Fantastic experience: Best dental experience in over 15 years. Everyone was super nice. The dentist Dr. Cristina and hygienist Alex were very friendly and very upfront. This is the first time in 10 years No dentist has tried to upsell me to get a deep cleaning. She said my teeth were fine. My gums were fine. She made a couple of suggestions. This is the dentist you must go to. They are fair. They are honest and they are great. Take it from me. I’ve been scammed by a lot of Dentist one even charge me $8000 for a crown when I told the office staff that they said that is completely highway robbery so go to Sunny dental in Sunny Isles.

Negative experience: I gave this clinic a fifth chance, hoping things would finally improve — but unfortunately, nothing changed. Even with a scheduled appointment, you are first sat in the hallway, waiting up to an hour, then moved into the office where you wait another hour. Staff are constantly running around, but no one can explain when or if someone will actually come to see you. There is complete chaos and no clear organization. What’s most disappointing is that no one values the patient’s time — only their own. There is zero attention to the client, no communication, and no sense of care or respect. For the high prices they charge, the level of service should be significantly better. I do not recommend this clinic.

Positive experience: I spent $4,500 on a root canal/ crown to save a tooth that lasted two years. After the time, cost, and effort, I was told the tooth could not be saved, and recently the crown and post fell out. I feel disappointed. The recent cleaning and X-rays were excellent, stains were removed immediately and my teeth looked great. The office is convenient and staff professional, but the overall outcome was a poor return on a major investment.

I came in with an emergency due to a failed implant that caused severe inflammation and was pressing on a nerve, which was incredibly painful. Fantastic experience: First time visit. Went for replacement of my plastic retainers and was extremely pleased, they even gave me a 3d model of my upper and lower teeth for future dental services. After which I noticed that retainers were extremely thin and began cracking prematurely, called for a solution and they immediately replaced with a more thicker retainer without showing any ill behavior or communication. Staff is very friendly and attentive and the office looks very nice and clean. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great dentist!

Negative experience: I had the worst experience at this dental office. I went in for a routine cleaning based on a recommendation, but the visit was a complete mess. The cleaning itself was mediocre—after taking four X-rays, the hygienist kept switching between a sharp tool, a power tool, and a manual instrument, going over the same spots repeatedly. She then rushed through the final step, barely cleaning the outer surfaces of my teeth with toothpaste and completely neglecting the inner areas. On top of that, the dental assistant kept pushing for unnecessary procedures. First, she tried to get me to take another set of X-rays, even though I had already done them. When I declined, she insisted on taking photos of my face and teeth with a professional camera but struggled to get them right. Another assistant had to step in to help, and the whole process felt pointless. Then, they asked me again to do a full-mouth X-ray after all the photos were taken. At that point, I was so frustrated that I left before even seeing the doctor. This office felt completely unorganized, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for efficient, professional care.

The staff is so amazing that at times, it feels like you’re not in a dental office but just hanging out with friends. Negative experience: I'm really disagree with the communication and times for starting the service that I reserved just for a deep cleaning and the extra charge when you already paid. Also, the front desk service is half good half bad. I love the service that I received in my cleaning, the guy was professional, polite and honest with the service and just him understood the reason of my visit. Despite the polite and friendly communication with the Dentist and the assistant Dentist, the disrespectful in the time to start with the contracted service and the extracharge for services that you never asked is unacceptable for any patient.

Positive experience: I have been a patient for over 5 yrs visiting at least 4 times a year. I am in need of several implants. Sadly even with the best ppo insurance I could get, the out of pocket costs have been out of reach for me. I remained regular with my cleaning. I have always been treated kindly and with respect. Dr George is very good at his craft and Manny has always been perfect with me handling my cleanings. During my 5 yrs visiting there have been multiple times when they have called me and asked me to reschedule and I have almost always accommodated. I work freelance and with work being slow, I had no choice but to accept the work as it came. Today I called to reschedule my appt. I try my best to never do this. I understand they are a business. This is the second time in over 5 yrs that I was forced to do this. The first time being in year 1. I was told they have a policy of charging $50 for same day cancellation. After already having a very hard morning, I told them to just cancel it, not reschedule and that I would go elsewhere. I won’t leave a 1 star review as I have had mostly good experiences there but I can’t help but feel let down. Courtesy and loyalty has to work both ways especially for your patients that have been with you for a long time. I now find myself uncomfortable and in need of finding a new Dentist. I will miss Dr George and Manny. I still recommend sunny isles dental but had to share my subjective experience. I wish them well. Thank you for the 5yrs.

We understand that things come up and sometimes appointments need to be rescheduled, and we always try our best to be accommodating; with that said, the front desk administrator you spoke with wanted to explain to you that you are a valued patient and as a courtesy, we'll be waiving this $50 this time but to keep it in mind for the future if you need to cancel the same day. We'll miss having you as a patient if you decide to go elsewhere, but we wish you all the best in your search for a new dentist.
Fantastic experience: They have a great staff at all levels. Dr George did two implants today and I was in and out in an hour. The entire staff is always pleasant to work with. I highly recommend Sunny Isles Dental for all your dental needs… Ron Tipa

Positive experience: Scheduling process unprofessional because they randomly change your appointment after you book a day and time. Then it was almost 2 hours to get a routine cleaning. A lot of waiting. Something we are not accustomed to. Fortunately service received and staff were excellent on our first visit.
