Their customer service, knowledgeable hygienists and front desk, office staff are exemplary of how the way things should be. They never forget you and are pleasant, and are honestly glad to see you. I love them a lot…they should be medical office consultants. Dr. Vanivelt is a great doctor. I know I’m taken care of when I come here. No, I’m not a relative, or am getting paid to leave this, just an honest consumer, however if they want to discount or reciprocate anyway/shape, I’m good with that too! LoL You should make them your Dental Care Providers too!!! They actually take something that seems dreadful (yet necessary), unpopular..(going to the dentist) and change it to a positive experience, having you leave relieved and feeling accomplished after all…but you have to do your part too, regular visits at LEAST twice a year, brush like they tell you and use that floss!!

Fantastic experience: For a person who has a fear of dentists I cannot begin to tell you how comfortable I am at Dr Tim’s! I am well cared for, babied, and pain free, Dr Tim, my Janine, and my daughter Jenny see to that! You couldn’t be in a better place to have dental work done! They care!

Negative experience: You didnot treat me very well because of my insurance. The original dentist would not even see me unless I paid x amount of dollars. I came because she put an $1800 tooth in my mouth and it came out. She would not see me because of what I previously stated. Yet she was the one who put it in. It was not supposed to come out! I had to go elsewhere for reasonable service!! That's sad because I liked Town Center!

From the front desk and all the girls out there, Brandy, who made me feel comfortable about the process and did Dr. Spencer for being so kind and explained everything to me as they were about to do it. They were easy to get into. I had a broken tooth and a crown that needs to be fixed. We set up a plan for that. Scheduled my cleaning and they told me it was nice to meet me before I left. I went there because I was having trouble with something my original dentist had done, and the staff and Doctor Lora Thomas were very thorough in going over possibilities and researching the problem. As expected, I had to have more / different work done to the tooth, but I think I will be happy, expecting to be able to chew on that side of my mouth again soon.

She only refers me on to other dental professionals where she completely knows the quality of their work. I will never go anywhere else. I drive half an hour to see her. I'd drive an hour if I had to. Everyone who works in that office is kind, well trained, efficient and super friendly. Fantastic experience: I called on Monday with hopes of getting an appointment this week for a nagging issue that had developed. They got me in on Thursday. Dr. Vanitvelt quickly assessed the issue, explain the situation and options, and acted on my decision. I was done and on my way in no time for my 3.5 hour drive home. I was totally shocked after only few mins numbing my tooth,he returned did little more numbing. He then said you will feel a little pressure and I was lying there waiting for great pain.Next thing I know,the Hygientist was holding my wisdom tooth in her hand. Only minimum amount pain noted. Will recommend Town Center to my friends and Family. 2/27/23 Had dental appointment at Towncenter Family Dental. Very positive experience. Love the friendly atmosphere. Saw Dr.Tim.I call him my Favorite Dentist.Had filling done with no pain noted.His Hygientists Jennifer and India were also Awesome. I am borderline terrified of the Dentist and they made me feel so comfortable and safe. They offer in office service plans for uninsured and under insured, payment plans and really care about their patients. I'm so very grateful for this place. Fantastic experience: This is the best dental office in Michigan. Dr. Tim worked his magic on extracting a large infected moler. Dr. Tim, Dr. Lori & Dr. Holiday have worked on me for a couple decades & are thee BEST BAR none dentists not to mention they all are great ppl in general. Friendly, knowledgeable, nice, positive, professional. This includes all the assistants & office employees. I have never had a bad experience with them. When emergencies happen they have always gotten me in quickly. Approx 10 yrs ago, Dr. Lori re constructed my daughter's grandmother entire jaw after major accident at Flint Metal Center when a die hook swung back and about took her head off doing major damage to her jaw, teeth ect. Dr. Lori was there every step of the way. No BS. These are All Great friendly ppl that work miracles. I am Happy and Proud to call this office & Dr's my friends and health care providers for my teeth, jaw issues.

Fantastic experience: Had my first appointment today for a painful wisdom tooth. I ended up having to get it removed. I was a bit anxious about it because I have never had that kind of dental work done but the doctor and staff were amazing. Katrina was my cheerleader during the whole procedure. Great office atmosphere, super friendly staff and the doctor was very skilled and explained my options clearly to help me with make the decision to remove the tooth.

Positive experience: I've been a loyal customer for 14 years but my last couple appointments I feel like I'm being pushed into a cleaning procedure that I made it clear I didn't want. I decided to just change dentist's rather than have this brought up every six months. Wish I could stay I've been very happy here but I don't want to feel like I'm being pressured into something that is expensive and I feel unnecessary. Thanks for many years of great service.

Fantastic experience: The office, the staff, and the dentist are phenomenal! I called the office Friday morning for a new patient visit and was scheduled for a visit the following Monday. I was in a lot of pain. My wait time was maybe 5-7 minutes. A root canal was done during that visit. The dentist and his staff throughly explained my plan of care and answered all of my questions putting me at ease. I wholeheartedly recommend this practice to anyone, 100/10! I had the same dentist for 15 years and he unexpectedly retired. Picked this dentist based on Google reviews and I'm so excited to have found them.

Fantastic experience: My first visit went well. As soon as I walked into the lobby and up to the reception desk, I was warmly greeted. A quick ID check than sat down. I went to use the rest room and was given a "good morning" from two other smiling faces. My experience with my hygienist was a good one. She was personable, friendly and very knowledgeable and focused on doing a good job. The doc came in and greeted me and then conversed with my hygienist and then talked with me. We had a good discussion about a concerned tooth and went over the options and his opinion on what was best to do. Made an appointment there for my next cleaning date and one for in 3 weeks to have my concerned tooth taken care of. Went to checkout and another smiling face and warm greeting. The lady explained the insurance program and difference in costs and I signed up. Very nice plan. This was a great decision to come to Town Center Family Dental. I recommend it highly.

I nentioned it and Without a second thought Dr Vanivelt and Jen checked out the immediate problem. What was supposed to be a quick visit took a whole lot longer. Oh, did i mention I was last patient and caused them to stay late? Ive had a real fear of the dentist for years. I started going to Dr Vanivelt 20 years ago. He knew how I was but worked with me anyway. Because of him and his demeanor I do not dread my trips to office.
