The games are a huge plus when you’re in the waiting room & the staff is super supportive/reassuring during the time they care for my daughter! I know she’s in good hands & is excited to come out when she’s done with her treatments for a small gift

Negative experience: Was sent here as a referral, which the dentist said he didn’t see so he wasn’t even aware . Should’ve followed my gut. Every single child came out bawling . That should’ve sent me running . My naive self thought sedation meant they would put my son to sleep. He did amazing the entire visit which makes me feel worse . It took them 45 minutes for something they said would take 20 . He came out with complete fear in his eyes. He looked traumatized. Then when I asked him about it he tried not to cry like he was in trouble and scared to. His chest was red from the restraint they used which stupid me I should’ve never signed the form and walked out then. They said it’s to prevent from grabbing the instruments . He had 5 crowns done and all under local plus this medicine that made him groggy . He went back smiling and laughing , came back scared and hurt. I asked the dentist how he did and he said “oh he was fussy at first then calmed down” . Didn’t seem like he even remembered really. My son is 3 and kept saying the doctor told him “no” and was “mad” at him. He also said he didn’t stop crying . I can’t even know for sure what happened or how they treated my baby because they don’t let you back there not even to check on them. I had a peek when the door opened as I was paying and I just saw him facing the opposite way staring and in a wheel chair. My heart hurts and I have the worst guilt. Find somewhere that allows you in the back with your little and ask to explain the sedation they are doing. Run far away from here . The positive reviews don’t even come from those who have actual procedures done seems like, just routine work. (Had this been routine I probably would’ve gave a raving review unknowingly) The ONLY star this place gets is for their nice staff up front and the dental assistant who gave my son the medicine. Hopefully he had one of them by his side trying to calm him down.

Fantastic experience: This is an amazing place no issues. Everything was as smooth as possible from the Front Desk to the ladies doing the x-rays to the doctor and dental assistant to the lady that help me out with my son. I know I am probably forgetting somebody but just know y’all were amazing.

Fantastic experience: Very professional and great with the kiddos. They explained everything very well and were very caring.

Fantastic experience: Awesome people. They help you find out if your insurance covers, and they make it so comfortable my the kids. They are also able to do teeth extraction for kids.

Negative experience: The only one star I will give is to the front staff for being friendly. But I had a really bad experience at this office, I DO NOT RECOMMEND if you have little ones getting a procedure done. My 4 yr old had the appointment for 11:45 am, 30 min passed and still hadn’t been called. When called, 40 minutes after the appt time, they told me it would still be another 35 min to even start. Mind you, she was on an empty stomach, as they asked for her to be fasted. I am a very reasonable person and understand everything is a process but it was the lack of communicating and setting expectations beforehand. Especially when you have a child hungry for more than 12 hours. I asked if I can reschedule for an earlier appointment on another day and i was told they don’t have any until 11 am. It’s unreasonable for a child that young to have an appointment scheduled that late FASTED, I don’t think they are considerate and that was my major concern. My daughter’s tummy was hurting and she was so hungry and started crying. So imagine your child going through the pre math and after math of this whole process. I was not going to put her through that again another day. So I walked out of the clinic. I immediately called other clinics and they told me typically for young kids they start procedures at 6 am and no later than 9-10 am. So I am switching now to another facility with more common sense.

They made sure I felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout the entire visit. The process was seamless, and I didn’t encounter any issues at all. This clinic is especially designed for children, which makes it even more impressive for families. I highly recommend this dental clinic to everyone – it's a fantastic place where both kids and adults are treated with care and professionalism!

The staff greeted us upon entering an kept us informed of the wait time. It was a busy day that day an the staff provided the best comfort for us. Not only that our children enjoyed video games and movies while they waited... Our children enjoyed them selfs so much they forgot the fear of being at a dentist office.. Highly recommend!!!

Negative experience: They take forever! I arrived ten minutes early for my 5 o'clock appointment and waited till 5:30 for my kiddos to be seen. If appointments at 5 shouldn't be over 30 minutes. It would have been nice to know. Cielo Dental should be more considerate of our time too.

Negative experience: Took my daughter here today she informed that they told her to shut up when they took her to the back my biggest fear came true after hearing that she was crying and scared being that she is only 4 years old my sister gave me better recommendation of a dentist office that is gentle and respectful of children i will not be returning to this location

Fantastic experience: Dr. Louviere and his team are amazing. The ladies in the front Office are kind and compassionate. They have no issues with scheduling emergency visits and always get us in Same day, depending on the treatment. Dr. Louviere Has a kind bedside manner, but is also very straightforward and honest when it comes to treatment plans. No Sugarcoating (pun intended). My daughter needed extensive dental work and he was able to get all of it done in one day and she’s back to Normal 4 hours later ❤️. The anesthesiologist team are very sweet and take great care with your children. This meant so much to me, especially being a mom and not being able to be with her during services, which I know can cause concerns For some parents, but they kept me updated throughout the whole process. 10/10 I appreciate them so much.

Positive experience: This was a great experience, only advice is if you have multiple children Aim to be the first one there first thing in the morning. I have 5 kids both youngest are autistic and were having meltdowns the first time we went but everyone was being attended first even though our kids had appointments we got frustrated and we walked out due to feeling upset that we were already called to the back but were put last when everyone who showed up after us Dr was already with them.... However, this is the first clinic where the front desk staff and all dental assistants are very kind and nice so we got called after and were asked to return first thing in the morning and they would take our kids in right away great experience over all great place to go!

