Fantastic experience: Everyone was nice and professional as usual and I mean Everyone!!!

Negative experience: Numerous charges for medically unnecessary services once a second opinion was obtained from another doctor. I was told I had 12 cavities, (yes 12) but went to another facility who told me I only had one. I believe they saw old fillings I had and thought it would be an opportunity to get more money out of me. Other dentists have offered to re-do old fillings before; it seems that this company decided to lie, even having the person in charge of finance come to talk to me about the “necessity” of the work. If you are going to see a dentist at this office, make sure you get a second opinion before paying all the money they request. I saved so much money from going to another dentist EDIT: the office has replied stating that I am not a patient of theirs which they cannot determine from a Google review which does not use my legal name or email, so they are lying.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Dental center of Aspen hill for eight years. I have been always happy with my visits. The dentists are extremely kind and provide an amazing service. The receptions are so nice and welcoming too. After scheduling my office visit, I got text confirmation, also additional reminder on the day of my visit which was great with my busy life not to forget my appointment. Dr. Saba gave me a complete treatment plan. She in-placed a crown for me, which I had no issues with it for the past month. I definitely recommend this dental office. Another visit in December 2025 for routine checkup and dental cleaning. Another great experience with Dr. Saba for her checkups and Misty the dental hygienist for her excellent work.

Fantastic experience: It was my first time at a dentist ever and was very nervous & in immense pain when arrived. Despite the intense pain, I was welcomed with warm smiles and friendly staff! I was assured I’d be okay and was seen by Dr. Jun after some x-rays. He examined my issue and was unfortunately not able to do my surgery in house but referenced me to Dr. Romanow from Greater Maryland Oral Surgery and was the best recommendation ever. I was in great hands and am now recovering from my surgery! Truly, thank you for all the help & I hope to come back for regular cleanings when I’m all healed up! :)

Fantastic experience: My wife and I have been going to Dental Center of Aspen Hill for over 6 years. The front office, hygienists, and dentists are all friendly and personal while also professional and do a great job. Hardly ever any wait times too. I would highly recommend them to my friends and family in the area. It's no wonder they expanded their practice to a larger space over the last few years.

Fantastic experience: Great practice. Been coming here for years. Staff is very nice and really like my hygienist and all the younger doctors that work here. Also feel like they have all the modern equipment which past places didn’t. Finally they will make sure to get in touch in all the ways possible for upcoming appointments so they are impossible to forget!

Positive experience: I have had 2 appointments in this office. Both appointments I have received conflicting texts. This time, I know i made my appointment at 9 am in person. I got confirmation messages up to yesterday am saying 9 am. Then around 1230 I get a message saying 930. I call and leave a message and get no response. I show up and my appointment is magically 930 am again. I work full time, schedule first thing in am appts and will need to find another office as this is not ok. Manager said hygienist had a family emergency. Ok, then pick up the phone the day before.

Fantastic experience: I had the best cleaning done by Hygienist Krissia! I have braces, so plaque tends to build up more often than usual. Krissia is very gentle on the teeth but so thorough. She gets everything you wouldn’t even think was there. My teeth feel amazing after my cleaning, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I highly recommend booking with her if you want your teeth cleaned properly and with care!

Fantastic experience: My wife and I just moved to MD and has to select a new dentist office. Well, all the people at Dental Center of Aspen were the best we have experienced in 50+ years. They handled all our information and set us up for our appointments in a week. As new patients, they provided all the X-rays and our first cleaning was GREAT! My wife did not even need gas to relax her fears, since their cleaning was so gentle. I have to commend Misty for a great job and we got to know each other. Best place to get your dental work!

