Negative experience: Just had the worst experience at this office. While I was in the chair I heard the doctor screaming at the staff. Made me think of she treats her staff like that how does she treat her patients. I will not be coming back and will be letting others know about my experience.

Negative experience: I came to this office with family member and while waiting i over hear the doctor yelling at the staff for something in front of everyone! This is beyond disappointing. If this is how they treat the staff who is there to work and help them how are they treating the clients who come in! Don’t come here go somewhere else where they will treat you nicely!

Negative experience: Update- I was their client for many years. Though they provided good service. They had a data breach and I had to find out through the news. Not until months later did I get a mail correspondence from them about it. They either don’t know how to deal with an issue like this or did not care enough to call or text

Fantastic experience: Dr. G was very patient, stated what she was doing, the receptionist angel was very helpful and kind. I don't like dentists, but now i had a different experience. Thanks dr.d ,and angel, see u soon.

Negative experience: I had an appointment to have a tooth extracted however the dentist pulled 2 teeth. I was given 3 Vicodin tabs for pain. The pain from the tooth removal was ok but the headaches were awful. I called the office and was told to take Advil, which did no good. I called back and a prescription was sent to the pharmacy for codeine/tylenol (I'm allergic to codeine) I gave up but I will never go back to that dental office again.

Fantastic experience: I loved everything, the very professional attention, I loved them all very much. They solved my dental discomfort, an excellent option to go and attend to your oral hygiene.

Negative experience: This place is very dirty and the staff doesn’t seem to know what they are doing. I arrived and was sent a text to wait in my car for them to call me. I waited over an hour with seemingly nobody else there and by the time they finally called me back i was ready to nope out of there. I had already paid for xrays and got my old xrays sent to them (which might i add nobody charges for) but they went another almost $100 just for them to send you your xrays that you already paid for from them….make it make sense. I’m extremely glad I didn’t have them do the dental work after realizing all the fake reviews they have.

Negative experience: Did not want to fix the problem I came in for, told me alot of lies to get money out of me, blood all over the floors. Mouth never hurts till I visit this place. Wish I never came.

Negative experience: Don’t come here. I stopped coming here after seeing the doctor in her office sleeping!!!! Highly unprofessional!!! How can you be trusted to work if you are barely awake!!!!!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Me and my children have been going to Westend since they opened their location on west 16th street and when I say I couldn’t be more pleased about the location on the east side. The commute is shorter, they’re nice and friendly and have excellent service. I love how attentive they are to all my dental needs!!! And they even give you a little back with all your dental necessities in it!

Negative experience: Honestly, this wasn't the best dental experience I've ever had, when you are sensitive and concerned about your clients you should take into consideration those who have a low threshold for pain, and telling your patients to not yell out in pain after you are scaping their gums and teeth with a very sharp medal tool without offering any sort of numbing agent or gentleness, is ridiculous! Not everyone person is the same and some are very fearful and hesitant of dentist because of this. There's no empathy or concern. The front desk staff is not as curious or professional as they could, Was not impressed with how they transitioned from english while talking to patients to spanish when referring & speaking to each other, it's rude and inconsiderate. And lastly they didn't handle an insurance matter in a timely manner, I kept getting excuses and the run around, it literally months for them to say anything and then it still wasn't handled even though they said they would call, but never did, so 6 months passed and absolutely nothing was done, they dropped the ball knowing I needed work done on my teeth. If they would do their job instead of whispering about patients at the front desk, things would get handled properly and in a timely manner so we wouldn't need to wait months for results and help with our dental needs. Just not a good experience at all...

Negative experience: They’re very kind there but the dental work is kind of crazy. I got my wisdom teeth pulled & two cavities filled. The first time they filled my cavity, my teeth were uneven due to the filling. I went back to get it fixed & it’s still uneven. I fear my teeth may never be the same! All because of a cavity fill ! Be careful.

Negative experience: Secretary there doesn't really pay attention to what she does or says. Too many issues with her now, always changing the previous conversations over the phone. Isn't paying attention to the appointments she schedules.

