The front desk team member was courteous and promptly checked me in. I was escorted to my cleaning area by Priscilla. A very nice person and thoughtful. She ensured that I was comfortable and asked if I had any questions/concerns prior to my cleaning. She explained, in detail, what she was doing and why she was doing it. A very knowledgeable person when explaining what was going on. Plenty of water and removal of cleaning material, so that was nice. The Dr. Arrived and did his part. Very personable and informative. I completed my examination, scheduled my next appointment and left my appointment feeling good. Thank you Triad Dentistry!

Negative experience: They scanned my signature on a form that they printed my name on, giving them permission to charge my credit card whenever they want. If their response they dont remember. Alyssa is the dental hygienist confirmed nothing will be charge without my signature. She lied. Leisa the receptionist is the one that told me the insurance claim was entered wrong. Natalie who recently retired was rude and disrespectful when telling her no additional charges should have been place on my amex. Tammy knew her colleagues were in the wrong, she just could not say anything. I paid 1407 the day of my appt on my debit card, the day after they put a charge of 368. 00 on my credit card without my permission. They sent a claim to Metlife dental for 1799.00, in which the total cost of the procedure they(insurance co) paid 928.00. You do the math. They claim they do not owe me nothing. So that make them committing insurance fraud and also forging signature on a form they scan into their system is fraud as well. They also sent false information to my credit card company when disputing the charge, by inflating the price of the procedure. They told me to find another dentist since I did not believe them in a letter that was sent to me in the mail. This is something this business will always remember, I will make sure if it.

Fantastic experience: Childhood dentist trama makes the dentist not a great place for me. The whole office is so kind and patient. Karen even held my hand on the way back to the chair. They took time to ask why I had all the feelings and emotions, which made me feel heard. They didn't rush me, they let me take time to settle. Needles are a trigger and they took extra care to keep them out of view, and Karen did a brilliant job of distracting me. They let me know what they were doing while working, which also helped. Listen, I'd rather get stabbed with a rusty nail than go to the dentist....but if you have to go, go to this one, they are thee absolute best!

Positive experience: I don't think anyone enjoys a day at the dentist but everyone was very friendly and professional and was very easy to talk to and answered all the questions I had. Thank you so much

Negative experience: I went to get a wisdom tooth pulled, got the tooth beside it damaged by the equipment and dentist. Avoid this unprofessional practice, it’s been a month now and I’m in severe pain in the tooth beside it that I didn’t have any issues with before that lousy job.

Fantastic experience: I have extreme anxiety over dental visits due to a traumatic experience as a child with a bad dental office and I have required being under IV sedation to have anything major done including fillings. So I had not been back to a dentist to have work done that I’ve desperately needed for twenty years until I found this office. I had a tooth that needed to be extracted so badly I couldn’t wait for an IV sedation visit so instead of waiting with the pain or attempting to pull it myself I decided to try having it extracted while awake at this dental office. I’m so glad I did! The experience was seriously so easy that I’m getting the rest of the work I need done while awake here. Between the gas and numbing I honestly could feel nothing at all and had zero anxiety. Trust me, if you have dental anxiety like I do, go to Triad Dentistry. Dr Hatcher and his staff are incredible at making you comfortable enough to want to come back. They are super friendly and professional! Absolutely incredible experience from someone too afraid to go to the dentist since childhood. 10/10 I highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Thank you to the team at TD, especially Helen and Dr. Hatcher. I called Monday in deep pain. I was seen Tuesday (and offered treatment same day), but came back today, Thursday, to proceed with extracting a wisdom tooth. Helen was incredibly patient with me, as I sat in the room and cried out of fear for at least 30 minutes. Then she simply sat with me and answered all of my questions, on repeat, until I finally felt comfortable. Dr. Hatcher came in and gave me a breathing exercise and didn’t rush me one bit. Once it was all said and done and I was in the chair, the procedure took no more than 5 minutes and I was out the door. Also, shout out to Lisa at the front desk for being so polite and informative. This is a great team!

