung up the phone. He then sent a letter to cancel further plans with me. What a child! Grow up doc.

Fantastic experience: They are all amazing! You walk in and you are treated like your appointment is important. When you go back to the room for treatment they are amazing. She talked with me. Gave me a briefing on what to expect with my implant. Asked me several times if I had any questions or concerns. I felt very comfortable. Then the Dr came in and he was awesome. My procedure went great! They sent me home with care instructions and made sure I knew if there was any problems to call them. Thank you guys so much.

He even follows up with a phone call on the night after surgery to ensure his patients are doing OK and respond to any questions they might have. Fantastic experience: I had a tooth break off at the root and needed to have the root pulled out. I was able to get in quickly and get the work done. The staff was great. Very friendly, very professional and they all had great chairside manners. Alexa was my nurse or chairside assistant and walked me through the whole process. She gave me complete instructions for after surgery. Dr. Mike did the procedure and he was very friendly as well. I would definitely use them again.

Fantastic experience: Everyone is scared of the dentist or having any work done in their mouths. I’ve heard the wisdom teeth stories as a child and as an adult. Yeah surgery is scary but the team at Great Plains made me feel less anxious and not worried at all. Even though I only had the top two taken out, it was so easy. They gave me the general stuff. Woke up fine. Went back to sleep when I got home, and pain was mild. My surgeon even called me on his way home to make sure I was doing alright. If the feed back was more than 5 stars They would be getting a 10/10! Or as some teachers would say: you got a 100%!!!!

Fantastic experience: When you are in your 80s, you don’t expect to have a problem with your wisdom teeth. However, I recently learned I needed the expertise of an oral surgeon. Thankfully, Dr Dan provided that expertise in a very kind and caring way. The surgery went very smoothly and his efficient and friendly staff, (Angie, Ann, & Michaela) sent me home with careful instructions for a full and speedy recovery. In fact, they treated me like family!

Dr Isaac did an amazing job , AMAZING. he explained everything the day of my consultation , reassured me the day of surgery that it would be super easy and smooth. His whole team were very caring with me and made me feel safe. I remember I woke up , went home and the recovery very easy and smooth, no bad pain at all, very little swollen just the day of surgery but nothing ugly. Was explained throughly the aftercare instructions. i highly recommend Dr Isaac! He even called me that same day later in the evening to check how I was feeling, really appreciate that. Fantastic experience: This is the best oral surgery office in town. Super smooth wisdom teeth procedure for my daughter. They're doing it earlier now--like 15, 16 years old--and it makes it easier. Doctors here give you as much information as you could possibly ask for, no feeling dumb for asking questions. I will bring my younger kids here when it's time for them.

Negative experience: Not sure how I'm feeling about this place. My son needs his wisdom teeth removed and we were referred here. So far, it's been chaotic at best with everything. It's extremely expensive and they don't do payment plans so you better have money if you come here. They do accept Care Credit. The lady who checks you out is an attitude waiting to happen. She might be the person who does the phone calls as well because that one is the same. Very monotone and waiting to argue. She kept cutting me off and correcting me that we needed to bring my son's inhaler. I explained that we wouldn't be bringing it if it's expired, but she kept insisting and cutting me off. I finally let her know we already spoke with the doctor and discussed, end of story. They also will move your time whether you can make it or not. It's all about the people who work here and not the patients. We were scheduled for 7:45a.m. and told a day before surgery it was moved to 6:45 so he needs to be there or cancel. Can't call next in line and see if they want the earlier slot, it's just next in line and then moving all patients up? Seems like more work to me and they don't care if you've already created your work day around the time you originally had. Not sure I would recommend this place to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I just got my wisdom teeth removed yesterday. I feel amazing. I can walk perfectly fine and my mouth doesn’t hurt too much. I was really worried about what I’m going to dream about when I sleep or if I’m going to be okay before and after. What I remembered: I honestly remember saying that I wasn’t ready and then I was knocked up. I had to have laughing gas so I wouldn’t be scared. I didn’t even feel the shot at that point. I woke up I remember walking to the recovery room and walking to go to the car and home. Afterwards: My mouth didn’t hurt the whole day yesterday. My stitch already fell out (tmi). But overall it went great! I don’t even know why I was worried anymore! Thank you doctor Michael Issac ! I think he was my dentist. I don’t really remember. Fun Fact: if y’all are scared of how you would open your mouth when u sleep, apparently u open your mouth by yourself when ur asleep! What helped me: The medicine helped me so much! What also helped A TON is an ice pack! I got mine from Amazon just copy and search on amazon “ Hilph Face Ice Pack Wisdom Teeth Ice Pack Head Wrap with Washable Jaw Wrap and 4 Replacement Hot Cold Pack for Facial Oral Surgery, TMJ, Tooth Extraction, Dental Surgery, Tonsillectomy Recovery” It’s like a best friend! It helps so much and doesn’t make you feel bad at all.

