Fantastic experience: Dr. Monaco is a very skilled and kindhearted doctor. He is very quick at getting my child’s teeth examined and during any procedure acts swiftly and calmly.

Fantastic experience: This dentist practice was recommended to us through several avenues - personal recommendation and on a Facebook Moms group - and it definitely did lived up to the hype. The environment is warm and inviting with bright vibrant color schemes. The hygienists were super friendly, kind and engaging with my kids. They were informative and provided examples of what to do better to the kids. We were seen by Dr. Meg and she was wonderful! Thorough, efficient and friendly. I am so glad I made the switch to this practice!

Fantastic experience: Excellent service. Had to have a quick check-up for some nagging pain my 10-year-old was having and Dr. Noah and the staff made it easy and comfortable for him to understand what was going on with his tooth and what he needed to do for prevention. I also never care which dentist we get despite them asking for a preference. They're all awesome. Similar thing with my 5 year old when his tooth wouldn't come out, and they made room for him same day and helped us through the process so that he wasn't scared and understood how they would pull his tooth and what to do afterwards.

Cleanings and any needed follow up care is always pleasant and stress free. The entire office staff is so welcoming and kind, even the fish in the waiting area greet us! My 18 month old daughter just had her first visit as well and Dr. Noah was very patient. The wait is not usually long at all (i go early in the AM) and my son looks forward to getting his tokens for the toy machine after he's done haha

Fantastic experience: Dr. Jason is the best pediatric dentist we could ever hope for! And Mary, one of the hygienists, is incredible as well! They take the time to explain exactly what is happening and what is going to happen during each step of the appointment. Mary saw that my child was missing brushing by their gum line, so she got a mirror and a manual toothbrush and showed them exactly how to brush in those spots. She then had my child practice it in the mirror, so they could do it at home. This morning, my child confidently brushed their teeth and got all of the spots they missed before! We initially came to Dr. Jason for a second opinion on whether both of my children needed all 4 of their molars crowned. Not only did he save my children from the stress of an OR experience, but one child needed ZERO work done, and the other needed one small filling (which Dr. Jason did at a later appointment and made my child totally comfortable and the filling felt like no big deal to them!) We have had a dream experience here ❤️

Negative experience: Where to even begin? From the very first visit, this doctor showed an appalling lack of bedside manner. She spoke to my four-year-old daughter as if she were an adult woman and even told her she was “acting crazy.” At our most recent appointment, when my child innocently said, “I’m going to tell your mommy,” the doctor’s shocking response was, “Well, my mother is dead she’s in heaven .” What kind of professional thinks it’s appropriate to say that to a child? Instead of providing comfort, she repeatedly told my daughter to “be quiet” “ “ you are making this so difficult “ and claimed that my child was making her stressed. Let’s be clear, this is a PEDIATRIC dentist. Managing anxious, fearful children is part of the job. My daughter may not be the easiest patient, but at her regular dentist she behaves perfectly fine and the Doctor respects her BOUNDARIES. The difference is simple: proper bedside manner and compassion.My daughter left this office visibly shaken and afraid. No child should walk out of a pediatric dentist traumatized. And yet, instead of stopping treatment and referring us to a specialist , the responsible choice they continued, disregarding my child’s well being and escalating the situation. Not once did the doctor show compassion or take accountability which is not surprising as she has always had this attitude even years ago. To make matters worse, even after my child left the room, the doctor and assistants continued to speak negatively about her in front of me. How is that professional?This is especially alarming coming from an office that advertises itself as “dedicated to caring for kids in the best, gentle, kind, and fun environment.” That could not be further from the truth. Their behavior was harsh, dismissive, and damaging and the complete opposite of what pediatric care should be.If this is how they handle a routine visit with a four year old, I truly fear for how they treat other children. Parents deserve to know the reality before trusting this office. If you value your child’s emotional and mental well-being, I strongly urge you to reconsider bringing them here. ( oh also telling a child that their teeth were ugly before and that they should be thankful you made them “ pretty “ that’s pretty shitty )

He’s come a long way as when we first started a few years back it took time and persuasion to even get him to sit on the treatment table. He’s grown to trust the staff and procedure. They’ve been so kind, patient and fun! These are all key elements he needed and he is now right at home when we do our twice a year visit. Thank you Dr. Sperati and wonderful staff!!

