Fantastic experience: Today was another pleasant visit to PIEDMONT DENTISTRY. The staff is great. When I walked in they all looked up at me with a welcoming smile. Dr Gabrielle Williams is wonderful. I had a good cleaning today by Aliyah and Dr. Williams did the follow up for my dental implant. I mean, I'm so happy with this place; four of us siblings now come to her and I've just recommended her to a friend. Another great day at PIEDMONT DENTISTRY!

I was very nervous at the beginning, but everyone in the office today put my mind at ease. They were very knowledgeable, explaining my dental treatment plan. I look forward to working with the team.

Negative experience: This dentist wasn't a good fit for my family and me. While it was clear they were trying to be pleasant, it left me with an unnerving feeling rather than a positive one. Like some other reviewers, my husband and I also felt pressured into making immediate decisions and signing up for thousands of dollars worth of treatment on the spot. Don't get me wrong, the work was necessary — we've since seen another dentist who confirmed that. However, our new dentist didn’t pressure us or try to rush us into signing up for a credit card on the spot. They worked more closely with my insurance to reduce the costs and set up a plan to phase out the treatment safely, so we wouldn’t have to pay everything at once or risk delaying needed care. While this dentist did make an effort to be extra pleasant, it didn’t feel genuine — it came across as money-driven. And because of that, unfortunately, it just wasn’t the right fit for us. But I do appreciate their time.

Fantastic experience: I am glad I found Piedmont Denistry. I needed to see a dentist due to an issue. I love all the staff I have encountered so far. The process was seamless being my 1st time and everything explained. My 1st visit was 11/18/25 and my 2nd appt was 11/24. I look forward to my next visit.

Positive experience: This dental office is over charged, more than Delta dental standard insurance will cover. It didn't expain or give estimate before the appointment. even with cleaning. we have to pay $135 out of pocket. Update: This situation would be better or never happened if I was aware of the service is out of network before my daughter's appointment or procedures. I understand this insueance issue is frustrated for both the dentist and I. After reaching out to the billing department, I really appreciate the dentist called me back and took her time to explain to me and offered 10% discount on my bill. Thank you for understanding.

Negative experience: I feel like they wanted to get some money. I went in for a regular cleaning and didn't even get it. They did x-rays and I didn't even ask for them. I literally booked an appointment for a cleaning ony. I didn't get the cleaning because after trying to charge me over $700 bucks for something I didn't ask for rubbed me the wrong way. Also, they wanted me to come back later in the day to get the cleaning. I told her I have to work in a couple hours then she said we can get u in now. At this point im lost and just wanted to go because I been here over an hour and didn't get anything done i wanted. The lady showing me the screen of my Xrays asking me what do I see different like im a Dentist. She knew i knew nothing about what i was looking at on her screen so she talking about your gonna need the work before you lose these 2 teeth that are in the front on side. I have straight healthy teeth which ive been told by previous dentist. I was also being charged over $200 for a cleaning with insurance. The total bill before insurance was over 7k in dental work. The whole experience was terrible and I truly feel that this place will tell u things just to get paid. I wouldn't recommend.

Fantastic experience: My almost 2-year old had a wonderful experience today with her hygienist Aleyah and Dr. Williams. She was made to feel comfortable for a quick polish and fluoride application. It is very difficult to predict how kids will act at this age at their dental cleaning, so you all did a fantastic job. Negative experience: This dentist office tried to scam me out of over 2k. The dentist BLATANTLY lied to me telling me I had SIX cavities. When I have gone my entire 40 years with only acquiring ONE cavity in between my teeth during orthodontic treatment at age 38. Back story. My old dentist retired and it left me looking for a new dentist. During my time with my old dentist I had one cavity that I got in between my teeth while wearing braces due to improper flossing with the braces and having tight contacts. Literally my first EVER cavity at age 38. She filled it but when I got braces again the bracket that went around my tooth cracked it. She retired. I found piedmont because I needed a new dentist and I like a female dentist. I go for the exam she tells me I have SIX cavities one in between my tooth (the previous one) and FIVE on top of the tooth. Like huh?!? How do I go from never having cavities to SIX?!? And she also tells me I need a deep cleaning. Like huh?!? I really take good care of my teeth too need a deep cleaning AND have SIX cavities just did not sound right to me. I asked her which ones were like important to get filled now and she says the one that was cracked already. Huh? So what about the other 5 none of them are important? Just the one that is ACTUALLY a cavity or a cracked filling. Got it. That whole experience didn’t sit well with me. So I went to another dentist paid ANOTHER exam fee and low and behold I have ZERO cavities just staining, the same staining I’ve had since I was like 20 (I used to drink coffee) he did the stick test and nothing was sticking because they AREN’T cavities. All he had to do was fix the cracked filling I had. Oh I also DID NOT need a deep cleaning because my gums and teeth are in GOOD HEALTH!! Can you believe it?!? Because I can’t. She tried to get over $2,000 out of me. I’ve NEVER had to pay that much unless it’s for orthodontic treatment. And I’ve had braces 4 times for perspective on how much I CARE about my mouth! My teeth are literally perfect and she tried to tell me I had six cavities! Wild!! Yea no thanks.

Fantastic experience: Today was my first visit and it was a great experience. From the two ladies at the front desk, Seth, who was taking my X-Rays, the hygienist, Aaliyah, for being gentle and examining my teeth and gums and Dr.Williams for having a warm welcome and setting up a plan that will cater to my needs. Everyone was very informative and the overall experience was great!