Negative experience: The dental center cancelled my appointment twice, with the first time being only 10 mins late and the second time stating that I don’t have the OBGYN clearance form for something as small as a cleaning. They never informed me prior to the appointment and sent me home after showing up on time (even though it took a long time to schedule this appointment). What’s worse is the receptionist and hygienist assistant who is refusing to see me, seems to get a lot of satisfaction from sending me home & smirking at turning down 38 weeks pregnant woman from her cleaning appointment. I told them that I could call to get a clearance but it would take a while and I don’t think I’ll be seen today and they kind of laugh. I hope the owner of the practice takes this feedback seriously and train their employee to be more professional in handling patients. At the end of the day, we all can choose to be seen another clinic.

Fantastic experience: Best dentist experience I’ve had! Staff were all super friendly and there was virtually no wait time!

Negative experience: When my husband and I began seeing Dental Center of Aspen Hill dentists more than two years ago, the practice seemed to take care of their patients and look out for the patients’ financial as well as their dental needs. However, a recent incident showed us that when they make a mistake, they are happy to make us pay for it. We purchased a dental insurance policy for 2024 to cover anticipated costs. My husband’s care was in three phases, and first two went smoothly earlier in 2024. On October 31, 2024, he had an impression taken for an occlusal guard. However, the dentist didn’t send the impression to the manufacturer or file the claim in November or December while we still had dental coverage. Nor did they communicate with us about any of this until my husband finally called them. The delay led to a second impression being required in January, 2025, and my husband coming out with a bill for $1130.70 instead of the $195.30 that should have been the total charge if the claim had been filed while we had insurance in 2024. Their lack of communication was disappointing. My husband and I have spoken to three persons of authority there, including the billing and office managers, and their unwillingness to take responsibility for their negligence is unacceptable.

Negative experience: Have been in this clinic for 3+ years and decided to switch to a new clinic. My insurance never changed. They charged me for regular dental cleaning after the service was done and said there is a deductible that everyone should pay. Although they refunded me the money after I confirmed with insurance, I will never returned as this is a very basic and simple mistake that should never happen.

Negative experience: Most unprofessional experience. My wife cracked a crown that was put on by this medical provided two years ago.. No problem. She (my wife) called on a Friday evening to make an appointment to get it taken care of. We arrived to our emergency appointment the following Tuesday Morning. Because of covid, we had to call the office when we arrived 0900. We parked, and called. Just for them to tell us that they don't except our insurance anymore, which they could have told us Friday when we called. To make it all worst. They offered to do a free check up. And give us an invoice for out of pocket expenses. Whats the point of having insurance They blamed the mix up on the New reception lady. No real accountability. Edit: it took the "Owner" 3 years to reply to this review. Lol.

Fantastic experience: Have had a dental cleaning and two fillings done here, and we have definitely found our forever dentist! Everyone is so kind, and they take their time to make sure you're comfortable and get everything right. We had an issue with our insurance only partially being in network, and they worked with the company to do the paperwork so we could b fully covered.

Negative experience: I have been going to this dental clinic for a couple years now. I was quite disappointed that I was not able to pay with my Alphaeon card an amount that was about $500+. The financial staff informed me that they took only $1000 and above. She also mentioned that only the doctor could approve a lower transaction. Nevertheless, she never attempted to reach the doctor and her costumer service and attitude towards my request was nothing more than unprofessional. I told her to please close my file and of my family member and I could immediately see the smirk in her face. Everyone deserves respect and be treated with dignity. We all work hard to pay their salaries.

Super knowledgeable and informative and talked me through improvements I can practice during the cleaning. The doctor explained my needed treatment in detail and gave me her honest opinion.

Upon entering the reception area, you will be greeted by a friendly professional receptionist. The area is decorated in such a way that it calms and relaxes you. The entire staff is friendly and accommodating. Dr Allafi is the best dentist I have ever experienced. He is thorough, efficient and friendly. He takes time to explain what is going on and what challenges we may face. They work hard to ensure that you have a positive experience and in my book, they are 5 star!

I discovered them when I left my last dentist for cancelling an 2nd root canal appointment, I walked into this dentist and they handle it right away. No "specialty" appointment, they had 3 people available to do it. Properly staffed and friendly. So happy I won't switch offices even though I moved.