Fantastic experience: Lovely place. All the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. They've really got the experience figured out - plenty of toys in all the waiting areas, a good system for how to work with kids who are nervous, and they even give your little one two gold coins at the end to use in some gumball machines (filled with toys and stickers) – as soon as we left my 3 year old daughter said "That was so much fun!"

Negative experience: Dr. Noah is wonderful and does a great job with kids. Unfortunately, the front office/reception staff leaves much to be desired. They are consistently rude, unhelpful, and lack compassion. I understand the 10-minute late policy, but being turned away at 8:00 a.m. with two children for arriving only 2 minutes after the 10 minute mark felt unnecessarily harsh. I would understand if it was busy, but I was not. A little kindness and understanding would go a long way, especially in a pediatric office where families are often juggling a lot. Sadly, the way the front office treats patients overshadows the excellent care Dr. Noah provides.

As a mom who also works in the dental field, I can confidently say their level of care was amazing. They went above & beyond to provide a comfortable dental appointment & they explained every single step they were doing to her (with words not to frighten a child) They took the absolute best care of my daughter from start to finish. I was patient at this practice over 20 years ago with Dr. Scott. I can not say enough great things about them. My daughter LOOKS FORWARD to coming to her appointments!

From the moment we walked in, you could tell they’d thought of everything—fun toys tucked in every corner, bright and cheerful decor, and the kindest staff. They made me feel totally at ease, even when I had a few “first-time mom” questions—they never made me feel silly, just answered everything with patience and real knowledge. By the end of the visit, my kids didn’t want to leave and have been asking ever since when we can go back! So grateful for Dr. Jason Sperati and his whole team—highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Today I visited the clinic with my son. I really liked the clinic’s interior — there’s a large aquarium in the lobby, as well as toys and books for children. The staff was very friendly and supportive. My son had to have two baby teeth extracted — it was his first dental treatment. But thanks to the attentive doctor and assistants, everything went wonderfully and without any tears.

Fantastic experience: Pediatric Dentistry has a very welcoming staff and they always have a positive attitude. They do a great job of explaining the process before and after a visit. My boys have a favorite dentist, Dr. Jason and he is obviously loved by many because it is hard to get an appointment with him. However, the entire staff is great. We have seen a few other dentists in the practice and they have never disappointed us.

Fantastic experience: We ADORE Dr Noah. He filled my 6 year old daughter’s first two cavities today and he was incredibly quick and kind to her. He and the hygienist were so sweet, patient, and understanding. She got to watch Disney+, hold my hand, and relax through the whole thing. I’ve had multiple cavities filled myself, and I’m jealous of the care my daughter received today!!! Highly recommend this practice and especially Dr. Noah!!!

Negative experience: I was very excited to get my autistic son scheduled at this office after hearing great things from his ABA agency, your office should definitely look into having someone a little bit more pleasant answer the phone! Donna was very rude this morning after I told her that my children had Medicaid, she abruptly ended our conversation as she said you all are no longer accepting patients with that insurance (which is fine)

Fantastic experience: Took my son for his consultation for his dental sugery thats set to be done at a hospital that i choose. After almost a year of other dentist just saying that we will have to pull all of his teeth or cap them. But this place is all about trying to save the childrens teeth if at all possible. The staff was really nice and friendly l, in the dental assistant was really good with my son which has down syndrome. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good dentist.

Fantastic experience: We had our last visit with Dr Scott today. My son grew up too soon and is ready to move to the adult dentist now. Dr Scott took very good care of us these past 15 years. Getting an autistic child to sit patiently is not easy and those first years were challenging but Dr Scott was wonderful and it got easier as the years went on. Thank you again.

