Fantastic experience: My first time at this office, the staff were very welcoming. The dentist was very comforting and thorough. Happy to call this my dental group, thank you! I had to add an edit to this review...since my first visit, my husband had to see Dr. Ahmed for an emergency situation, which at first we thought was a tooth problem. The doctor knew exactly what we were dealing with, which indeed was not a tooth problem. Where other dentists may have started to pull out teeth, he promptly sent us to an oral surgeon for a second opinion. The oral surgeon then agreed with Dr. Ahmed's diagnosis. From there we had a trip to the ER where doctors confirmed what Dr. Ahmed had originally thought, the diagnosis was Trigeminal Neuralgia. It is a chronic condition that my husband will likely deal with the rest of his life. It causes a tremendous deal of pain regarding a nerve in the face. It is as terrible as it sounds but he is responding well to medication. I wanted to convey the seriousness of this condition and give a HUGE THANK YOU Dr. Ahmed. Had it been someone else, they may have had teeth pulled and he would still be in debilitating pain, not knowing the source. HUGE GOLD STAR Even my husband's neurosurgeon praised him. This guy really knows his stuff!

Negative experience: I’m honestly shocked by how many positive reviews this place has. I’ve been trying to schedule a dentist appointment with them since June. I finally managed to get one for September, but when I called to confirm, I was told that my appointment didn’t even exist in their system. Since June, I’ve been trying just to get through to them on the phone. In September, they canceled my appointment due to a water leak in Hoboken — fine, things happen — but they didn’t do anything to help me reschedule sooner or accommodate me in any way. I had to wait again, this time until October, to finally get a new appointment. Before the appointment, I kept receiving multiple text reminders confirming my visit. Then, suddenly on the same day of my appointment, I got a message saying that if I didn’t send my insurance information by 4 PM, I’d have to pay $150 out of pocket. I called right away — I was literally driving home from work — and the receptionist told me the same thing, that if I didn’t send the insurance before 4 PM, I’d be charged. I honestly thought it was a joke. They should have called or emailed me days earlier to confirm they had my insurance on file, not a few hours before the appointment when most people are at work or commuting. When I called, the receptionist was polite but clearly didn’t understand my frustration or try to resolve the issue. I could tell she just wanted to get rid of the problem. When I finally asked about canceling the appointment, she smiled and said, “Sure, I can cancel it for you — but you’ll have to pay the fee.” With a smile on her face! That was the moment I realized how absurd the situation was. Instead of helping me fix the problem, she just told me I could pay a fee to cancel. I honestly don’t even know if that’s legal. I’ve wasted months of my time, and I’m still walking around with pain from my wisdom tooth that needs to be removed. Absolutely unacceptable. I will not let this go. As a paralegal, I fully intend to report this to the Department of Health because patients should not be treated this way. I’ve lived in Hoboken for five years, and I’ve never experienced such unprofessional behavior at a dental office.

Fantastic experience: Clean and Hygienic facility. Good Location easy to find. Staff and Doctor are really good and clear spoken, not hesitant to share any details. I went here for consultation and I had good and timely service with clear information about procedures required, insurance and estimated charges. All my doubt were clearly answered. Hope to continue services with them and expect to have great experience. Its the top floor facility, view is really soothing and waiting area has good coffee, water and snacks for visitors. They take my insurance and when I needed some emergency work done that wasn’t covered they charged me a very fair price. The dentists I’ve interacted with have a great bedside manner, very nice and friendly group.

Positive experience: Editing this review to share that the Office Manager Joanne stepped in and was really helpful in resolving the issue. Previous review: I had positive experiences as a patient here until recently. Despite providing my new updated insurance before my appointment, they billed my old insurance (terminated policy). I've since received collections threats, and the office has not been helpful in resolving their mistake.

Very convenient location right by the path station so if you are in pain it’s literally 2 steps away and such beautiful location of NYC! I got my 2 wisdom teeth extracted last Friday from Dr. Tausiq and he is such a kind soul! Good energy and I went through it very smoothly, I was aware of what’s coming next and very clear post surgery Instruction. The staff were super sweet. God sent me an angel it was that feeling! I know I might sound extra but no jokes! I can’t thank them enough!

