Fantastic experience: Dr. Noor is fantastic. He explains everything that needs to be done. He and his doctors and dental specialists have been with me every step of the way through the many procedures that I needed. His team is invaluable. Astrid’s encouragement and helping me with my improvements enabled me to be able to continue this dental health journey. I had decades of not smiling in photos before I came to Smile Cafe. Their team helped me achieve something that I had given up on being able to have. I was told by previous dentists that some of the work I needed could not be done. That I could not be helped. Smile Cafe proved that the intricate surgery and dental restoration that I needed could be done. Smile Cafe has state of the art technology and patient, kind, and understanding people like Astrid and Ron, just to name a few. I cannot thank everyone enough.

Fantastic experience: Post covid dental tech - completely hi tech and interactive consults and discussions. Best dentist in NYC clinic since so many specialties in 1 office. First time here and an amazing experience. Came for a new consult and left witg mjltipled sealed/capped teeth, a full long term treatment plan all around (3d and lidar scanning plus individual tooth pics and angles for a full suite of images and before/after certain work. Even more surprising they ofb4 other dentist/ surgeons never mentioned my implant was covered and I put it off for 3 yrs abd they told me its full covered by ins and they started the prep work after the other work. Anywhere else would be 5 or 6 individual visits ans were extremely kind, helpful, and supportive. Plus easy scheduling online and digital forms in advance or in office was a change from 2000 to 2025 tech and will continue going back for their expertise and dental hygiene. Sont miss out nyc; amazing clinic ans im not in pain the day after the first implant step and am shocked no pain 13 hrs later at all and not much cold compress at all. A++++ I cant remember the exact name of the treatment coordinator but she too was amazing. Ardoit? Or similar named I think but all staff levels were friendly and approachable.

Astrid did an amazing job in helping me secure a same-day appointment after my X-ray was completed, even though I had a very tight schedule. Dr. Noor also did an incredible job in taking care of the two cavities that I had. He also took the time to explain in great depth and detail of what else was happening to my teeth and advice of things that I should be more considerate of in the future, which helped me feel a lot more well-informed. The dental hygienist was very gentle, attentive, and clearly knew what she was doing — the cleaning was comfortable and thorough. Dr. Daniel Noor was exceptionally kind and professional. He took the time to clearly show and explain the condition of my teeth, why certain issues developed, and how to prevent them from getting worse in the future. I was genuinely impressed, as none of my previous dentists had ever explained things so clearly and thoroughly. Another great bonus is that they offer very good student discounts. Overall, I’m extremely happy with my experience and would highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for professional, caring dental care.

Negative experience: I came to this dental office with clear tooth and gum pain, expecting emergency care. Instead, the experience felt disorganized and unprofessional from start to finish. After verifying my insurance and taking X-rays, I was repeatedly moved around with no explanation and no effort to address my pain. The dentist asked me personal questions that were completely unrelated to my dental issue, while failing to explain any diagnosis or treatment plan. The front desk staff’s behavior raised immediate red flags, and my initial concern that this office was not focused on patient care turned out to be accurate. I left without treatment, without answers, and feeling that my time and concerns were not respected. This office appears more interested in process than in actually helping patients. I do not recommend this place, especially for anyone seeking urgent dental care.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Noor is the best!!! I have trusted him with cosmetic work for my FRONT TEETH for years now. His work is that good, that I feel confident trusting him. I think the photos speak for themselves. I highly recommend him for any cosmetic bonding or composites, fixes, and cosmetic work. He has a very good eye and style, and my teeth always look natural after going to him. He replaced and fixed the bonding on one of my front teeth in 2021, and I was lucky enough to get an appointment to go back to him to have it re-done this year (nearly 5 years later). The results (in the photos from right after treatment) speak for themselves and are amazing as usual. He was able to make my teeth match, for the bonded tooth to look natural, ensure the color and shape fit, and gave me a much a healthier alternative to a veneer. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Dr. Noor and all the great staff at Smile Cafe!!!!

Fantastic experience: I had the best experience at Smile Cafe Dental Spa. All of the staff were incredibly friendly, and I truly felt cared for from the moment I stepped inside. The dentist took extensive X-rays and even showed me a 3D diagram of my teeth, which helped me understand everything clearly. I was then taken to another office where a different dentist used AI technology to show me all of the problem areas — it was so thorough and informative. I want to give a special shout-out to Dr. Young for doing my root canals. He constantly checked on me to make sure I was comfortable and not in any pain throughout the entire process. And a huge thank-you to Astrid, who helped me find the best payment options for my treatment. You can tell she truly cares about her patients and their experience. She’s so warm and welcoming that it genuinely feels like you’re with family. I highly recommend Smile Cafe Dental Spa — they go above and beyond for their patients.