Negative experience: I live a minute I can walk to them ...... they were so rude.... and demanded I pay even though my daughters records were already sent they still wanted me to pay 60 a piece for an exam they had already had at their school ...mind you my kids needed major work done .... but they turned us away because they didn't feel like checking emails. I will never go back and never recommend them the staff just looks at you like your stupid. Mind you I have a huge following on all social media's and I also work for a Dr. SO word will travel fast .

Fantastic experience: I recently had two root canals done at this clinic, and I gotta say... I was really impressed. The place itself is super nice and clean. The receptionist was super friendly right from the start and made sure I was all good to go. Dr. Meghana Gaharwar was amazing! Really professional, yet super friendly. Made the whole root canal thing way less scary than I thought it would be... and Rosemary? Just as awesome! They both really know their stuff and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. If you need some dental work done, this is the place to go. Great vibes, awesome people, and they really take care of you. I held off on dental work for too long and wish I would have gone here sooner!

Fantastic experience: I went here for the first time today! They were able to get me in very quickly which was nice! They took my x rays and did an exam of my teeth as soon as I got there. I did have a few cavities which I expected since I haven’t been to the dentist in about 6 years, but I was not disappointed choosing to go to them! They did all of my fillings for me the same day! I had a lot of anxiety but Dr. Gaharwar and Dr. Sergio were so kind and understanding! Everything was clean and when I needed breaks to calm down a bit (I have a fear of the dentist) they were more than accommodating! There was also no lingering pain after the numbing wore off either, and I was able to enjoy my dinner! Thanks Westend Dental!

Negative experience: First allow me to say, I've been to this office before, I needed a tooth extraction. Had I done a review on that visit, it would have been a 5 plus star. I would have rated them high because the staff that registered me in was so warm and friendly. The dentist that preformed the much needed extraction was knowledgeable, caring, and seemed concerned regarding my issue. I would've highly recommend her to my family and friends. However, unfortunately, due to the unconcerned, rude encounter that I experienced last week, I most definitely will not be returning nor recommending anyone to this office. I went in for another tooth extraction. The young receptionist, after I filled out the required forms; informed me that I could not be seen at their office because my insurance was showing in their system, that I was not eligible. I told her there must be a mistake, because my insurance is definitely up to date, and I'm definitely eligible. This wasn't my first time at the office. She basically told me to take it up with my insurance. So I called my insurance provider, spoke with a representative, she informed me that she didn't know why it showed that in Westend's system, but I was definitely eligible, not only for dental, but health, and vision as well. I let the young receptionist hear this, but she shooed me away, and said that had another patient behind me. WOW!! Not let her take care of the other party, then get back to me, but basically, we can't see you here. Therefore, I called my former dentist, because of the severe tooth pain I was experiencing. They instructed me to come on in, and also said, yes my insurance was up to par. I feel much better, no more tooth pain, thank God for my former dentist. Nevertheless I give Westend Dental a one star not because of the Dentist, but because no one should have to experience the rudeness and inconsiderate behavior of the receptionist that I was subjected to.

Negative experience: I had an assessment with Westend Dental, Dr Gaharwar about 4 weeks ago. I was told at that appointment that HIP Insurance would cover my SRP, Extractions and Partial by Dr Gaharwar. I believed Dr Gaharwar and allowed the extractions of most of my upper teeth. I kept my appointment on 8/10/23 for the SRP and the impression for the partials but I was told at that time that HIP Insurance would not cover the partial! Westend never contacted my to let me know of this information of no coverage from HIP. If I had known that HIP would not cover the partial I would not have allowed Dr Gaharwar to extract most of my teeth! Now Dr Gaharwar is ignoring my calls and will not make this right! Dr Gaharwar jumped the gun on giving me misinformation and extracting my teeth without knowing for sure that HIP would not cover me getting partials! I have reported this incident with DDS Association for poor patient practice.

Fantastic experience: Love this dentist office during Covid an after Covid. The staff is really nice an not argumentative. They are understanding an will re explain things if you don’t understand. They accept walk-in an is really nice about it. The call an ask if you have follow up questions an check on you if you complain about anything. There kid friendly an handicap assessable. The facility is clean an nice smelling.
