Fantastic experience: Dr, Hughes replaced a crown. His assistant did a fantastic job. In all it was quick and easy.

Negative experience: Curly-haired front desk receptionist was not friendly at all after I brought up information that was given to me (verbally) at a prior appointment. When asked if my bill could be sent to my home as I left my debit card and only had cash at the time, I was told that it was no longer done. I was offered a finance plan which I can only access at the office with a debit card and, obviously that did not work. I was then told after standing at the desk for ten minutes that the bill would be sent to my home. She stated that I have in fact been coming to this office since 2005; thus, it would be okay for her to send the bill to my home. Moreover, the receptionist decided that it would be fitting to tell me to "have a better day and keep Jesus in your pocket" as she gave me a plastic Jesus figurine, not knowing my religious views or anything of the sort. I was taken aback as to why she said that or gave me anything. I will not be returning.

Fantastic experience: I loved this place. Ms.Michelle was my Dental Hygienist for my cleansing and she was amazing ! Very Informative , Patient and Sweet. My dentist came in and he was also very nice. He actually showed me my XRAYS and explained it to where I could visibly see his explanation & comprehend what he was explaining.. Today was my first time there and I will be back and encourage others. I loved these 2. They were amazing and my service did not take long as well. I was thoroughly cleansed then in and out!

Fantastic experience: 08/23/2025 Dr LeGrand again provided wonderful professional dental services. I had an immediate dental need and the office graciously found an appt time. They placed a beautiful temporary crown while permanent is made. I am so grateful for the excellent service. 06/26/2025 Dr LeGrand expertly completed a filling quickly and without any issues. He is kind, professional and carieful in his work. Staff is friendly, helpful and professional. If you need a great dentist, go to Montgomery Smiles. 11/13/2024: Visited Montgomery Smiles for a tooth filling appointment. Dr Hughes was on time, friendly and professional. Tooth was professionally and painlessly filled. What a pleasure to get in and out so speedily. Both Dr Hughes and staff were friendly and attentive. 11/12/2024: Dental cleaning was comprehensive and professional. Friendly staff and excellent dental exam by Dr Hughes. Going to this practice almost 20 years now. Whether I see Dr LeGrand or Dr Hughes, I have a great experience every time. 5/21/2025 Great dental cleaning. Very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Issues identified and plans made for future work. Dr LeGrand as always competent and professional and on top of everything. Office staff were friendly and helpful. Appointments made swiftly with no problems. What a pleasure to visit a friendly and professionl dental office. After 20 years this office gets better every year. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Today I got a chance to meet Dr. Hughes for the first time and he was very nice! Michelle has cleaned my teeth for many years. Dr. Legrand entire staff is great I always look forward to coming into the office.

Negative experience: They did not meet up to the standards as I expected. I left feeling as if I didn’t get all of my teeth pulled that I wasn’t worthy enough for their services. I thought that patients were priority no matter what they’re getting done. I feel if I’m using my insurance which is excellent I should get what I request. Not what you think I should get. Just because you’re a dentist doesn’t mean all of your decisions are the best for the patients. Patients have they right to choose what they rather have. Long story short I went in to another dentist same day got my tooth pulled and got a plan together and my partial will be ready in no time. Can’t hurt me I’m a child of God and I’m satisfied with the dentist I chose. Oh yeah pictures coming soonwhat you didn’t do someone else did and that’s why they will always be in business. Because their patients are their number one priority. I was very displeased and unsatisfied. You don’t have to worry about me ever again in life coming back and no I do not recommend anyone. No thanks.

I’ve had multiple treatments—fillings, crowns, bonding, and regular cleanings—and every experience has been top-notch. A special shout-out to VA rep Joeanne, who goes above and beyond to get veteran’s approval for treatment plans. Thank you, Joeanne, for always taking care of veterans. I’m usually on a tight time crunch since I’m often overseas, but the team always finds a way to take care of me, and I’m truly grateful for that. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I make a couple of visits a year to this dental establishment since I moved to Montgomery , Alabama, and I am very happy with them. Reception is pleasant with a comfortable waiting area and the hygienist is extraordinarily competent and congenial. The doctor is always easy to talk with and does not put on any "hard sell" for unnecessary work. Overall, I have nothing but HIGH MARKS for Montgomery Smiles!!!!

I broke my temporary bridge a week later, called the office the next morning and got an appointment for the same day (for 2 hours later), and my bridge was repaired. I walked out smiling.
