And my mouthful of new teeth (crowns) literally "designed" by Dr. Buchman are perfect - born from my very imperfect jaw and teeth... After our family dentist, the AMAZING Dr. Leif Lorenz, retired a few years back, I was certain that we would never again have a dentist and office staff of that caliber. I didn't think such a dentist even existed. OMG! there is one: Dr. Buchman. It all makes sense now that I know Lorenz was Buchman's family dentist growing up (who would have guessed?), and of course, Buchman practiced for years with Lorenz. Dr. Buchman has all of those super-powers of caring, thoughtful, knowledgeable, creative dentistry; and the staff are still as caring and helpful as ever. And with all of the new technology that Buchman brings to the table, it's pure OMG! Buchman is the BEST!

Fantastic experience: I’ve had to have dental work done. I got 2 implants in preparation for my computer generated partial. Dr Buchman did such an extraordinary job in creating my partial. He uses state of the art computer equipment to make the partial. I have gotten so many compliments on my smile and I love it. He has made me very happy because now I can smile with great confidence! Dr Buchman transformed my teeth and now I feel very comfortable with my new smile. The best part about using the computer generated system to make the imprint for the partial, all the teeth match and you can’t tell where the partial and my teeth meet. I’m loving it 12/14/22 I had a visit today at the Buchman Family Dental office, for my annual cleaning. As always every one was super kind and always make the experience of a dental visit enjoyable. I never have any issues with the services I receive from Dr Buchman. He and his staff always take excellent care of any dental issues his patients may have. I’m very pleased with my services. I had to have a tooth pulled and some other work done that could have been very painful!!! Dr Buchman did a fantastic job!!! I love my dentist!!! Skillfully gave the shots so that the proper numbing was done for him to complete the job!!! I take comfort in knowing Dr Buchman is going to be a leader in dentistry technology that will greatly benefit his patients. Dr Buchman is great and truly cares about his patient’s dental health. Fantastic experience: Dr. Buchman and each and every member of his staff are incredible. Not only are they kind and attentive to clients, they have changed my life (and my teeth!). Go visit and see for yourself. I have too many great things to say here it is impossible to tell you them all. Unlike my experience with AFD (a group of dentists in Little Rock that in no way fixed my problematic teeth but instead made a joke of my mouth - crowns not high enough, temps AND permanent crowns shattered, and somehow neglected to see some of the most problematic teeth I have (ones that would have simply rotted out without quick, extremely accurate care). Do not go to AFD ever - especially when you have the Buchman clinic right here in Little Rock on Markham is such a convenient location. I’ll say a few things as examples: 1) Clinic has special machine that essentially gives a complete xray of your mouth. It is incredibly clear. Once Doc reviews the xrays, you come back to the clinic and he and the hygienists walk you through tooth by tooth to explain its condition and plan for fixing if necessary. You literally look at the xray screen and my amazing hygienist would help me by touching the specific tooth doc was referring to. They answered ANY AND ALL of my questions that day and happily do so any time I have a visit. 2) Onviously I’ve already stated AFD made a joke of my mouth. It would feel as if I had food compacted in my permanent crowns but in reality the crowns did not come up high enough. It was making me crazy that I couldn’t get food out of my permanent crowns. Like a failure. That issue was literally one of the first things Doc pointed out. THAT ONE STATEMENT MADE ME KNOW I WASN’T WRONG, and it also proved to me that any educated dentist should know or knew the joke of a predicament my mouth was in. HOWEVER, DOC AND STAFF NEVER EVER SAID A WORD TO CHIDE OR EMBARRASS ME, NEVER MADE FUN OF ME TO MY FACE IN THE CHAIR LIKE MY PREVIOUS DENTIST, AND WERE GENUINELY SO PROFESSIONAL AND WERE KNOWLEDGEABLE AND READY TO START ON MY TEETH WHENEVER I WAS READY. They just wanted to help me fix my teeth. Embarrassingly, I cried my entire initial visit because I knew Doc and hygienists affirmed my concerns and threw out ideas before my plan was created. And you know what? When doc told me about how my crowns were not high enough, he said he thought he could build up the crown which would save me thousands of dollars - meaning he was going to do everything possible to save me money but at the same time fix the poorly made and fitted crowns to be as they should have always been. (FYI - id already spent $16k at AFD and was forced to pay over $3k for the permanent crown that broke.) POINT HERE! He DID NOT HAVE TO DO THAT! Essentially, because his top priority is patient satisfaction and ultimately do the most reasonable, affordable plan FOR ANYONE. 3) And finally this may not matter to you but I hate the numbing shots in my gums. Doc wiggled the needle back and forth just the slightest bit while injecting the numbing medication. It was incredible. I HONESTLY COULD BARELY FEEL IT! OMG it blew my mind. Caveat: bottom numbing injections hurt slightly more than top injections but still not as bad as the normal way of injecting medicine in my gums. I have said too much and didn’t intend to. I just truly advise you to at least look into and research the clinic. Go have a new patient appointment. If you don’t like the clinic, don’t go back. But I’m going to go out on a limb here and make you a promise that these individuals will change your life (and most importantly for my comments here, your TEETH!!!!). Thank you so much Buchman team. You honestly did and still are changing my life.