Fantastic experience: My daughter has leukemia and her teeth care has been challenging to say the least. We love the treatment and overall quality of medical care she’s received at this dental office. They’ve been able to also quickly get her into the office to address tooth pain and she also had surgery to fix many of her teeth and they made sure it all went smoothly. The admins in the office have been so good about communication with myself and our daughter’s oncology team, especially Kayla. Our goal is to try to make it through the end of treatment with as little damage to her adult teeth as possible and keeping the baby teeth she needs for a few more years and I believe this dental office has helped immensely.

Fantastic experience: We drive an hour and a half to see Dr. Jeff at Matthews Pediatric dentistry. My boys are afraid of the Dentist and the entire staff is always so very kind to my boys and we appreciate the excellent service we receive at every visit.

Fantastic experience: We had a consultation and procedure with Dr. Noah for my daughter’s frenectomy (lip tie release). As a first time mom I was terrified, unsure, and stressed. Dr. Noah and the whole team at Pediatric Dentistry of Matthews went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, understood the procedure and process and made it as easy as possible. They educated us on the procedure, recommendation, and after care but did not pressure us in any way. All of my stress and worry was not needed as the procedure was very fast and our daughter (15 months) was fine and playing with toys in the waiting room again within about 5 mins. Yes, there were tears, but mainly mine! As mom, I had a harder time than she did! Their team was very helpful in making a difficult appointment much easier for all of us. Many of our patients are non-verbal and have intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. After multiple attempts to provide routine care for one of our residents in our clinic, we were mostly unsuccessful. I called Dr. Sperati and he agreed to treat our patient in the hospital under general anesthesia. Kayla was fantastic quickly pivoting from Valleygate outpatient, who couldn't accommodate our patient, to University Atrium Health. Dr. Sperati provided outstanding, much needed dental care. One week post-op our patient is doing great! I am so grateful to Dr. Sperati for taking time out of his very busy schedule to provide excellent, comprehensive care to our patient and to help out a fellow dentist. He dentistry is outstanding and he is an even better person; kind and compassionate. Thank you again!!

Fantastic experience: This is the best Pediatric Dentistry group in Charlotte. They treated all four of my children from childhood through 18, 20 years total! My children absolutely love the doctors and assistants. Everyone is kind, friendly and professional. My children were never afraid of the dentist and have grown up to take excellent care of their teeth. I highly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: Mary and Dr Jason were amazing with my son. He has anxiety and was very nervous about getting the X-rays and Mary took the time to talk him thru it, practice with other things before going to do them, and stayed in the room with him to help him. She walked him through every step and then made a big deal when he did it and he left feeling so proud of himself. My son loves going to the dentist and counts down to going to see Dr Jason. So amazing for all kids, but especially those with some hesitation or anxiety.

Fantastic experience: I have an almost-two year old daughter with special needs, and Pediatric Dentistry of Matthews was incredible. They have specific times available when the office is less busy to keep stimulation to a minimum. They also have dedicated quiet rooms that are outfitted to keep the kiddos as calm as possible. Everyone in the office was so kind and patient, really taking the time to ease us in to the exam, and then taking plenty of time to answer all of my questions. After seeing how well our daughter responded, this was a huge relief for us. We'll be back in six months!

Fantastic experience: The team here is the greatest!! Children with extra sensory issues who may need a quiet-room get wonderful care just like the typically developing ones who can be cared for in a shared room. My child had dental care under anesthesia today and everyone at the Dentist office as well as the Atrium facility where the procedure took place were absolutely amazing! They also stated they do care for some children with special healthcare needs into adulthood!

Fantastic experience: Dr Noah, his colleagues and all the hygienist at Pediatric Dentistry are so nice and always make my kids feel so at ease. My son actually told the hygienist he loved coming there!

Fantastic experience: My kids enjoyed their visit with Dr. Noah today. My son said Dr. Noah is funny and kind and both dental assistants were great to my kids. My daughter said her technician was the best dentist ever! Both were cavity free (thank goodness) I love this dental office, we have been having smooth visits with Dr. Meg and Dr. Noah since my kids were small (they are now 6 and 10) As a Mom I really can’t ask for anything more!