The whole team helped work with my financial situation, answers my questions thoroughly, and answers texts when I have questions. I’ve worked with a lot of orthodontists and this is easily the best I’ve found!

Negative experience: The waiting time before my cleaning was almost 1 hour. I really didn’t like the doctor. I’m sorry to say it but it was the worst cleaning I ever had.

There was a little mix-up on my end with the insurance, but the receptionist Nori got everything sorted out quickly and made sure I was able to see the doctor. The doctors here are amazing, and Dr. Noor is the best! He takes the time to explain every step and what’s needed—never tries to push anything unnecessary, which I really appreciate. I got a cleaning today and will be coming back for a deep cleaning at the same office. Loved the service!

Negative experience: Lack of professionalism, poor hygiene, and the patient tables are broken and fixed with tape. In addition to the poor technology and machines necessary for a correct diagnosis. I was at this clinic to have two silver fillings replaced with white ones, and they convinced me to put in porcelain ones ($2,000 each). I made the appointment, and they placed the two porcelain ones on their own. I returned a couple of times in the following weeks because I was noticing discomfort and my bite wasn't right. They filed the filling down. I wasn't very happy because I felt like something wasn't working right. A few months later, my tooth broke on one side. I had to have it fixed by another dentist and get a crown ($2,600). I had spent $2,000 on a porcelain filling that was useless. Since they only took x-rays, but didn't scan me with a magnifying camera, they couldn't see the condition of the tooth before removing the silver filling. The tooth had some cracks, and I needed a crown from the start instead of a felling. They took my money. Ingrid, the lady who convinced me to spend $2,000 for each filling, was very kind at first, but later, she wasn't so nice. Be careful and look for experienced dentists. It's not worth messing with recent graduates or young, inexperienced dentists. Changing two fillings cost me almost $8,000. I'm considering suing because it's not fair.

Positive experience: A very good experience w Smile Cafe via Groupon. Staff was welcoming and informative. Asian hygenist did an exceptional job carefully and thoroughly cleaning my teeth. Clear teamwork by staff and technicians. Dr. Noor gave good dental aftercare advice ; no pressure selling. Some noteworthy annoyance w remote multi page paperwork registration and unconventional processes; oral metal hooks/ wide oral mirror usage and mandatory x ray request. Overall an ok dental visit to an establishment w a young vibe clientele for this Astoria, Queens native.

We were then seen by a lovely assistant then a kind and amiable hygienist who did a very thorough cleaning. Dr Noor was like visiting with a kind family member. He does a great job at explaining one’s current situation and if necessary offers recommendations for improvements. The experience overall was very positive. Fantastic experience: Doctor Noor and his staff are incredible! My journey started with them back in 2009 when I first had Invisalign I was deployed to Afghanistan and unfortunately wasn’t able to keep up with my treatment being in a war zone. After returning I decided at some point to get metal braces around 2020 and I’m 6 months out for finalization. Doctor Noor is incredible! Very kind compassionate and understanding his office utilizes state of the art technology and the cleanings here are the best! I’ve done cleanings at other dentists and this is by far the best. The office is very conveniently located right off Park avenue so you can commute here. The dental hygienists have been here for nearly a decade and if you don’t have dental insurance they will work with you, and provide affordable solutions. Fantastic experience: What can I say? Stepping into Smile Cafe Dental Spa off of Park Avenue this past Monday was an absolute treat. Upon opening the office door, I was immediately and warmly greeted by the receptionist only to then be escorted directly to the hygienist to the back work area, which seemed a veritable hive of activity. Despite the obvious business of the office, the dulcet sounds of Bossa Nova playing throughout the suite lulled me into a calm stupor as the hygienist carefully reviewed my chart. Soon after, a technician led me to the panoramic scanner and gently coached me how to position my chin. Back in the dentist chair, the hygienist Ingrith and I chatted amiably for a bit more before she commenced to do X-rays and a first rate but remarkably gentle cleaning. After this had been completed, another very sweet technician arrived to use a wand-like camera device to photograph my mouth from multiple angles so as to then quickly stitch the resulting photos together into a 3D digital model. Dr Noor was then introduced, after which he did a check for cavities et cetera. When I mentioned in passing that I was concerned about an orthodontic wire recently coming loose behind my mandibular incisors, he quickly offered to remedy the situation, completely free of charge (!), making sure to clean the area thoroughly , and and meticulously re-adhering the wire by curing the adhesive applied at each contact point. He even went so far as to insist on sanding down the cured adhesive when I mentioned it felt a bit bulky. Notably, 12 years ago, I had needed similar work done when the wire became lose, only to be charged $300-400 for the same exact work. I cringe to think of what the going rate for such a repair might now be today! Needless to say, I remain grateful to Dr Noor and his team and to the utmost selfless generosity that he demonstrated in quickly offering to help me with this issue. After all of of this work was completed, I was led to Dr Noor’s consult room where he proceeded to meet with me and show me the 3D scans of my mouth so I might easily visualize the topography of my teeth and the degree to which some of the molars have been worn down by grinding. I greatly appreciated his sharing his views on the lack of effectiveness of night guards as well as his proposal to employ an alternative solution that would not cause as much tension in the jaw. He did not however push any sales and at no point did I feel pressured to agree to signing up for any additional treatments or protocols. In sum, I remain blown away by Dr Noor’s generosity, humility, humanity and the outstanding sensitivity and empathy displayed by him and his team. This entire office felt like a rare nest of creativity where things are truly HAPPENING, where innovations of the dental variety are perpetually underway and where the cogs never stop turning. Thank you Dr Noor and team for a dreamy Monday afternoon dental cleaning!