Fantastic experience: I am so happy to have come here. I had awful grinding of my teeth that I was chewing through my night guard. Dr.Arora suggested I do Botox on my mandible along with temple. I came back 2 weeks later. I notice improvement in my jaw muscles. I have less tension in the jaw muscle and less headaches due my face being more relaxed. I definitely recommend the Botox to reduce jaw pain and tension. Love Dr. Arora!

Fantastic experience: I have a horrible fear of dentists. It all disappeared as soon as I walked into the advanced dental office in Hoboken. Everything was upbeat, new, fresh and friendly. A lot of great energy and the newest of instruments. The view is spectacular which is super calming. And everything is white— not that ugly dentist pink/beige that clearly says—- be prepared for torture. Their waiting area is terrific w complimentary drinks and snacks. I’m a convert!

Negative experience: I had a bad experience with Dr. Chen. He didn't propose any treatment plan after my checkup visit (I wasn't told to do anything, not even a filling). Then, 6 months later during my next checkup with another dentist, an enormous deep cavity was discovered (in 2 teeth). Now I have to have a root canal as it's too late to save one of the teeth, despite my regular 6-month checkups. I'm very doubtful that Dr. Chen made a good evaluation, or maybe they have inadequate technology. How often can someone go from "no treatment needed" to "deep cavity with root canals required" in 6 months? I would suggest double-checking with another dentist if you've been told that everything looks great at Advanced Dental Group.

Fantastic experience: It took me two years in the area to find a dentist I felt comfortable with and who wasn’t trying to rip me off. And this office is _it_! I’m really, _really_ afraid of the dentist since a terrible experience I had decades ago. And to add insult to injury, the dentist I saw in Jersey City before finding my way to this office tried to rip me off by proposing some outrageous treatment plan and then refusing to hand over my X-rays (yes, illegal) when I said I was going to get a second opinion. The second opinion came from this office last year, and I’ve been with them ever since and super satisfied! Since I wasn’t able to provide anything but printouts of my X-rays (no joke) and my insurance covers only one, they did a complimentary one, which resulted in an actually reasonable treatment plan, which then got implemented super skillfully. Dr. Arora is great at what she does and has an excellent beside manner. The latter makes a huge difference to me, considering that I’m super anxious whenever it’s time to go to the dentist. So if this is you, this is the place for you! Bonus points for literally everyone who works at this office being amazing, from the front desk staff to the assistants and the hygienists!

The dentist was very sweet and knowledgeable, did not rush in and out. My visit was great from the time I got there to the time I left. Definitely would recommend.

Fantastic experience: I had amazing teeth cleaning and filling experience at Advanced Dental Group! First I love the environment, facing the water which calms you down before the teeth work. Secondly the people are so nice! They really care about how you feel during the process. My hygienist noticed I'm in a bit pain so she immediately stopped and let me wait more for the anesthetic to kick in. And Dr. Capazzi is such a gentle dentist! Knowledge and caring.

Fantastic experience: Finally ... a dental office - such a pleasure to go to. As I walk in, Joanne, expectantly know my name and checks me in. She then directs me to a posh waiting room with priceless view of the NYC skyline. Still enjoying the views, the hygienist calls for me and makes me comfortable on a spa like modern dental chair. Not a minute in, Dr. Capazzi introduces himself, put gloves on and discusses what he was doing step-by-step. Can't explain it but he must have the lightest, most gentle hands. Could say that after seeing so many dentists from having braces to my third root canal. Advance Dental Group of Hoboken certainly knows what they're doing! Great job and keep it up!!!

Fantastic experience: First visit, I went in for a routine check up and cleaning and left with a big smiling. Dr Vincent Capazzi was professional with a friendly (lack of a better term) bedside manner and explained my dental care. Dental Hygienist Julia was quick, thorough, yet conscious of sensitive areas. She was amazing. From the high tech scanner (something out of the Matrix movies) to the welcoming and helpful reception to that insane view, you’ll have a great experience and leaving smiling. Ps I was the Guinea pig, my son and wife have new appointments to follow.

Fantastic experience: The entire staff was friendly and made me feel comfortable. My dental cleaning was efficient and relatively painless. The hygienist was thorough and the overall atmosphere was calm. I would highly recommend them to anyone
