Fantastic experience: The people here are top notch. Excellent two dentists. Staff that cares. Always cutting edge technology equipment. Some people hate going to the dentist, I always feel like it is a good investment when I go to Allure.

Negative experience: Nice staff, but careless dental work. Was rushed and not done good at all. It’s sad when your 7 year old tells you it doesn’t look good. And instead of attempting to see what could be done to fix the issue, Dr. Murray just left out of the room after I voiced my opinion, which is very unprofessional. Unfortunately, I will have to look for another dentist to complete my future work, and hopefully someone who can fix his mess-up, so I don’t have to walk around with lost confidence.

Fantastic experience: I had a tooth that was giving me discomfort, so I called Allure Dental leaving a message as it was after office hours. The next morning, I received a call for an appointment with Dr. Murray at 10 AM. that day. Dr. Murray handled the situation very professionally. I now have my smile back.

Negative experience: The first question I asked prior to making an appointment with this business was if they accepted my insurance. I was told they do. Upon showing up for this appointment, I was told in person that while they do “accept” my insurance, it is out of network and may not cover the appointment completely. Would have been lovely to know this before I made the appointment. I do not tolerate incompetence. Edit: Notice the response trying to shift the blame to me here. Insuating that I should have verified with my insurance myself, when they know which providers they are contracted with. This company had digital photos of my Insurance card provided a week in advance, and KNEW at the time I scheduled that my insurance was out of network and still did not inform me. When a customer asks if you accept their insurance, the implication is obvious to anyone that the customer wants to utilise their benefeits fully. I was able to immediately schedule an appointment with a different Dental Office, who informed me immediately at the time of scheduling that my Insurance is accepted AND IN NETWORK, as is standard practice.

Negative experience: I'm not writing this review to express anger or ill-will to the people of Allure Dental. This is to warn prospective patients that might come to Allure for their dental needs. Understand this: Allure Dental is not a dentistry, they are Invisalign sales people. Whether you need it or not, they will sell you Invisalign. They brag about it in their office, proudly displaying their thousands of sales to all who come in. My girlfriend went in for her first cleaning and was pushed relentlessly to get Invisalign. She was provided no consultation and was charged $4,700 before even receiving the treatment. Only once the brackets were glued on to her teeth and the trays were pressed did they take the time to explain how the treatment worked. The sharp brackets tore through her cheeks and made eating a nightmare. Never in any of the pictures or descriptions were these brackets mentioned or shown. Never before this dentistry did any dentist recommend teeth correction to her. After explaining this to Allure, they removed the brackets and provided a $3,000 "refund" for a treatment provided to a patient who was without informed consent. She is $1,700 in debt. Please only use this dentistry if you have already researched Invisalign and know that you do not want to have braces. Invisalign is not covered by insurance. You will pay out of pocket. Consider other options if you are only in need of a yearly cleaning or other dental needs.

Fantastic experience: We have been patients of Allure Dental for many years. We have always had great experiences. The staff is exceptional and has wonderful customer service. They always seem to accommodate our girls for cleanings while home from college, to make sure they get into the office… which is very appreciated. Dr. Mazur is very attentive. I had a crown done in December. I went in for a cleaning in May, he said he didn’t like the way it was sitting, so he immediately scheduled me to re do the crown at no cost. Fantastic experience: I called due to a dental emergency and with trepidation due to past trauma with dentists. However the staff was fantastic and doctor amazing. I don't have insurance and they talked about the prices for each thing before it was done and I didn't feel pressured to "make" any of the purchases (not sure how to word in dental). I felt like I had control of my care and I didn't leave confused about the next step of treatment. They took my allergies seriously and everything was talked through and I didn't feel like a pain for being over protective of myself and treatment. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Murray's office and staff is fantastic from the receptionist to the hygienist to the check out process, all were courteous, friendly and professional. The business use State of the Art technology, for example, no more molds for tooth guards or crowns, use AI to detect areas of concern in Xrays. Most importantly, my hygienist, Avery was absolutely wonderful, she took great care during her work to assure I was comfortable and was personally engaging. The quality of her work cleaning my teeth is superior to any I've experienced in my 72 years!