Negative experience: They will charge you fair prices to start off as a new patient, and they will be friendly for the most part. However, they'll try their hardest to convince you for additional treatment (Invisalign, sealants, preventative care) that may not be completely necessary if you do your part in your overall oral health care. Their treatments are very expensive, which is super convenient for them. I previously paid $75 for a follow-up appointment, but it was a hassle explaining this to them when they were looking to charge me an additional $250 for a visit I already paid for. I had dental sealants done, but without properly explaining why, all of a sudden during my follow-up appointment today, they revealed they wanted to do additional treatments soon for two of my molars, priced at almost $400, significantly close in cost to the sealant treatment, which was more extensive as a whole. They'll try their best to "lock you in" with a financial commitment to guarantee your next appointment. Not the best option if you don't have dental insurance coverage – beware.

Fantastic experience: This place is 10/10 from the moment you walk in the door. Front facing staff (especially the queen coordinator Astrid) were impeccable. From the hygienists to the doctors, everyone was so knowledgeable and took time to really explain everything. As a teacher, they showed how much they truly care and appreciate our work. Fantastic experience: I went to Smile Cafe for a check up and cleaning today it was the best experience by far!! I had my teeth cleaned for many years but I never had an experience like this, I mean usually the sound of the cleaning drill makes me cringe but some how when my Hygienist INGRID starting cleaning my teeth I was waiting for it to freak out BUT NO nothing it was the smoothest cleaning ever it was Seamless I mean I didn't flinch once usually the sound of the drill makes me jerk but she knew what she was doing not once did the drill poke my gums the wrong way she covered my teeth with out me being nervous I was listening to the music and felt so relaxed before I knew it she was done, Like I said Seamless. Dr. Noor is awesome he runs the best dental practice. I recommend him and Ingrid and all of the Smile cafe Staff from the receptionist to the coordinator and lets not forget the Professor as they call him another staff member . I cannot wait for my next visit. I don't think I ever said that about a dental visit. They really make it easy on the nerves ;) I walked out with a SMILE and feeling GOOD!! That you Smile Cafe!! Fantastic experience: I have been a happy patient at Smile Cafe since 2023. The dentists at the practice are all skilled professionals who have seen me through regular checkups and cleanings. Dr. Noor and the hygienists are meticulous, skilled, and sincerely friendly and personable. The desk staff, hygienists, and technicians are all wonderful as well. There is just a nice atmosphere in the office. They know what they are doing and work as a team so that you can relax in what is usually a stressful situation. I mean, who likes going to the dentist? They make it as physically and emotionally as painless as possible.