Fantastic experience: Not even 30 minutes out and I feel great. Getting knocked out was weird but it made it happen fast. It kind of felt like the start of heat stroke and then I was out. When I regained my senses, I was just about to get my IV taken out. I think I was in a different room? I don't remember anything about the surgury and in my mind it was about a minute. Very caring and informative people. Highly recommended. It's been about 9 hours now and my oral surgeon just gave me a call to check how I was doing and had any questions. Had a small conversation and answered all my questions. I wouldn't be nervous if I had to do it again. 10/10

I am always apprehensive when it comes to dental work, but they made sure I was as comfortable as I could be. I had the pleasure of having Dr Mike, and he was very thorough in his explanation which made the experience even more comforting. Would highly recommend for any dental need!

Negative experience: It seems like maybe I just had bad luck with them but their staff told me that I could still have my surgery even though I was sick the week prior. Came in for the surgery and they treated me like I was stupid for coming in. Wasted the entire day along with family there to take me home after the surgery. Then they said because I had asthma it had to be done in the hospital. They didn’t communicate that it wouldn’t be covered under my insurance and the hospital said they knew and should have informed me. Not to mention doctor Isaac did not give me confidence in his ability to perform the surgery. I wouldn’t recommend at all. Some of the staff was nice but overall would advise against coming here.

Fantastic experience: Wow. Five stars all around. From the minute I walked into this practice, I felt comfortable. The front desk staff was friendly and the facility was clean. Everyone I encountered along the way made me feel so calm. I was very nervous for my procedure but the staff took the time to get to know me and asked me questions about myself to take my mind off of the procedure. Dr Dan Nielson was extremely knowledgeable, had fantastic bedside manner and was very personable. The procedure was this morning and so far I've had very minimal pain. Dr. Dan was awesome, welcoming, informative, and honest about the entire process. Went in for the procedure, and was all finished up within an hour and some change. Even checked on me later that evening to see how I was doing. I had called other practices my dentist recommended for weeks to schedule my appointment, but Dr. Dan’s office answered first call, and got me scheduled immediately. Very good experience, great staff!

Fantastic experience: All went well. Dr Nielson called that evening to make sure she was doing well and answered some questions we had about pain management. Communication at the end was great. Communication at the beginning of the process could be better. I’m not a huge fan of doing everything online just to get her scheduled for a consultation but I know that is how things are going with all providers. Bottom line is I would refer to a friend and am happy with his work so far.

Nobody actually likes having to go to an oral surgeon, but I don’t believe anyone could find a better practice when you need them. (They even don’t judge when you are a wacko coming out of anesthesia!)

Fantastic experience: I was nervous about my procedure today, but the nurses were very nice and understanding with my worries. Dr. Mike was very informative and kind and made the experience go very smoothly.

Fantastic experience: Staff and Dr Isaac very courteous and kind. Some pain from injections to numb site, and hard to break away very back tooth in limited space, but didn't last long. Out of office with very detailed instructions. Discomfort on first day at home to be expected, but by evening, pain controlled by non-prescription meds. Second day pain free! I would certainly refer anyone to this great clinic.

Fantastic experience: Dr Neilson managed to get in me on short notice and from first step in to my last step out everything was first class. Office is inviting and professional, his team is warm, friendly and skilled, and Dr Dan manages a great balance between putting his patient at ease with humor and kindness along the professionalism you expect from a surgeon. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I just had my wisdom teeth extracted today. The entire staff was very hospitable, caring, and reassuring. I couldn’t stop talking about Jeff!! He made me feel so safe and did his best to make me laugh and keep my mind off of my anxiety. The staff doesn’t just perform surgery; they create personal relationships with their patients.

Fantastic experience: Dr Mike and the whole staff were fantastic! They made an uncomfortable experience one that was the best that it could be and the most pain free of any extraction I've ever had. His personal follow later in the day to check in to see how I was doing was incredible and something I had never experienced before. I'd highly recommend their office.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic experience. Dr. Dan Nielson has a phenomenal personality and eased my anxious teenage child’s fears instantly, which she later dubbed “talkasthesia.” The office is clean, organized and appears to be a well-oiled machine. The procedure and post-op instructions were very clear and the office team a thorough in every aspect. Dr. Dan personally called the same evening of surgery to make sure my kiddo was doing well. I will definitely return in two years when my next teen is ready to have their wisdom teeth removed.
