Luciano is great with all my cleanings and we always have great convos! Kenny is so personable at the desk, I don’t even have to say my name, he knows who I am and checks my in flawlessly! I have to drive at lease 40 minutes from my home to get here, and I will do it without hesitation! So glad CitiDental has been here with me on my dental improvement journey! Fantastic experience: I’ve been a patient of Dr. Hoang for years, she has such an amazing attention to detail and walks through every step and option thoroughly. My mother broke her crown on Christmas and Kenny was able to get a same day appointment for her when I called! Kenny’s warm smile and sense of humor brightens everyone’s day which is so needed when going to the dentist can stress people out. I’d recommend Dr. Hoang and Citi Dental to anyone who wants to upgrade their care. I still go to Dr.Hoang even after moving an hour away.

Fantastic experience: Omi and Dr. Shea are incredibly kind and skilled. Every single staff member was welcoming, calm, and patient, which gave me peace during my surgery. I was quite scared of the surgery, but the staff held my shoulder during the procedure, which was so comforting ♥️ I am recovering well, and it's clear that the staff are perfect at their work. Omi is also the sweetest angel, and she always greets me with kindness. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience.

I am so grateful and relieved that they were able to fit me in just 10 minutes after I arrived in town on my bus. Kenny even came down to help me to find the entrance. Couldn't be more amazing! Whether you need excellent care in a pinch or looking for a dedicated longterm office full of patient and knowledgeable folks, Citidental is the place. Negative experience: I came to this dental clinic only for a simple teeth cleaning, but the experience was terrible from the start. They insisted I had to get X-rays first, even though it had nothing to do with the cleaning I requested. They told me the doctor would not even see me without them. The X-ray machine looked like something from the Middle Ages — extremely outdated and painful to use. They forced me through 22 X-rays with this old device, which left me in pain. On top of that, the whole place smelled dirty and unhygienic. I told them several times I only wanted a cleaning and that the X-rays were hurting me, but they refused to listen. In the end, they wasted an hour and a half of my time, caused me pain, and charged me money, all without giving me the treatment I came for. I walked out frustrated and untreated. This was my last visit to this terrible clinic. Also, beware of the staff member named Diana — she was the one who handled my X-rays and was extremely unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: Have been coming here for two years and always encountered only professional service. Great dental cleaning today by De'Anna.

Negative experience: I went here for the 1st time for a simple cleaning that would be covered by my insurance. After examining my mouth for about 5 minutes I was told that I would need a "deep cleaning" that would require two appointments and that I needed a root canal. I was told that they would not complete a simple cleaning that day and they estimated the cost of over $2,000 out of pocket for all the dental work. Thankfully my instincts told me that this didn't seem right so I decided to not proceed with phase 1 of the "deep cleaning" that day and that I would get a 2nd opinion. The 2nd dentist I saw told me that I most certainly did not require a root canal at this time and the proceeded with a normal cleaning and ensured everything was fine. Getting a 2nd opinion saved me over $2,000. I'd highly advise staying away from this place they are just looking to add on unnecessary dental work to upcharge you.

Fantastic experience: 6/27/25 update- De ‘Anna is a great hygienist to work with. I have sensitivity on a couple of teeth and she was mindful of that during my cleaning, which made me feel more comfortable and attended to. I initially chose to go to CITIDental for a preventative cleaning because of their positive reviews. I was surprised that my first visit would take 2 hours, but came to find out that the office meticulously documents using x-rays, photos of each tooth, and measures gums prior to the cleaning. I was contacted by the office via email to fill out forms before my visit, which was great. I was brought into the room for my cleaning almost immediately after I arrived. The office is clean, organized, and has up to date equipment. My cleaning was done by Trish and Dr. Hoang met with me afterwards. I had a couple of sore spots and Trish checked in with me and asked if I required any numbing, to let her know. Both women were very professional, answered all of my questions, provided feedback that I understood with appropriate interventions, friendly, and had great sense of humor as well. I will be returning to the office to do a few fillings in the next month and had my billing reviewed with me before I left. So happy I found a great dentist and office in Boston! I highly recommend them to others!