Positive experience: As a first-time patient at Allure Dental Care, I was completely blown away by the quality of care! From the moment I walked into their gorgeous office, I knew this wasn't going to be an ordinary dental visit. Dr. Mazer is exceptional - so nice, friendly, and genuinely caring, which immediately put me at ease. Avery provided a thorough and comfortable cleaning, while Allison was incredibly patient and lovely throughout my appointment. What really stood out was when Jenny kindly held my hand when I felt nervous about the syringe - that small gesture made such a difference! And Morgan at the front desk goes above and beyond to make every patient feel welcome and comfortable. The only hiccup in my experience was some confusion regarding insurance coverage. I was told I was in-network, but ended up paying around $400 out-of-pocket for my first exam, cleaning, and one filling. I would recommend clarifying costs upfront if you're concerned about billing as this definitely came as a shock to me… That said, this was still the best dental experience I've ever had in terms of care and comfort. I've found my new dental home and will definitely be returning to Allure, but will make sure I understand the cost beforehand!​​​​​​​​​​​

The Dr. gave me several options for my treatment and really made me feel like my treatment plan was in my control. He was personable and comforting. I have had a lot of bad dental experiences in the past and this entire experience made me feel very confident in this office and their practice.

Negative experience: *Edited to add this was a few years ago* Called and asked if they take my insurance, they stated "we're one of the few in Lafayette who do!". Got a routine cleaning and exam which my insurance covers 100% and was charged at the end of the visit. Also, left crying because they found every tiny imperfection for all my teeth and said it'd be about $6000 to fix them all. Mind you I only went in for a cleaning. Seemed very flashy and just over kill. Never went back.

Fantastic experience: I had a problem with my tooth in which I broke off the tooth with the crown. Allure found a way to work me in and solve a problem that was rather complicated, so that I could go on vacation with a front tooth. The staff is quite kind. Dr. Trevor is talented and accommodating.

Fantastic experience: Allure is amazing! The team is so kind and friendly. They recognize you and know your name. They were able to see me after another local dentist kept canceling my appointment for jaw pain, pushing me out months. Allure quickly diagnosed and explained the issue. I went in fearing surgery and was thrilled something as minimally invasive as invisalign would correct my bite and alleviate my jaw pain. The service I recieved throughout that process was the highest quality and am happy to report my bite is corrected and I'm pain free. I now see them for routine care. It's so great to see the same hygienist and doctor every time. Averi and Dr. Mazur truly care about you as a patient and person!

Fantastic experience: I had to come in due to a dental emergency, that I went to an Urgent Care for. I went the Urgent care on Friday, called Allure on Monday and had an appointment on Wednesday! They were kind and gentle on my exam as I had limited ability to open my mouth. They gave me all my options with no pressure on which to choose. I am so happy I chose Allure!

Negative experience: I was happy with the service and cleanings but as many other people stated I felt like I was scammed out of my money. They did a procedure that I discussed previously along with pricing so I could be prepared. I am still paying on the credit card I had to take out to pay for the procedure. After the root canal I was told the price increased almost $1000 more than what I was quoted. So I did not have the extra money. And have made payments on the card but still owe quite a bit due to interest and still owe Allure around $400 I was told I would have to pay that balance before my children could be seen to get their teeth cleaned even though they have insurance and it is free. I just can’t believe they turned down children for a free cleaning because I still owed them money that I was not even prepared for. Too bad everything has become about the money and not about the patients.

Fantastic experience: My youngest daughter went to see Dr. Murray as a 2nd opinion and had a great experience. He spent the time to explain everything and let her dad go back with her and explain to him as well. Great experience as we are changing dentist after seeing the same dentist all of her adolescent years. Ty.

Negative experience: I came here to get a tooth pulled and to check for cavities. After my x-ray they made it sound like I had swiss cheese for teeth. I got one side of my mouth filled but had to move back to Utah before my appointment for the other side. When I visited my new Dentist here they got my x-rays from Allure and took some extras and to my suprise told me I only had a couple small cavities on my unfinished side. I'm very upset because I know now that I most likely ended up paying for work I didn't need at Allure. I'm so disappointed that people could be so concerned about making money that they'd do it at the detriment of their patients.

Fantastic experience: This place is nice and clean. Feels of next generation. The staff is so friendly and makes you feel comfortable like you all knew each other outside of dental hygiene. When i step into any kind of place for care i look around for cleanliness and 1 out of ten they score a 15! I pay attention to how each persons tone and gesture changes when talking and working with me. And if i’m asked if i have any concerns or questions I expect to be listened to and treated appropriately and given an answer and not an half answer! Allure Dental made me feel special! I was asked what made me call them and they took it from there!! I didn’t have to ask a question. Fantastic experience: I always have a quick and easy time with Allure Dental. The staff and doctors are amazing and they do everything they can to ensure that they have as many answers as possible for the patient. I have gone to them since high school and I’m now in my early thirties. Dr. Murray is as professional as they come. The same goes for all of the staff. From the folks working at the front desk to the skilled dental hygienists in the back, everyone is great!