I love the way the doctor brought us in her office first and got a feel of my daughter and what we were looking for in a dental office . Her staff was amazing her hygienist was very manageable and very knowledgeable of what she was doing. I am not a easy person to please but we left with all smiles . She is a very honest dentist. I changed from my daughter last dentist and she asked why but I did not tell her just to compare. She told me my daughter only had 3 cavites which i was not surprised coming out of braces and the quote with my insurance was a little over 700 which made me happy considering the last dentist said she had like 5/6 cavites and price was 3000 with same insurance. I also sent her the same xrays. Beware of scammers and it does not hurt for a second opinion. Im so glad i did and so glad i found Peidmont Dentistry my saving grace.

Fantastic experience: I was looking for a new dentist when I found Piedmont on Google. They were super responsive when I called to schedule my appointment, sent me multiple reminders and allowed me to do my paperwork beforehand. When I checked in, they took me in to meet the dentist. She explained the breakdown of the appointment, asked me about my dentistry needs, and took the time to make sure I was listened to. When I went back into the room, they explained everything they were doing and why they were doing. They were very courteous and made sure I understood every step of the process. Everyone there is so welcoming and the technical staff are good in what they do, especially May(she is good). Dr Williams was really nice and did a good job with my root canal.

Negative experience: Found this office totally by accident, but went in hoping for the best. After waiting about 15mins to be taken back, the hygienist made me basically answer all the questions, I had just completed on the form, because "she wanted" them in the computer right then. She then told me we would have to take a full panel of xrays, I agree, but told her they were usually not very comfortable for me and I didn't like taking them and she was like "ok". Over the course of her taking pictures with this very decades old method, I began to sigh loudly as by this time, she had put in and taken out the mouthpiece they use to take the xrays about FIFTEEN TIMES!! It was clear to me that she was either uncomfortable with me or inexperienced with the equipment. When I inquired as to how many more we would need to do, she states, "THIS ISN'T FUN FOR ME EITHER". Shocked, at this point, I just took on the chin and later found out, she took a total of TWENTY-THREE XRAYS!! The doctor was nice, came in, spoke and then told me I would have to come back on ON ANOTHER DAY to get my cleaning! I told her that was never explained to me and after decades of having my teeth clean, I could not recall ever not having the initial exam and cleaning not done the same day as I have NO issues with my teeth. After she left the hygienist smirked and asked when I would like to come back, I got up and told her I would not be. After over an HOUR in the office, and the total hour round trip travel, that was 2 hours of my work day gone. I think the biggest issue for me was the hygienist who had no problem comparing the pain I felt of her not knowing how to position the equipment in my mouth to her own "lack of fun". Needless to say I haven't been back, but for the hygienist, in case you're wondering, TRUST ME, your job may not be fun, but it's not painful! ...and if it's both, maybe you're in the wrong profession. Gave it 2 stars because the front desk was great!

Negative experience: I’ve gone here twice and avoid it at all cost. They will lie to you in person and then bill you extra. They put extra and hidden fees in quotes to do work and they will try to pressure you to get work done as soon as possible. “Everyone is out of network.” This place is the only dentist that’s really a scam (never seen anything like it before). Avoid them or you’ll regret it! Either extremely incompetent or legit committing insurance fraud. The first time I got a quote that was 5000 more than any other typical place. Another dentist office reviewed the quote and said Piedmont was double charging extra fees and charging things that didn’t make sense. They told me to pay 50, and then billed me another 100, saying it changed after insurance claim. One time I could understand but they did it again… The second time I went to make sure sinus pain wasn’t related to a cavity and before letting them even touch me I said I wanted to know the cost even if they needed to call the insurance company. They said it was all covered. I should have recorded the conversation. Two months later they text me saying I have a 100 balance. They did an xray on one tooth and only did an “exam” on one tooth, yet somehow that’s $150 after they told me it was all covered. I also got yelled at for not wanting to let them do any work. It was so unprofessional and then to get a bill after I told them about the first time and that I didn’t want to be told again it’s all covered then get hit with a bill. They didn’t care and did the same thing again. AVOID IF YOU DONT LIKE SUPRISE BILLS AND IF YOU GO SECRETLY AUDIO RECORD THEM, I promise you’ll have a similar experience.

She and her team focus on relationships and trust..and are committed to patients not only getting healthy but also understanding why she makes her recommendations. Even though she has a busy practice, she makes a point to give each patient the time they need. Never rushed. NEVER feeling like a number. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

Fantastic experience: Lauren and Dr. Williams are amazing! I have been coming here for 15 years now. Piedmont Dentistry University is a very clean and aesthetically pleasing office. The staff is invested in you and your overall health. I always leave with a shiny smile after Lauren does an in depth cleaning. She’s one of the best dental hygienist out there! Negative experience: If you want a reputable and caring dentist do not go here for your dental services. Dr. Williams is out of network with most dental insurance and she is all about getting people's money at any means necessary.

Fantastic experience: Dr. William's is Always so gentle, kind and an Excellent Dentist! I Love that she will only recommend work that is needed and is much more reasonably priced than a lot of Dentists. Lauren, her Dental Hygienist, is also Awesome, gentle, skilled and SO Thorough!!! Alisa, who runs the front desk, is so helpful and was great at helping me negotiate the insurance company. Honestly I used to hate going to the Dentist but now it is such a great experience, I just LOVE them and I am SO Thankful for Piedmont Dentistry for my dental care!!!

Negative experience: Only able to chew on one side now! Went in for a filling and came out with one side of my mouth shaved down and the other side normal. Also went in for 2 adjustments after that only made it worse. Just my experience! It's been 2 years or so and still not able to chew on both sides.