Fantastic experience: Have you ever left a medical office and thought to yourself, "I have found my people?" I called Triad Dentistry in severe pain, and they were able to see me within 45 minutes. Leisa at the front desk is a gem of a human, Jordana made me feel instantly at ease, and Dr. Merrell was compassionate, knowledgeable, and validating. I went through the Google listings, made multiple emergency appointments, & prayed my tooth could be saved today, for less than the price of a car. Triad Dentistry responded immediately with courtesy & urgency. Their location was convenient, beautiful & spotless. The staff was relaxed, but professional & efficient. The Assistant was kind, pleasant & accommodating, while prepping me for each step, and moving the process along. The dentist had such a gentle spirit, a soothing voice & a feather touch. She was knowledgeable, informative, & worked quickly to grind that tooth down for a same-day crown! I walked out with a comfortable temporary. They saved my tooth & made my day. Fantastic experience: I got a filling from Dr. Walker and she was fantastic!! I didn't feel a thing and it was over in under 30 minutes. The staff at the front greeted me and made me feel welcomed and I got some chapstick on my way out (the iced pear chapstick is the way to go).

Fantastic experience: I was visiting family from out of town and a veneer popped off my front tooth. I called Triad Dental first thing on Monday morning and they saw me immediately and fixed my tooth in less than an hour. I am so happy I found them - they were all so friendly and welcoming. Fantastic experience: I absolutely love Carolina Dentistry’s staff and professionalism. Everyone is extremely proficient and polite. I’ve been coming here for years and they just continue to get better and better. Constantly updating their equipment and making the patient experience as lovely as possible. Negative experience: I just FIRED this group! They are overpriced, refuse to be part of dental insurance companies like Aetna, I believe because they overcharge, demand semi-annual x-rays, and the last straw was when they cancelled my cleaning appointment because I didn't call them back to confirm. They gave my appointment to someone else! They merely called my old landline phone number, which I had terminated, to make that decision. The staff has never asked if I have changed my phone number or if I have an email account. I had been with Dr. Merrill for the sixteen years he's been in business in Greensboro, and I have never missed or been late for an appointment. I could understand charging a fee in case of a missed appointment, but to give it to another person for an assured maximum charge shows they prioritize their income over patient care.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Hatcher has the best dental practice that I have ever seen. As soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted with a warm and friendly welcome, which made me feel more calm and comfortable. I had concerns about some of my teeth and this was my first visit here. Everyone involved in my care was kind, attentive, and communicated with me and it was amazing how well they all worked together as a team. It really made for a stress free and calm environment. The office is equipped with the latest sophisticated technology and Dr. Hatcher and his staff's specialized knowledge is totally amazing. It makes for a huge bonus when it comes to peace of mind as to an accurate diagnosis. My appointment was not rushed. All of my oral needs and concerns were addressed. Dr. Hatcher went over all of my x-rays with me. My health issues are rather complex and he took my whole medical history into consideration when coming up with a treatment plan. He is looking out for my best interests and he is conservative and doesn't do work that isn't needed. I didn't have any cavities, but there are some things that I need to do in being proactive as to my oral health. Down the road, I will need two crowns, but I don't dread having them done. Because of some medical issues that affect my oral health, I will be having my teeth cleaned every four months. He and his team are very professional and kind. I felt like I was valued and didn't feel like a number. My visit felt personalized and comfortable. I have dry eye syndrome and was even offered dark glasses to wear during the visit. I love this dental practice! I'd give them more than five stars if I could! I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a dentist who truly cares about their patients and top-notch care. I can't even begin to describe how impressed I am as to Dr. Hatcher and each one of his team members involved in my care. They all went the extra mile to ensure that I felt at ease and comfortable. They earned my trust and I know I'm in good hands.

