Fantastic experience: Very friendly and welcoming staff. They addressed all my concerns and gave me really good feedback back on my options and treatment plans. Also gave me a referral for something I didn’t think was a big deal but could be so overall very happy with my visit and look forward to having my dental needs met.

Fantastic experience: Thank God for Jesus and Schuchart! I had a tooth emergency, and they were able to get me in and seen so quickly. My family had to find another dentist for a couple of years due to insurance, and it’s true that you never know what you have until it’s gone. I’m so glad to be back! Thank you guys for everything!

Negative experience: I had a very disappointing billing experience with Schuchart Dentistry. I visited in November and was charged upfront because they said they weren’t sure if my insurance would cover the visit. My insurance did cover the services (except the oral exam), and there was a contracted rate agreed upon between the office and my insurance. Despite this, the office refused to honor the contracted amount and only issued a partial refund, keeping the rest even after insurance paid them. Their reasoning was that since part of the visit wasn’t covered, they would charge the full amount instead of the contracted rate, which both I and my insurance were told is incorrect. Stephanie in billing was combative and told me she would call me back in two weeks. I had to follow up multiple times, and even after my insurance company contacted them directly and advised them they were billing incorrectly, the office still refused to issue the full refund. My insurance is now filing a formal complaint. I actually liked the dentist, which makes this even more unfortunate, but the billing practices are a major red flag. I strongly recommend that anyone who comes here closely reviews their Explanation of Benefits. There are many great dentists in this area. Choose one that bills ethically and honors their insurance contracts.

Fantastic experience: Been going here for several years now. The staff is always super friendly and asks about my life every-time I go in. I would highly recommend this dentist office to anyone who has just moved to Texas or is looking for a better experience in dentistry. They are great!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Schuchart and staff provided excellent service during my recent visit for examination and cleaning. This dental office is very accommodating and has a positive, pleasant atmosphere. I have always received OUTSTANDING SERVICE!!

Negative experience: New experiences. Schuchart Dentistry asked me: quote: "We want to make every appointment a great one, and we'd really appreciate your input on how we did." end of quote. So, I paid $435.00, but the Schuchart Dentistry reimbursed me a little as $87.00, interesting. I am still waiting for the full reimbursement, please, which means $348.00. (Below is a screenshot of how much Schuchart Dentistry reimbursed for refusing to provide a Dental Membership Plan as agreed; they asked me to pay 50% for each service - twice a year.) look at images. ***************************** Some time ago i picked the Schuchart Dentistry because I believe it is good to support local business. It seems I am wrong. Today, I entered Schuchart Dentistry office as follow up my membership benefits started in July '25. What a surprise, no benefits. I paid $435.00 for it, and today should be free exam, basic cleanings, preventive clinical fluoride treatment application..., and I have hear that I have to copay 50%. For what I paid $435.00 and entered Dental Membership Plan? ********************************* It is interesting. Two and a half hours after I left my review, I received a phone call apologizing for what happened to me. They agreed that I deserved such free service. They try to blame a former employee for not attaching the Dental Membership Plan. Nevertheless, nobody offered to reschedule my visit or reimburse me $435.00. Did I lose my money? There is more to share. After my last visit in July, at the end of the visit, the dentist spoke about herself and said how amazing she was for what she did for me. I was left speechless. It wasn’t even a comfortable experience. Saliva from my mouth wasn’t suck out on time all the time, and I choked myself. Saying such a word is not considered professional by traditional ethical standards. The American Dental Association (ADA) and the World Dental Federation have specific codes of conduct for communication with patients that express modesty, not narcissism. Here are my experiences, I do not want to discourage anyone, I am sharing what I experienced. Everyone has to make own decision.

Fantastic experience: Schuhart Dentistry is honestly the best! Everyone there is so kind and makes you feel super comfortable the whole time. I love that it’s a husband-and-wife duo, they are both so down to earth and really take their time with you. They explain everything in a way that doesn’t feel overwhelming, and they’re always running on time, which I appreciate so much. My cleaning was gentle but really thorough. I always leave feeling taken care of. Highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: Amazing!! Thats exactly what my experience was!! Its been a long time since I have had any work done so I was nervous about what to expect. Everyone in the office was so thorough and kind!!! Dr. Chris explained every tooth from top to bottom & answered all my questions. If I could give a 10 I definitely would!! You will not be disappointed here. You can tell everyone is like family & they make sure to make you feel that way too !! Back at it tomorrow & can't wait !!