These guys are ranked in the top 2 on the insurance company portal in the Little Rock area based on the brightness score. They measure brightness score based on patients’ reviews, claim submissions, treatment cost, and their specialty, etc

Instead of pricy dental implant doctor come up with much better and cheaper solution:to build up the tooth root (he evaluated it make sure it is still good) and get new crown on it. Everything was done very quickly and new crown fits perfectly and looks much better than broken old one made by other dentist. Five stars for excellence!

Oct 2024 update: there today, Hygienist Amanda and Dr. Kinzler are great and so is the rest of the staff. Spring & Oct 2025 update: I can't say enough how great Amanda and Dr. Kinzler are. The clinic has always been a pleasant place with friendly staff who make you feel welcome.

Their staff is so kind, and their faculty is newly updated and very cute. I was able to book my first appointment for the day after I called at 7am, and then they had me in for additional work the next week when I was off at work. Their receptionist was so nice! I am so glad to have a new great family dentist in Little Rock that I’ll be at for years to come.

Fantastic experience: I am so happy that I found this denistry practice. My dentist had left his practice so I need to find a new dentist when I flossed out an old cap on a back upper tooth. The staff was was friendly and courteous and Dr. Kinzler was so caring and thorough. He determined that my cap was in good enough condition to put back on and that I had no decay around the affected tooth. So I was pleasantly surprised to be able to walk out with the cap back in place instead of an expensive procedure and more visits for a new cap.

Dr. Kinzler is so gentle, so nice, and so mindful of making sure his patient is happy and comfortable throughout every step. He respects his staff and they seem to sync really well during procedures. I will recommend to anyone!

Negative experience: I would give 0 stars if possible. Dr. Buchman bought this practice from Dr. Lorenz. Because Lorenz was such a phenomenal dentist, I stayed for several years to give Dr. Buchman a chance. There are two words to describe this practice- disorganized and careless. For years, I have elected to have the first appointment of the day. I show up for my regular cleaning and the office is being renovated. I was given no phone call, text, email or any sort of notification alerting me that my appointment was moved, canceled, or that the office was undertaking renovations. I left a voicemail for the office requesting help and to see if they had a temporary location I was supposed to go to. I waited and received no call back, saw no staff member, and I was not helped. I left another voicemail and still have never heard back. I am incredibly disappointed. I do not expect the world of my dental office but being alerted of the status of my appointment or a response to my call after I showed up for my regularly scheduled appointment I do expect. Dr. Buchman and his staff have failed to take over Lorenz's practice and the legacy of kindness, friendliness, and excellence that Lorenz and his team were known for. I am incredibly disappointed. As someone who has worked with customers for years, I understand how things can slip through the cracks, but this failure on Dr. Buchman's part is quite frankly embarrassing. But alas, I suppose they do not teach customer service, people skills, and human decency in dental school. If you would like an effective dentistry experience with dental equipment, employees, customer service, and communication, look elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: This clinic has taken care of my dental needs for about forty years! That pretty much says what I think about these folks. Best in Little Rock without doubt. I highly recommend Dr. Buchman and Dr. Lorenz and everyone in the clinic. The dental assistants are exceptional. I had an emergency situation today, 6-17-21, and they scheduled me at 7:00 a.m. this morning. I was in and out in about an hour and my emergency toothache was resolved. Outstanding! ….and no, I’m not related to anyone at the Clinic.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to this same office for 40 years. They bought my childhood dentist’s practice when he retired. I absolutely love my hygienist there. She’s gentle. She’s thorough. She has great bedside manner. She makes going to the dentist not a horrible experience.