Fantastic experience: 10/10 experience. Dentist makes me pretty nervous but it was a calming atmosphere as soon as I walked in the lobby. Everyone was super helpful. I had X-rays done and then a few weeks later (about a week and a half ago now) I had a sedated procedure to have a tooth extracted. Thank you to Dr. Hatcher! Everything went smooth and I’m healing up fine. I haven’t been to the dentist in years due to a past bad experience, triad dentist had the best reviews around and I can see why! I also do not have dental insurance but they offer very affordable payment plans and also accept CareCredit. Very much worth it

Fantastic experience: I had pain in a tooth and was scheduled to leave town for a week and needed to get the tooth evaluated before the pain worsened and before leaving town. My regular dentist is closed both on Monday and Tuesday, leaving me limited options. I found this dentist office in searching online, advertising emergent time slots available. The kind receptionist gave me an afternoon appointment and told me that I would get an x-ray and evaluation. When I arrived, I was greeted kindly and taken immediately for the x-ray of my tooth and within an hour had a game plan to come back the next day and have the cracked tooth replaced with a temporary crown. Karen was assisting Dr Walker and made me feel very comfortable through the numbing process and crown placement, taking images and impressions. She even handled my payment. Dr Walker was friendly and efficient. My tooth has given me no problem since. I went that day and transferred my dental records from my former dentist to Triad Denistry. It’s been a long time since I have been this impressed with a dental experience! Thank you so much to everyone one there and for accommodating emergency visits!

Negative experience: The office is decent, but they severely overbook appointments. Be prepared to wait for hours in a crowded waiting room that isn’t equipped to handle the number of patients they schedule each day. I had my wisdom teeth removed, and during the procedure, the surgeon told my husband that he had chipped one of my teeth — but in reality, he broke off a significant portion of it. I spoke with the manager afterward, but I never received a follow-up call or any reassurance that the issue would be addressed after my recovery. I’m open to updating my review once something is done to fix the damage caused to my tooth.

Negative experience: I had a new patient appointment scheduled (my husband already goes here and my kids to their pediatric office) and my daughter woke up with 103 fever and had the flu and could not go to school so I had to reschedule. I called first Thing in the morning and let them know and rescheduled it for three weeks later. It was scheduled for a Monday and I had a major wreck where my car was totaled and flipped in their office was closed. I called and left a message over the weekend to let them know that I could not make it on Monday because I did not have a car in my mouth is busted in multiple places from the wreck. I could even provide the pictures and hospital records to show them. I called today to reschedule it and they want $150 deposit just to make the appointment. I understand taking a deposit if you had to reschedule twice, but both of these incidents were out of my control. I didn’t just no-show. I called both times as soon as I knew. If they wanted a deposit of like $50, I could’ve understood. But $150 deposit to make an appointment is just crazy.

Fantastic experience: I have had extensive work done at Triad Denitrify over the past 15 years. This practice, by all measures provides the highest quality care and in the most professional manner I have received in my 64 years. They will be my dental practice of choice without exception.

Fantastic experience: I was a walk-in off the street with an emergency toothache and the tooth required extraction. Completed the appropriate documentation and two teeth extracted in 1 hour 15 minutes. Service was great and the cost was reasonable. Excellent professional service!

Negative experience: My boyfriend came into the office today to have his wisdom teeth extracted. I was the one that took him to his appointment. About halfway through the appointment I received a phone call from the facility stating the nurse asked for me to come back to the treatment room. As i go back there i’m met with the doctor? surgeon? head somebody. He then proceeded to tell me his nurse is out with the flu and asks me if I was capable of starting an IV on my boyfriend due to him not being able to get one because and I quote “they keep blowing”. At first I thought he was joking so I jokingly agreed and laughed it off, however i quickly realized they were not joking at all. Him and his staff were fully going to let me attempt an IV and even stated they often have family members come back and get one when they cannot. These people had no previous knowledge of my career and still asked me to do so. I felt as if that was very unprofessional. They continued to do the wisdom teeth removal only giving him intramuscular medication, without an IV, and without the anesthesiologist being there today. Not having an established IV and giving these medications is very dangerous and illegal seeing as they could have major effects on blood pressure. Also you would think a facility that often does these procedures and commonly gives IV’s would have an ultrasound machine to locate veins.We were sent home with 2 small squares of gauze and minimal instructions. We had an awful experience and will not be going back. This place is a joke.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Merrell is the best dentist in Greensboro. I have been a patient of his for over 10+ years. He is gentle, efficient and always has a smile on his face. Everyone at Triad Dentistry from the front desk to the assistants and hygienists have made going to the dentist a pleasant experience.