Negative experience: If I could give minus a star I would. They do not deserve even 1 STAR!!! I was told my Invisalign treatment would cost $5,000 if I paid cash up front. I paid in full. But after two years, I’ve spent over $7,000—and now they want another $1,300 just to finish the treatment. Every visit includes new surprise charges, always discussed quietly in private with no itemized explanation. It’s extremely shady and unprofessional. The so called office manager is a scammer along with Dr. Noor, the owner. Worse, my bite was never fully corrected. I was the one who pointed out that the trays were pulling on my bottom teeth too hard, risking permanent damage. Only then did they switch me to a bottom brace. That correction came from me, not their expertise. To top it off, I was given a cheap knockoff retainer instead of Invisalign. It broke almost immediately. Now I’m being told I have to pay again—for either another low-quality version or even more money for the actual Invisalign retainers. This feels like a bait-and-switch operation. I trusted them with my dental health and finances, and I deeply regret it. Please be careful if you're considering treatment here

Negative experience: I purchased a $25 Groupon to get a regular dental cleaning and a consultation back in late February. During the consultation, they recommended a restoration of a couple of filling which were done around 7 years ago. There was no pain or issues with my teeth going into the cleaning/consultation. I accepted their recommendation to redo a couple of fillings. While the dentist was drilling to take out an older filling, a large piece cracked off by accident and I almost choked on it. Later that evening I was experience major pain and sensitivity in the tooth. They apologized and asked me to come back to see if they can fix the issue. I ended up gone my back 3 more times and my pain only got worse and now I have to get a root canal according to a couple of endodontist specialists since I’m experiencing major nerve/root pain in my entire upper left quadrant of my mouth. I can’t even eat or drink anything without feeling major pain. I have to chew on the right side of my mouth. Sometimes I get shocking nerve aim with inflammation when I’m not eating or drinking anything. This has been a disaster for the last two and a half months. For someone who takes good care of their teeth and gums and flosses after every meal, this definitely shouldn’t have happen to me. It’s absurd that anyone should have to go through this. I will never go back. Please stay away. I feel like I have been taken advantage of since I went there for just a cleaning and now I’m spending thousands of dollars to save my tooth and get rid of the pain. Absolutely insane. I hope no one goes through what I have experienced in the last two and a half months. They didn’t even give me a full refund. They just gave me a small partial refund and said they we will give me or a friend a free cleaning/X-ray which is a joke since they caused a major issue. This was 100% dental malpractice and I hope people can wake up and not be quick to accept recommendations from a dentist to do work which was not needed. I feel like I got scammed plus now I’m down thousands of dollars because of the aftermath this has caused. Yesterday evening I had the worst information yet and I’m hoping it’s not infected. I’m going to get my root canal next week and a different place and praying this will be fixed.

Positive experience: I’ve been a patient at this dental clinic for a while and generally have had good experiences with the doctors themselves—they are professional, and I appreciate the care they provide. However, I wanted to share some feedback based on two difficult experiences I’ve had. Last year, during my insurance processing, I was caught off guard when the financial coordinator collected my bank details and withdrew thousands of dollars without my full understanding or permission. While some of the amount was later refunded, the situation was distressing and left me feeling taken advantage of. More recently, during my latest visit, I came in thinking it was a routine braces adjustment, only to be told on the spot that I needed to have my wisdom teeth removed that same day. I was not mentally or emotionally prepared for surgery, and while I understand scheduling constraints, the lack of proper notice made me extremely anxious. I nearly passed out from the stress. The receptionist was kind, but the overall experience felt rushed and overwhelming. I’m now on the second day of recovery, in a lot of pain, and feeling very low. I truly hope future visits will involve clearer communication, more transparency, and respect for a patient’s right to process and prepare for procedures. I do value the clinic’s skills, but I believe there’s room for improvement in how patients are treated on the administrative and scheduling side.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Noor fit me in day-of when I called about a broken crown. He spent time with me, took X-rays and explained really clearly what was happening with the tooth. I appreciate it all but the time he takes is really unusual in my experience. His team is also really knowledgeable!

Fantastic experience: Smile cafe is the best dental office I've ever been to. The welcoming front desk staff, the amazing music that entertains and soothes during procedures, all the doctors have amazing customer service, and my goodness literally the BEST, most thorough, pain-free cleaning. I walk out with a million dollar smile each time. The invisaline team is so helpful supportive and accommodating. My only wish is that there was more than 1 bathroom for everyone. Other than that, I'm so happy I found this Smile Cafe Dental Spa and recommend to everyone I know.