Negative experience: If I could give zero stars I would. Except for the care I received for my cleaning/exam that was good the ladies were amazing. Zero stars would be for the billing dept. or whoever is in charge of that. First off I scheduled my appointment because of all the great reviews. Before my appointment I was told I was out of network but all I had to pay was $225 to get seen and that my insurance would reimburse me for “that amount” I was ok with that. They also said they reviewed my benefits everything was covered! Great awesome. Fast forward to now I get a check in the mail for only $97 not a $225 check. Called my insurance they said I billed for a whole mouth xray which I can only have 1 every 5 years. Denied. So if they reviewed my benefits why didn’t they see it wouldn’t be covered. Another thing I told my insurance where was my $225 check and they said they have never heard of such thing that goes into the dentist practice pocket. So I ask the text that I have been communicating with about this and they continue to say they did everything correct on their part which I believe I was blindsided and lied to. So long story short if you’re out of network don’t go here.

Fantastic experience: Extremely friendly and punctual staff, low wait times, very thorough with explanations, and great at communication. Helped me get my Invisalign case transferred with minimal stress! Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: I had my first appointment here today and it was a great experience from start to finish. Everyone was very welcoming—from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. The doctor explained everything clearly, took time to answer all my questions, and never made me feel rushed, which I really appreciated. The hygienist was professional, thorough, and made the cleaning as comfortable as possible. I was also impressed by how clean the facility is and how up-to-date all the equipment is. There’s a lot of technology involved, which was a bit overwhelming at first, but when I shared that I didn’t want my photo taken for my file, they immediately respected my preference. Overall, I felt well cared for, listened to, and comfortable throughout the entire visit. Highly recommend!

Every staff I encountered was so kind, supportive, and encouraging. Fantastic experience: Started going to Schuchart Dentist in 2024 and every visit has been a great experience. My experiences every time are with Dr Chris and he is very good. Always leave there with everything taken care of and never left thinking that could’ve gone better. Walk in the front door and you will understand the personal touches the Schucharts have put into the place and then you will realize it is ran as their business and not a corporate chain. Staff is phenomenal as well and I appreciate the playlist of music they helped Dr Chris with :)

Very deep dive into every aspect of our dental health. Even your sinus cavity and blood pressure. TV’s on the ceiling, FINALLY!! Overall, glad we gave them a shot.

Positive experience: My first visit as a new patient was great. The office is nice and very clean. Everyone was very kind and considerate. I’m used to the dentist checking on teeth after the dental hygienist is done cleaning and didn’t experience that here but that may not be necessary in the dental world. I haven’t been to the dentist in the 3 years. Other than that, I had a good experience.

I do have to come back for more work in my mouth. They are reasonable as far as price goes. I also had them to do my cleaning last week and they did a great job. I am glad I changed my dentist office. I will recommend them to anyone if they ask about needing a dentist.

Positive experience: Today was my first time here and it did not disappoint! I love how the staff are so very friendly, they explain every detail step by step, they are very helpful and guide you thourgh everything! You will love it! Fantastic experience: The entire team at Schuchart Dentistry was amazing! They are kind, caring and professional. I’ve had many traumatic dental experiences in the past and I felt completely at ease throughout my entire appointment. I felt heard and cared for. Ms. Jennifer was compassionate, Dr. Sylvia was extremely thorough, and Lyandra (my hygienist) took extra care during my cleaning to make sure I was comfortable - I have sensitive teeth. The team kept me well informed throughout the appointment. Sage, the treatment coordinator, explained the treatment plan in detail and no one pressured me to get the work done “right now” - I have a crazy schedule/few weeks and they were happy to accommodate based on my availability. They have an awesome playlist, too I am so happy I found Schuchart Dentistry!

Fantastic experience: My eldery Father needed a few teeth extracted. We had a previous bad experience with a dentist who didn't care my Dad was in pain, he just wanted to move on to the next person. At Schuchart's dentisty my Dad was treated with such gentleness and compassion. Everyone from the front desk, assistants and Dentist were all genuinely wonderful. I appreciate every person in that office more than I can express.

Fantastic experience: We might have just found our favorite dentist office—my boys even call her “our tooth fairy,” Dr. Sylvia! On our very first visit, we accidentally arrived almost two hours early. I was ready to just head home, assuming I’d be charged a cancellation fee. But to my surprise, the staff was incredibly accommodating and kind. They managed to assist me and my boys with such compassion and professionalism. The hygienist and the office manager were both polite, friendly, and professional. But what stood out the most was how Dr. Sylvia and the dental hygienist took their time explaining everything to my boys—what they were doing during the visit, what the referrals were for, and why involving an orthodontist might be needed. They made sure we understood every step. We truly felt cared for and valued. Highly recommend this amazing team

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough about this wonderful dental team They came to my rescue when I had gum pain, explained everything thoroughly and made it really enjoyable. I never thought I’d say that about a teeth cleaning. The office is beautifully decorated and I even found a new show to watch that was playing on the ceiling tv while I was getting my cleaning done. They’re wonderful. Everyone cares a lot. It’s on the other side of town from me, but I’m willing to make the drive. That’s how great the experience was today. I just found my new dental home!