Negative experience: My experience with Triad dentistry started off good but ended terribly. When first calling to see if they accept my insurance, I was told they do not, however, it was said they can treat us and then submit the claim and see if/what we will be reimbursed. Once they that, they will bill us the balance. This sounded perfectly fine, as we have worked with other dental practices that did this in past. We went in and received 5 cleanings, 1 for each member of our family. Then, we were told 2 of our children had minor cavities, my husband had a cracked tooth, and I needed a filling redone. We decided to take care of our children first and put our treatment on hold. I'm so glad we did b/c once they treated our children, we were told we owed over $2100 and that we MUST pay that first before they will submit our claim. For various reasons, we didn't have the $2100 laying around to give them (thank goodness we didn't get our services done. I can't even imagine what they would have charged). They offered to do care credit. We were not interested in financing through care credit for the simple fact we could not afford another monthly payment, not to mention, once we finally paid everything off with Care Credit (over a year to do) would our claim even still be eligible for reimbursement? At this point, we didn't trust the office to give us an accurate answer to that question. Fast forward to today, this office took it upon itself to drain my HSA account. I use this account to pay for counseling services for my children as well as orthodontics for me and two of my children. This office was deceiving from the beginning (and did it with a smile) and then put my family in a difficult position to pay for other healthcare services we need for our children. I have since called my insurance provider and HSA provider to prevent this from happening again, but wanted to make anyone who tries to work with this practice in the same manner, aware of what could potentially happen to them should they proceed to work with this office. It is dishonest and unethical and I would not recommend working with this office in this capacity.

Fantastic experience: My experience at Triad Dentistry was great. They was able to fit me in their busy schedule for an emergency procedure. I am always nervous going to the dentist but my Dentist Chad Merrill and Helen made me feel comfortable despite being nervous. They calmly talk me through every step. My healing process is doing great.

Fantastic experience: Last night my tooth started hurting so bad I thought I had a migraine. After taking 4 Excedrins between 10 pm and 5 am I realized the throbbing pain was coming from my tooth, and by this time all I could think about was that scene from Cast Away . I called at 8am first time there, seen at 9 am, out of pain at 10am and out the door around noon after having two root canal’s. So thankful and I will go back, staff extremely polite and professional

Fantastic experience: The ladies in the front office couldn’t be more considerate and welcoming. Their warmth is only matched by the hygienists that help clean. Grateful for a dentist office that feels both personable and professional.

I saw Dr. Bailey Walker she is fantastic, she was very thorough and made sure that I understood what my issue is and provided a treatment plan to address it. I will definitely continue to see her. Fantastic experience: I visited Triad Denistry for the first time today and I already Love the staff and the Dentist. I believe they call him Dr H. (Dr. Hatcher) I had to have an extraction and was more than a little nervous. Devan made me feel right at home from the time we said hello until I left the office. She was very pleasant and made me feel at ease. Dr H was so unexpectedly pleasant. I have had pleasant Drs/Dentist in the past. The difference was he didn't leave me out of the conversation at any point. He didn't just talk to the hygienist as if I were not in the room. That was refreshing. And he was very, very thoughful and a gentle man. What I really, really thought was special is when the receptionist (long blond wavy hair [ can't remember her name]) said "we are so glad you are here". I was like Wow, made my day even better. A very welcomed experience, I almost want to visit them weekly just to say Hello

Fantastic experience: This place is FANTASTIC! As soon as I came in I felt so welcomed, right at home and it felt like family. Everyone is sooo nice and had great energy! Everyone was proficient and so personable. I received great care, my teeth looked great after a simple cleaning, and I was well informed about my current dental condition(s) and any potential issue(s) that could happen in the future. They educate you well and they listen well. I’m really looking forward to my next visit! Fantastic experience: I can’t even choose the words of how I appreciate and love Dr. Merrell and his assistants. They are always there when I need them and work with me when I have emergencies with my teeth. Only dentist that I will go to for my dental needs. I used to have anxiety and panic attacks before I went to Dr. Merrell. He listens to his patients and works with them to decide what is the best treatment for them. Not only is he a great dentist, but has become a good friend. Thank you Dr. Merrell for your help and working your magic.

