Fantastic experience: We needed to find a dental office close to home and after a few hours of research, decided to go with Surprise Dental & Denture. We are extremely pleased with this decision. The care we have received, with cleanings and dental services has been top notch! I needed a crown after receiving a root canal and was very impressed that it could be created and seated on my tooth, all in one visit! Due to negative dental experiences in my past, I am extremely nervous during dental procedures, but Dr J was friendly, and put me at ease. He makes you feel very comfortable. I am also very pleased with the front office staff. They are welcoming, kind and knowledgeable with insurance and billing, which is a plus! We are happy to have found Surprise Dental & Dental - our new dentists!

Negative experience: Had to cancel both of my appts today. The receptionist insisted that I had to divulge all of my medical information for a cleaning. When I refused, she commenced to lecture me on why I should be divulging, how this attitude is being used by other dentists and how can my doctor treat me when I don't tell him things. Clearly this was out of line. She had a hard time trying to understand why I wasn't going to upload a copy of my 7 yo daughters driver's license. So needless to say, I will be looking for another dentist that doesn't have to be so intrusive, just to give and my daughter a cleaning. Crazy you are asking for a review when I wasn't even there.

Fantastic experience: I have been pleased with the friendly and professional service I've received over the past few years at Surprise Dental & Denture. I didn't like the dental office covered by my insurance, so I switched to Surprise D & D. Even though I have to pay myself, I'm happy with the change and don't expect to go back to my prior dentist. I mostly have had cleanings and check ups, but I also had a crown replaced, which was painless.

Fantastic experience: I am a new patient to SD&D. When I arrived at their offices I was introduced to Megan, my hygienist, who gave me a a very nice tour of the office. She was super nice and an extremely gentle hygienist. Dr. Stephanie (the dentist) came in after my cleaning and introduced herself. She was great and very knowledgeable and professional. I know I am in great hands at my new dentist’s office!

I am terrified of getting dental work done even cleanings make me anxious & so when I found out I needed my first crown, I was beyond nervous and was suuuuuper scared. (Sorry Dr j) he was so understanding and compassionate about my fears. He recommended an oral sedative to help me relax, and it made such a difference. He explained everything beforehand, checked on me throughout the entire appointment, and made sure I was completely comfortable the whole time. The way Dr. J and his staff treat their patients is truly exceptional I really appreciated the way he took the time to sit down and explain the crown/oral sedation to me it truly meant a lot & went a long way. His team is gentle, patient, and genuinely kind, you never feel rushed or judged. The entire experience, which I had been dreading for the past couple weeks, ended up being so much easier and more positive than I ever imagined. My crown looks and feels great, and I left the office feeling calm and cared for (which is saying a lot for someone like me who usually panics at the dentist!). If you’re someone who struggles with dental anxiety or just wants a dentist who truly listens and cares, I cannot recommend them enough. He’s absolutely the best! Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Surprise Dental & Denture for about 5 years and I have always had a great experience. Megan does an amazing job with my bi-annual cleanings- she walks me through everything step by step, which really puts me at ease. Dr J and Dr Stephanie are both very friendly and make you feel comfortable right away. They have never pushed unnecessary procedures, which I really appreciate and I think it adds to their credibility. The whole team is professional, organized, nice, and trustworthy. It is hard to find a great dentist but I genuinely trust SDD and highly recommend their office! You will be in great hands and love them!

Negative experience: They put my crown on backwards and it caused severe TMJ. I was in the ER for the pain and missed an appt because of the ER visit. Just like that owner jason was like no more dental for you. How dare you miss your appt for being in the ER due to a bad crown job that the doctor caused. Now I have to report them to the dental board for dental malpractice and not fixing It for me.

Fantastic experience: I cannot thank Dr. J enough for his care and compassion. He is an amazing dentist and does excellent work. I was truly sad when I moved away and had to find a new dentist. My mother recently started having major dental issues and was in alot of pain. She had seen multiple dentists and none could offer an explanation for what she was experiencing. Dr. J was able to provide her with some answers and hope. While her issue is not something Dr. J could treat, he was able to provide her with a referral to a specialist who should be able to help. Love you Dr. J you are the best!

I looked like a clown. The office took me right in and got me out of there in 1-1/2 hrs with an exact matching temporary crown. I made it to work with a big smile on my face. Fantastic experience: I have met the place of all places who actually care about you to make you feel comfortable and like if you were family I was welcome and treated very well I don’t have dental insurance but they gave me three ways I can take care of my bill when I get the work done and I am doing the saving up money to get my work done by them and no other I have my girl friend and son who have dental insurance who I am sending to them so that they can get the same professional treatment given to me and with the insurance they have they can enjoy the professional work if needed on them and continue the rest of our dentals needs with our new found dentistry . Fantastic experience: Moved to Surprise a few years ago, Surprise Dental is the third dentist I have tried. I have finally found a dental office that I am extremely pleased with. Their office is clean and spotless. They use gthe most up to date equipment for any procedures. They seem to be a little more expensive but for the care and comfort they provide for their patients the extra cost is well worth it. At another dentist office I was quoted over $5000 dollars for a dental procedure, by going to a little more effort I received the same results at Surprise Dental for $2000 dollars Obviously they have me hooked as a long term patient.

Fantastic experience: Just moved to Surprise AZ and had a tooth flare up causing considerable pain. Saw a good review on this clinic on local NextDoor app and immediately called for an appointment. Was seen early in the day, DR J was amazing, injecting Novacaine expertly with zero pain. Then extracting the rogue tooth easily, and discussed future treatment plan. Rating this dentist and practice 20/10 - just found my dentist for future dental needs. No need to search any further. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I had a New Patient exam at Surprise Dental and Denture on 7/28. The staff was warm, friendly and extremely professional. I was very impressed with Dr. J, as they refer to him. I am so pleased he did not recommend that every restoration in my mouth be replaced. So many dentists do that on the initial appointment. I am a retired dental hygienist, so I am picky to say the least. After I have some work done, I will update my glowing review if necessary. I doubt it will be.

Fantastic experience: What a wonderful experience I had at SD and D this morning! This was my first visit. I was welcomed by name at the front desk. The atmosphere was upbeat and friendly right away. Then I met Megan, my hygienist who took me on a tour of their very impressive facility, equipped with the latest technology. As soon as I sat in the dental chair, she put me at ease. She was so genuine and caring and made me feel comfortable throughout the cleaning process, always making sure I was doing OK. Then I met Dr. J. He was so outgoing and friendly and I immediately knew I could trust him. I had been “stewing” about going to a new dentist for weeks, wondering how things would be. That was certainly unnecessary! This is a wonderful office! Everyone is happy and positive and genuinely concerned about their patients!

You are welcomed to a beautiful office when you arrive and offered water, coffee, tea or wine while you’ve wait. When they take you back, for the first time, they give you a tour of the office and a card and gift. Then you are treated with the newest equipment on the market. They are kind, gentle, personable and professional. You won’t go wrong by using this dental office as your own. I don’t usually love going to the dentist , but I won’t be late for these appointments.