Negative experience: We will NEVER return to this so-called specialist for children. They did not wait till the sedation took affect on our 3 yr. old toddler. They took him back wide awake and proceeded with the procedure to cap his teeth while having to hold him down because he was kicking and screaming. Due to this our toddler is TRAUMATIZED of any doctor, nurse, and clinic. He is so terrified, we entered a bank and because he thought it was a clinic, he started screaming.

Fantastic experience: We came in to see the specialist. The office made the process comfortable and love how the staff explained eveything that was going to get done with my child. Definitely recommend this office.

Negative experience: Absolute nightmare, dentists is so rude and unprofessional, that was my 1st red flag, 2nd red flag was watching child after child being taken out in wheelchairs and seeing every single one of them crying. I know some kids cry but every single one. And they force toddlers to sit still and do all x-rays. 3rd red flag. They should not say x-rays need to be done if they don't, they can do the xray while the child is under. I canceled and ran out of there with my 4 yr old. This place needs to be reported. Especially that dentists. I highly recommend texas smiles off commerce, such a better experience there, dentists is amazing with children.

Fantastic experience: The front desk staff was quick and helpful with me and my son, their communication was excellent & the way they cared & informed me every step of the way was reassuring that I made the right decision to allow them to do my sons procedure. The dentist and anesthesiologist were very open and honest with me also listened to me about my son ! I am so grateful for this place !!! They really have a way with kids , I’d give 10 stars if I could! My son even ask me to tell the dentist and his nurses that they did a great job. Recoveries was quick instructions were CLEAR and I’d go back in a heartbeat!!! Thank you Cielo Dental .

Fantastic experience: Always great friendly and good people working and great services they book my kids altogether so just one appointment and easy in and out and if they do take a bit long because they are busy they always have a movie playing and games for the kiddos. My kids love the toothbrush sets and toys after they finish their appointment. I've been going for years and they never disappoint.

Negative experience: I took my kids here a few days ago. Everything was fine until my daughter came home and confided in me that the dentist got mad at her for crying. This is unacceptable to me. The dentist should have more patience considering he has kids coming in and out of his office all day. I will never bring my kids back here again.

Luv that they have a big TV always showing kids movies it keeps them sitting and Entertain it's always clean and even though they have a game section and it's closed for know cus of Covid it's fine

Fantastic experience: One of the best dental offices I have went to. Staff is super friendly and very informative about my child’s treatment. I highly recommend coming here. They also had games to keep my child entertained while he waited for his treatment to be done.

Negative experience: I was referred to this office to perform dental work on my child. I was told prior to the appointment that my child should fast starting at least from midnight the night prior to appointment. Day of appointment, appointment was at 10am, my child was fasting and we showed up at 9:45 to complete the necessary paperwork. My child was seen at 11:00 am (one hour after appointment time) to take X-rays and exam. After discussing with the dentist of the work that needed to be done I was told it could take 30-45 minutes to get started and total time for the dentist to complete said work would be 15 minutes. We waited in the waiting areas for 2 hours, during those 2 hours of waiting I asked the front desk lady twice how much longer it would take for my child to be called to the back to get started. I was told maybe 15-30 minutes. My child was finally called to go to the back at 1:00pm. We did not leave the office until 2:00pm!! My poor child had to wait hours to be treated and had gone without eating since the evening before. I have never experienced or witnessed a huge lack of compassion, attentiveness as well as false expectations from a health/dental office before. I will never bring my children to this dental office again, absolutely waist of time. There was another mom and child who had been waiting since 9:00 am to have work performed on her child.

Fantastic experience: Literally the best dentist place to take my daughter! The staff are so nice and friendly! They make you feel at home and very welcoming. It’s also very clean and I love they way they decorated the place, it’s so cute. I love it here. I definitely will recommend. :)

Fantastic experience: This was the best experience I have ever had at a dentists office. All of the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. My daughter had always had a giant fear of the dentist. So of course when I had to take her in to the dentist I was beyond terrified of the adventure. But from the second we walked through the door she was happy and in love. They have fun old school video games in their lobby. Free to play!. And from there every person that interacted with my daughter was so nice and bubbly. I loved it, and so did she. I normally have no getting my daughter to leave. Not today I had to bribe my daughter to leave the dentist. 20/10 would recommend for anyone. I will never be going anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: My 3 children have been coming to cielo dental for the past three years, and each time we come the staff has been amazing! They always make us feel comfortable and treat us in a kind and respectful manner. My kids enjoy their waiting period before being seen by watching a movie, playing on a arcade game and sometimes they even enjoy some pizza and they also receive a gift at the end of the visit.

My girls absolutely adore going to the dentist now, because Cielo makes it an absolutely amazing experience. They have games and movies set up in the waiting area, as well as very cool goodies for the kids after their appointment. They take the fear out of going to the dentist! I would absolutely recommend Cielo to anyone looking for a dentist, particularly one easily accessible from Lackland AFB.

We've been coming here for at least five years and we've never had a bad experience, which is crucial in getting kids to take good care of their teeth and not fear the dentist.