Fantastic experience: I have been very hesitant going to the Dentist but not at Triad Denistry! They made me feel so welcomed. They were attentive to my needs and my nerves! Alicia and Dr. Walker were my care team and they were so warm and comforting even the Reception! I couldn’t have chosen a better practice!

Fantastic experience: I love my dental practice. I normally see them every six months for preventative care. To see them step up for an emergency further convinced me that THIS group is excellent. I’ve got an infection in my jaw, and have one tooth compromised. On medication to address swelling and make me a candidate for the least risky treatment. That treatment is scheduled next week. A followup is scheduled for a month out to check that tooth’s neighbors and make sure this infection is resolved. My family lost an older longtime friend last year to an oral infection that wasn’t checked after antibiotics and treatment. I didn’t mention this friend - they were calm and insistent on the speed needed and the caution of following up afterwards. I know my anxiety showed some, but I left with my appointment cards in hand and my confidence restored.

Fantastic experience: October 10th, 2024 was my first time visiting Triad Dentistry. The dental hygienist made me feel very comfortable and was helpful in actually showing me my x-rays and explaining the next step to take.... I told her about my High Anxiety with dental work and she was very compassionate and understanding.... Thank You!

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at this practice for 25 plus years. Yesterday I went for my six month dental clean. The philosophy of this practice has consistently focused on quality patient centered care. Regardless of the stage of life, every client is treated with respect and attention to the client’s goals. The staff are caring professionals and you are always in good hands.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit after trying to find a new dentist for several years. I finally have a new dental care home! My entire visit was positive and light. Everyone was so very personal but professional. They were also very thorough. I am so very happy that I found this place. I think all the professionals there would be great as they all seem to work as team. Dr Walker and everyone that worked with her were excellent. I highly recommend this place!

Fantastic experience: From the very first moment that my husband and I walked in the door, we were greeted and welcomed to the office. We were checked in by the sweetest woman who took my ID and insurance. She asked us to have a seat and stated that it would be just a few minutes. They called me back and we took x-rays. The young lady that took my x-rays was so sweet and patient with me. She took her time and made sure that I was comfortable throughout this process. We were taken to a room, and greeted immediately. This young lady was a doll. She continued taking some x-rays and photos. She asked questions and involved my husband. It was such a fun and enjoyable experience. Jordana was perfect. She took great care of me and was very honest when it came to what i should expect. She took her time and went over the procedures and prices and she set my care plan up amazingly. Dr. Merrill came in and was very helpful. He took his time and got to know me and what my wishes are. He looked at my x-rays and my mouth and told me what he suggested and worked with jordana to get me scheduled quickly for my healthy dental process. I was able to schedule my next appointment easy and most importantly quickly. I can NOT recommend this office enough!! What an amazing experience. I’m very lucky to have found them. I love my new dentistry family!!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Merrill and his team always has the best interest of their patients in mind. This visit was a normal cleaning and checkup. They did the normal procedures and also made sure I didn't have any issues. They made sure any questions I may have had about my visit were covered completely.

Fantastic experience: I had my first dental visit today at Triad Dentistry and it was absolutely the best! From being welcomed at the front door and into the exam room! I can’t say enough great things about my first impressions with how Alisia made me feel welcomed and right where I needed to be. She explained everything so clearly and helped me through the entire visit. Dr. Merrell was great and explained very clearly. Would definitely recommend this office to anyone looking for somewhere that treats you this well!
